#anyways sorry for the long rambling answer i'm very passionate about this apparently

Hold on I'll ask a few but not a lot since I don't wanna be annoying lol.
Idk I have a fangan with these characters but the show is sadly underrated but have you watched 101 Dalmatian Street? Really good show, really good characters, really cute art. Really scary finale.
There was a question asked in the Penguinronpa QnA, two actually, and I wanted to ask these questions. Since 96 isn't complete you can just do like the characters slash chapters you've done up til then or just do 69 only.
For each character, what would they have contributed if they lasted longer in the story. Like the role. Antag, development, support, that one character who does nothing but survives anyway, etc
What's one thing for each chapter you'd go back and redo, if there was one thing for each chapter?
Sorry for question count I'm a very questiony guy. Also yes, this is York the guy who gave Bojack-o-lattern a ton of nicknames. Also I've watched some of Breaking Bad and watched Saiki K almost all of Season 1 (dubbed). Both are really fucking good. There's an Ao Oni movie apparently but the demon design is apparently bad, wait shit I'm rambling. Let me stop now.
1. I haven’t watched it myself, but as long as you enjoy the show yourself and the characters you’re writing, then that’s great! As long as you’re passionate, you could even convince others to check it out
As these other answers are kinda long, I’m gonna put them under the cut ↓ ↓ ↓
2. I’ll answer this for DR69 as it’s easier as that story is already finished.
Mr. Krabs - probably would’ve taken on an arc of greed or teamwork that would’ve reflected into Luigi in some way
Mario - would’ve taken on a very tight-knit support role for Luigi, perhaps helping him come out of his shell and befriend anyone Luigi would
Dedede - as a comical character in the story, it would’ve been funny if he did get access to a hammer or something and tried to break down a wall, only for it to actually lead them to somewhere useful (or makes a hole that a killer could utilise for a murder case)
Ashley - like a mentioned in a very previous post, she would’ve had an arc of coming out of her comfort zone and making more friends, gaining some confidence on the side to confide in others. She would probably become a close friend to Luigi, who takes on a similar type of parental role he does with Parappa (as one single man can never have too many kids)
2D - I’d like to think we’d get to see him perform at some point. Either as a performance with Miku and Teto, or maybe on his own without the cosmetics and show lights, singing to someone who needs the motivation
Peter - I won’t lie, I don’t particularly want Peter to be an endgame character, even in an alternative timeline. I think he’d continue to just be a comic relief character tho, just not so loudly during the darker parts as we get later into the story
Sans - If Sans was alive longer, sansmaeda would be able to be explored more than just during the trial and some parts before. Perhaps the relationship would cause some problems with trust, or it would change the dynamic of the group in someway (as the first sort of relationship they’ve been accustomed to). On his own, I think he’d begin to actually care about investigating himself and find some pretty useful things
Fluttershy - for Fluttershy, she’d be able to spread her kindness a lot further from when she died. Since she had her own doubts herself, however (seen in her diary), it would’ve been a good opportunity for her to receive help from others rather than just being so selfless. Also, she would’ve been able to share her drawings herself, allowing her to explain her creative process and see the others' reactions to her art
Brian - if Brian was persuaded to keep going, he’d have no regrets, more easily able to accept certain strange things and focus on what’s most important: saving everyone else. I think he’d often try to be self-sacrificial, but others would convince him they all need to stay alive together
3. I’ll continue to answer this with just DR69.
Chap 1 - add more events to the daily life. It felt kinda short, even if it was my first ever dangan chapter, and it would’ve been nice to see more events with the whole cast before one bit the dust. I’d like to see them all do something together -- maybe find a way to escape even if it backfires.
Chap 2 - this is more of a technical thing, but I accidentally forgot to have one of the three practicing the play (either The Conductor, Miku or Teto) mention they were rehearing in Classroom 1-A and not the performance hall during the night of the 2nd murder. This led to some theories believing the latter, which made me feel a bit guilty as it led some theories the wrong way.
Chap 3 - I mentioned before I wanted to also add more events to the daily life of ch3. However, I’d probably remove that um. Luigi having to be a real plumber for Peter scene because it was just gross and I only did it because I thought some people would find it funny I guess?? Like it’s not the worst thing ever but I don’t like stooping to toilet level humour often.
Chap 4 - for this chapter, I think I’d want to justify why Sans killed Peter himself. While taking on a selfless act as he didn’t want Nagito to die is alright, just Peter making fun of Papyrus doesn’t really reflect why Sans would get so mad. However, this was actually because in a very old plan I had, Peter had actually killed Papyrus himself (idk how or why but he did) and that confession would be what had led Sans into killing him. I mean I guess it could’ve been possible in a prequel type thing but it would make things more messy (also impossible considering Papyrus is alive for the albeit dead sequel)
Chap 5 - I think I would add more moments of Luigi seeing Parappa hanging out with Brian and trying to make him happy again. We only really see him trying to talk to Nagito, and not with the other two often. It would be nice to have Luigi at least know one thing they did together, making the moment it all falls apart in the trial much more harder to bear.
Chap 6 - I can’t think of much I would change here. However, I would’ve liked to add a part during the trial where Luigi reminisces on the others who have passed away, and I would add a CG of a collage of all the final moments of each character like how they did in SDR2 and NDRV3. I just think it’d look cool but painful as a reminder of all the deaths in one big image. I’d also add a CG right at the end of all 5 survivors standing together after escaping the school. I was planning to, but I got quite burned out after basically working on that final chapter so intently after such a long hiatus.
4. Hello again! I’m glad you’ve enjoyed those shows so far since I really like ‘em too. It’s nice when people check out the medias I write in my fangans!

hey I've been watching my partner play the witcher and getting really into it. are the books good?
oh man i wish i could give a normal answer to this question but unfortunately "are the books good?" is one of the great philosophical questions of our times.
I enjoyed them a lot, but i really can't recommend them without giving people a million caveats. they're ambitious in format which sometimes makes them difficult to read. the official translation is awful especially early on. they have a mild level of what i call Old Man Horny™ that you just have to pointedly ignore.
but yes overall i love them dearly!! it's an amazing story about identity and found family and fate vs free will and being pro choice and it will melt your brain. it's great!!

😊😱🤗💕 I'm throwing this right back at you for Blair, Amikel, Veronica, and Gabriel!! Love you!!
Thank you, love!!!! Love you too! 💓😘 Sorry it took me so long!!! Gabriel and Veronica really made me think...(actually a few of them did.)
😊 - something that makes your character smile?
Blair: Honestly, it’s rather easy to make her smile. Bringing her a fresh cup of coffee is a good way to go. She’s always up for one and those who know her, know her coffee order like the back of their hand. And it’s usually H.R. Wells, Cisco, or Caitlin that’s grabbing her some. Iris will when she’s around (or needs help on something she’s working on--bribes are sometimes legal, okay?), or Barry will be thoughtful and grab one if he knows he’s going to see her. Being around Leonard and Mick makes her smile too, she’s grown fond of those guys.
Amikel: Can you guess? Alcohol! That’s right, that girl smiles when yo bring her a good bottle or glass, because that means you’re trying to be in her good graces, and she can never say no to a free bottle of booze. Grogu doing shenanigans is also a thing that makes her smile, because it’s so damn amusing to her. She’s a bad influence. I’m not sure who makes Din sigh more.
Veronica: Music and stealing. There are a few things, but hanging out with friends is a go-to. She enjoys her time with Dick and Jason at the manor when she’s younger (and older, let’s be honest here). Alice also amuses the hell out of her, because she’s not at all like Harley, and it’s just...V can’t help but be mildly amused. Something that really did make her smile was helping Jason work on his bike in the Cave. Dick trying to make her smile with his light teasing will do it too, no matter how hard she fights it.
Gabriel: Playing on his guitar or going for drives(either in his Mustang or on his bike.) He smiles slightly to himself when he does that, especially if he’s alone or thinks no one is looking. He does little light chuckle and small smirk thing, and then looks down at his feet when someone makes a joke or says something he just finds funny. But seeing other people smile usually does it, especially if he really cares about that person.
😱 - something that makes your character afraid?
Blair: It terrifies the hell out of her when the people close to her are in immediate and serious danger, where their lives are very much in the balance. Her losing control of her powers scares her too, because she can become the very thing that hurts, or even kills, her friends. Both of those things have kept her up at night, mostly because she’s witnessed them firsthand. And let me just tell you, Blair doesn’t handle either of those things very well.
Amikel: At first, despite finding it a bit amusing, it’s Grogu’s gift or powers. It’s easy to assume Amikel is nothing but a washed up bounty hunter/assassin who drinks constantly...but she’s a smart person, calculating, and she doesn’t know what it is; she just knows that it’s got to be something bigger. And that terrifies her. Bigger means more trouble, and the last thing she wants is more trouble for herself, Din, or Grogu. Later of course, that fear only grows as they learn more.
Veronica: She will obviously say she’s not afraid of anything. But honestly, she’s scared that she won’t work past her anger or be any better than where she came from. She loves Selina dearly, and is thankful for everything she’s ever done. But she doesn’t want the Catwoman mantle when that time comes, she doesn’t want to be known as a Rogue, or to be a criminal. Is she an antihero? For most of her teen years and some of her young adult years, yes. But she almost kills Scarecrow...it shook her enough to realize that if she didn’t leave...she was doomed to be nothing but a criminal eventually. Veronica is terrified she won’t overcome that.
Gabriel: So...he’s afraid that all he’ll ever be good at is being a criminal, and once he gets his powers, he’s afraid that he’s also only meant to hurt people. There’s a lowkey belief that if he uses it, that it means that he’s meant for bad things because fire is so destructive...he’s seen that first hand. It’s all he’s good at. And add that to the fear of his sister never accepting him again: whether it’s because of the life of crime he had chosen or the meta powers he had gained. That bridge is burned severely (pun somewhat intended--its late, please don’t judge.) Gabriel worries that there’s no redemption for him (but we all know that Wally won’t let that happen, don’t we?)
🤗 - something that makes your character feel warm and fuzzy?
Blair: Literal fuzzy socks and warm sweaters...I’m not even kidding. You will find her (well, she surely hopes you won’t) in her underwear (pajama bottoms--shorts or pants alike) with a warm sweater and thick fuzzy socks. Most of the time with a cup of coffee or hot cocoa in her hands. But honestly, it’s when Leonard does things to show affection. He has a habit of uh...tapping her nose quickly with the tip of his finger. And that actually started out as something taunting, sarcastic, and somewhat patronizing, because Leonard is Leonard. But it grew to something he’ll do when she’s troubled or too focused on something and frustrated. It’s also words of affirmation. Especially from Leonard, Wells, Martin, Oliver, and Barry. Even Mick, if I’m being honest. It’s a nice reminder that she’s cared for and it always makes her feel good.
Amikel: The moments where Din is being a soft dad with Grogu or when Grogu is being absolutely adorable (when isn’t he, though?) She won’t admit it at all, and she might shoot you (or throw a bottle at your head) if you dare say a word about it. But Amikel hasn’t had family in a long time, that’s the closest thing she’s had and having her childhood friend back? They make her feel like she’s part of a family and is cared for.
Veronica: There are moments that she gets with Dick when they’re younger where they would just hang out on the rooftops of buildings in Gotham. It was like they were in their own little world back then, it made her feel like she had a friend that understood at least some of what she went through. They would often sit on the edge and eat from one of their favorite pizza spots in Gotham, and every time she passes it, it makes her remember it fondly. So, usually going out for pizza is a go-to with her other friends when she’s older, and she will actually take some pizza and sit on a rooftop on her own, too, on a good night on patrol.
Gabriel: His mother’s homemade meals and positive reinforcement. He’s definitely rough on the outside, but he’s soft on the inside and appreciates affection from the people close to him. Blair rustling his hair (which he moans about--but secretly likes it) or pulling him into a hug, Mick giving him a rare slap on the shoulder, or anything of that nature will make him feel a bit warm because that’s validation he wants. But celebrating his culture (with or without his family) is something that always makes him feel like a kid again, and if he’s not with his family, it makes it feel like he’s with them anyway.
💞 - something that makes your character feel loved?
Blair: When people pay attention to the little things. Most people don’t really catch most of the things she rambles about when it comes to her work, sometimes it can be hard to understand, but when people remember little details (even if they don’t understand), it makes her feel they care about her and her passions. Like how Leonard throws in how he’s paying attention or when her parents were always supportive of her scientific endeavors. Even having her science nerd friends get on board and show interest in her work means a lot to her. Actions are a big thing too, because that girl is oblivious at times, but actions speak louder than words (so Leonard can be as smooth and sarcastic as he wants, what she notices is him saving her ass on missions.)
Amikel: It’s really hard to explain, so I hope this comes out making sense, but it’s a bit complicated with her, so bear with me. Obviously you have the moments with Grogu where his attachment to her is apparent--that’s the easy answer. With Din, it’s different, and I know this might sound weird, but its his trust in her and treats her like a partner. Amikel doesn’t have the best reputation, and honestly, she’s not a very trustworthy person with the line of work she usually does. She’s not one to be fully without honor, but she’s also...well, she’s had a bounty on her head once or twice herself. So his trust in her as a partner and to trust her with the kid? Yeah, that hits a certain way.
Veronica: It’s when someone makes her feel seen. Veronica is perceived as a lot of things, some true, some not so much. There’s more to her than that, though, and it’s overseen, or she hides it more often than not. So when someone sees her despite all of that? It makes her heart race. And let me tell you, Dick Grayson sees right through her and always has (listen, he’s a damn good detective, alright? Give the boy some credit.) It makes her feel vulnerable, but in a good way when it’s with someone she trusts and loves in return, bot from friends and significant others. Alice and others making it a thing where they
Gabriel: He’s a pretty affectionate person past the hard exterior, so kisses on his cheek or forehead, and hugs (any of these could be platonic or romantic) are something that really hits him in the feels. But it’s when you make him feel...like something more, and you show that you’re not ashamed of him. It makes him feel truly loved when people can look past the criminal piece (because boy is trying to turn a new leaf--to show he’s more than the self destructive nature he’s seen as) and see him as someone worth something. Someone that cares for him for who he is and doesn’t try to make him be something he’s not, and just being there for him and believing in him. As for the affectionate piece, he loves it when you show it openly, unafraid of expressing that you care about him, despite what others feel (he’s got a bit of a rep for you know...being a criminal: thief, arsonist, hired muscle, and he dabbles in illegal street racing...he has a resume apparently...)

Hey, hey, hey. I love your Bad End AU and your art style and saw your most recent comic and thank you for the good angst. And may I ask, how do you see the Phantom Thieves of Hearts while under Yabboath's control? Is it basically the same for each Phantom Thief as Akira is in? Or is it different for the different tasks Yabboath gives them? And, if I maybe so selfish, would their outfits be similar to Akira's as well? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just really curious about your Bad End AU.
You never have to apologize for asking about my bad end au, I could talk about it for days!!! In fact...this answer got a little out of hand, so it’s under a cut to save people from scrolling fgbggg
I actually have a few different “paths” for a bad end - in the full corruption path, the thieves would be pretty similar to Akira, where they’re brought back but fully under Yaldabaoth’s control, with Akira leading them more directly. Essentially, they would be extremely shallow versions of their real selves - they have the same personalities, but none of their morals or driving forces. They keep Akira happy and he believes he still has his friends with him and agreeing with his actions, which creates an Akira that has much less of his true self surviving. The thieves here, and in the bad end au in general, are really just “supplements” so Yaldabaoth can keep the power of the Trickster under his control. They support, assist, and comfort Akira, as well as just generally keep him company. He’s very sensitive to feeling as though he’s alone or his friends have abandoned him, even when he’s corrupted, so keeping them around is advantageous to Yaldabaoth so Akira doesn’t regain his rebellion.
In the gradual corruption path, the thieves return as their normal selves and it’s only Akira’s rebellion that’s been robbed from him. Things begin relatively normally, the thieves continue doing their work, but Akira begins to change and spends more and more time on his own in Mementos. He corrupts further and further, which leads to the group fracturing as Akira becomes more of a dictator. He doesn’t sound anything like he used to and he’s no longer egalitarian, but because the threats they’re fighting keep becoming increasingly horrifying and their loyalty to Akira, the thieves continue working in a growing state of unease. Desperate to help him but not understanding what’s caused the change, the thieves begin to corrupt one by one along with him, with Ryuji and Futaba most likely being among the first to fall because of how close they are to Akira.
And just as Akira represents the Fool in reverse (taking a “sure” bet even if it sounds too good to be true to protect against the consequences of the unknown), all of the thieves degrade into their reversed positions which causes the group to crumble entirely. Ryuji no longer pushes the group forward with his passion, instead backtracking to only support all of Akira’s decisions. Futaba seals herself off and no longer offers to investigate Akira’s apparent issues - basically, she gets to the point where she only talks to him. Haru gives everything to assist Akira and make him comfortable, which adds to the support he receives from Ryuji already. Yusuke, likewise, is sapped of his own power when his objections fall on more and more deaf ears - he’s also one of the thieves that trusts in Akira the most, so he begins to give his power over to him as Akira becomes increasingly authoritarian. Makoto is swayed at this point and stops listening to her instincts telling her something is very wrong, instead keeping it to herself to keep harmony in a group that largely supports Akira without hesitation by now. And finally, Ann, disconnected from everyone else, only falls when she’s left all alone despite her misgivings. I don’t really think Morgana would be with them anymore and, if he is, it’s a fake created by Yaldabaoth to, again, keep Akira happy and in line. Goro, already on the outside of the thieves, isn’t influenced by Akira’s corruption, and so my comic can apply to this path of the AU. These two paths offer little hope of a good end, as in the first, the thieves are entirely puppets and in the second, only Goro would remain to oppose them, and he simply wouldn’t have the power to defeat them + Yaldabaoth on his own...though I think he would try, since his life is borrowed at that point anyway.
And then there’s the “good” end path, which I sort of went with for the comic! The thieves all recognize something is wrong with Akira, discussing it among themselves and trying to seek a solution with no place to start. They try to reign him in gently, but Akira begins to move on his own, eventually disappearing for days at a time and when he returns, it’s like another piece of him is missing. He spends more time in the Metaverse than he does in reality and, one day, he never comes back (He takes up residence in Mementos, where I imagine Yaldabaoth keeps him company with his cognitive version of the thieves. Akira, in this state, is so far gone that he believes them to be real). The thieves are scared he’s dead or possibly worse, so they go into Mementos to search for him, but they find it far more hostile without him now. They have to take several passes at it, and on one of these missions, they run into Goro fighting through Mementos on his own. They’re shocked to find him alive, but he tells them it’s all Akira’s doing (he’s more clued in since he was literally resurrected, rather just being saved through altering cognition), and he’s furious with the decision. He refuses to work with the thieves, who are looking for Akira to attempt to reason with him after they hear his explanation of what he did. Goro believes he’s beyond redemption with what he’s done, considering it a betrayal toward himself, the Phantom Thieves, and the entire public at large, so he’s therefor abandoned his justice. The scene in the comic comes after Goro manages to travel through the whole of Mementos to find Akira, who explains his choices and his deal with Yaldabaoth, furthering Goro’s hatred of him in this state. He definitely tries to kill him but it’d be near impossible to succeed on his own given he’d be fighting Akira and Yaldabaoth (yea I’m a sucker for “everybody lives” but if Goro did succeed, I can see it either 1. Slowly degrading Yaldabaoth’s control but never really enough to make a real change - there would just be some people that manage to escape his prison but are lost in a world without free will or 2. Reality destabilizing to a dangerous point). This allows the thieves to make it to him in an attempt at a rescue mission where they would try to get him back to reality in order to break some of Yaldabaoth’s control over him. However...in this state, Akira isn’t exactly suited to existing in reality, which leads to a lot of unforeseen consequences as the thieves try to find their leader in the puppet Yaldabaoth’s turned him into. Goro doesn’t believe he exists any more in any meaningful way and even if he did, he figures it’s pointless to try to draw him out - Goro no longer believes Akira would be strong enough to bear the weight of his guilt.
Wow ok that was long but!!! I’m just very passionate about the bad end and I’m so glad you like my ideas for it ;o; Thank you for letting me ramble and for your sweet words!!! It means a lot to me esp since I was really excited about making the comic!!
