Since i may end up doing the interactive au thing for Aphmau's MID, here's the cast in my doodle style [I think i made the dudes too twinky but i will work on that 💪]

This didn't take very long so it's me getting more comofrtable with trying to merge the minecraft skins, Aphmau's style of them, and the fandom's

First up, Ava!

I think I'm placing her height at around 5'3? comfortably shorter than average

Here's Rhys

Not too confident in this one, I feel like his body is off but the gist of it is there. I didn't think of drawing him to be softer until i already drew him, but yeah, I feel like he'd have a softer body compared to the others. For his height i'd place him at aroundd 5'8?, same height as Asch, but taller than Noi and slightly taller than Leif -

I have NO idea what's going on with his collar, Aphmau's official art of him had it doing gymnastics. Apparently when i drew him i was at an angle so he's also doing a boogie. I'd place his height at a solid 5'5, he looks young but only because he doesnt want to actively stop living. He's stressless, or at least copes very well

You can tell he's the first one i drew because i had NO idea what i was doing with his face. Angry 1990s big cartoony dude eyes. I do think the jaw shape i hgave him is fitting, sorta. if the face was more porportionate His height? around 5'8, same ish as Rhys. -

i tried to get his smug personality and flawless eyeliner . I would like to apologize for the nips in the shriot because I cant tell if it's supposed to be sheer or not I'd say he's 5'7, maybe 5'6 if we want him to be aerodynamic.

i couldnt for the life of me figure out how to draw a military-general-who-has-5-kids-at-home vibe on the frist try, so here's his face either sculptedf by the heavens or dragged through the dirt He's definitely "the dream" 6'4 or something. -- So like, I'll probably make Reader slash Y/N be the colour yellow, since that would complete the rainbow we've got goin on here. I have yet to come up wtih a design for them, but they'd probably be around 5'5, face to face with Noi. If Daemos are taller than Humans by nature, then I'd say bump up their heights by around 3-5 inches Anyways, here's the Lineup

that's a trick question; i made it. i have no regrets, it's self indulgent as SHIT and i made it for self-indulgent reasons. regardless, enjoy i hope you enjoy it.

IMPORTANT NOTE: i WILL be focusing on this for a bit- and by a bit i mean like, 2 more chapters and then going back to show the screenshots. dont you guys worry a single thing, i got this.

I'm considering at some point re-writing chapters of OOTF due to the fact that a lot of the initial wording and style and characterization has slowly been lost and it displeases me greatly each time I write a new chapter. Reading the first two or three chapters compared to the more recent ones shows a big change, and though it's mostly due to life events and time constraints, I would rather bring out quality over quantity, despite my strict initial fortnightly uploads.

A lot of burn-out, exams, family and health issues, etc have come up during the process of OOTF and so the writing feels quite disconnected. Apologies to the people who liked the initial writing and saw it drop off. I took less time to think each chapter over because of the schedule as I didn't want to disappear off of the planet suddenly and people who like the fic being confused (something I've seen A LOT). It's why I recommend keeping up with the blog to know about updates.

This isn't to say I'm going to abandon the story or make a new one or anything huge like that. When I get around to doing it, I'll just be editing the chapters bit by bit and encouraging people to re-read the story. Though if anyone actually knows anything that can help prevent more situations like this in the future, please lmk.

I already have the next chapter for Brother Mine and Hunting Trails in progress but since I'm out on a vacation, the uploads have been delayed.. I will update these shortly! EDIT: How do we show appreciation to the volunteers? For me reading these deep dives on OTW issues u guys apparently it's been said multiple times that one of their objective statements is to have paid staff for ao3 and there's a surplus of donations they haven't used up or the other community solutions that needs to address. For those more financially literate feel free to analyze, snipe me or add to the discussion etc. linked here by deepa. They’re cool and these yearly analysis they did aint no joke.

But Seriously what can we do for these volunteers? The probable burn out from this entire fiasco would be no joke. @ao3org

here’s 5 things you can do to encourage them:

Reblog their fic link on tumblr (bonus if it’s with tags)

Bookmark the fic with a note about what you’re excited about/love in the fic

Recommend the fic to your friends or local discord channel

Draw art or create other media for the fic (as indicated by the author’s comfort level)

Leave them a comment when re-reading about the parts of the chapter/story that stood out to you the second time

Another Night In Paradise

Vilem spends another night in Dogtown, the culture shock of the place a bit much for him, but he's slept in worse places.

Gets a hold of both Dino and Kerry on the holo and fills them in on everything from rescuing Myers to the fact that Dino's bouncer happens to be a sleeper agent...

Dino and Kerry both express their concern over Vilem getting involved with NUSA, but they know he can handle himself just fine. Both miss their mainline, and Vilem promises that he'll be back in Night City tomorrow, needing a little break from Dogtown as Reed preps for their infiltration of Hansen's little soiree so they can get Songbird out of the trouble she got herself into. Kerry promises to order the takeout Vilem likes and have it waiting for him at his place.

Johnny makes an appearance and the two just talk, like friends sometimes do. They'd been through a lot so far, and it was good to just be able to talk about it all with someone who's there and understands.

Vilem falls asleep, unsure of how he's able to rest his head on the shoulder of a digital ghost, but he doesn't question it. Much more comfortable than the mattress he's sitting on.

Jason has been writing fanfiction ever since he got access to a computer. They weren't always the most popular, especially since he was writing fics about classics, but that's not why he wrote them. He wrote them for himself.

However, since he always had Robin stuff going on, his author notes had become something of a meme at this point. No one really believed him anymore when he apologized for late updates due to breaking his arm in three places or anything like that.

Then, he died. He had been two chapters away from ending his story, damnit.

But it's fine, he's back now. He apologizes for late update since he, ya know, died and finishes that story. Then, he finds out there's another author out there with notes ... very similar to his own. And a lot of humor about his own death.

Maybe PhantomNotBill087 and him had a lot more in common than being fic writers.
