I really really wanna expand on my "shadow knights but zombie" headcanon/au/rewrite.

Far waring this is graphic and like, cannibalism. So be aware lol.

To start with shadow knight that die in the nether and their body's are easy to get back are the easiest to bring to life. Those like Sasha who died in lava or those who died in the overworld like Gene are much harder to initiate but not impossible.

I'll talk about them later.

When one shadow knight is made, shad pulls their soul away from the gates or black void we saw with zane or whatever. That afterlife isn't what's important, but I will talk about it another day.

Then he puts their soul back into their dead body which is just fucking painful. Then, every shadow knight around goes into a feeding frenzy on command of the shadow lord. They literally go feral for a point and they rip into the body of the newest shadow knight. They fight over the body and eat them down to the bone. Not even joking, everything. The new shadow knight is aware for all of it. Not fun stuff.

Then, shad, in all his power, uses parts from every existing shadow knight in the room to recreate the body of the newest shadow night and boom. Body back. Now, it's meant to suit your soul to perfection, which means scars are still there and more horrifyingly, so bite scars from your initiation might also be there depending on how it affected you. Most people have them.

That's the physical transformation. Now the mental/emotional one is more isolated than anything. You're like a wild animal who needs to eat. It's bad. When they bring you food, you snap and tare and can't control it. You're hungry and angry and can't think more than food. Need food.

It's bad. They use a whole bunch or painful methods to bring you to "sanity." In the end, you feel less human than before but more human than when it started.

Laurance being obsessed with aphmau is actually a tactic they used. It was a way for them to basically go "think of someone. someone who makes you feel human. Feel happy. Feel alive." And the people you latch onto to keep yourself from falling into the depths of madness is usually the one who you are required to kill to become immortal.

Now, for those who don't have body's to put their soul into shad uses the body of one of the many people shadow knights kill. The stuff that happened in the Neapolitan villages? Yeah, he was recruiting that guy via saying, "Hey, bring us food, and I'll make you one of us." So when there is no body, they bring body's from the overworld to do it with. This can be messy bc sometimes, rarely, features from the body that was stolen can show through after the transformation. Ie birthmarks, scars, chunks of hair color, maybe eye color, your teeth could change, vocal differences, tattoos, etc.

And to tie it all off. When a shadow knight is fully transformed, they have a mark that develops on their back to signify their shadow knight status.

But since laurance was taken out before his transformation was do he's got issues like rotting body parts, rigor mortis, his eyes are fucked bc those are the first things to go when someone dies. Etc, etc, etc..

Sso in my scifi au, Vylad is going to be half alien and essentially an information broker. He is the one who originally found Aphmaus restoration pod. (Given how she is a clone formed from he DNA of a mysterious alien). Garte was going to use her to essentially try and not only solve THE RED (Shadow Knight zombie parasite) and takeover the galaxy, as power hungry men do.

Here is Vylads major plot points in my scifi au

- He is the product of an affair between his mother and an unknown alien species. While Vylad can be human passing, it was still obvious that he was an affair child. Garte covered up the alien features because Zianna having an affair with a human is a lot better than her having an affair with an alien.

- Zianna did willingly get pregnant because she wanted a baby, her own child that wasn't going to be twisted by Garte. Garroth was already 9 and at "private military school" (human experimentation) and Zane was always following his father because his health prevented him from going to school. (His body rejected experimentation so Garte decided to make him an heir)

- Vylad lived happily under their mothers care for many many years. Given how Zianna refused to tell Garte what type of alien Vylad was, he couldn't experiment and since his wife was happy he left Vylad alone. Until it did get out that Vylad was part alien and he had to "deal with the problem"

- Zianna, seeing the assanation attempt coming a mile away decided to use it to her advantage and made it so Vylad wouldn't die but get sent away. So she staged her own much earlier accident where Vylad ship would be lost on transit and crashed on a planet resulting in the death of her baby. The plan worked, until it didn't.

- The shuttle she sent to receive Vylad's captain worked on a planet that had recently been in a planet infested with THE RED, and it had spread throughout the crew. When Vylad was picked up, they were also infected and before you knew it, a bloodbath had begun.

- The majority of the crew turned on each other with the exception of Vylad and a cabin boy, Zenix. The two were the only ones who had a resistance the full affects of the red and eventually had to team up and slaughter the rest of the cabin.

- The ship did get to its destination and Vylad and Zenix quickly went their separate ways, not wanting a reminder of what they went through. That is when Vylad became employed by his mothers old friend, a cybernetics expert Hyria who used Vylads ability to blend into the background to gain information. Then he quickly became an information broker with the goal of taking down Garte with the help of Hyria.

- He soon gained word about Zane hiring the S.S. Phoenix Drop to transport a weapon of mass destruction and decided to turn the tides. He intercepted the message and arrived at the warehouse keeping the weapon to discover it was Aphmau. So he decided to mess with fate and killed the previous captain of the Phoenix Drop (who had been feeding information about Garroth to Zane) and made it seem like Aphmau was supposed to join the crew.

- He hires Zenix when they meet up again to be a 3 way spy. Hired him to spy on Zane and Garroth while also feeding Zane false information. Betraying Zane and Garroth but also not betraying Garroth.

Absolutely you can, and thank you for doing so!!

Drop of Sunlight is the first work in my greater Minecraft Diaries rewrite series called Doomed By A Narrative, and will recount the story from Garroth's point of view from pre-canon to post-canon. Each following story, a few of which I've mentioned before like Loyalty of Memory and Spirit of Sin would be in the same vein with various different characters.

A lot of changes are being made to the world in which DoS takes place (including a full pantheon of gods worshiped prior to the Divine Warriors, several new countries, a whole cast of side characters from the rest of the aphverse and in-depth exploration of backstories of the main cast) so the story will end up very different to canon but I'm hoping to hit most of the main plot points. So much has been changed in fact that I'm currently rewriting the first chapter a third time so we start much earlier than the night Anastasia (the Shard of Irene became the MCD version of Aphmau) first appeared in Phoenix Drop and can lay some groundwork.

In DoS as it is currently being written, we start before Garroth falls into the responsibility of being commander of the Phoenix Drop guard. Zenix is in the middle of recovering from the wounds he had when Garroth first found him in the forest, and Garroth takes him on as his apprentice when his commander tells him something has to be done about his boy. Though he's spent a few years here, Garroth doesn't feel particularly at home in the guard. He stumbles into becoming head guard when the Lord is killed and shortly after his commander disappears, leaving the entire guard off-balanced and increasingly afraid as the people of the village begin blaming the guard for both the death and disappearance, and he does everything he can to keep the village together as it declines even though he never wanted to be in any position of power like the way he practically reigns now ever again. He's basically head guard and lord for an entire year, and as the cold starts to set in for the coming winter a maiden who speaks and acts oddly appears at the edge of town one stormy night, claiming to have been chasing a man, and in the morning all signs of both are gone. Garroth tries to continue business as usual, eventually Anastasia starts living in town instead of dipping in and out like she's the local cryptid, and from there we'll try to find a path between the main plot points.

I also like to add moments from canon that are minor or cast aside, like Garroth chasing Vylad in S1E1 and Brendan startling Aph into eating zombie brains, and NPCs like Kent the Guard who I'm sure no one will remember because he is not one of the Minecraft Comes Alive NPCs that become characters later on, whose hand I cut off because he was once involved in a fight with zombies. So sorry, Kent.

There is so much I want to do with Drop of Sunlight and the series overall, more than I think I could put in just this ask, and I'm so excited to see where it ends up!

I am aiming for magical realism or high fantasy, and I will warn you now that I am not going to be gentle with this story. Injuries will not be pretty, wars will be written out more or less in full (you can read Wagers of War here, which is actually an AU of Drop of Sunlight, for an idea of what that'll be like), and the politics and relationship drama and the idea of personal faith being turned on oneself as a weapon will run throughout.

If you have any questions about specific characters, aspects of worldbuilding or scenes please do ask, I will yap about this for ages if given half a chance.

Genshin au

I had a different genshin au for this fandom but i’m changing it drastically, just overhauling the fucking thing.

Aphmau is Celestia

(We going more mcd than my previous one which was mystreet (but more mystreet dynamics) but we’re keeping some of the things like shadow knight fatui or we could go shadow knight adepti)

The archons:

Aaron - Pyro archon of war [but he hates it) (previous pyro archon was Shad (see where i’m going with this?))

Travis - Electro archon of Knowledge (previous electro archon was Enki)

Zane - Hydro archon of Judgement (previous hydro archon was Esmund)

As for the other archons I'm not so sure. I was tossing around the idea of Dendro archon Vylad and tbh I may keep it. And Garroth could maybe be either cryo archon or another hydro archon but more mist and vapour yaknow?

The "adepti/knights of favonius" inclined

The jury - Them being called the jury is literally the only reason I kept hydro archon being the god of judgement and justice yaknow.

Katelyn - Cryo or Pyro (I can not decide and at this moment I might give her both)

Ivy - Dendro because she gets to make poisons

Jeffery - Geo. If you have somethibg to do with heart or will in your name my mind will go either geo or anemo.

The Shadow Knights - I feel like either the Pyro 'adepti' or the fatui would fit.

Laurance - Pyro. I can't imagine him with a different element and I am not sorry.

Gene - Anemo. I want you to know that he is the main point towards Fatui! Shadow Knights. Dante and Gene would end up being a Teucer n Ajax relationship almost

Lucinda - It was tempting to go pyro or electro but I will always remember her moving a tower and creating platforms first and foremost so it's geo! Lucinda for me.

Dante - Hydro, easily. Do you know how cool those visuals would be. Twins swords as he spins creating tails of water to fire at people.

Nana - this one was hard so as a kast minute decision I decided to go pyro for cremation cause I'm making her the designated weirdo who likes death. Her whole arc in mcd season 1? Hello... perfect necromancy material and Hu Tao is right there to steal the shtick from.

Kim - For now, I'm not giving her a vis- CRYO. She's the Qiqi. Well ghosts exist in thw spirirt world but like Zombie! Kim ya feel me?

Melissa - Pyro but like smoke and smog. She's the mist to Aaron's flame.

Cadenza - Is it too obvious if I make her pyro just because of her hair?

lately i’ve been thinking of a sorta zombie apocalypse au for the mcd / mys cast?

ITS LIKE. okay it’s hard to sorta explain because my thoughts are at a constant 400 mph so it’s hard for me to coherently put my thoughts together. it isn’t original tbh but i just rlly like zombie apocalypse stuff and mcd is living in my head rent free so.

it’s small ideas such as:

zane being the leader of a stronghold town that’s extremely closed off and refuses to take any new people usually. he’d be extremely protective of his town and is the type to go on a “my people are alive because i use any means necessary to keep them away from people like you.” kinda monologue.

the idea of aphmau and zoey travelling together with two kids (levin and malachi) trying to find a home because their previous town was either taken over by infected or a gang/organization. and they arrive at a small safe town that’s barely holding together with garroth as its new leader.

the equivalent of “phoenix drop” is a group of people who were taken in by Leader (tm). they were liked because no one usually takes anyone in due to fear that someone might be infected or not enough materials. they settled in a small abandoned town and barely scraped by. garroth was one of the first people they took in and quickly became their most trusted friend/right hand man. this is why when they suddenly die (or suddenly murdered) garroth is the one in charge out of nowhere.

my idea for laurence and shadow knights in general are ppl who’ve been experimented on by The Organization (tm) using the virus to make a cure but somehow have become superhuman who ocassionally get mini temper tantrums and the occasional cannibalism :D i think laurence might’ve been someone who escaped and stumbled into town.

OH MY GOD HEAR ME OUT. okay so what if the organization was looking for “soldiers” to help with a “Clean Up” of infected. garroth and vylad, part of the ro’meave family, were sent in bc they were the most physcally capable and bc it’s an honor to work for The Organization (tm) while zane was forced to stay and take care of the city. garroth would be given a high rank in the group while vylad would’ve been a normal soldier since garte doesn’t really think too highly of him to give him a rank nor let him control a town of people.

due to this, vylad was one of the soldiers chosen for an experiment, along with laurence etc. ofc garroth didnt know this and instead was told he disappeared. i think he did eventually find out about the whole experiment thing bc he couldn’t believe vylad was just gone (either out of grief or had his own suspicions). when he went apeshit, they tried to placate him by saying “he wanted to do this” and then decided to just drop a bomb that vylad is dead. 

i just imagine a scene of garroth standing at the lab’s “morgue” and watching them open a bag, seeing vylad’s “body” and just the look of devastation and misery on his face.

anyway, he ends up going “fuck this shit” and leaves The Organization (tm) but ofc not before committing some arson out of revenge, making him a wanted criminal by The Organization.

ofc, vylad isn’t dead, it was just a trick by the org to get garroth off their back only to completely lose him. (which i feel like isn’t something such a strong org would make such a mistake but this au’s for the shits and giggles and my own indulgence.) i think he and laurence actually planned an escape together but ended up separated

SO IMAGINE. laurence stumbling into this town, he’s growling and shit bc of the negative side effect of the experiment and garroth runs out, hearing shocked screams from people, only to see a familiar ginger hunched over looking half dead. he points a gun at the person and when they meet eyes it’s just “..laurence?” “garroth?!” LOSING IT I LOVE REUNION SCENES LIKE THIS

The funny thing: the end of the world didn’t happen all at once.

No, in actuality, he—like everybody else—watched as the world they knew slowly but surely get devoured by the End. Denial and delayed panic was what killed society, he remembered Laurance would say; how so many of them didn’t want to see, so they all played and clung to the words of those in higher power would sort this out.

This isn’t some regular ‘crisis’. Fucking look—those shots were definitely going through and they keep getting back up, keep walking.

The video was freaky. Some nondescript warzone, far far away his little off-campus apartment, as bulky soldiers took aim at a tattered-clothed woman who limped with a lifeless gait. The noise was almost hard to pick up between the gun shots, but low, gut-twisting moan, animalistic and inhuman coming from the woman. The video continued, the woman finally goes down but where she falls, descended from alleys and further down the road.

He shouldn’t be scrolling through comments, because they always unnerved him more than the video himself. People chiming in and linking posts, more videos, foreign articles, etc. of ‘proof’ that whatever was going down overseas wasn’t another exotic disease to spook flyers from traveling out of the country.

He clicked another tab, scrolling over his timeline—and it’s like another mind frame, people peacefully oblivious and instead enthusing about how excited they were for the upcoming summer, their plans, rants about some T.V. show. Maybe they’re like him, quietly reading and researching and losing sleep over the possibility of a horror movie scenario come to life. Maybe they didn’t care. He glanced at the notification of a new direct message, from a smiling woman, though her smile was reserved, with blue hair and giving a peace sign as her icon.

He wasn’t completely alone in this. Finding weird solace from a person he didn’t think he would find, the serious looking Katelyn from the theatre course they taken in fall together—clicking the message, she linked a couple of articles with a following message:

In the dark, only lit by his phone screen, Travis chuckled.

He clicked the articles she sent.

They were all the same; different politicians who say Nothing to worry about yet their actions show the opposite, as ‘outbreaks’ of ‘riots’, cities declaring state of emergency and quick federal government actions. Small time local news who report who uptick in rabid cases were reported and safety precautions to watch out any animals who could carry the disease. As well as Mayor Malik updated the curfew, initiating tomorrow at midnight.

Their friendship blooming out over paranoia over the possible end wasn’t what he had in mind when he stumbled across her late night links to some strange and obscure website five months back. She deleted them an hour later but… it didn’t stop him or his big mouth from asking, “What the hell was that last night.”

There was a moment of embarrassment flash in her eyes, her shoulders squaring in a defensive position as she turned herself fully towards him. “Do you really want to know?” Her tone asked a different question, one trying to gauge how serious he was. He nodded.

And it went down from there.

She didn’t say they were friends, but soon their discussion over the weird things they dug up turned to casual talk—and the causal talk, in real life and online, turned into something every day. It almost became their thing, as they started to withdraw from other people. They chatted about what if scenarios, plans and as the months showed more, more and more cases of this epidemic, they started to stockpile supplies.

Travis hummed, acutely aware of the way his smile widen and the turn-around with his mood.

He stared at the message longer than needed, as if doing so would decipher a hidden message. It didn’t—but it was worth a shot, pun intended. Lately, despite the possible end of the world being imminent that spurred this doom-prepping fanaticism within them, he wondered if she was catching the hints.

Of course, their friendship was sincere. As well as his panic and general anxiety about the stately affairs of the world.

He was but a person, nonetheless. And sometimes, shallow feelings turned into actual feelings saddled up next to that friendship borne of strange circumstance. True, he was scared to gamble away what they got—but the curiosity took hold like a cat.

I am Recently very much in the Band Ghost fan base as a little “newbie“ and found many wholesome stories on tumblr which lead to me making an account and now posting myself on here, though it might not be as good as many other people on this app/website/platform, truth be told i have not yet listened to every ghost song there is and have yet to catch up on a lot of the Lore.

Now, I take Requests for Writing as i wanna improve my story writing and saw that a few ghouls were very underrated, such as Mountain, who i only really saw was written in smuts/nsfw/lemons here, or Cirrus, Cumulus and Sunshine, i have yet not found a single story about those ghoulettes or maybe its because i am really fucking blind, anywho, moving on!

Yeah, it‘s a lot, a ton fucking lot that i know of, many of those Movies or Series i have not watched through making it hard to recall on many of them, i had to literally look up TV show and Anime Lists to refresh my memory and i know its yet still not done, but this is so far the most i can tell and i am happy to know about your guy‘s request as to what i sha‘ll write in the near future, if this should ever happen, i am happy to say that i am Glad to be on Tumblr as not many people seem to use it anymore.

The roleplay can be completely platonic or include romance! But remember; if you want to include romance between two or more YouTube stars, you must be aware that it is a fictional situation and the pairing is not something to obsess over. OCs are welcome, too! I'll gladly play as one of your comfort stars for a character and I can play as more than one character at a time!

Now, let me share my plot ideas with you!

Plot #1: Among Us

Ten YouTubers are placed in a virtual reality simulation for a full 48 hours. In this simulation, the team of ten is placed on a spacecraft by the government and sent off to search for alien life. The problem is; two of the crewmates amongst them are already aliens, hungry killers at that. Character A is an imposter who actually feels guilty about the mayhem they have to cause, especially since they can hear and see the ghosts of those they've killed. Character B is an innocent crewmate who anxiously sides with Character A and the two team up until Character B finally becomes suspicious. But just as Character B tries to get away..Character A brings them down. Now Character A is haunted by their ghost until the end of the simulation.

Plot #2: Angels and Demons

Character A is a beast known as a fallen angel. Fallen Angels are forced out of heaven for supposed wrongdoings, and in this case, Character A is framed for a murder that they did not commit. This turns Character A into a cold-blooded bastard who doesn't trust anyone, not even the demons they're forced to live amongst now. Meanwhile, Character B was sent to hell completely on accident. Their friend attempted to summon a demon, which required a sacrifice. Character B became said sacrifice and ended up here as a supposed punishment for assisting in the summoning. When Character B meets Character A, they try to help the fallen angel go back to their positive ways so the two can go back to heaven together.

Plot #3: Band AU

Character A is the lead singer of a band that they created with their two best friends. One of those best friends is Character B, who has never sang for the band before, but has been secretly writing song lyrics and singing when they're alone. When Character A doesn't notice that Character B is trying to get their attention with their own songs, Character B goes to one of the members of the band's tour group for comfort. Character A becomes jealous, seeing Character B with another person, and decides to write a song about them, not knowing that all Character B wants is to be in the spotlight just once.

Plot #4: My Hero

Character A has been living a peaceful life in their apartment in the city for a few years now. But when Character B moves in next door, things take a sudden and unexpected turn. It gets to a point where Character A can hear yelling and banging on the walls every night and actually becomes concerned for Character B's safety. However, when Character A goes to confront Character B, they claim that they're not in any danger, despite living with a partner with anger issues. And the worst part is..Character B has a young child, an infant that's caught up in this mess too. Character A is determined to get both Character B and their child out of their abusive home and to help them recover.

Plot #5: Wolf Pack AU

In Mystery Falls, there's a large, dense forest that consists of four different wolf packs. Each pack owns their own area of land and isn't allowed to infiltrate any of the other territories without permission. But all of these wolves have a secret..they're actually a species known as Lycans. Lycans have both a human and a wolf form. They're identified as Alpha, Omega or Beta, based on their gender and sexual orientation. Each pack of Lycans has an Alpha leader, an Omega queen, and a Beta guard leader. The guard is the group of wolves that goes hunting with the Alpha every half-moon. Character A is the Alpha leader and after a fire occurs across their previous territory, not only is the pack forced to move, but the leader loses their partner and their pups. This makes them a stern leader, who shows no mercy and treats others like they don't mean as much to the pack. Character B is originally just a human, but after being attacked by another pack leader, they find themselves turning into a Lycan and come across Character A's pack, asking for their help. Character A originally insists upon turning Character B away, until the pack decides that Character B can act as a temporary queen until Character A gets another mate. Character A ends up finding a new friendship in Character B, and the two slowly become inseparable.

Plot #6: Zombie Apocalypse

Character A had just been arrested after being framed for the murder of a stranger. While on their way to jail in the back of a police car, something slams into the windshield and the vehicle crashes on the side of the road. When Character A wakes up from being unconscious, they find the police officer that was driving the car is now dead and that they're surrounded by..zombies. Character A manages to get rid of their handcuffs, finds a weapon and gets to work on shooting away at the zombies crawling around them. Once they can make a run for it, they escape into the nearest house, which appears to be abandoned. But it's not abandoned. Character B is a child that was abandoned by their parents and is hiding in the treehouse right outside of the abandoned home. The home was actually invaded by zombies, and Character B's parents are..dead. Character A begrudgingly gains Character B's trust and the two become traveling partners as they try to survive the zombie apocalypse.

Plot #7: Superhero AU

Character A is the hero of the city. A masked and mysterious character that everyone admires because of their strength and bravery. Character B is a new villain who has come to destroy the city and leaves their trail for Character A to find. The two would never admit it out loud, but they actually enjoy playing their little game of cat and mouse together. When Character A ends up in trouble due to the wrongdoings of another bad guy, they're much surprised to find that Character B is there to save them. That's when Character A realizes that Character B isn't so bad after all and is now determined to teach Character B how to be a good person, despite the fact that Character B runs away every time Character A comes across them.

Plot #8: Littlespace

Character A has been a caregiver for a few different age regressors over the years. They love taking care of those who are vulnerable and are in need of a new way to cope. However, none of the age regressors they've ever cared for have stuck around for a long time. The previous littles have only relied on Character A until they found someone else to take care of them. So when Character B, one of Character A's closest friends, reaches out with an interest in learning more about what it's like to age regress, Character A is shocked but more than happy to be the best caregiver possible for their friend.
