Poof’s full name is Poof Pizookie, which is a type of food that’s basically a giant cookie baked in the shape of a pie, it’s really good

I just named him that cause I thought it was funny lol

you can just name your characters anything. you can name them Printer. you can name them Shnorpty. you can name them There Are Pillars. and peoppe will just have to accept it.

Bender does have some repressed trauma before the story begins I guess, but it’s not like he witnessed his mom die or something, though it’s still concerning for his mental health I think

He obviously goes through some stuff in the actual comic. A story needs conflict after all!

MORE OCS WHAT?! This is Princess Marigold! She is from my comic I’m working on. She’s a pretty silly individual who enjoys baking and gardening to a very normal extent (and by that I mean she is not normal about these things)

YESS MAKING ORIGINAL CONTENT IS WAY MORE AWESOME THAN FAN CONTENT BECAUSE YOU HAVE FULL CONTROL OVER WHAT YOU’RE MAKING

EXAMPLE: Poof actually used to be an old Spamton AU design where his universe was destroyed during his Big Shot Era and he was sucked into another one. In response, he was going to become a thief going by the name of Crazy Goose (don’t ask). This was what he looked like:

anyways, here he is now.

I changed his name to Poof, turned him into a lil opossum, and now he’s going to be in a comic I’m making! He’s also not a thief anymore, so that’s cool (don’t steal kids)

I am honestly much happier with Poof than I was with his earlier design as a fan character. Not that fan characters are bad! But making something more original is so rewarding and the result is something that is a lot more meaningful to you. It also gives you more creative freedom and allows you to actually OWN what you are making (you can’t publish a fanfic without getting copyrighted, I think. I don’t know, I’m sure someone’s done it but you get my point).

So yeah, thank you for coming to my TEDTalk everybody

I'm thinking about making my own story/fictional world that is inspired by Undertale AU elements but also different

Pros:

Can't go out of character/canon of it's mine

Can control the content I allow

No toxic fandom

No bad ships

Creating Things is good and healthy
