I personally adore my redesign of her, I like to think she had absolutely big puffy as fuck hair, like PinkiePie levels, and I like to draw her very tall for some reason. I love all the designs of her short as fuck, but my rewrite kc has always been a lanky gal, for some reason.

I also this it was a missed oppertunity to give her little fairy assistants. I know they were dolls she brought to life with her magic, I still keep that but also, FAIRY ASSISTANTS!! Little pixie girls she dresses up and have collects fruits and flowers for her!

And also yes I was such a big sucker for Damien in mys and his and KC's relationship that I made them end game in mcd. I'm normal about them.

Kc's hair isn't graying in the second pic, I just realized I had forgotten to make her vitiligo affect her hair, so I guess see it as if the vitiligo doesn't reach/affect her scalp till some time around season 2

I just don’t find him all that interesting, he’s one of the many characters Jess makes important for like a season and just drops, the only reason we remember him is his connection to Aphmau. Had he done this to any other character and cut his screen time by like a quarter we’d have another Damien.

As a simultaneous Aphmau fan, and bassist, I feel it’s only fair I expand on this beloved headcanon.

Gene, in my opinion, is 100% a Schecter enjoyer. I specifically can see him jamming out on the Mephisto King Ov hell Signature. With its intricate religious inlays, black finish, and “Devil horned” headstock, I think it’s perfect for him.

At first I was thinking the Schecter Banshee, because, haha, banshee. But thats a short scale, and Gene strikes me as a large hands kinda dude, so, 5 string ✨ Plus, the Banshee to me is more of a Sasha bass if anything, especially in the white scheme.

Maybe as other options for Gene he could use a Damien Platinum-5, I feel the bat fret inlays are a him move, but the matte simplistic body design isn’t.

Hellraiser Extreme-5 is another shout, not only due to its name but its colour scheme screams Shadow Knight, the inlays too are similar to the Mephisto King, just without the chaos shield on the 12th. But the “p-bass” styled body just doesn’t compete with the Mephisto King.

Thank you for listening to my rant. The question we now ignore is; how did Gene afford this?

I guess the real question is who I wanna see go crazy on the drums more, Sasha or Zenix, and that is a very difficult question for me.. Zenix is the obvious choice, but imagine Sasha like CMON

Hello returning Zana/ZaneChan anon here lmao.

Although I adore this pairing and would go to the ends of the earth for them, I wish we could've seen them be fleshed out more by having them date other people before they get together. Especially Zane. I feel like we could have had a neat opportunity in S3 to explore both Zane and Nana at the same time possibly developing some kind of feelings for one another and then finding other relationships to avoid said feelings. Although they're good people who have good intentions, let them make morally gray/selfish decisions about romance and the relationships in their lives! Nana dating Damien (or Dante. He could be equally interesting imo) could've been a great opportunity to explore her POV and how she handles relationships before we see her and Zane together. We could see the quirks and character flaws she has that rise up in relationships and how she tries to unhealthily cope with them in other relationships before she gets with Zane who could help her confront those problems instead of avoiding them. And vice versa for Zane! How interesting would it be to see him develop feelings for someone else (possibly Kiki?) and have him genuinely care for this other person but it's so obvious that his heart isn't fully there. And have him confront that part of himself who's so deep in denial!! Maybe this partner recognizes this part of Zane and decides to end things amicably. Although Zane would agree with the breakup, let him grieve the loss of such a deep romantic connection and grow from this experience!! Let's have good characters make flawed decisions and grow from their flaws!! And I think the mutual breakups Zane and Nana would have with their respective partners could make their eventual get-together way more investing!! Especially since Zane doesn't take rejection well! They'd care so much and so deeply for each other but they're scared to ruin a great friendship. And maybe that's why they'd have such an impulsive first kiss because they're just acting on impulse after pining for so long! Idk I think it could've been a good opportunity for some character growth (and a way to give Zane something to do in S3 aside from clinging/being an incel to Aphmau 24/7 :/)

Going off the tags Zana was such an interesting ship bc it was one of the first times we actually got lore for Nana, being serious here she barely gets any lore in MCD and finding out she was a shadow of all of her siblings does the weird shipping thing bc she craves love is so interesting???? (Weird way of showing that your loved starved but ok)

Also I think people say that it was also forced is just strange bc the first ever “Zana” moment we see is in LLP when Nana and him bump into each other and are both visibly flustered. And there relationship develops more in Lovers Lane.

I think what really set the ship in motion was at the Con when Her and Damien broke up. In the scene she drops her whole “cute act” completely and Zane doesn’t even realize it.

The problem is that after comes the Emerald Secret where the plot kicks in and we forget all about that development in favor of Aphmau and Aaron. Aphmau’s year they have a moment where Zane talks about being under a forever potion, but instead of them having a moment Zane starts talking about how Aphmau had it worst. Which ok fair but like talk about what happened to you dude.

(There’s several arguments to be made in how most of the characters lose great moments bc of Aphmau and Aaron needing to be the main characters but that’s a rant for another day)

I think the blackmail thing was weird as well cause that could have easily been rewritten to have some of Nana’s family on the island. Maybe she went with them and it’s just a huge coincidence or maybe not.

But op is just the most interesting scenes in the Starlight season come from Zane and Nana and them being awkward even thought they like each other is interesting as well. But after Starlight comes When Angles Fall so we don’t have any time to focus on there moments bc the plot is going on. Zane and Nana would have been a more interesting ship if we always didn’t have to focus on Aphmau and Aaron.

TL;DR: Zane and Nana are a good ship it’s just they don’t have time to develop bc the plot kicks in.
