Ghost Cora AU where he’s actually been following Law around ever since he died but nobody has been able to see him, so all he’s able to do is watch Law get hurt and suffer in silence. UNTIL, miraculously, the battle of Dressrosa ends, and for some strange reason—through some supernatural bullshit or maybe just fate—one person is finally able to see him.

Law is sitting on the deck of the Yonta Maria watching everyone party when Luffy comes trotting over to him. And Luffy plops down beside him and says, “I’ve been meaning to ask, Torao, but who’s that really tall blonde guy with the funny makeup that’s been following you around?”

Loki fixes his jacket, Mobius doesn't look, and I fall apart

I was in the midst of making a thirst edit for loki, I was just admiring loki being unfairly attractive when I ended with anything but a thirst edit and got emotionally devastated instead.

I refer to that little moment of Loki straightening himself out. First, when he's trying to find his footing at the TVA. When he first puts on his jacket, its this smooth, practiced motion, he sweeps that hair back, adjusts his lapels, chin up, like he's slipping into a role, trying to play along, trying to present himself as someone in control even though he is anything but.

And mobius, watching him, already amused, interested.. and Loki sees that, clocks it, gives that tiny little 'oh you like this?' smile.

Then cut to Dons timeline and tell me why Loki does the exact same motion, only this time, its hesitant. In the TVA it was almost performative, like he was trying to present himself well.

But Dons timeline? its more tentative, like he's nervous, like he wants to get it right.. Because now it isn't just some TVA game. This is Mobius, living a quiet human life that Loki isn't apart of. Its almost like Loki's bracing himself before stepping back into something he knows he can't stay in.

And Mobius-Don- god. Mobius doesn't clock it this time. Because this isn't that kind of story anymore. Theres no knowing little smirk, no teasing remark- just Don, squinting at Loki like a stranger.

Its the tragedy of the saddest little muscle memory. The way Loki's hands move before he could ever even realise why. Because once upon a time, in a place that doesn't exist anymore, he did this exact thing. He straightened his jacket, swept his hair back and looked up- and Mobius was there.

Watching him. noticing him. Seeing him.

Mobius doesn't see him this time. Not in the way he used to. And yet, Loki straightens his jacket. Because some part of Loki remembers what it was like to be looked at by him.

soap pining over medic reader

idk if it’s a trope but i will call it one.

i love the “trope” where a fighter of sorts falls in love with a nurse or medic. makes me so giddy each time.

thinking of soap falling for the pretty new medic/nurse.

he used to hate going to the medical wing. those old nurses were always scolding him for how often he was getting hurt. he started refusing to visit the medical wing. he ignored the whispers that there was a new nurse. it’s only when he gets hurt during training, limping around base like a sad old man with a dislocated hip.

he’s practically begged to go visit the nurses, begrudgingly holding onto the wall along the way so that he doesn’t collapse. it’s not until he sees the pretty new nurse stressing over little old him that he realises what he was missing out on. he’s instantly head over heels, swooned as you look at him with such concern and care in your eyes.

he was doomed from the start. who couldn’t fall for someone like you? he starts visiting you over every small injury, throwing a fit if the pretty little nurse isn’t the one caring for him. he feels guilty, sometimes. no matter how many times he reassures you that he’ll be okay, you still have that constant furrow of concern in your brow. he wishes he could just kiss away each of your worries.

he can’t help but feel a bit jealous whenever he sees you care for someone else. you’re supposed to be his nurse. it takes him a while to admit to himself that it’s jealousy.

one night, long after hours, he goes to visit you. such had become a habit. he can’t stand when he can’t see you on certain days. when he finds you crying, he’s instantly thought that he’d done something, or that he’d have to break someone’s bones. instead, you were crying over some random soldier who was k.i.a. you weren’t even close to the guy, it just broke your heart.

he swore to you then and there that he wouldn’t turn up like that. he swore to himself that he’d be more careful. the idea that you might cry over him like that was one he couldn’t stomach. he had to, at the very least, go on a date with you before fate took him.

imagine one day you’re on your third flight of the day doing your silly little flight attendant job and you’re exhausted, and ready to be home, and you’re smiling and dissociating as your greet passengers as they come on board and suddenly in walks jensen ackles, dean winchester himself, and he smiles and says “thanks” as you hand him a silly little disinfectant wipe. You proceed to hand the basket of wipes to your coworker as you rush to the bathroom to have a full blown panic attack because DEAN FUCKING WINCHESTER is on your flight and you are going to have to talk to him and interact with him and be professional and pretend you aren’t having a meltdown cause you would know those eye crinkles ANYWHERE. Imagine you’re taking dinner orders and you’re repeating to yourself in your head “be profesional, smile and ask for his order, just breathe” and he proceeds to order the cheeseburger and a whiskey neat and your brain short circuits and in your most sarcastic tone out of your mouth comes “yeah sure thing dean” AND THEN YOUR BRAIN EXPLODES CAUSE YOU JUST SAID THAT OUT LOUD TO JENSEN FUCKING ACKLES!!!!! Anyways he laughs and says “my wife says that all the time” then you proceed to die and blackout and work the rest of the flight on autopilot yeah imagine if that happened 😅
