You might be aqueerplatonic, aka aquaplatonic. I think a lot of aspec discussion is on QPRs, which is fine. But I also think we need to acknowledge it can create a certain pressure. I saw so many posts about QPRs that I felt like I was supposed to have one. People talk about them like its something everyone who's aspec experiences.

But not every aspec will experience it! And that should be seen as okay! When I learned aquaplatonic was a label, it made me feel better about myself. You don't need to have a special someone, regardless of romance or not. If you just have friends, that's okay. If you don't even want friends, that's okay. Don't force yourself into a type of relationship you don't want to have!

(This is not an attack on QPRs or the community in general. This is something I just feel like needs to be said and isn't talked about much.)

Just some alt a-spec flags c:

I made these a while ago but never posted them.

The first 2 flag formats are based off of these analt-spec and anae-spec flags. Except using light orange for asen-spec, and yellow for apl-spec. There are other nice flags for them already, but I like it when things match, so I made these to go with the analt and anae -spec flags in the same format. You can just use whichever you prefer.

For aqp-spec, I do like my teal aqp-spec flag a lot, but I also see a lot of people use yellow+pink for aqp flags (like with microlabels for example), so I thought I should make a yellow+pink version too for those who want it. Again, there already exist other yellow+pink aqp-spec flags, but I wanted one that matched the other a-spec flags more (ace-spec, aro-spec, and apl-spec examples). The yellow and pink colours come from the aqp flag, and put into a gradient format to represent the spectrum part of the identity.

I feel like I hardly see ppl talk about being atertiary... I wish ppl talked about being atertiary more !!! I feel like apl is the only atertiary spectrum identity ppl even mention most of the time,, and I wish more ppl even talked abt anaesthetic, asensual, afamilial, aqueerplatonic, etc., as someone who's apothitertiary and atertiary in literally every way.

Propeestplatonic, Propeestalterous, Propeestsensual, Propeestaquaplatonic, and Propeestqueerplatonic Alt. Flags

Propeest- : An aspec identity which feels like a mix of many (any more than two aspec identities) that all are a part of your identity. From the Latin words “prope est” (meaning close to).

In order, each aspec identity is Aplatonic, Non/Analterous, Asensual, Aquaplatonic, and Aqueerplatonic.

Using my Propeestsexual / Propeestace and Propeestromantic / Propeestaro flag layouts but for the other existing Propeest- terms (plus Aquaplatonic) with flags!

I tried to blend and darken each color on the flags to get one (or in Propeestaqp's case, two) unified color(s) for each identity.

Possible alternative names for each (in order) are Propeestapl, Propeestnonalt, Propeestnonalt, Propeestasen, Popeestaquapla, and Propeestaqp.

you're lucky, it seems there's eight. recently, @ryanyflags designed four flags for it, namely aqpspike: link1, link2 (each post has two different flags).

There's also another one, but I could only find an emoji (link).

And there are three I found on @pride-color-schemes's DeviantArt: link1, link2, link3 (but with the name aqueerplatonispike).

It seems that they have another flag I couldn't find in dA, but luckily this Korean wiki (link4) has all theirs.

However, if you, like me, do not like platonicism and are plato-repulsed, and/or queerplatonic-repulsed, thus don't want the label of qpr, you can literally just say sexual relationship or committed sexual relationship. Im repulsed by qprs but am in committed sexual relationships. You don't have to use the label qpr if you don't want to

Alloaro culture is wanting a similar word to qpr for a committed partner you have sex with sometimes that is not romantic: qpr isn’t right because it has the word platonic in it.

from the POV of someone who's been around the aro community since ~2013-2014 on tumblr, the only time i've seen folks start to say that qprs couldn't include sexual components has been when

they've learned an incorrect definition of QPRs, or

in one particularly notable case, the individual proposing it turned out to be quite sex negative and upset at the mere thought that people could think that qprs could include sexual activity. this individual suggested an alternative term for individuals desiring sex in QPRs in a rather explicitly alloarophobic measure. when gently called out from what had seemed to be a genuine attempt at coining a new term, the above came to light. smaller cases of this pop up every once in a while, but this one got some notoriety.

queerplatonic was always meant to mean "queering the idea of a platonic relationship", "queering the idea of what a relationship means", and by explicit definition, has always been broadly and radically inclusive. any relationship, so long as the partners involved agree it is a queerplatonic one, is queerplatonic. no exceptions. this can mean it involves romance, sex, traditionally platonic elements, and anything and everything those involved desire out of it.

tldr; the word platonic is in queerplatonic to say it is counter to the idea of a restricted "platonic" relationship.

Redesign of the Atertiary flag

colors are based on colors from some atertiary label flags, some are inverse color of colors representing tertiary attraction. Redesign because as an atertiary person I really don't like how the older atertiary flag is just tertiary attraction flag with a black stripe slapped onto it.
