Im in such a rain world mood right now its awesome. Literally one of the best games ever ^-^

#my stuff #if you enjoy challenging/punishing games or fun platformers and survival mechanics and cool worldbuilding i would highly recommend it #and if its too difficult (which is okay!) then i would recommend mods like:#unshaded citadel.. keepthatawayfromme and simplifiedmoveset are also good #theyre all on the steam workshop now i think which is really nice #unshaded citadel makes 1 section of the game a lot less stressful/painstaking #keepthatawayfromme prevents certain creatures from spawning (good if you are afraid of bugs since there's spider and centipede enemies)#and simplifiedmoveset makes certain movement tech easier to pull off and lets you enable wall climbing + breathing underwater #(makes a lot of platforming segments much easier to traverse)#and the new remix menu has a lot of tweaks that change the difficulty also! :)#anyways. play rain world!

#in the game files the last image of hunter's ascension ending - the one with nsh - is named “embrace”#as a side note #i typically as i like to interpret slugcats as...#intelligent of course as they can draw and sign in downpour lore...#but in a different way from humans. in a different way from iterators.#that's just how i like to interpret them though - if you like to interpret slugcats in a more anthropomorphized/humanized fashion #i'm glad for you and i'm glad you're having fun too :)#anyways i wrote this comic the way i did because i felt like it was the best and most succinct way #to get the message i was trying to express across #so hunter's thoughts are pretty straightforwardly written despite the more complex concepts behind them #i mean they are also made and raised by an iterator so that could come into play #maybe i could have thought of a different way but eh i already drew the comic #rain world #rw hunter #no significant harassment #flickerdoodles #comic #long post #rw spoilers #art

#rain world #ID in alt text #mentioned it in the ID but this is deserted wastelands! in the hydration system subregion #i had to get a screenshot of a room for a showcase but candy being glowy was. unhelpful. since i can't turn her neuron glow off #but also the screen i wanted to get had no walls to shove myself into (which is normally what i do to get the slugcat out of view)#the solution was to use DMS to remove all my sprites so i would be effectively invisible #except i still need to Get to that room. for that i need to see where i am #hence: slime mold #but then i started walking and laughed myself sick #gif warning #also i think it's pretty wild that almost everything you see in this gif was modded in #even candy is technically modded because i have pups+ on (though she ended up being a normal pup anyways)#candy's ID is 7661 if anyone would like to play with her
