7.1 ‘The New Deal’ Feelings / Ramblings (Let’s Get Them Out)

The premiere was great. Got me even more excited! Hope it will keep kind of the same tone overall.

Just a few particulary loved moments.

Damn, that first Coulbot scene. 

Deke been preoccupied by Fitz’s abscence! And they gave him his own work station, and the tool. So much FitzSimmons Family feelings!

Director Mack thinking about alien contagion in the past, that’s why he is Director, he does not forget the rest of the picture.

Mack, famous robot haters, clearly address Coulbot with so much respect. Beautiful scene. And Coulbot “I would do anything for you guys” and I accept to do it but for the time of the mission. Beautiful scene.

Deke explaining time theory (s3 and s5 Fitz parallel, the only guy who has travel backward and who comes from an alternate universe so fitting). Plus, I do like the Deke touch this episode.

Daisy all keep calm stay cool ‘s threat. Her being such a great agent, she’s come so far from her time in her van we literally her every steps and that punch.

Mention of Coulson’s first year at the acadamy. I can’t.

Yoyo! Yoyo! Yoyo! Yoyo!

So releaved to be beating that *** shrink traces. The whole ‘thank you but no’, ‘this is who I am and I’m not ashame of it’ (so Yoyo) her touching her face. So strong and moving, as always.

A Koenig and will get to see how he will evolve due to his interaction with the team. Exciting. Really curious.

The costumes, obviously! I love Daisy’s green dress especially (so stunning).

“Era appropriate police work” Deke XP

Coulbot I’m already dead attitude and Mack’s I’m not one.

Jemma seems both so detached and on the verge at the same time, disturbs me very much. (How long Jemma?!!!? We just need to know). She takes chronicom therapy session very seriously. (Just so happy to see her back.)

“Why me?” because you’re her grandson! Such a Nana moment.

Coulson (and his history love, and his dad jokes, and his dad status, and his fanboy side) has been missed dearly. Him being there for Daisy, worrying about her.

Deke & Zima !!! Of course. Amazing,

“Ripples not waves” Congrates Mack.

Enoch, sweet bean. The last Enoch scene <3

Kitchen fight scene, let’s use plates and a bat, love the energy.

Fitz we miss you, as always. No May this episode neither but she is ready to kick some ass again (already?! It’s May so). Just excited for when we’ll have more of them.

Also when Gordon bring them back to the quinjet Jiaying basicly said that she can’t left her people behind and that her daughter is still out there. May or YoYo (I don’t know for sure) responded by saying she made her choice when she teamed up with Nathaniel Malick and Jiaying is not suprised or anything that Kora is addressed as her daugther. So seems like Kora is indeed Jiaying’s daugther and therefore Daisy’s half sister.

Plus, when Nathaniel first introduced himself to Kora he create a link between them by saying that they are the ones that originally died but that now it is their chance. So, yeah, I go with the same idea about her. Originally she dies, killing herself,a few years before Daisy is even born, (and maybe even before Jiaying meet Cal).

There is a theory that says that Kora is Daisy's sister and I can't find anywhere. Can you please explain it?

Sure anon!! I’m not a 100% certain how everyone else has taken this theory or the details so this is purely my thoughts!

From the way Jiaying was talking to Kora towards the end of the episode it really sounded like she was talking to a daughter. She mentioned reading her stories as a child and she seemed very protective of Kora as well. Since Jiaying ages very very slowly it makes sense that she could have a daughter with another man before she met Cal and that that daughter could be Kora’s age. So she could have had Kora years before she met Cal and had Daisy. In the original timeline Kora died, being so terrified of hurting others with her power that she takes her own life so Daisy wouldn’t have ever met her half-sister.

I think the theory also makes sense as to why losing baby Daisy to Hydra would be even more devastating to Jiaying, having already lost a child, and why she would have gone down the path she does in Season 2. I also think the language of the episode really leaned into Kora being Jiaying’s daughter.

I don’t know if this helped at all. If people would like to chime in and help explain it better than I can that would be amazing! I always love hearing everyone’s theories 😊.

Momma Bear Jemma apparently working to change laws so her daughter can design fish while Fitz is sitting there like OMG we’ve talked about this twenty times can someone help? Is the quality content I needed last night.

I've got a theory. 🎶

Okay.

Thanos came to earth at the end of season 5.  

But the snap clearly never happened because when season 6 picks up “one year later” theres absolutely no mention of half the universe disintegrating into nonexistence.

I think when Coulson and the others came back from the future in season 5, they entered an alternate timeline where the Avengers defeated Thanos the first time around and prevented half the universe from being wiped out. 

And now in season 7 with all the time travel hijinks and timeline alteration, eventually they’ll wind up back in the main MCU, with Z1 finally touching down after the events of Endgame.

Okay guys I watched finale few hours ago but I’m so overwhelmed with feelings that I don’t even now where to start. I looooove it♥️. Really, I couldn’t ask for more. After 5x22 I was scared but JedMo learn their lesson and gave us amazing finale. It’s sad that team is not longer together, but they’re alive and happy, and they can still see each other ♥️.

As a FS shipper I can tell only one thing- I love Alya Fitzsimmons with my whole heart ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️!!!! And I couldn’t imagine better end for my favorites ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️!!!!!

God, I’m crying again. I’m gonna miss this show so much 😭😭😭

But now I will try to finally start reblogging things so if you want to avoid AoS spam you better mute tags 😂

I don’t think Fitz is dead, but I do believe he is in much pain, suffering somewhere... I’m scared really. All I can think is something to do with his brain and I keep remembering Coulson’s brain when they were erasing the memories of the GH325 and putting Tahiti on it. I don’t know why, it’s all I can think about, that pain.

AoS Spoilers

I know they’re fictional characters but... GOSH, I miss them so much already. I’m so happy they ended on their own terms but I’m going to miss the weekly discussions, predictions and just chit-chatting with the other fans in general (not that i can’t chat with them now), Most of all, I will miss seeing these agents (including the ones who were no longer main characters - looking at you, Ward) that we’ve all grown to love on screen again (petition for Agents of S.W.O.R.D pls with cameos by all the AoS cast)

These past 7 (or so) years with the cast and crew have been a delight. We were able to watch them grow and become invested in their characters (in some cases even more than we could with the main MCU characters). Really, I’ve never been more attached to any other character from other shows. Kudos to the cast and crew for bringing these characters to life.

T’was a great run with you, AoS and the fans. I hope the legacy this show has left never dies.

I..I..I can think of one reason he’d agree to it.

If it’s not just him it’s protecting. The same reason Jemma would want that protection.

Also can I just say that Fitz would have never been on board with the whole “Enoch will kill anyone even Jemma to keep his location a secret” thing? I hope he never learns about that because I’m pretty sure he’d be so upset about it.

Remember back at the start of the season when Jemma mentioned something about expecting a message from Fitz and we all thought there’d be some plot about that? Good times.

Now I feel like I’m supposed to forget he exists.

I tagged it, but I’ll put it under the break.

Near the end of the ep while Coulson was looking at LMD May lying there I had a thought that he was just replaying the kiss over and over in his mind.

Next ep I was thinking that Coulson would interrogate LMD May - trying to find out if she had any other directives programmed in.  I wonder whether LMD May might tell Coulson anything personal about May - something she thought or felt.  Or would she feel that was betraying May - to tell Coulson something that the real May has never confessed?

What is happening with May right now?  What affect has the altered memory of Bahrain had on her?

I think we’re in for a lot of May suffering in the next ep - from both Mays.  But I’m holding out hope that LMD May will end up helping SHIELD in some way.
