SherLiam fics aren't usually something I indulge in because I tend to get annoyed at how many times Sherlock gets the shovel talk in fics (which I know is somewhat canonical - for Louis at least - but that and the fact that I tend to enjoy vers/switch dynamics and there isn't much of that means I don't tend to read stuff for the ship)

- but one thing I do find hilarious about SherLiam is just how utterly besotted William usually is with Sherlock. Meanwhile Louis is two feet behind him staring at the man like he's a dirty sock. It's just so fucking funny.

i have this one headcanon where i think that whenever aiden sees like his roots showing he either dyes it back as soon as possible because he doesn’t like seeing his natural color hair because it reminds him of a time he doesn’t like, or he just leaves it until it’s noticeable enough for option 1 to happen since he probably has a procrastination problem

I like to imagine after a few years everlark get really comfortable around each other; especially because they spend so much time one on one and being hermits.

Like with their bodies/nudity in general. After Peeta gets out of the shower he just walks around for a while in no hurry to get dressed. Or when he calls Katniss to look at his artwork and she rolls out of bed, butt naked, and comes in and hangs out with him for a while, no thoughts, her head totally empty.

i love that we have the little tidbit in canon that is the “i don’t care if you see me” moment down by the water in the first arena 💀 like, this boy is not only in front of his crush but quite literally on national television. LIVE national television.

he clearly has quite a relaxed attitude towards nudity, doesn’t seem to have be embarrassed by johanna stripping off in the elevator, and so i think the only thing stopping him from lounging around in whatever state of undress would be the fear of making katniss uncomfortable - because she, on the other hand, clearly does not share his relaxed attitude!

i think that, as you said, it would take a good few years to break those boundaries down. earlier, she’s fine with it in their bedroom. but it’s only when they’re really comfortable in their relationship that she would slip down to meet him at the breakfast table, still bare from the night before and a little bashful about it too (the shutters on the window are of course firmly closed. she would die if so much as one of the geese looked at her).

i feel like i see a lot of people praising nora’s “be strong and hit stuff” moment in volume 8 and i’m like??? no!!!!! that’s not supposed to be something we’re cheering on!! she is reducing herself to having one personality trait and was left with scars b/c of it. yeah, she's badass but that wasn't the takeaway you were supposed to have from that scene?? she is so much more than someone who can "hit stuff." she was operating under the assumption that that's all she is, and that was quite literally self-destructive for her. that's the entire reason she's being set up to have an arc outside of her relationship with ren; so she can find out more about herself

There isn’t a wrong way to enjoy fandom and you can do literally whatever you want. now that is out of the way, I gotta say the way fandom treats characters with less accepted pronouns like it/its and will do advanced gymnastics to use any other pronouns makes me personally want to animorph into the joker sometimes 👍

Ok we need to take about spaceships. I love sci-fi, and I love the CONCEPT of spaceships as much as the next guy, but we need to start being creative. A spaceship can be literally ANYTHING, so why can we only imagine them as giant hunks of metal? Our present is getting in the way of our imagination!!! Like look at these ships

They’re all gorgeous right! But also they’re all different archetypes of the same model. Let’s think big!!!!

Anyways this post was an excuse to post my favorite spaceship from all time, the Black Moon Clan’s ship from the second season of Sailor Moon:

I’ve seen/read so much sci-fi, and yet not ONE of the space ships has this much creativity and uniqueness in design. And the interior too! (Ignore the crucified sailors they got better)

I’m so upset that I haven’t seen anything else play with the sci-fi genre w/ respect to spaceships as much as Sailor Moon did in 1993, which was literally 30 yrs ago 🙄

Hopefully we’ll have more open minds in the future
