oh also little oc update.. I have figured iut what 2 do abt the souls thang and the solution is to recycle ANOTHER idea from a different worldbuilding project so yes

How I feel downloading DOSBox, actually figuring out how to use DOSBox, and adding some fuckass audio driver to my decrepit and dying laptop to play Sam&Max Hit the Road
#i am admittedly not the most uber computer person#but i do pride myself in getting emulators and other weird game stuff to work despite not knowing a single thing on how they actually run#which i guess i had to figure out considering how much i use them#and um. whatever an SDL_AUDIODRIVER (Directsound) is. yaa thats what i added to it. so lets hope it doesnt blow up or smthing#BUT ANYWAY. Samnmax on the brain recently thank you Youtube recs#i'll be honest#i actually only knew it as that LucasArts point&click adventure game. learning it came from a comic and yk. a tv show and more games is uhh#...very embarrassing for me lmaoooo#but whatevssss#only p&c game I've played is Grim Fandango so. in weird p&c mechanics terms it cant be THAT different? i imagine?
