I need to rant about horror thingies

Quick cw/tw for topic of abusive relationships and murder. Also cw for imagery of blood and neck wound and eye contact I think

So uhh was thinking about my old creepypasta phase and thought "haha what if I made an aphmau horror-ish au haha" and yeah this happened

Basically FCU era Aaron breaks up with Jenny but ends up getting with Cathy because he's hella inexperienced on love in general and Aphmau isn't there cause she got her angel powers too early and was yoinked into a lab. Also Derek isn't there because uhh he sucks and is irrelevant.

Unsurprisingly Cathy is toxic af and the relationship is abusive. Aaron realizes this at some point and he tries to talk but they have a big fight and he just ends up going back to his dorm for the night. But mf forget to lock his door in the heat of storming in and Cathy sneaks up behind him and fuckgin kills him with a knife to the throat and literally breaks his neck because "if I can't have you nobody can" bs she's insane.

Homegirl goes off to hide her evidence but SURPRISE Aaron's Ultima genes (Black Beast in this case cause headcanon) go "naw hoe get yo ass back up" and he basically ends up killing Cathy because rage but then gets upset because "oh my god wtf am I now I just murdered someone" so he runs away and travels as an undead cryptid

Damn. Cathy really got the short end of the stick. She was supposed to be the main antagonist of Falcon Claw but she didn't reveal herself to be the one behind bullying Aphmau and spreading the rumor about her until the actual last episode and she's dealt with immediately.

The whole rumors and bullying of Aphmau was a major plot point that sorta just. Got dropped? In favor of Aaron getting more screentime WITH HIS OWN ANTAGONIST XAVIER. Like. Aaron got an actual threat to deal with alongside his mistake of agreeing to date Jenny even though he didn't like her.

Like, Xavier is cool and all and I like him and think he's a brat and he DOES set up for the Ultima plot line but... I think Cathy should've also been given the amount of screen time Xavier got. Gotten more time to be an antagonist. You can reveal it to the audience she's evil and not the the characters. Make her seem more manipulative. Make her more gaslighty or something idk.

Cathy was just a Yandere obessed with Aaron (and for some stupid reason revealed all of her misdeeds to him instead of trying to manipulate him like she has been doing with everyone else but that's because they needed to put the blame on a dropped plot line and she was just there) BUT IT COULD'VE BEEN SOMETHING COOL LIKE. Healthy ways to deal with crushes vs Unhealthy ways to deal with crushes. Like, that's a neat little lesson to teach to your child audience.

Oh well. What's done is done.

Why do I always brag about how I love girls, I am so gay geez

Okay I won’t write fcu for a while. That’s probably expected.

And like

It’s not my favourite season, but it’s the one that’s stuck with me the most for reasons I don’t even know.

So I get a lot of ideas for it.

And just…

I want Aphmau to have a crush on Aaron at the start. And it upsets her that she has feelings for him, but she can’t exactly change them. So she deals with it and just… accepts that she’s into him. But she doesn’t meet him, not early on at least. At first she just knows Jenny, and she knows a bit about Cathy though she’s never seen her because Jenny likes to talk a lot. She thinks Jenny is sweet, but she starts feeling a little embarrassed when Jenny and some of the older girls start bragging about their boyfriends, and in an attempt to fit in she lies and claims to have one too.

She sort of just describes Aaron’s personality and a few vague facts about his appearance (His hair, probably one of her favourite things about Him, his eyes, how he smiled, how he would always be covered in metallic ink because he would get too distracted around her and she wouldn’t be able to help herself) just enough to make it believable, and obviously the girls fall for it. They had no reason to believe she was lying. But of course, Jenny likes to talk. She ends up telling Aaron about this girl she knows and her boyfriend who sounds super sweet. And then he sort of recognises a few things to be similar to ways Aphmau has described him in the past. He asks for this friends name, and Jenny tells him. He was correct, of course, but Jenny asks him why he wanted her name. He lies and says it just sounded like she was describing a friend of his, and goes out in search for Aphmau.

He finds her and teases her about using him as her imaginary boyfriend, only mentioning that he knows Jenny and not that he’s dating her. Aphmau admits and is super embarrassed, but he assures her she shouldn’t be and that he gets it. He then invites her out with his friends and she agrees. Only to be greeted with the view of Aaron and Jenny being a bit too close when she arrives to the hangout spot. Jenny is thrilled she’s there but Aphmau actually starts feeling a bit down. She thought that Aaron asking her to hang out was maybe a chance for her to restart things with him, but really, he was already in a relationship. And that sucks for her.

Which would eventually lead to aphmau having to scramble to make up a lie when she starts dating Zoey, because, of course, they’re convinced she’s got a boyfriend.
