Hi. I haven’t used Tumblr in such a long time. It's kinda weird. Last time was two years ago...

I went to Valencia in Spain a few months later. Some parts of it reminded me of the Citadel. I wanted to write about it here, but I couldn’t. I couldn’t really come back here because I couldn’t play the game. I couldn’t concentrate at all, couldn’t finish a simple mission, couldn’t just “play”. I’m still in my first Legendary playthrough if you can believe it. I was losing something that brought me joy and didn’t really know what to do.

And the long story short about my time away: I got a Master’s degree while still working (evening & weekend classes). It’s fairly recent, I learned in June that I got a "Grande Distinction" (with great distinction? idk how to translate it well in English, it's just one of the highest marks). So that was nice :)

Less nice: I got a severe pulmonary embolism in November. My lungs are okay but I have to deal with daily hyperventilation now, which means I’m quite tired and need to make an appointment soon for respiratory physiotherapy. If you’re wondering, I don’t smoke and I’m fairly active. What else? I’m about to self-publish (finally!!!) my collection of short stories in French. Mom helped me yesterday, we ordered printed books. So I'm still writing. Reading and knitting all the time. And I’m still working at the same job I was working at, and I’m happy there, though it can be demanding and I have to be careful not to overwork myself.

In the end, I did manage to come back to the game and finish a mission. Not only that, but I played more missions, and that was a real "omg I can do it" moment. And the more I play, the more I want to talk about it. So there you have it, I hope I can come back and just try to enjoy myself in a chill way. I don't know how long, we'll see. I think time has helped me, at least, to look at things differently. I don't want to feel any type of obligation. I want to do things for fun because it's fun, and let that be enough.

It’s been so long, the fandom has probably changed a lot. Some people might be gone. I’ll reintroduce myself one way or another, but right now I’ll just find stuff I like to reblog and talk about all the ideas that come to mind. Bear with me if it has been said recently or so many times before. I just feel like starting all over again and I missed a lot of posts. My memory isn't what it's used to be either tbh...

Finally, I hope you’re all doing well. Thank you to the people who sent me messages. One person wrote that they missed me. I don’t know who they are, it was anon, but that really moved me, because I really did miss this community and all the discussions we had. I also miss, as always, Dustie who has been gone for a while now.

Finally watched Caped Crusader and I have ✨thoughts���.

Oswalda is straight up iconic. Loved every scene with her. I actually laughed out loud when the dude goes "Thorne got you to kill the wrong son?" and she responds "Not that!" I'd let her lock me in a suitcase and throw me in the sea. She gets a gold star ��

I like that we get to see Selina's origin. I like the classic suit. That's kinda it though. A bit sad that Bruce didn't feel any connection with her. Just not a huge fan of her character here. She doesn't feel like Selina (a problem most of this show faces tbh).

I was loving the Harley stuff. The bit with Renee was so cute, and I love that she really was passionate about helping Bruce move past his trauma. I really like that she's Barbara's friend. Was really upset at the fakeout death but at least she was just joshin. The villain stuff felt like fetishes which like okay. I guess Bruce needed to put in something to replace BruceBabs. Anyway, that's the final dig towards him. As much as this Harley episode wasn't my favorite, a promise is a promise. Although I do gotta ask, WHY CAN'T RENEE CATCH A BREAK IN HER LOVE LIFE >:(((

No fucking way the moral of episode 7 was "the system is totally not screwed, it's just a few bad apples and also a criminal is a criminal and should be jailed". Barbara literally says the system sucks cause the cops can do what they want and get in anyone's pockets and then nearly gets killed by a cop and then they end it with "actually, I think you do"?! I mean yeah that specific guy deserved prison but ending it on that note of Barbara feeling betrayed and confused on her morals tells a very not-so-delightful message. Glad the show backtracks on all that immediately but it's still weird and definitely could've used some revising to fit in with the rest.

Onomatopeia was awesome though. I remember people claiming his shtick couldn't work when he appeared in Superman and Lois. They said that it only worked in comics and would be too silly out loud. Happy to report that they're wrong.

I feel like I'm the only one who was excited to see Waylon but that's okay cause I got enough excitement for everyone. Love to see my mans kicking the shit out of potential perverts. You go, Waylon!

Dick, Jason, Steph, and Carrie. Definitely an interesting combination. But it's also so nice to see a Jason who grew up in a different environment and is therefore adorable with no rage in his heart. As opposed to Carrie who was ready to kick some ass. The ending to episode 8 really understood Batman, what with him saying he can't leave her there, carrying her and shielding her under the cape, and then asking about her later.

The Harvey bit is kinda cool but 1, I've always been iffy on the shotty DID stuff and 2, I think they coulda gone further. Just watch The Long Halloween for a better Two Face plot.

I like Harvey helping that guy get his stuffed animal back. That was a nice small character moment. If we had more stuff like that and Bruce being unable to confess his emotions to Alfred, I think this whole thing would be better. This one made up for episode 7's little message by having Barbara tell Harvey that it's not so cut and dry and that he deserves help too. I'm glad they went back to that after the whole "sometimes things are black and white" bit. Batman is about helping people just as much as Superman is and I feel like sending a message that "nope, bad is bad and he should just punch people" doesn't fit the entire thesis of Batman.

This finale really encapsulates how this show doesn't quite understand the character of Batman. It may be comic-accurate for him to be an asshole and put on the voice randomly, treat Alfred like crap, and randomly break character with stuff like "don't start growing a conscience now, Dent" but as I said it goes against the whole thesis. This is more along the lines of the Nolan films with the "Bruce Wayne is the mask" bit. And we all know how I feel about those films.

And then it ends on a boring cliffhanger with the boss guy and then a shitty Joker teaser. Boo.

In short, this show is good but it's not anything special. I do really like the classic Batman aesthetic, but that's pretty much it. It doesn't really understand the characters like MAWS and WFA, the overarching plot is kind of uninteresting and it doesn't feel like we're building up to something great. I feel like this show really wanted to use the episodic style to take a look at all these different elements of Gotham's world with references to existing characters and aspects. But whereas MAWS smoothly slid those into its narrative and setting, this just kinda feels like a villain of the week show instead of working towards this grand narrative. And that can be a good thing, I mean I'm a Scooby Doo fan for crying out loud, but in this scenario, it just doesn't work that exceptionally. If it gets a season 2, I'll probably watch it. But this isn't something I'd be excitedly waiting to see new episodes of.

Hey there! Just wanna know, what the heck happened in the JJK manga? Is it already over? Did the characters FINALLY mourn Gojo?! I gave up trying to read the manga after 236, so I just decided to randomly hear from others. But anyways, what happened??

Hey there! BOY AM I HAPPY TO DISCUSS THAT.

(I'm sorry I have so many thoughts and you've given me an excuse to ramble so this is going to be long)

There are two chapters left in the manga, it will end on September 30th. The chapter that just came out, chapter 269, was, however, really bad imo and a terrible use of time considering how little time Gege has left. I get that he had to wrap up quick, but in my personal opinion, it's inexplicable that he'd dedicate a whole chapter to what we just saw.

Okay, so, the characters spend half the chapter arguing about how they could have done a better job fighting Sukuna, even though at this point, the losses are minimal. Most of the characters who were possibly dead are fine and dandy actually (Yuta, Higuruma, Todo, Kusakabe). Choso is still dead, but he gets a little line about how that's sad (and his death scene was really good and effective, so I'm not that mad about it, even if he's a character I really loved).

It kinda feels like Gege is justifying the way the fight went, which is a bit weird. In story, I think this could make sense if it was fueled by grief and loss and more of a "this person could have been saved! and this person didn't have to die!", but it feels kind of matter of fact tbh, with Maki being pretty much the only one displaying emotions. Even she seems to be arguing about efficiency, not really about saving human lives? Other characters' responses aren't much better. Yuuji in particular looks like he's super numb to everything, which again, yes, that's a trauma response, but it doesn't make for interesting storytelling and it's not going to be explored further, so... what's the point.

Also think that Yuta desecrating Gojo's corpse isn't explored enough. He did something horrifying that turned to not be that useful — going with the manga's message that the end doesn't justify the means — and he seems fine. I guess Maki yelling at him could be explained by the fact that she was strongly against this action, but it's never made explicit, which is a shame. (think it's more implied it's because he endangered himself and she has feelings for him)

The other half of the chapter is spent on a plot point that I don't think had been developed before that, about the new shadow style. This feels like the last arc Gege wanted to have and Sukuna's fight went on for too long so he had to scrap it. The point is essentially that the head of the new shadow style school is trying to become the head of Jujutsu Society as a whole now that the clans have collapsed. There was a binding vow that made it so the head of the school could steal years from people who had learned the style and add it to their lifespan. Anyway, Mei Mei steps in and makes it so the style can become more widely used.

(If you're bored reading that, yeah, so was I)

It's not useless exactly — it definitely goes towards the manga's message of ending the cycle and starting off with a clean slate, so that's a win — but it feels super rushed. It didn't have to be rushed, could have been a decent arc, it just isn't, and again, I don't think that's a great use of pages this late in the story.

Last but not least, Gojo. Gojo gets two mentions in this chapter.

The second one is in passing, when Hakari defends Yuta's usefulness.

And the first one, oooh boy the first one,

is about how this was all Gojo's fault from the get-go anyway 😃

And again, some nuance here. Kusakabe specifically says that the kids have nothing to apologize for — which I agree with. His point is that it was Gojo's responsibility to kill Yuuji. Essentially, the idea is that he was the adult, and in not doing that, he's responsible for the kids having to live with all the consequences of his actions.

Which aaaaah I'm losing it here! Yuuji was a victim of Kenjaku's machinations from the get-go, so would it have been right to kill him? Isn't this just a trolley problem — kill Yuuji and save innocent people's lives? But then, Yuuji, Sukuna and Kenjaku's actions led to the end of jujutsu society as we know it, more or less directly, which could lead to a better future, so was he actually right, in a purely consequentialist approach?

I don't think any of that is particularly interesting to discuss at this point tbh. I feel like that had already been dealt with. I'm just deeply confused as to why we're dealing with this when there were three chapters left before this one instead of focusing on closing the curtain on beloved characters, Gojo in particular.

Anyway! Bad chapter imo. Boring. Bad use of the characters and their relationships with one another. Really questionable use of time. Gojo was not mourned and in fact it's almost like he's never existed or never mattered to anyone. No Shoko here, not a hint of sadness from Yuta either, which I had hoped for.

I'm still looking forward to the last two chapters, and I hope they'll leave more room for the characters to, you know, have feelings.

sooo let's say this is a sequel to my previous drabble.. the two have a weird friends with benefits situation that they kinda refuse to label because that'd just complicate things and they just wanna get their dicks wet.

coriolanus.. is fucking obsessed unfortunately. now he understands why his other male peers talk about sex so much. it does feel fucking incredible. sure, they're talking about fucking girls and his only experience is getting absolutely railed by his best friend.. but it's still sex, so...

they're back at sejanus' place for the night. sleepovers have gotten a lot more common between the two.. wonder why. sejanus' parents are out on some business trip, leaving the two boys alone.. you already see where i'm going with this.

they've already fucked once and are now just kinda lazily making out, tracing each others bodies. coriolanus is a very, very quick learner, they've come to find out. so, naturally, it comes up in conversation.

"i want you to ride me." sejanus blurted out. coriolanus pulled away from him, obviously caught off guard by the sudden request. "i think you'd be good at it.. based on everything else i've seen."

"i– that's, uh.." coriolanus laughed nervously, trying to ignore the ball of fire building up in his stomach. ".. i mean i can try.."

"i'd like for you to.." sejanus kissed his shoulder. "think you'd look so pretty on top of me.." another kiss. "so goddamn pretty." praise was a weak spot of coriolanus', something the brunette knew all too well and took advantage of whenever he could.

"mm.. fine.. but you're gonna have to show me how.." coriolanus sighed.

"always do." sejanus kissed the tip of his nose before laying back. carefully, he grabbed coriolanus by his waist and brought him on top of him. "still feeling ready from earlier?" coriolanus nodded.

"alright.. quite simple really.. first, we gotta get you down.." slowly, he guided his legs to the side. "then you just– ah, like that, yeah.." coriolanus sank down onto him with a breathy sigh, eyes already half lidded. "you're a fucking natural.."

"then..?"

"then.. comes the riding.. you need me to help or-?"

"no, no.. think i.. i should be able to do it.." coriolanus gave a tentative shift of his hips, groaning when he felt just how damn deep he had sejanus inside of him. he gave another shift.. then another..

his rhythm was a little uncalculated and clumsy, but it felt good.. that's all that mattered, right? he tried to focus on that, anyway.

and sejanus just had to open his big fat mouth. "look at you.. bouncing on me like a whore." he managed between grunts. "i've really ruined you, haven't i..?"

"you– you love to hear yourself talk, huh?" coriolanus shot back, earning a sharp thrust from the other. fair.

"don't act like you don't love it." sejanus dug his nails into coriolanus' thighs, leaving angry red marks in his pale skin. "you know i'm right.. turned you into a little whore, huh? just can't get enough of this.."

he'd never let sejanus get the satisfaction of hearing him say it, but.. he was right. he was hooked. coriolanus felt his legs begin to ache from all of the bouncing and reshifting, the pleasant ball of heat in his stomach beginning to extinguish. sejanus noticed too. "something wrong, baby?"

coriolanus shook his head no, sucking down a deep breath. ".. 'm fine."

".. you can if you want." was all he'd give him.

and within seconds, sejanus had coriolanus laying on his stomach, face down with his back arched in just the right way to hit all of the right spots. it was nearly pitiful how easily coriolanus was reduced to a sobbing mess, begging just for the sake of it.

"getting dicked down by the district boy.. what would the others think?" sejanus taunted him when all was said and done.

ANYWAYS I was thinking about this mlm-ass hoodie everyone is talking about, and I need to yap about my own headcanon about it. Bear with me!!!

So tbh this seems like...a really weird wardrobe choice to me. Miguel is, imho, the closest thing this cast of characters has to a Token Straight Guy™️. (Like I know I kinda ship him with Demetri or in a poly Miguetreli arrangement, but I'm mostly clowning! It's kind of an AU for me because to me he doesn't actually read as queer in canon.)

So here's what I'm thinking: This is not a hoodie Miguel Diaz bought. It was a gift from Demetri.

If anyone's been following me for a while, they might have heard me talk about how I think queerness runs in Demetri's family. He seems to have a single mom, and he's never once mentioned his dad. It's very much giving "lesbian woman who didn't realize her sexuality until she already had a kid with a man, for better or for worse." And Demetri's dad being gone...maybe he left Demetri's mom because he was gay??? Or left her FOR a man, perhaps??? I think Demetri's parents 100% had him during a lavender marriage they may or may not have even REALIZED was a lavender marriage.

Anyways, these are just my wild little headcanons, but I do think Demetri's mom has always known he's gay. She sees a lot of herself and Dem's dad in him, and she doesn't want him to make the same mistakes she did and wait until middle age to finally accept his sexuality. SO, naturally, she starts trying to nudge him toward...Realizing Some Things. Including buying and gifting him a fucking gay flag hoodie. Because, like her son, Mrs. Alexopoulos lacks any and all subtlety.

Demetri realizes what she's trying to do, but he pretends he doesn't. He's all "Wow! Thanks! I love the colors!" and then proceeds to never wear this item of clothing to school ever because the poor man gets bullied for enough already. He wears it in private and maybe to the grocery store or something, but not where he'll be around other kids (except maybe Eli, who he has definitely bitched about this at length to. "UGH, why does everyone think I am gay, I am NOT gay!!! I like women, Eli!!! I totally want Yasmine to spit in my face!!! I also want to make out with and exchange handjobs with women, I promise!!! No, I'm not getting defensive!!!"). Hence why we have not seen The Gay Flag Hoodie until now.

Flash forward to The Karate Wars. Demetri has started training on the regular and has grown MASSIVELY, especially his fucking shoulders. Tragically, they are now too broad and jacked and he is too much of an Absolute Unit to fit into the mlm flag hoodie anymore 💔 But it's still perfectly good!!! Quite comfortable and honestly barely worn! So what does Demetri do????

He gives it to his bestie like the generous closeted hero he is.

Miguel is aware he's wearing the mlm flag, by the way. He is okay with this. This is his way of showing he's an ally! Although it WOULD lead to a very amusing conversation with Sam when they first meet up to train.

Okay you seem like a pretty good person to ask about queer platonic relationships. I don’t really know all that much about them but honestly it seems like a pretty fluid thing so there's not much to define or know anyway.

My main question is are queerplatonic relationships only for aros/aces?

I am a lesbian, not on the aro/ace spectrum and I am very comfortable with this. However, I seem to have gotten into a qpr and I wondered. Neither of us have gone and said we're in a qpr because labels are not generally our thing, but we know how eachother feel and it seems to line roughly up with a qpr.

She is ace. You would think that I would start developing sexual feelings towards her, but I've known her for 6 years and been incredibly close for 2, so I think sexual feelings would have come by now. But they haven't. I do know I love her to the moon and back. I want to spend my whole life with her and let her fall asleep in my arms, but I don't want to kiss her or anything. She is my most precious person and I'd do anything for her.

To be perfectly honest, even though I'm not ace my sex drive has never been the highest and its not something I'd miss incredibly. Like yeah it's nice, but so are doughnuts and I could live without doughnuts. Weird analogy but whatever.

I've never had the greatest grip on platonic and romantic feelings, but I'm pretty sure what I feel for her is not romantic but beyond platonic. This person makes me the happiest I have ever been in my life, and I could genuinely not imagine getting a girlfriend because I know no one would be more important to me than her.

But tbh, at the end of the day I kinda actually do not care what she is to me because I'm incredibly happy and I know what I feel is reciprocated. Sorry for waffling I wanted someone to rant to.

Rick and Morty: The Anime ranking!

Oh god I dreaded this day. Sooo if you wanna see me angrily ranting about a cartoon, this is the post for you! I will be ranking every episode of the Rick and Morty anime! Just to be clear, I'm not gonna do tiers like how I did for the show, since in comparison to the actual show, all of these would be F tier or AT BEST D tier, so just keep in mind in comparison to the actual show, these are Fs, I will still try to be detailed with the reviews though. Also I had to torture myself to rewatch the anime for this ranking, I hope you guys are happy, I had to force my eyeballs open Clockwork Orange style, y'all just want to see me suffer. I had to drink coffee to get through this because this was so bad and I needed some engry cause this was so soul sucking that it took all of my motivation. AND I DON'T EVEN FUCKING DRINK COFFEE BECAUSE IT'S TOO BITTER! I HOPE YOU GUYS ARE HAPPY! YOU DID THIS! (Just kidding, I love y'all mwah!) Ok now that I'm done bitching and moaning, let's get this going by continuing to bitch and moan about the anime! Now, I am aware that some people like the anime, and if you do, that's perfectly fine! Not everyone HAS to have the same opinion as me, I mean this is just a cartoon anyway, buttttt if you do like it, I would suggest skipping this post since my opinion on it is uhhh very negative especially if you like Elle, I will be very mean to her, this post will be an extermely unhinged rant, so please enjoy while I suffer! Spoilers for the anime ahead! Reviews under the cut! Unlike my previous tier list, I will be starting from the best and working my way down, let's get this started!

1. Fighting Mother. This is the best episode of the series! That being said it's still...not...good...I mean let's start off with the positives, the reason why this episode is the best one is because the animation for the combat is really good! Especially the animation in the fight scene between Space Beth and Tammy it's admittedly really smooth, like I kid you not it's actually...good! I feel like it's what the anime COULD'VE been but just...wasn't, it sucks because it could've been good but it just...isn't. This episode is mercifully short, being only 17 minutes. And baby Morty is adorable. I also do like Shaggy Rick, I feel like his character is legitimately interesting, too bad they didn't do as much as they could've done with it. Space Beth was also admittedly likable. Also Elle isn't here! Yayyyy! FUCK ELLE! Also, the music for the fight scene between Space Beth and Tammy fucking SLAPS! I just wish the fight scene was longer tbh. Ok anyway onto the negatives, the side plot between the Ricks are...fine...I guess, I've got no opinion on it, it's just kinda boring. I don't like the weird moral high ground Rick takes, why is he bothered at all by Shaggy Rick "throwing that family away"? Also...how is Shaggy Rick throwing that family away? Am I dumb or what? Also, NO THE RICK FROM THE ANIME IS NOT C-137! SAY SIKE RN! Also the ending is so random and anti climatic. And this is the first instance of them turning Morty into a pathetic little bitch boy and Rick being an asshole with no charmisa, charm, humor, or anything that made him my favorite character in the first place, all he is is that slightly grumpy old man all of the girl scouts hate being assigned at the nursing home! Woowee I love it when my favorite characters are derailed and turned into twisted shadows of their former self written by a bad fanfic don't you!?

2. Alien Elle. You know the episode is gonna suck when Elle's name is in the title. Fucking ELLE! Stupid fucking self-insert mary sue...ok, ok, being mean...lemme start with the positives! Uh...Shaggy Rick is back...so uhm...that's cool I guess. I also like how we get a canon Morty birthday, also...MORTY'S HEIGHT IS DIFFERENT IN THE ANIME! SEE?! THAT'S PROOF THAT THAT'S NOT MY BOY! (I-I mean I know it's space Morty but please shut up...) Either that or the anime writers didn't watch the show before making the anime....nahhhh of COURSE they watched the show that's why the show is so much like the anime right....? Righhtttttttt? (Watching the anime fucking sucks please kill me) Also, I'm sure this was unintentional, but the scene where Morty is looking for Elle kinda parallels the scene where Rick is looking for Prime, so that's cool! I mean even down the Morty printing a picture Elle out of his head like how Rick did with Prime! Too bad I care so little about Elle. Okay! Onto the negatives! Fucking ELLE! She HAD to ruin the episode, of course she randomly earns someone's trust because her style is just wonderful! Even though they didn't even know a damn thing about each other! This episode is so goddamn BORING! Like it bores me out of my mind, like most of the anime but still. Elle and Morty's relationship is again very rushed and boring. They are the reason why the rule "Show, don't tell" exists! It tells us about how happy and amazing Elle is and how much Morty loves her without showing it to us, and Morty is just reduced to being Elle's proud boyfriend, I mean he isn't even doing good things because he's just a good natured kid, it's all for FUCKING ELLE IT SUCKS IT SUCKS SO BAD! I don't like the rants they go on about multiverse, they try too hard to sound smart. And Space Morty and Rick's dynamic is just...kinda lame honestly, it's just a cliche mentor-student relationship that's been protrayed hundreds of times before, which is huge wasted potential, you could've grappled more with Shaggy Rick's guilt since he feels like he's replacing his original Morty who died, that could've been some serious interesting internal conflict that coul;d've fleshed him out as a character! But nope! All he does is tell Morty not to call him grandpa andddd...that's it! OH WOW I LOVE THIS ANIME SO MUCH DON'T YOU ALL OF THE CHARACTERS ARE TOTALLY HUMAN AND COMPLEX AND NOT AT ALL SEEM LIKE THEY ARE FORM A BAD FANFIC I LOVE THIS ANIME DON'T YOU?! This episode also sucks! But I mean, it didn't infuriate me as much as I thought it would, it mostly just bored me out of my school, this episode probably would've been better if it wasn't for FUCKING ELLE! FUCK ELLE! ALL MY HOMIES HATE ELLE! Although that can be said for any episode of the anime so eh.

3. Family. UGHHH WHY IS THIS EPISODE 21 MINUTES JUST LET ME DIE NOW PLEASE! Uhh on the plus side, YAY WE GET MINIMUM ELLE IN THIS EPISODE! I mean…she's still here but at least she doesn't do much. Jerry and Jerry Prime are…fine…even though I care very little about Jerry's superhero arc. Now onto the negatives! This episode doesn't have a lot of positives, but it doesn't have a lot of negatives either, it's just a boring, unmemorable episode. Rick and Morty do interact, but it's just kinda boring and it sucks how they can make their dynamic boring, Morty is a damsel in distress, Rick is a boring character, Jerry is just a goofy dad who's also a superhero…for some reason…they also make Jerry pathetic but eh…I mean at least they are trying to do something that the original show did…why is a weird green guy here? What purpose does he bring to the story? And some of the dialogue feels unnatural, Mr. Nimbus is here, but he doesn't do much, at least his character wasn't assassinated like my boys. I know it tried for a happy family, but I care so little for this version of the Smith family that I felt nothinggg! Really this episode is just boring, but at least it's not infuriatingly bad.

4. When we Meet in our Dreams. This episode is just another boring one. There's not a whole lotta positives, but I guess Space Beth was ok. And so was Shaggy Rick, still wasted potential though. He could've been SO much more interesting. I mean the story here at least made some amount of sense, like I was actually able to follow along! A rare treat in the anime! There's a lot of action, but none of it is particularly interesting in my personal opinion. Elle is here and she sucks but she doesn't have a lot of screentime, so she doesn't make the episode suck as much as she usually does. But of FUCKING course Space Morty's last words are "I love you Elle" EVEN THOUGH HIS MOM AND GRANDPA ARE RIGHT FUCKING THERE BUT NOPE HE JUST WANTED TO TALK TO ELLE! I really did not care about his death and it's anti climatic, but it could've been worse I guess, I just care very little about Space Morty since he's only been in a handful of episodes. Elle like sacrifices herself to save Morty? I dunno it's very convoluted and stupid. This episode is just kinda boring, but at least it isn't infuriating.

5. The Girl Who Manipulates Time. I…am so confused…why was there an alternate version of Summer if she's never seen or heard from again…w-why is she here? Why was that needed? I mean..I guess the gay drama between alien bureaucrats are…fine…I mean it's one of the only entertaining things about the anime…so uh…there's that. Wait wait no start with the positives…uhhhh I like the theme song, I mean that's a positive about every episode but this was the first time we see it, and I hate that it's actually really good…like I'm sorry but it might actually be better than the show's theme song, but of course fucking ELLE is in every single frame. Fuck Elle fr. But whatever, the theme song's good! It does a good job hyping you up. The backgrounds here are admittedly really pretty. Uhm…I guess every character is…ok? I mean they are all kinda boring but…they aren't…unlikable. I will give this some leeway, since first episodes tend to be a little iffy. Now onto the negatives! The plot is extremely basic, it's been done a million times, being stuck in a simulation, Tron, Die Now, Free Guy…need I go on? This episode introduces a boring side character that only gets brought up in this episode and the finale, and no, you do not need to watch this episode to understand his role in the finale, he literally just exists here to pad out run time and he is so forgettable I can't remember his name, I just watched this episode and I don't remember. Elle unconsensually kisses Morty so that is not big fun, and she like…never gets called out for this? It's just acted like some normal thing people in healthy relationships do? Like no bitch, DON'T KISS SOMEONE WHO CLEARLY DOESN'T REMEMBER YOU! Also Rick so clearly doesn't care about Morty in the anime, I'm sorry, he literally didn't care enough to make sure Morty could come back from the game no matter how deep he got, #notmyrick. This is embarrassing for a Rick fan like me, this isn't my favorite character ok!? I refuse to believe my Rick and the Rick from the anime are the same person. The story is confusing but it's trying to make you think it's smart by using smart people words, but it doesn't work and makes it more confusing. And of course, Rick and Morty don't interact, which is a trend in the anime. What? You thought Rick and Morty would interact in a show called RICK AND MORTY THE ANIME!? No! Of course not! Don't be stupid! A-also how…how can Elle not tell that our Morty isn't space Morty? S-she can tell the future…why…why are you even giving her that power if she isn't going to use it…? Plothole ahoy! Also…who's gonna tell the writers of the anime that being able to manipulate time and being able to tell the future isn't the same thing…? Also of fucking course Elle's ridiculously over powered…also her and Morty's relationship is extremely forced. Anyways, this episode sucks. Shitty start for a shitty series, it's fitting, really.

6. Memories. Another mercifully short episode! Only 18 minutes! Let's get the positives out off the way first! I did feel like Jerry was pretty in character, although I kinda dislike how all they made him was a goofy dad- wait. positives. I need to talk about the positives…uhhhh Summer was fine I guess…I like how they didn't do any weird clone shit with the Beths, although I feel like they could've expanded more on the tension between them, uhm…I liked how it showed the conflict between Beth and Jerry's marriage, even if they ended up doing nothing with it!! Uhhh Shaggy Rick has 1 good scene where he thought about his dead Morty so that's cool ig…they still do nothing with it though. YAY WHAT A GREAT ANIME! THE CHARACTERS ARE SO COMPLEX! Morty isn't made into a pathetic bitch boy! But he is made into just being Elle's proud boyfriend..hm. Ok onto the negatives! Rick and Morty interact but it fucking SUCKS! Rick is just an asshole to Morty and not in a lovable way, I mean he literally threatened to CLONE MORTY IN THEIR FIRST MINUTE OF MEETING WHAT THE FUCK! And Morty of course doesn't say anything because he can't stand up for himself in the anime I guess. They try too hard to make emotional moments, like with Morty and Shaggy Rick, but they only had one episode, so the amount I care about their relationship is very, VERY little. Shaggy Rick is infinite wasted potential, I get they want to have mutiple storylines, but I am just confused. ELLE IS FUCKING HERE AGAIN BEING A FUCKING MARU SUE AND GIVING THE CHARACTERS THE ADVICE THEY NEED OF FUCKING COURSE AND EVERYONE TRUSTS HER WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT EVEN FUCKING RICK WHO'S WHOLE THING IS THAT HE HAS TROUBLE TRUSTING OTHER PEOPLE! AND OF COURSE SHE FUCKING SAVES RICK! BECAUSE SHE"S PERFECT AND AMAZING SHE"S SUCH A SHITTY FUCKING CHARACTER! AND EVERYONE IN THE FAMILY FUCKING TRUSTS HER AND LOVES HER INSTANTLY AND WHY IS BETH SO FUCKING DUMB WHY LET A COMPLETE STRANGER LIVE WITH YOU AND SLEEP IN YOUR SON'S ROOM YOU KNOW THEY ARE DATING AND YOU KNOW WHAT TEENAGERS DO YOU FUCKING IDIOT AND HOW CAN ELLE NOT TELL THAT THIS ISN'T SPACE MORTY SHE CAN TELL THE FUTURE HAVE HER USE IT FUCK NO I WON'T TAKE MY ANGER MEDS FUCK OFF

7. Feel, Don't Think. This episode fucking sucks. WHY IS IT 20 MINUTES! Again, no positives so let's just angrily rant about the episode together! Unless you like this episode in that case uh…I'm sorry. Elle is again worshipped, the stakes are very low but they are supposed to be high, I just care very little about these characters, Morty is turned into a pathetic little bitch boy, Rick is just an asshole with no depth, I mean…at least the story made sense? But that really shouldn't be a positive. Rick and Morty do interact, but it wasn't anything great, Rick is just an asshole and regresses back to how he was in season 4 of the show, which fucking sucks. They make a puberty joke with Morty that just wasn't funny, and again I care very little about Elle, I fucking hate that bitch, can we stop focusing on her? Please? No? We still got 2 episodes to go…ughhhh…just kill me now.

8. A Pain in the Back. This episode was a pain in the back to get through (Heh, heh. Funny joke.) A very Elle heavy episode...whatever this is the finale..let's just get this over with so I can watch something good and be done with this anime...ok so one positive..gay representation! Frank, yeah that was the forgettable guy's name, has a thing for Morty...why is this anime so romance heavy? Whatever, even though nothing happens, it's still kinda cool to see, but for some reason Morty keeps going out of his way to spend time with him despite being married to Elle, yeah he marries Elle and despite Morty having 2 adults models, they just use him as a kid for some reason, Morty isn't a pathetic bitch boy, but he's just a boring stupid character. Rick suddenly cares about Morty now...because that was what the show does so we have to do it but we have to do it significantly worse! It feels so forced and unnatural because Rick never cared about Morty until the plot demanded it, I mean he literally hesitated and told Elle not to be stupid when she told him to do something that will save Morty last episode, A Rickle in Time? That episode never existed silly! You're just making stuff up in your head again! (I AM GASLIGHTING YOU!) And the ending tries to be impactful but it solves nothing, I did find it kind of funny that nobody cared when Elle died though since it was meant to be an emotional moment when it happened but it wasn't enough to save this dumpster fire of a finale.

9. Her Innermost Wish. This episode again fucking sucks, Elle dies and I legit feel nothing. Morty is so fucking pathetic, he cries 10 times in this episode. Space Beth for some reason can't fathom why someone like Elle would want to date MORTY because Elle is perfect because ofc she is. I care very little about Elle and Space Morty but they try to make us emotional but it doesn't work. Elle is surprised that Morty isn't Space Morty b-but…she can tell the future..I h-how did she not know MAKE YOUR ANIME MAKE SENSE WHY DID YOU EVEN MAKE IT THAT ELLE CAN TELL THE FUTURE IT LITERALLY DOES NOTHING AT ALL AND JUST ADDS A HUGE GLARING PLOTHOLE AND THIS IS COMING FROM SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T NOTICE PLOTHOLES. Rick and Morty hug, but it feels so empty because they barely even interacted and Rick showed no sign of caring about Morty. And again, STOP FOCUSING ON ELLE I DON'T CARE ABOUT HER BITCH ASS! Oh god they're aren't going to stop…I wanna die

10. Free Will. No...god no please no..no...NOOOO! I was dreading this episode I promise you, it is SO BAD! UGHH WHY IS IT SO LONG 19 MINUTES!? WHYYY! I'll be honest, there really isn't any positives, so I'll just rant about this episode, good? Good. Why is Tammy in the opening? it does nothing and contributes nothing it's just there to pad out the run time. Oh boy I love filler! Elle fucking sucks as usual, if you weren't convinced she's a mary sue now, you will be convinced after this episode, everyone praises Elle and talks about how amazing she is, Beth talks about how much she likes the girl, she's already popular at school, they try to surprise you by revealing that Elle is anti-matter but I literally wasn't surprised at all, there is also no foreshadowing but they treat it like some super cool reveal. And basically she is anti matter and unless Rick gets rid of some device, the world will slowly deterorate because matter and anti matter can't exist in the same place, and this was the PERFECT chance to give Elle SOME personality but nope! Whatever Rick decides to do is fine because she's happy that she got to meet Morty! THIS EPISODE IS SO FUCKING BAD AH! It's centered around fucking ELLE. If you decide to watch the anime, please, PLEASE skip this episode! It is bad I promise! Don't waste 19 minutes of your life that you'll NEVER get back! It's not worth it I PROMISE YOU! And of fucking course Elle saved Space Beth because she's perfect and amazing! FUCKING MARY SUE! Ugh...whatever at least there's...4 MORE EPISODES LEFT GOD FUCKING DAMMIT!

What Andrea said left him having tears down his face. This beach realized what he did and probably hating himself for it right now, but now he knows what he did, because he understood what she was saying. He knows that it sucks, having to change, and now he realizes that he was changing Paisley.

Honestly, Olly going up onto the stage and seemingly canceling Paisley's performance because she didn't want to, was really big of him if you think about it. He built all that, with the slightly forced help of Paisley. He was accepted into society, and he was about to let everyone down, everyone in Heartlake, just for the sake of making it up to Paisley, and after he was so obsessed with the fame, I think this is really big of him.

He should definitely give a direct apology though. I'm actually writing a fic about it now. I feel like after Andera left, he properly apologized. The setting feels right and everything.

Paisley was amazing in this episode, can I just say? We all know it fr. She was a QUEEN for what she did. Especially at the ending; tbh it was a bit weird when Paisley came out to perform, but this time she did it for herself, not Olly.

In a way, as much as Olly hurt Paisley, he also helped her become who she really is. Paisley also helped Olly realize that he needs to focus on others needs too, before it got worse.

Summary: I'm really proud of Paisley and Olly at the ending, I loved this episode, it made me cry tears of pain and some of joy. It was amazing to see Andrea again, and some parts were hilarious while others were angsty. 10/10 episode, I swore Ninjago writers wrote this XD

So, it's kinda obvious that the creators felt bad that Cole hadn't gotten a love interest and decided to throw in Vania somehow idek but ANYWAYS

To put it simply, yall hate on her bc she "ruins" your headcannons??? Some of you ship Lava, or Bruise, or you hc him as aroace, but you also forget Vania is quite obviously not his love interest. Sure, most fans would think that she is, because she takes an interest in Cole, and they work together to stop Vangelis, and he hugs her in S16, and all of that, but that doesn't mean its fact.

(He literally said at the begining of motm that he "doesn't even like her like that" to Lloyd.)

I personally don't feel like Cole wouldn't want to date/be with someone right now, though I don't hc him as aroace.

I feel like Conia could've worked if they just gave them more time. I mean I think the ship is adorable, but they weren't given enough screen time together and they didn't give the two enough time to build an actual relationship.

Like Jay and Nya, for example, they had to go through ALOT just to end up together in Skybound.

I'm not saying they should've introduced Vania earlier, but I just feel like if their friendship had more effort put into it, Cole and Vania could've at least become close friends at most. If I'm being honest, if Conia was canon, I acc wouldn't mind it.

i dunno, this is probably just 'cause i'm tired so i'm in a bit of a whiny mood altogether, but tonight i feel kinda sad. also a little lonely. though nothing is wrong, tbh. i really think it's just 'cause i'm tired, & tomorrow everything will feel normal & good again. but today i've been thinking, and, you know, i just got aware again that i'm 27. which, overall, is not a bad thing of course. i guess it's just 'cause i'm a little vain & it's showing now that i'm feeling a bit weak, but i don't like aging. i mean, i would love it to wake up tomorrow & suddenly be 87, but i don't want to go through the process of aging, you know. but this is just me, i know it doesn't make sense. anyway, to get to the point, i'm 27. i'm happy with where i'm at in life, i'm happy with who i'm becoming, & i'm happy spending a lot of my time alone. but tonight, in this weird mood i'm in, i'd kinda love it if i had this special someone. you know? someone to tell me that this weird mood will be over tomorrow. someone like that, just for today. because i know that tomorrow i'll look at this post or just think of it, & immediately think to myself that this post is dumb & unnecessary, because i don't actually need someone like that. Just saw the mooovieeee!!! SO good, 8.5/10, more spoiler stuff under the cut

I'm going to need more time and another rewatch eventually to fully process what I saw lol (as others have said) but WOW, what a fun, creepy/weird/chaotic romp. Some of the really wild moments like babyjuice (WTF LOOOL) gave me What We Do in the Shadows vibes, I'm wondering if anyone was inspired by that given it's a similar gothic/horror dark comedy. Delia was SO funny, definitely my fave, and I loved the reference to Moira's crow movie (in the show Schitt's Creek, which also featured Catherine). Was it as good as the first film? Not totally, but I think I thought the same of Hocus Pocus 2 and still loved it, they're both good successors to the original imo. Also, my gosh, Lydia. I was SO frustrated with her in so many parts of the film, but at the same time, I recognize a similar frustration in myself about myself, and while I'm not as badly off as Lydia STILL is by the end of this film, it's just cool/odd how much I continue to relate to her even at a different stage in life (old mentally ill goth ladies lmao). I really hope we get a third film or maybe even a mini-series show(???wouldn't thAT be cool??) to explore her character further because I really don't feel like she had much of a full personal arc as she did a relationship one with Astrid (which is great, but when does Lydia find HERSELF?? when does she find HER happiness??? I don't feel like she really does by the end, we gotta start writing the fanfic yall).

But also, justice for: BOB (he was so cute and adorable and did not deserve what happened to him!!! I WANT HIM BACK NOW TIM) and ofc Beej because what the hell lol, the first time is understandable but after ALL he did for her and Astrid this time around I can't buhLEVE she sent his ass back to the netherworld lmao. Listen, I would have at least liked to see her defend him from Dolores and/or the Sandworm, but tbf they didn't have a lot of time to develop a rapport as I hoped they would (things that could and should be addressed in a future installment PLEASe) but that felt a LITTLE cold blooded this time whereas in the first film it's like yeah okay he had that coming ig lmao. Good news though, that inspires all kinds of fanfic ideas for me and hopefully yall too !! (tbh part of me kinda likes that it was left open ended for fan interpretation of what comes next, that's on par with the first film)

Anyway, on the whole I loved it, so hilarious and fun, and the halloween/autumn visuals were so gorgeous and perfect. Aesthetically, I really loved the scene of Astrid kissing ghost boy and floating in the warmly-lit candle room, that reminded me A LOT of Casper (1995) lol. Can't wait to watch it over and over like the first!!

I wanted to ask something about safe foods - I don't know much about my safe foods, but I used to really really like cucumber. It was my thing. But, over the years, my family essentially bullied me out of eating it (always commenting on it, making fun of it, pointing me out whenever cucumber was mentioned, etc). Now, I'm starting to get used to eating it again. I remember the happiness I used to feel from eating it.

Had a rant there, but essentially, I wanted to ask - are you aware of people stopping eating safe foods because of peer pressure? Or is this just a me thing? Thank you :)

Anyway, safe foods are really important to people like us. Some foods I just can’t eat. I hate trying new foods too. I’m always afraid I won’t like it. Safe foods are something I’ll always like to eat. (For example, those ramen microwave noodles).

I can see people trying to push others to try something new. But making fun of someone liking cucumbers? That’s just odd. Kinda mean too imo.

If cucumbers make you happy, then eat as much as you want. Just try to ignore them. It’s not like they’re the ones eating it. They should mind their business tbh.
