'Babo' or tall T-shaped wooden poles with thatch flags are a unique feature of the Apatani Tribe. They are ceremonially pitched in the eve of the Myoko Festival. Few decades ago young men would perform daring aerial acrobatics using long cane ropes tied to the top of the masts.
