I know the season finale happened a year ago, but I've been rewatching Agents of Shield, and I just really love this couple so so much. I'm surprised they don't have that many fanarts👀 so lemme start with this skcjdiwkd. Also pls. I'm still waiting for the Astro Ambassadors😭🙌

SPOILER ALERT FROM SEASON 7 EPISODE 9 OF AGENTS OF SHIELD

ok, so we all saw that Dousa kiss. And many of you guys have already start shipping it but before that (if that's even possible), I want to talk about Daisy's past (more specifically, StaticQuake):

Lincoln was Daisy's third cannon love interest and whether you liked it or not, we have to admit his departure left a scar on her: she hasn't seen anyone romanticly since that, which up to S7 should be like, what, 4 years minimum? Anyways, it's a really long time.

LITTLE DISCLAIMER BEFORE YOU KEEP READING: I'm not saying she NEEDS a couple in order to be interesting or something 'cause we all know she's incredibly interesting all by herself but, keep scrolling: I'll get to my point soon enough...

She could have been with Deke (as up to S7, he still looks like he has a crush on her or at LEAST he deeply cares for her) but no, he isn't her type. He's quite annoying (for some) and even child-like, and he takes other's merit and makes them his, something that I'm sure Daisy dissaproves strongly.

But then, Sousa comes along. A brave, kind and caring man that looks for nothing but what it's right. He reminds me a little bit of Lincoln, but they are different though.

Lincoln and Sousa both have golden hearts and are both often driven by emotions just like Daisy. However, Sousa and Daisy (this last one, with time) had learnt that with rational behaviour and a great heart, the best results occur: emotions can't get the best of you if you're not thinking clearly. Lincoln didn't have enough time to learn this lesson.

Sousa keeps it cool in front of others, even if he doesn't mean to: keeps a straight face even when things get messy and even though he's quite clueless with all these space-time things, and the technology and aliens (kinda like me, to be honest), he tries to find a solution as clean as possible whereas Lincoln was desperate to protect who he cares about no matter how, like that time he almost lost it with Alisha. Emotions got the best of him while Sousa, after being pulled out of his time, yes, he got a little bit upset (which is totally normal in such an anormal situation) but quickly put himself back up to help those in need: the team.

Anyways, StaticQuake was both great and painful for Daisy, and even though I adore that ship and Lincoln as well, we have to let it go.

Lincoln and Daisy were so good to each other in times of need and never gave up on the other, no matter how rough things got in the short time they had together. Nobody took such a passionate and kind care for her like Lincoln did and viceversa for Lincoln.

Because of the traumatic event losing Lincoln was and so many others she's lived, Daisy looks every time less emotional about loses and problems (nothing like S3 finale has ocurred in the subsequent seasons) 'cause she's so damaged and so broken already. So much has happened in so little time and now.

I sometimes believe in front of cathastrophies, she looks kinda numb not sure if she doesn't want to feel so much pain, she's just that broken or if she does it for the team.

My point is that, due to all this, she deserves some happiness with someone with a heart as golden and broken as hers like Sousa's, and viceversa, and they both deserve a happy ending together, if that's what they want. Give them a break already.

Some information from the panel at Wondercon (click here to watch the video) - First of all, the big news: Aos will return on May 10 with season 6 that takes places after Endgame and season 7 may not be the last one! Maurissa said they always think they’re going to end each season and being renewed is a bonus each year. - If she could choose a superpower, Natalia would like to travel in time. Henry would want the power to heal. Jed want to fly. - Jed said we always watch actors with special effects but on set “we see all of them completely ridiculous” and Maurissa added “I have videos of all of that and they will be shared with the world at some point” - a fan asked which character from previous seasons they miss the most. Elizabeth said Ward, Bobbi, Hunter and Mace. Clark said Ruth Negga (Raina). Jeff Bell said Bobbi and Hunter. Maurissa said Trip. Natalia praised Mallory Jansen (Aida). And Iain talked about the episode of Nick’s return… And then he told he miss the ferrets (who apparently are named Salt and Pepper) 😂

honestly, though? best show i've watched since hill house, which was way back in february, by a mile. i actually watched s4 while it was airing (i don't remember why? i think the girl i liked at the time really liked it but i can't remember if that was the cause of me watching it or not) way back when you could do things like that on network websites. side note, that's ALSO how i managed to watch aos7 way before the rest of aos- but anyway, i had no idea what was going on in s4 because i hadn't seen the rest of it. so when i got netflix i added it to my watchlist but just never got around to watching it until now. i am now obsessed and it's michael schur's fault. the characters are all so lovable and so believable, and the show is so funny while still being full of so much heart. it also gets points for me for being sort-of urban fantasy along with being a sitcom, because with the exception of derry girls and that one episode of new girl with the meth, i don't really rock with plain old sitcoms a lot of the time. (also part of the reason why i love santa clarita diet.) absolute once-in-a-lifetime creation from schur. i salute him.

MACK'S REALLY WAS DONE WITH SOUSA'S LANGUAGE.

The fact that he was "yeah, I'll tell you new ones" and then he realize Daniel's language is just a reflection of what he is, just a good man, a fine man.

The MCU has, to my memory, 4 canon uses/methods of time travel: -Agents of Shield season 5, using a monolith and a machine invented by Leo Fitz (and maybe Jemma Simmons) -Avengers: Endgame using the quantum zone and a device created by Tony Stark (with Bruce Banner and Scott Lang and maybe Rocket?) -Runaways season 3, using a machine created by Chase Stein -Agents of Shield season 7, using different technology invented by Leo Fitz with the help of Enoch and Jemma Simmons

Two of these are the most relevant: Endgame and AOS season 7 because both of these share two common features-- use of the quantum zone and the concept of branching timelines.  Both of these uses clearly establish that changing time creates a branch timeline and therefore an alternate universe. Endgame uses the quantum zone to travel within their timeline. AOS7 uses a different method of time travel but in the finale, uses the quantum zone to move from one timeline to another. One could potentially infer that Steve Rogers used the same or a similar method to travel from his branch timeline where he married Peggy back to the main timeline where he handed off his shield to Sam.

All this to say that, within the MCU, moving backwards and forwards in time, and moving between universes within the multiverse, if not essentially the same action just in a different direction, then a very closely linked action. 

From which we could conclude that, if someone were able to pull someone from one universe to another-- like say... Peter Maximoff-- they could presumably by the same token pull that person from a different time in that other universe-- for instance 1983 so as to have a 27 year old Quicksilver rather than a 67 year old Quicksilver. 

Or at least that makes sense to me insofar as it concerns stories involving time travel, multiverses, super-powered mutants, sentient androids, witches whose powers may be magic or may be the result of experimentation with primordial energies, and the occasional Norse god.
