As of right now, the appreciation party after the expedition is just an empty shell; in the past many people attended this party, but due to cost cutting, we have reached the point where we can only serve water and raw potatoes, so the number of attendees are declining. After the cuts, the special appreciation party is continuously afraid that no guests will attend. But tonight, the appreciation party will be different. Are the aot cd dramas canon? 🤔

I tend to think of them as being part of the wider canon as they're officially released materia, but YMMV. Most, if not all of them, started life as Smarptass stories, including the devastating Crumbled Castle Gate.

Do you think there is anything that would make Levi genuinely laugh? I don’t mean a small scoff. I mean something like a big, hearty belly laugh (oh, would I pay to see that)

You know, it's really hard for me to envision Levi really laughing heartily, haha. We only see him smile once in the whole story, and then, we never really see him laugh. The only time I can think of is in one of those drama CD stories, when Levi has fallen asleep doing paper work, and he laughs about being disturbed by the 104th or something like that. But in the actual story of AoT, I can't think of a single instance.

Levi's humor tends to be delivered with a very dry, flat tone, reflective of his overall subdued manner, which is part of what makes him so funny when he does deliver some scathing comment, etc... He's so deadpan about it, half the time you can't tell if he's serious or just kidding.

So yeah, it's hard to imagine what might make him actually, genuinely laugh out loud. It would be one of those almost shocking moments, because I think it would be so unexpected. Kind of like it was when he smiled at the 104th before thanking them.

Maybe something physical could get him to laugh? Like physical comedy, like a prat fall or something similar? I can sort of imagine Levi finding that kind of humor amusing.

What made you get into yandere types?

I would love to answer this, with the full story, of course!

My memory is a little fuzzy from the origins of how I came to love the yandere trope, but this is what I can remember. I started to love the yandere trope after I had watched season 1 of Mirai Nikki in the 3rd or 4th (I’m leaning 4th) grade. I had a major love for anime prior to watching Mirai Nikki, as I had watched anime on my TV at home and on my mother’s blackberry phone at the time.

When I watched how Yuno became obsessed with Yuki, stalking him, threatening him and others, etc to prove her “love,” for him… I remember thinking it was one of the best things I’ve ever seen. Of course, I probably shouldn’t have been watching an anime as graphic as Mirai Nikki at the age of 10, but what can I say? I was an unsupervised child with a phone that had unlimited possibilities. Anyways, Yuno had sparked my curiosity in yanderes and I started fantasizing about gay yandere relationships, as yaoi was quite popular in the anime community at the time. My fantasies about yanderes slowly went from yaoi, to a self insert kind of scenario. I started thinking about someone/ anime characters being a yandere for me! In order to satisfy myself, I started taking “yandere,” quizzes on Quotev! I enjoyed reading the results of the quizzes and tests, which eventually lead me to reading yandere x reader fanfics.

When I reached into middle school, AOT/SNK became the anime I was most obsessed with. So naturally, I read yandere AOT fanfics and took yandere AOT quizzes. By the time I was in the 7th or 8th grade, I discovered yandere asmr on YT. I was ecstatic, I listened to JP dub yandere drama CDs, some with the JP voice actors for AOT. This formation has continued on, even now as a 19 year older! I still love taking yandere quizzes and tests, I still love reading yandere x reader fanfics and I certainly still love listening to yandere drama CDs/asmr! All the factors play into why I love the yandere trope, I’ve been into it for the last 9 years of my life!

J: So that's the kind of site where you can watch anime without spending a penny, huh. R: I see. That's definitely not forgivable. M: A complete evil which no one can prevent. A: Yeah...you're right. Not only it's an infringement to copyrights, but it also infringes the rights of all the staff that worked hard to produce these animes. It's the worst, it also tramples on the audience that loves these animes. J: And why did you do that kind of thing ? A: Because I'm someone like that ! I'm made fun of at school for being a geek, I'm not good at sports and I'm not even good at studying, and I don't have a lot of friends. no but guys everyday i think about that snk drama cd where erwin gets blackout drunk with pixis and then wakes up with mikasas scarf around his neck and no idea how or why he had it. meanwhile the 104th conducted a full on investigation on who couldve stolen mikasas scarf and erwin was like,,, sweating the entire time trying to diverge his sussiness onto other people while also planning out w levi how to break the news to them without being seen as a mega creep but THEN armins UNDERWEAR also goes missing and then erwin is like “oh well fuck i cant tell them now bc theyll think i took the kids undies too??” and it was a whole comedic mess.

and everyday i also think about how much funnier and more choatic this drama cd couldve been if hanji was also in it as well,,,,,,,,,,,,

Ignoring Levi until he snaps | Levi x gn!Reader

Content: Reader's taller than Levi, slight angst from Levi's POV

Warnings: Maybe OOC Levi but I literally do not care right now. This is how I picture him in my head, and this is how he acted when I shifted. Suck my balls /j

Notes: I shifted earlier and this is what came out of it. Thought it would make a good fic. Based off of the game more than the show, and a Japanese drama CD I listened to of AOT (mainly Erwin's part). Also no established relationship between you and Levi.

(Y/n) looked around the training field, trying to spot a smaller figure. Eren was out, which would mean that the Captain would be in tow somewhere. Maybe even off resting underneath a tree? The more the cadet looked around, the more people began to notice she hadn't come to train.

Hange was the one to approach them, arms behind their head. "Oi! (L/n)! Whatcha doin' here?"

"Ah, hey Hange. Sorry I'm...looking for something." They looked at the section commander before glancing around again.

"Oh, I can help you find it. What is it?"

"Oh, uhm, no thanks. I can find it on my own-"

Hange lowered their arms and grinned. "Aw c'mon! I can help out! What'd you lose? Did Jean steal your candy again?"

"No, not this time." (Y/n) mumbled, side-stepping to try to peer over Reiner's broad frame in the distance.

Hange followed their line of sight, then sighed. "Oh, you're looking for someone."

(Y/n) mindlessly hummed an affirmation. Hange sighed again. "I swear, you're like the Mikasa to Levi's Eren..."

(Y/n) choked on their spit before whipping to the section commander. "H-hey! Is it that obvious...?"

"Painfully." Hange groaned. "You know, it wouldn't be as obvious if you spent more time with other people..."

(Y/n) silently stared at Hange for a moment, before glancing at the ground. "Guess I have been neglecting everybody, huh...? 'M sorry, Hange."

Hange, playing along, huffed and crossed their arms, turning away. "I'm hurt, (L/n)."

"Ah- okay! I'll do anything you want today, forget Levi." (Y/n) raised their hands to appease the eccentric commander.

It was Hange's turn to whip to them now. "Really?! Then c'mon, there's some things I wanna do today!"

Hange barely heard (Y/n)'s protests as they were dragged by hand. Both of them missed the sharp gaze from across the field.

First Time

(Y/n) held a hand over their mouth as they yawned, finishing up some dishes early in the morning before Hange could get their hands on (Y/n) again. Drying off their hands, they were more focused on staying awake than their surroundings, and completely missed the sound of footsteps approaching them.

"Oi, (Y/n)."

They immediately grew stiff and turned around. They looked down at the Captain for a moment, feeling their whole world spin in delight. Fighting off a huge smile, they played it cool.

"Ah, morning Levi. I didn't hear you come in."

"That's okay. I saw you with four-eyes yesterday. What did they drag you off to do?" He moved closer, looking up at them with interest.

"Nothing special," they yawned. "But, they certainly kept me up all night..."

Levi nodded, the corners of his lips twitching upwards. "I can make us some tea. We haven't sat down to have it in a while."

(Y/n) looked down at him with sleepy eyes before giving him a small nod and smile. Levi moved past them to grab the kettle before Hange burst in.

"Oi! (L/n)! Let's get a move on, you promised to do some more experiments with me today!"

"O-oh, I did? Ah, 'm sorry Levi. Guess tea'll have to wait."

Levi looked up at them, then over at Hange with a slight glare. "...sure. I'll have tea with myself, then."

Hange dragged (Y/n) off, then stuck their tongue out at Levi when they weren't looking.

Second Time

Erwin had been keeping (Y/n) busy with meetings. Well, Erwin told Miche, Hange and Levi as such. In reality, it was to have conversations about the media he consumed when he found out they consumed the same ones. It was a good past time and a great way to grow closer to Erwin, but (Y/n) would be lying if they said it wasn't weird to see Erwin in that state.

Currently, they were running ten minutes late for their "meeting" with the man. Turning a corner to run up some stairs without looking, (Y/n) hadn't noticed Levi until they hit each other.

"Ah, L-Levi! I'm sorry, I'm in a bit of a rush."

"Woah, hey, what about?" Levi shot his hand out to grab their wrist when they tried to move past.

"I'm sorry, I'm late for a meeting with Erwin."

Levi narrowed his eyes. "You've been having a lot of those with him lately."

"I know, I'm sorry. I promise soon we'll sit down and actually have a conversation. But right now, I really need to-"

"(Y/n)! Hurry. My office, now!" Erwin called from the top of the stairs.

"A-Ah, sorry sir! I'm sorry Levi, I gotta go." They slipped from his grip and ran up the remaining stairs.

Levi gave Erwin a hard glare once he saw (Y/n) slip into his office. Erwin caught it and just shut his door. The blonde authority figure turned to (Y/n), who had seated themselves in their usual spot before looking up at him.

"Yes?"

"Before we begin, I have to ask, is there something going on between you and Captain Levi?"

(Y/n) quirked a brow. "Huh? No. Who told you there was?"

"Nobody. Just, nevermind. It's probably nothing." Erwin shook his head.

"Uh, alright, sir. Anyways, continue."

Third Time

Reiner was leading (Y/n) by the small of their back onto the training field. "I don't think we've trained like this since our boot camp days! You got so wrapped up in that Levi guy that you just kinda stopped hanging out with all of us."

"Yeah," Eren piped up. "Did you guys break up or something, by the way? Levi's been looking real sour for the past month and a half and you've been spending all your time with us..."

"Don't be silly, they never dated in the first place. Right?" Reiner looked down at them.

"Yeah." (Y/n) nodded.

Eren chuckled. "But you'd like to."

That earned him an elbow in the side. "Shut your face! He might hear you!"

Reiner snickered while Eren let out a pained laugh. "Aw, c'mon, (Y/n)! He's not out here."

"You don't know that. He could be behind us and we wouldn't know unless he says-"

"Oi."

"Yeah, that."

(Y/n) then suddenly went stiff before turning around with the two men. Levi didn't look too happy.

"Reiner. Get your hand off them."

"Why, Captain? I was leading them out into the grounds to train."

"With Eren, too? Likely story."

"Captain Levi, please, we were all gonna train and-" (Y/n) tried reasoning.

"And what? Blow off our plans again?"

"What? What plans? We never-"

But all too quickly, Levi snatched (Y/n)'s wrist and stalked off with them, leaving a cackling Eren and Reiner behind. (Y/n) could only mindlessly follow Levi with how hard his grip was. They'd never break it if they tried.

Eventually, Levi brought them into the kitchen where he plopped them at a table. "Sit while I make tea. Don't let four-eyes barge in again."

(Y/n) could only dumbly sit there. "But I thought..."

Levi put the kettle on the stove. "Thought what?"

"Hange said that you wouldn't like me being around all the time."

"When'd they say that?" Levi turned to look at them.

"That sleepless night I had, when you watched them drag me off? I thought I was giving you space."

"Too much space." Levi sat across from them. "Besides, Hange will say anything they want to get others to experiment with them."

(Y/n)'s gaze flicked to the shorter man. "You mean this whole time, it didn't really matter...?"

"Oh no it did. It mattered that you'd suddenly put so much space between us. I didn't like it, especially when I saw Reiner on you...made my blood boil." Levi glared at the table.

(Y/n) felt their face heat up. "So...so what should I do to make it up to you?"

Levi's gaze snapped up to their's, softening almost immediately. "Spend time with me again. I don't care who complains."

(Y/n) stared at the Captain, gaping in awe. "O-okay, can do."

"Good. Now close your mouth, you look like a fish." Levi leaned forward and delicately closed their mouth with his thumb and forefinger, his touch lingering a little longer than it should've before the kettle began to scream.

"Ah- ready already? I'll pour it for us." Levi got up and walked past them, ruffling their hair as he went.

Coming back, Levi bent over from behind them to set their cup down. One of his hands rested on their shoulder and gently squeezed, while his other was used to hold the cup as he drank. (Y/n) noticed how close he was standing and just smiled softly to themselves.

Grabbing the cup and taking a sip, they leaned back and affectionately rested their head against Levi's torso.

"Thank you, Lev."

"Mhm." Sip.

So I noticed from the early manga chapter (not S4 ch ) cd dramas and aot game smth : why does Levi look so annoyed, angry and a little nervous around hanji, he is so harsh with his words with her, and as I can see he never does that's with others (most of the time ), he is always like "oye shitty glasses" with a serious tone also he has that line don't put your subordinates' life in danger I understand they are his responsibility but is it possible that he means her too. And do these two fight a lot(daily), or did they ever had like a big fight and stop talking for a while?

First of all, about official materials, I actually don't see every of them as canon. Only those in which isym's involvement is stated clearly. So, for me manga is still the primary resource for every thing along with well-documented interviews.

why does Levi look so annoyed, angry, and a little nervous around Hanji

In canon it happened one to two times ig (?), but the rest of their interactions showed they get along so well. I don't think Levi is in the spectrum of get annoyed-hate towards Hanji. It's more like they're teasing each other to me.

In materials outside manga, I do think they (the marketing team (?)) exagerrated (most of the time) levihan teasing mode to the one you've said. But then again, isym involvement in these stuffs is unknown to none. So ....

(Note: I don't read the manga from ch 1 - 49, so I only took what was in the anime)

This should be looked up thorughly bcs I don't think english translation is adequate to draw "he never does that with others" conclusion. For east asian languages (well I can only confirmed it with KR and JP), as far as I know, a rude speaking/informality in the languages not only shown by words choices even a suffix omission/substitution with slang ones can be considered as rude. I doubt this aspect can be shown well in EN version.

Also, canonically Levi is constipated with expressing his thoughts and is not quite good with words.

I think it isn't relevant to to the story and there's no clear confirmation from the author. I think people can headcanoning it as they wants WITHOUT forcing others to believe it.
