Hetalia theory- Saint Petersburg

Vladimir always sought to be the best at the best, especially at sports, track in particular. He loved his mother and father dearly, and was more than happy to play sports with his father. He excelled at them, even. This made him popular, and by the time he was in high school, he was being sought out by athletic scouts from Colleges all over the country. This made him try even harder. He had always wanted to compete in the Olympics. However, when he was 15, his mother, who had been told she could never have another child, had a another son. After that, his parents didn’t pay very much attention to him, which made him more determined to succeed. He ended up pushing himself so hard at track, he neglected his friends, his grades, and even his personal health. At one point, he became so desperate, he started taking steroids. What he and his family didn’t know was that he had a minor heart condition that the steroids worsened. Since he was pushing himself so hard physically as well, he ended up collapsing during a match due to a heart complication. He died in the hospital, a few days later.

This explains his competitive nature and short fuse, as well as his jealousy over his brother, Moscow.
