My legs gave out. I landed on something soft and springy. My rescuer had unusual features. I expected to see wings. Surely she was an angel that was swooped in and flew me here. But she didn't have any. Her skin was a pale grey, her eyes were dark, and her hair black as night. She had pointed ears. She watched me for a moment before speaking. It should have been no surprise to me, but I couldn't understand a word she was saying.

I didn't expect a response. But I spoke anyway, to ask if anyone spoke English. Embarrassingly enough, my voice sounded hoarse and strange. How long had it been since I spoke last? There's no way to know, even now, writing this, I can't say how long I've been here.

But she responded! In English! Her accent was thick, and unlike anything I had heard before. I'll do my best to recount the conversation...

"Ah! English. It had to be English." She sounded disgusted, "I am glad you spoke. It makes it easier to figure out the language issue. You are lucky we get so many Earthkin here. Or I would not have known your language!"

"There are others like me?!" I struggled to get to my feet.

She gave a slow nod, as if she was unsure it was right sign for what she wanted to convey. "Yes, but you cannot see them yet. I saved you. From Pyron. We must talk about this first."

She motioned for me to follow her as she began walking away. I took one look back, to the space we flew in from. I contemplated running. I followed.

Sólaire, Hollywood’s recent obsession has taken the industry by storm. At first with her debut film “Overmorrow” co-starring Matthew McConughay and Kate Winslet, which surpassed James Cameron’s “Titanic” on the list of the highest grossing films of all time. Then her work with Leonardo DiCaprio as the lead in his directorial debut, “Red Vice,” as the lead female character, and today, the young actress is rumored to be Sophia Coppola’s newest muse for her upcoming film.

But it didn’t always start off like this. In fact, Sólaire has always been open and honest with the fact that she didn’t even take an acting class before auditioning for “Overmorrow.”

SÓLAIRE: It was a complete accident, really. My friend was auditioning and there were, maybe, three people in the room? So, as a joke she said I should just walk in and try and…well, here we are!

INTERVIEWER: Are you still friends with that person?

S: Absolutely not.

Alongside her Hollywood take over, Sólaire’s fashion and aesthetic has made her palatable to many niche spaces on the internet that have welcomed her with open arms and armor of protection. A few of these include enjoyers of “coquette” fashion, various anime communities, and even fans of K-Pop have found themselves standing behind the actress as much as their favs.

Despite her fame, Sólaire wears the term “fan girl” like a badge of honor. Her many interests include K-pop (specifically Enhypen, Twice, IVE, and Kiss of Life), anime/manga, Marvel/DC, video games, Chase Atlantic, all things book related, F1 and other sports.

She has embraced the fame as it comes to her and is spoken highly of by many colleagues, fellow co-stars, and industry workers alike.

S: People work hard for this kinda thing, you know? And it was just an insane series of coincidences that I was able to break through this industry on my legitimate first try (laughs). So, even if I don’t feel up to it or whatever, I take a moment every single day to be grateful for every opportunity and every challenge I’m faced with.

━━━━ PERSONAL LIFE ⋆˚𝜗𝜚˚⋆

Sólaire prefers to maintain a very private life with a close knit circle of friends. Her immediate friends were made in high school and college, while her more well known friends include Marsai Martin, Wonyoung (IVE), Sabrina Carpenter, Natty (Kiss of Life), and Olivia Rodrigo. These friends are often scattered amongst her Instagram and TikTok’s, making the actress feel more relatable to fans.

As much as the young actress tries to protect her privacy, paparazzi can be relentless in their pursuits of uncovering gold, and in Sólaire’s case, that is exactly what it is.

In October 2023, she and the star player of the New Jersey Devils, Jack Hughes were seen getting cozy after a game, of which she had been in attendance. The couple didn’t make their relationship official until June of 2023 in spicy and loving summer boat pictures posted to both of their main social media.

SÓLAIRE: I was plotting on that man from the first time I saw him. I just knew I was gonna get that and surprise, surprise, I did it again. Maybe I should make a book on how to manifest (she laughs).

INTERVIEWER: How is the long distance working for you guys? Is it hard with the hockey schedule and acting schedule conflicts?

S: Sometimes, but we usually work together on that kinda thing. I’ll take time to see him in New Jersey or he’ll come visit the film set, it can be fun, actually. And then the summers are usually ours!

Notes:

Since Makoto isn’t actually in the game, most of the list will focus on Aigis' side of their bond as well as the little things that connect them.

There will also be third party quotes about Aigis’ bond with Makoto.

I bolded the most important moments.

The post is image heavy & contains spoilers for the entire game.

When that person died, there was nothing she could do to bear the pain. The machine girl found herself thinking that she had no use for a heart that did nothing but let her feel pain. And thus, the girl's heart became a blue butterfly, which took flight, and the pain in her chest disappeared. However, in its stead, there was now a large, gaping, empty hole in her chest. The emptiness in her chest didn't hurt, but it also did not let her feel anything. She wasn't alive anymore. PROMOS

✤ The Key Visual of Episode Aigis features Aikoto. What's more, it reveals that Makoto in the original P3R art was meant to be looking at Aigis all along, like two halves of a whole.

✤ Soejima released an illustration to celebrate Episode Aigis. The illustration features Aikoto & Metis.

✤ The First Edition of the Episode Aigis soundtrack comes with a double-sided Aikoto box featuring the Key Visual and their AOA attacks. This is what Lotus Juice had to say about it:

"In the cover, you see P3HERO and Aigis looking at each other... if you open it, they'll be separated... like they're almost within reach of each other, but aren't. I wonder if that feeling gets across to fans as well? It's very beautifully done."

✤ SEGA Korea welcomed September with an Aikoto Calendar featuring the Episode Aigis Key Art (alternative link).

✤ HINEMOS released two more Aikoto Sake bottles to commemorate the release of Episode Aigis.

✤ The new Battle Song, Don't, is also from Aigis' POV. While it focuses on Aigis' feelings through her conflict with SEES, it also has references to her feelings towards Makoto. Full lyrics here!

MENU & UI

✤ In the menu, Aigis is shown holding a blue butterfly who flies away from her. According to the old devs, blue butterflies are used to symbolize Aigis' heart, which is the perfect imagery for Episode Aigis. Curiously, blue butterflies also often used in relation to Makoto, which carries very meaningful implications they're soulmates your honor.

✤ P3R's UI is meant to represent "the Protagonist's Sea of Souls", and it reflects their psychological state. True to form, Aigis is shown looking sad and lonely in hers, which is how she has felt since she lost Makoto. In the Equipment menu, we can even see her reach out before sadly retreating into herself, as if she were trying to catch someone who is now long gone.

PROLOGUE

✤ During the anime cutscene, we see a new rendition of Makoto's and Aigis' last moments together.

MARCH 31ST

✤ Aigis is the one who kept Makoto's Evoker after his passing.

✤ Aigis says that the one thing she feels certain of is that Makoto wouldn't have blame any of them for what happened, showing how well she understands him.

✤ Junpei comments that he’s glad Aigis has been “hanging in there” (spoiler: she isn't) because "It really seemed like you cared about him more than anything in the world."

✤ Aigis reveals that she remembers her last moment with Makoto whenever she closes her eyes. Depressed, she kept having the same dream over and over again: running after him, calling his name but never being able to catch up.

✤ She also recalls the promise she made him during the rooftop scene: "I promised to protect him, and I made that my reason for living. But now... that promise can never be fulfilled."

✤ Aigis says that one day, her sadness "mysteriously" left her. She stopped dreaming and requiring sleep. Unbeknownst to her, this is the event that draws The Abyss of Time to the dorms.

✤ When Aigis is scared of losing more precious people, she sees Makoto walking away from her and desperately tries to reach out to him. Then, Athena metamorphoses into Orpheus. It's interesting to notice that the effect used when Makoto disappears is the same effect used when Orpheus appears.

✤ Aigis and Makoto have the exact same Velvet Room and Aigis can even access his entire Compendium. In other words, they must share the same space “between dream and reality, mind and matter.”

✤ Elizabeth also explains that a Persona "represents one's heart and soul." Aigis can use Makoto's as if they were her own. Let that sink in!

✤ When Aigis thinks that reaching the Answer to Life may lead to her death, she is surprised to "discover how little the possibility bothered me." With Makoto gone, Aigis has lost her reason to live. It's to the point that when Aigis believes that she may die if she loses her key, she says: "If I did, then that would be fine..."

✤ During one of the activities with Metis, she comments on how fulfilled she feels whenever Aigis trusts her with something. If the player lets Aigis say "I think I understand", Metis will say: "Then you must have someone in your life who's just as important to you as you are to me." Which is quite big, because Aigis is literally Metis' everything lol

✤ Aigis getting Makoto’s power means she "inherited" something from him.”

✤ Aigis says early in the game that normally, people have a reason to awaken to their Persona, but that for her it was backwards. She had a persona and then she gained a reason (protecting Makoto). Later, we discover that the reason for her awakening to the Wild Card was that with Makoto gone, she has lost her purpose and her reason to live.

✤ The door that lies in the deepest part of The Abyss of Time leads to Aigis’ past and the moment she awoke to the "Persona abilities" Makoto had. In here we see Aigis' dream, the one where she runs after Makoto, trying to reach him in vain. We also find out that she was in so much pain and so lost after his passing that she wished she could go back to being just a machine again.

It was so painful losing him... I couldn't bring myself to do anything, so... I just hid in my room. For a while, I did nothing but chase after him in my dreams...

✤ Aigis' trophy is called "The one who dreamt", after her dream of Makoto.

✤ After the fight with Shadow!Makoto, he disintegrates into blue butterflies as Aigis desperately reaches out for him.

✤ Aigis can't decide whether she wants to go back to the past, or respect Makoto's sacrifice and remain in the present. Irritated by Aigis' predicament, Yukari accuses her of running away from her own feelings for Makoto.

✤ Metis explains that she would do anything to protect Aigis, because she is "all she has". This prompts Aigis to say that she, too, once felt the same way about someone.

✤ Aigis being willing to lay down her life to not have to fight her friends makes Metis break down. She echoes all of Aigis' buried feelings at Makoto's sacrifice. "Why do you have to die? Why does it have to be you...? Why can't it... be me instead? Please don't leave me behind... I'll give my life for the key, too! And if that doesn't work... then I'm coming with you! So we can always be together... Please, don't leave me all alone!" 😭

✤ Aigis realizes that she has been running away from her own feelings. Before going back to the past, she needs to know why Makoto did what he did—because she won't give up on what's important to her.

✤ After that fight, Aigis finally acknowledges that she wants Makoto back, too, and explains that she needs to know exactly what he did before she can make a choice. Despite her own feelings, Makoto's come first to her 😭

✤ Aigis screams "No!" as Erebus aims for Makoto. We also get two new shots of Aikoto's last moments together, showing Makoto smiling peacefully on Aigis' lap.

✤ After the final fight, Yukari acknowledges her jealousy over Aigis inhering Makoto's power and says that just like Makoto, Aigis is the one who knows how to move forward.

✤ Aigis reaches the very same Answer to Life that Makoto did: Friendship and Bonds are what give people life.

✤ Metis tells Aigis that there's still a way for Aigis to keep her promise to protect Makoto, and that is by fostering connections with others, so that they may one day reach the same answer they did.

✤ Metis is revealed to be Aigis' Shadow: the manifestation of the heart Aigis wished away after losing Makoto.

✤ Once Aigis regains her heart, she breaks down crying at last, finally processing her grief at losing Makoto.

✤ Before she fully fades away, we hear Metis' voice talking to Aigis and telling her how she can reach Makoto so he won't have to carry on alone anymore.

ENDING

✤ Aigis goes back to the rooftop for the final cut-scene. Just like that last day she spent with him, there are cherry blossom petals blowing in the wind.

✤ The credit song, Brand New Days, is once again from Aigis' POV. It focuses on her feelings towards SEES and Makoto as she walks forward into a new tomorrow.

There are days when I tire of calling out the meaning of my life, and my head droops But still, in my heart (So look up to you) Is your smile

✤ During the credits, we see Aigis looking back over her shoulder as she walks through the Moonlight Bridge (the place that started it all for her and Makoto). Lastly, cherry blossoms once again welcome her when she reaches the school. Considering their meaning (Don't forget about me), I'd like to think they're yet another reference to the fact that Aigis will go on living—forever carrying her memories of him.

✤ The Clear Data Save features Aigis' portrait over a cherry blossom background. If you beat the game on Heartless, a cherry-blossom-colored butterfly is added and placed over Aigis' heart.

EXTRAS

✤ In Orpheus' myth, he descends to the underworld in search of his dead wife, Eurydice, but ultimately fails and finds his own death. Knowing this makes Aigis having Orpheus as her main Persona even more meaningful. Not only is Orpheus' Makoto's Persona—so it's like he's left a piece of himself with her, his own version of I'll Never Leave You—it also represents Aigis' plight during Episode Aigis: either moving forward or going back to the past in search of Makoto. Unlike Orpheus, Aigis is eventually able to move forward carrying her memories of her beloved with her.

✤ Aigis' Compendium is signaled by a bookmark with a red butterfly, while Makoto's is the same bookmark but with a blue butterfly.

✤ Two dictionary entries evoke Aikoto. The first is That Day, which mentions it's "the last day Aigis ever spoke to him." The second is Aigis' Past.

✤ One of Elizabeth dialogues is "Do you posses the power to overcome any adversity as well? Just as he did...?" Another of her dialogues foreshadows Elizabeth wanting to ask Aigis to help her free Makoto's soul from the seal ("When the time comes, I may ask you to..."), just like in Persona 4 Arena.

✤ When Fuuka learns that Aigis may die if her key is taken, Aigis explains that she didn't want SEES to worry over her, too, when they're all "doing what they feel is best... for him..."

✤ Just like in The Answer, Yukari spends the game jealous of Aigis because she heard Makoto's last words and inherited his power—although this time she luckily handles it a lot better. This leads Mitsuru to explain that Yukari doesn't mean Aigis any malice; as she does so, she acknowledges Aigis' feelings and says that Makoto did no mean any less to Aigis than he did to Yukari. Later, Yukari herself ends up acknowledging Aigis' feelings and suffering over Makoto, strengthening their friendship.

✤ It's revealed that both Mitsuru and Yukari made promises to Makoto, or rather, to themselves after Makoto's passing. This bears mentioning because Aigis' promise to Makoto is never described in such terms in the game. At the contrary, in the original game, Yukari even goes as far as comparing them to say that unlike Aigis' promise to Makoto (あなたと違う), hers was one-sided (一方的に), highlighting that Makoto was there to acknowledge Aigis'.

✤ Metis tells Aigis that "The souls of all living things are connected through a plane similar to a sea." The Seal of Souls is likely where Makoto & Aigis are shown together in the opening, and the storyboards even describe it as an "unexpected reunion" 😭

✤ Mitsuru decides to give everyone their Evokers back, so it’s fair to assume Aigis still has Makoto’s.

✤ The Persona 3 Official Fanbook holds a short story about Aigis and Metis (I included an excerpt of it at the top of this post) and a column on the symbolism behind Aigis getting Orpheus (Orpheus, just like Aigis, went to the underworld in search of his lost beloved). While it's not material that came out with this version of Episode Aigis, it's still as relevant (and touching) as ever, so I really recommend reading it.

Is there anything you’ve been struck by on your current Anne reread?

Ok so I read all the Anne books back in 5th grade through middle school, but the only ones I've re-read is AOGG and AOI. This is my first time re-reading AOA and when I first read it, I thought it was not as interesting as the ones it was in-between. However, now having more life experience under my belt, I am LOVING it nearly as much as the other two! I can now relate a lot more to Anne being a teacher, working with kids, and trying to work with her community to improve it and being met with set-backs and resistance. The part where she goes to confess about sell Mr. Harrison's cow rather than her own was something I deal with a lot now, in that I have to have difficult conversations with people and anticipate a poor response, but a lot of the time, people appreciate the honesty and will work through things with you if you approach it in a productive way.

However, I do still find Davy way too annoying, Dora not explored enough in favor of Davy getting all of the stories, and Paul is just...boring so far (I remember he has some subplot with his dad and his dad's ex getting together or something so maybe he gets better then?). Also I know language was different, but the way Anne talks about Paul, I think if they met when they were older/he was her age she might have married him over Gilbert. Is that sacrilege to say? Definitely not saying I'd prefer it, but Paul is kind of similar Roy in that beautiful, sensitive way, but with Anne's genuine affection and kindred-spiritness that Roy lacked.

So yeah in general I'm just surprised by how much I like AOA so far! What about you? (besides the purple pills)

I don't like recently how Wanda is suddenly a big daddy's girl for literally a huge amount of reasons

1. Magneto kept guilt tripping Wanda into staying in the brotherhood of evil mutants. Since he was the one who saved Wanda, in his eyes, that must mean she owes him and do all of his bidding. And if Wanda is staying, so was Pietro.

2. Wanda herself said Magneto isn't her father. She's angry and hurt by him and has every right to be.

3. Killed her brother.

4. Told pietro he didn't deserve resurrection right in front of them.

5. He's only used his children for his evil intent and purposes for a long time.

6. House of M and we know how that shit show was

7. Tried getting them back to join the brotherhood, even using force

There's probably a lot more tbh

I know in the beginning Magneto was more of a one dimensional villain, because over the years he's more of a in depth character, and there’s also changes of different writers and with a different writer, the characters can either be consistent and true to themselves, or completely butcher them and forget the previous storyline.

Wanda has every right to be angry with Magneto. She already has a father. Django Maximoff.

It is conflicting I'll admit. I am a sucker for girldads and seeing how Wanda and Magneto are currently makes my heart go "aww that's his baby!!" But another part of me wants Wanda to beat him up, because I know if that were me, I would HATE him. Hate him to my very core.

I feel like, personally, with the ret-con of them no longer being blood related, they really don't have a reason to stay connected unless fighting on the same team.

If marvel really wanted the direction of Wanda and Magneto having a good father-daughter relationship, then maybe they should've let Wanda be angry with Magneto longer.

Considering all the shit he's done. He can do all he wants to make up for it, but what done is done. He's shown he can be good (how he is as a grandfather, how he was with luna, and even with the new mutants, and even in AoA with him as a parent, though that is a different reality. Im just showing examples of when he can be a good parent) and that he's changed, but of course that doesn't excuse what he's done. In my opinion, if hatred hadn't poisoned his heart, he never would've done what he did.

Wanda should've been given the choice to slowly warm up to him, while still holding him responsible, and keep him at arm's lengths. This should've been done at her own pace if she really wanted to keep him in her life as her adoptive father.

Because let's not forget the man is awful to Pietro. And for the longest time, that's all she could depend on, her brother. The two only had each other and they still have each other's backs. When Magneto told Pietro he didn't deserve resurrection right in front of her, she should've beaten him up.

This is all so complicated, but let's be honest, when will it not be complicated?

Anne of the Island Book Club Chapter 36

Another good one! And a proof that LMM would have made an excellent sitcom writer.

Anne had a short sketch published! So glad for her that she didn't completely give up on her writing ambitions, even if it is just a side hustle.

Phil suggesting they should go to town and get drunk, lol, you wouldn't expect this from LMM.

Priscilla remarking that having an author live with them is a great responsibility--isn't her aunt a famous writer? Mrs Morgan? The one who came to visit in AOA? It was her aunt, wasn't it? Or some relation. Anne mentioning Averil's Atonement means she discussed that story at Patty's Place and I would like to know what they all thought of it. I think they'd be more like Gilbert, supportive. I wonder if Aunt Jamesina's remark is something LMM heard herself?

I guess I'm like Christine, bc my walk is not graceful. I'm clumsy, so what?

Well, Roy had to introduce Anne to his family at some point. They've been seeing each other for a year now and it's a sign he is serious about her. It's natural of Anne to feel daunted, as the Gardners are an old and rich family, and she has experienced prejudice about her origin, even in Avonlea.

Stella always vowed she never could write anything unless she threw each sheet down as she completed it.

This is what I wanted from this book. Chaotic scholar energy! Anne playing with cats, Priscilla baking, a cosy home-like atmosphere. Then, of course, there's a knock on the door and everyone loses their heads. The way LMM describes it is so funny.

Anne scrambled to her feet somehow, emptying two indignant cats out of her lap as she did so

They're not gonna forgive you that easily for this, you know.

And Priscilla hiding her cake under a cushion! You know how it's going to go.

Rusty and Joseph, left to themselves, began a game of chase, and sprang madly into Mrs. Gardner’s silken lap and out of it in their wild career. Mrs. Gardner lifted her lorgnette and gazed after their flying forms as if she had never seen cats before, and Anne, choking back slightly nervous laughter, apologized as best she could.

Pure comedy. Please, somebody make a film so that we can have this scene.

Inconsequently she remembered that Mrs. John Blythe was so fond of cats that she kept as many as her husband would allow.

Oh really, did she? Did she?

You'll probably never going to like every single one of your in-laws (heck, you probably don't even like every single member of you own family/extended family), so the Gardners seem quite standard. I like the name Aline better than Dorothy, though, so I wish they were swapped. But at least Aline, too, likes china dogs. Then she had to go sit on the cake, of course, so I guess she is not winning any of the book club members' hearts.

"What glorious times you girls must have here! Won’t you let me come often and have a share in them?"

Dorothy speaks for all of us.

“‘Of all sad words of tongue or pen The saddest are it might have been,’” quoted Priscilla tragically, lifting the cushion.

The lines are from a poem titled Maud Muller by John Greenleaf Whittier. Another writer also wrote a parody of it, for which I don't blame him bc it is indeed ridiculous.

“I fancy it was Roy’s mistake,” said Phil. “That boy isn’t really responsible for what he says when he talks to Anne."

We never learn whose mistake it was, so I take it that Phil's explanation is the truth. Misunderstandings and mistakes are frequent occurrences in LMM's works. Anne's adoption by the Cuthberts, the doctor in Blue Castle sending the wrong letter to Valancy, then there's a Christmas short story in which an absent minded school teacher invites the wrong family over for Christmas dinner.

Altogether a funny chapter. But the destruction of the chocolate cake is not easily forgivable.

I don't know why I thought she'd know the answer. I don't know why my mouth moved before my brain. But I blurted out "HOW?!" like a computer executing commands from the user, but the user wasn't me. I was already practically out of my chair. Some things you just can't control. Your body is supposed to be one, but that isn't how it always works, now is it?

Jamarin shook her head. The kind of disappointed shake you expect from someone who has done this a thousand times, and yet they want for just once this part to be easy. But... I died. Didn't I? Did I? If I did... how? How could I have died and how am I still here? and where even is here?

If I'm dead... then this IS Heaven, Hell or Purgatory?

I... didn't really think it existed, any of them. They were just kind of fairy tales you hear growing up, things to keep children in line and sometimes adults too. Who would have thought there was anything more than just turning to dust? But... I always wondered what happened to the 'energy' of life, snuffed out perhaps. Burnt up. Gone. Expended. But, that seemed like a convenient answer. Too convenient.

Jamarin sighed heavily. And, I probably would have too if I were in her shoes. "I couldn't know. Your soul was... reborn. You are here now. And you fell into Pyron territory. So, you have a problem."

That was striking at the heart of the issue. I fell here. Which means I still existed, and if I existed that whole time, was I ever really dead? But, she clearly said that I died?? And that sensation of falling wasn't a feeling I got for no reason. But, why was where I landed an issue? "What is wrong with Pyron?"

"Everything."

Out of curiosity, how do you feel about the live action sabertooth/victor creed

yall probably already know this but -> origins victor got me thru one of the most scariest 2 months of my LIFE so he holds a special place in my heart🩷 i owe him big time :,) hes like his own guy to me, still victor creed but like in a unique way? i dunno how to put it to words(gonna try my best). at his core he is still sabretooth, but not growing up alone made him different from most of the other sabretooths. not just from being loved, but having someone other than himself to want to look out for, which is something that sabretooths dont often experience. but its something that fundamentally changes them if given the chance to do so(aoa/exiles vic being a prime example of that).

x1 victor has also grown on me ^^ that version of him had super wasted potential(and they didnt even make him funny?????man come on) ESPECIALLY with the plot they tried to set up with him and logan. they expanded a bit on it in one of the comics, but i feel like they just dropped his character after that…..fond memory i have relating to him is a dream i had where i got to hug him at somepoint. he was really cuddly. i feel like he just wants a friend.

Quatri-Council of Quartz (1/3)

Not a Warhammer post, I just need to take a moment to brainrot about my OCs and worldbuilding stuff

Woe, elves be upon you

Two members of the Quatri-Council of Quartz, the ruling council of Lustarise.

Their respective positions are the Shin'nyo Adaei Artifeska(High Artificer) and Shin'nyo Astena Magistrae(High Magistrate), with the former position primarily managing physical resource allocation and infrastructure projects and the latter managing general lawmaking along with political relations with Geintora(a subkingdom of Lustarise).

These positions come with crests of office which are exclusively for use by whoever is in the position and a small group of people attached to their office that they choose to share the crest with. The crest appears on the medallion of office(or obi decoration in Kanshuro's case) and on patterned parts of their formal clothing.

The Faceted Prism is based off the surveying prism that is often employed by Lustarisean architects and builders in order to map out anything from a small portion of the cave system the kingdom is in or a building through emanating energy to determine distance to the nearest solid object and its size.

The Magistrate's Vitritia is based off a flower that only grows in Lustarise which represents diligence, stillness, and honour due to its long blooming period and glasslike petals.

All holders of the crests of office share a central diamond which represents their status as members of the Quatri-Council. In the case that a holder shares the crest with others, the diamond is typically removed.

The High Magistrate and High Banker positions additionally feature three shards to represent the other members of the council due to being political positions. The High Artificer and High Asuremancer lack these shards, with the former having their crest be entirely relating to their job and the latter representing their own separately administrated body called the Assembly of Asuremancy.

Elaboration on the AoA will be done whenever I push out Suigimano Shinoto(the current High Asuremancer) and Kogana Sakaha's(the current High Banker) designs unless someone wants to submit an ask cough cough

I've always wanted to use the "no beta we die like ___" tag on ao3 but if I ever posted something that was not beta read on ao3 I would die so here are some variations I would use, getting progressively more unhinged (and all aoas related, obviously):

Lots of Circle/O motifs in the op (the beginning when cattle flies, the montage around 0:35-0:40), igors table. in the new beta i also noticed the confidant start/rank ups has bells hitting forming a circle/O effect. Any idea what it could mean?

The first thing I think of is another circle- the MetaNav's icon in P5X.

Circles also present on the calling card stuff we've seen for P5X so far, although that's also true of the P5 ones. My guess is the circles motif at least started there, given that, although I agree with you that it's a lot more present in P5X than in P5.

Circles can have a lot of different symbolic meanings- cycles, unity, completion, etc.- although the MetaNav logo in particular has been noted to resemble Ouroboros or maybe even Jormungandr, which could add different nuance to the circles here.

Cattle's AOA and the airlock (?) that Merope uses for Persona fusion have also been noted as potentially similar circles, though I did note here that Cattle, at least, could maybe be related to the area that lets you return to previous Palaces, in addition to/instead of the more general circle motif, since it resembles the gears there.

All that to say, I'm not exactly sure what it means, but we've got some theories floating around, and it definitely looks like more than just a coincidence.
