He loves to sit with me while I work.

When I work with my tarot or oracle cards, he likes to show up. Unannounced. Sitting at the edge of my bed, turned back to look over my computer and watch. Sometimes he'll comment on how focused I look, or help with interpretations. Most of the time though, he just watches.

When I'm going to and fro, he likes to talk to me and ramble on and on about whatever. Sometimes, I do the talking and he listens. He likes to compliment the glow of my skin, the brown of my eyes, and the scowl on my face as I, a New Yorker, walk through the city streets. It's almost customary, here.

When I relax on the beach, watching the sunset, he likes to watch, too. Sure, it's basically him watching himself do his job, but he enjoys watching with me. Or watching my friends and I do our photoshoot, occasionally pitching in and commenting. He finds it entertaining.

Or when it's late and I'm up far beyond when I should be, soaking in the peace and quiet of the house, he likes to check in on me. He asks me how I'm doing, how I'm holding up. If he thinks I need to rest, he tells me so. If he thinks there's something that I'd enjoy, he tells me so. If he thinks I should meditate, I do.

Lord Apollo has been my rock, through it all. He makes me feel warm, safe, and comfortable. He makes me feel secure. There has never been an instance where He has shown up and I feel like he'll harm me. He's absolutely delightful, a joy, and a goofball.

And I feel so incredibly complete with him around.

☀ When I was younger, like, elementary school, I did a painting in my art class for a competition and whoever had the best one would get their still life put up in an art gallery. I remember asking the sun to let me win, and I won :) ☀ My dad has recently started telling me about how he's always believed I was a spiritual person. And when I ask him why, he tells me about how I always manage to manifest thing that I want for myself, no matter what. The middle / highschool I went to? I went to because fifth grade Robyn wanted to prove I was better than my brother, who got rejected. And I got in. University? I got rejected from, like, 6 of them and waitlisted by my dream. The school I'm at now? Like, a perfect fit for me. Dad says it's a gift I've had since I was a kid.

☀ Deja vu moments ALL. THE. TIME. and now, here I am, working to specialize in prophecy.
