Thinking about how a lot of the aphmau characters had favorite things that I wished was discussed more (both in the series and in fandom discussions) like for example Garroth’s favorite video game being Legend of Zelda and how he even cosplayed as Link in Mystreet Season 1 Anime Convention. Another example being Laurance’s interest in the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Like does that mean he’s kind of a metalhead? I love hearing about the characters’ interests and hobbies. It makes them feel like real people with more to them than meets the eye if that makes sense. I know we talk about Zane being a brony a lot but what about the other characters too?

I’m really writing this because Garroth liking Zelda was driving me insane. Someone correct me if I’m wrong but were some of the interests inspired by their actual voice actors’ interests? Like for instance Laurance liking that band, did his VA like it too?

ANYWAYS, garroth liking Zelda just fits because him being a knight in MCD and that translating into Mystreet as him liking those kinds of characters and media. He would have loved A Knight’s Tale (2001). I actually saw someone on instagram say that Heath Ledger in that movie would be their fan-cast for Garroth and I agree. Also saw on twitter a tweet of Aphmau and Garroth having matching Link and Zelda costumes for Halloween. It was so cute!!! Literally them.

So yea, sorry for my little ramble, I just needed to speak about this. I might post this on twitter too since there’s a community there as well. I’ll be posting my old headcanons and AUS to this blog as well!

Another regard to this is that during the end of season six, the only serious injuries that were regarded as serious were Aphmau and Aaron's. Travis was walking fine, which is unrealistic. Kawaii-Chan seemed almost okay, and Zane was extremely alright with his arm being stabbed through, not to mention Lucinda wasn't limping the slightest. The creators surely prioritize them over others, and maybe thats what main characters are for, but main characters aren't supposed to make others seem meaningless but make themselves seem meaningful.

Remember when Garroth had to re-see Ivy in season 2 after years? Instead of showing progression for them to be comfortable around each other or talk about how this may affect them, it turned to a spin-off of Aaron and Aphmau.

Invalid take maybe but throughout the progression of Aphmau's roleplays, characters have gotten less and less exciting as a lot of things have been taken away and put on Aaron's and Aphmau's character, discarding lots of story from the other characters, especially in Mystreet.

For some example, Laurence and Garroth became less interesting because some traits were put into Aaron and Aaron became the new troubled cursed man with issues, which was Laurence's story. Aaron's family problems were looked at deeper than Garroth, who's had family problems from the start.

Travis was more deep, and I'm not saying he isn't anymore, but his character really swallowed, like all the men in the early mystreet seasons. Dante's caring behavior was coming erased and faded away to be just another competitor for Aaron early on.

They all still have their moments, you could say, but most characters that haven't been completely not used in Mystreet have been faded to a background in some way, because Aphmau and Aaron really steal a lot of the spotlight.

The beginning of Minecraft Diaries was all in first person, so it feels so odd that later, which is more 2nd and 3rd person, have been capable of actually lessening the character's depth and perspectives shown.

Glowing Starfish (Stellux Asteroidea) are a species of starfish native to the Luna Keys, a series of islands along the equator which hosts Starlight Wonderland. Native solely to these islands, this species has been protected by the Ru'aunian government since its initial discovery. Coming out only at night, they are most identifiable by their uniquely soft glow which comes from their natural mana-based diet.

The species are also one of the very few monogamous species of starfish and mate for life. If a partner dies, the surviving starfish will not take on another mate, and will usually pass away quickly after their partners. Thus, these unique echinoderms are a local symbol of love and loyalty.
