Jonelias Week Day 1 (Which is definitely today I swear), for the prompt "No Powers AU"

This one... maybe got away from me. This is actually only the first half of what I've written so far, and probably the first third overall! I do plan to post this to Ao3 at some point (although I suspect I'll need to do a lengthy round of editing first lmao). It's some very self-indulgent nonsense, which is a lot of what I write, but now it's getting put in the main tags of a ship during said ship's event week. So. It may also be a little bit "aromantic dude tries to figure out what having a crush is supposed to be like." Also a lot of "dude who took Principals of Accounting once pretending it knows what office work is like." Anyway, quick warning before we begin, and the rest will be under the read-more:

Stalking (played for laughs) for most of the fic.

Just. A weird amount of obsession.

Jon's new boss was, quite possibly, the most boring man in the world. He wore the same outfit every day (pale dress shirt with dark unpatterned tie and gray slacks and matching suit jacket). The only personal effect in his entire office was a potted plant on the windowsill (some sort of succulent, and definitely fake). He always arrived to work exactly half an hour early and left exactly half an hour late. The only hobby he appeared to show any interest in was scheduling, which he seemed to find both deeply engaging and remarkably irritating. In fact, he was apparently so opposed to the idea of mixing his work with his personal life that he might as well not have existed beyond the walls of their office. Jon had never been more fascinated by anyone else in his entire life.

It stared with the transfer to the accounting department. Elias had met with him personally to get him acclimated to his new role. He had been blandly polite, and blandly handsome, and Jon had stopped listening to him about five minutes into their conversation. It was probably bad form, really. The software Elias was droning on and on about sounded like it was about to become a central feature of his days. He really should've been paying attention to it. Instead, he pretended to make eye contact while zeroing in on the top of Bouchard's forehead (a very useful trick, really) and became inordinately focused on the small lock of hair that had fallen across it. It was terribly distracting, and Jon had wondered how he hadn't noticed it. And then he wondered how it had come to be there. And then he had built up an entire story involving a murder, an illicit affair with the assistant director of marketing, and the potted succulent. And then he had noticed Bouchard eying him with what could've been suspicion or amusement or irritation or nothing whatsoever, and had been forced to rapidly pretend to care about their company's bad debt expense policy. Bouchard had indulged him, and had spoken with the calm authority of someone who knew what they were talking about, and had even managed to avoid being overtly condescending (a feat forever out of Jon's reach). At the end he had shaken Jon's hand (with a nice, firm grip), and had told him "I'm looking forward to working with you, I'm sure you'll make a wonderful member of our team." Jon had left that meeting with a mind shrouded in a fog of boredom and a faint sensation of warmth which he decided was best attributed to curiosity and left otherwise unexamined. Over the next few weeks, Jon had tried to subtly inquire into Bouchard's life. At the time, he had been naively under the impression that surely he must have let slip something about his life; some odd quirk or funny story or harmless bit of information which could justify Jon's blooming curiosity. Unfortunately; "He lives in Chelsea, I'm pretty sure?" (Sasha) "He's currently in a meeting. Honestly Jon, you'll be better off just sending an email. Now can I please get back to work?" (Rosie, probably lying about the meeting) "He actually lives here in the office. Set up a cozy little home away from home in one of the storage closets and sneaks out at night to raid the canteen. And he's having an affair with the assistant director of marketing." (Tim, definitely lying (but maybe a mind reader? Also, full of brilliant ideas for places Jon could maybe set up a cot whenever he needs to stay overnight)) Clearly, Jon would have to take matters into his own hands if he wanted answers. That was fine. It could be his own private little research project.

Jon liked to think that the entire thing had actually been quite reasonable, and that he had acted within the bounds of their pre-established relationship as employee and supervisor. Surely any rational person had to realize that nobody could possibly be that uninteresting. Anyone would be curious as to what dark secrets Bouchard his behind his well-tailored suits and polite, professional demeanor. … perhaps most rational persons would not meticulously record the movements, behavior, and daily appearance of their colleague in a discreet notebook (with annotations, color-coding, and graphs where appropriate), but Jon had always prided himself on his dedication to research and understanding. So far Jon had collected frustratingly little data. If Bouchard was hiding anything, it wasn't apparent from his schedule (see pages 8-13, figure 2.b), his eating habits (see page 22), or his lone plant (see page five, figure 1.c). His breaks did seem specially timed to avoid other people (and he appeared not to engage in many social behaviors generally), but he never acted irritated or otherwise unhappy to encounter one of his subordinates, so Jon wasn't entirely sure if it was deliberate avoidance or simple coincidence. Really, the only truly odd thing about him was his inexplicable interest in Jon. That very morning, for example, Bouchard had stopped by his cubicle for a fifteen minute discussion on the upcoming Annual Team Luncheon, an event Jon had never attended before (due to an annual migraine which coincidentally always happened to occur on the exact date of the luncheon), which Jon did not plan to attend, and which honestly sounded like some sort of violation of the Geneva Convention. The topic itself was not especially odd (small talk was an archaic tradition which had stubbornly clung on in every workplace Jon had ever set foot in), but Bouchard's low propensity for inter-office socialization combined with the fact that he had both chosen Jon specifically as his conversational partner was… highly suspicious. Most people who encountered Jon inevitably concluded that he was more effort than he was worth (an attitude Jon mostly appreciated).

And of course, there had also been their interaction two days ago, when Elias had paused briefly to inquire as to whether Jon would be staying late, and what he was working on, and if he might perhaps consider heading home soon because there was only so much overtime they could pay him. Or on Friday, when he had managed to hold two separate conversations with Jon where very little was said. Honestly, Jon somewhat suspected that Elias had spoken to him more in the past few weeks than he had spoken to any of their colleagues for the entire time Jon had been there to observe him. Most of Jon's notes were now dedicated to their interactions. From his cot in the unused storage room (which was indeed a good place to stay overnight, thank you Tim), he could jot down everything he recalled about their interaction; it had begun at 8:32 and had concluded at 8:47; the weather was warm and slightly humid, although the office interior remained at a comfortable 21 °C. Bouchard's shirt had been a nice, cool gray, which complemented the silver of his eyes. Jon (who had been busy digging for his favorite pen (the ink was a lovely deep green color, and it was usually kept on the left side of the top desk drawer, and Jon had no idea where else it could have possibly gone)) had settled on "irritation" as his tone, which Bouchard either had not noticed or had not cared enough to acknowledge. He had easily dominated the conversation, and Jon could admit in the sanctity of his research journal that his voice had been soothing enough to cool away some of Jon's annoyance. He wrote his conclusion: Subject behaved near-identically in tone, posture, body language, and apparent mood as he has in all previous communications. Subject displayed no strong thoughts or opinions on subject of discussion nor conversational partner. Interaction was pleasant but slightly dull, no new information discovered. It was almost exactly the same as every previous conclusion. Jon had to admit, so many months with so little progress was… discouraging. He shifted on the narrow mattress and winced when his movements aggravated his backache (which was surely unrelated to his frequent occupancy of the cot). It was becoming more and more apparent that the only possible solution was to do some actual, direct investigation. His first idea (break into Bouchard's office) seemed a tad far (also, he didn't know how to pick locks). His second idea (follow him home) seemed a stretch further than the previous one, and was perhaps best saved as a last resort. His third idea (something something computers? (perhaps "idea" was a bit generous)) would almost certainly require Sasha, who would have questions Jon couldn't answer. He flipped idly through his notes, half-skimming, half-thinking. It was only when his gaze landed on figure 2.b, Weekly Schedule of E. Bouchard, that he actually came up with something reasonable. Something actionable.

year in review | 2023

since I posted my favorite pictures last year and I wanted to do it this year too...

Well, this year is almost over and unfortunately things didn't go as planned. There have been a lot of distractions this year and I haven't really felt motivated to spend much time with The Sims4, despite the 3 expansion packs and many good sets that have come out for Sims4 this year. I'll be honest, the expansion packs aren't bad, but they could have done more with them, the EPs are coming out with less and less content that really enriches the game and that's really very disappointing. Nevertheless, I don't want to miss the new packs or the sets in the game, they still improve my game and I definitely intend to get more involved with them again. So my intention for next year is definitely to invest more time in Sims4 again, even though I can already say quite clearly that some things will change probably.

It's really hard for me to focus on my stories when I start posting again to keep at it. I always lose interest too quickly and the stories get put on hold indefinitely, it's just as bad with the gameplay and legacy posts. I'm thinking about what to do with the blog going forward, and it's likely that I'll be posting more pictures rather than stories in the future. Personally, I just don't enjoy working on story posts anymore and I'll will probably reduce that even more...

But nothing is ever for sure, so things can change again, ofc :x

Anyway, I'd also like to thank everyone who continues to be here and check out my posts from time to time. I really appreciate that there are still people who are interested, which is becoming less and less over the years. Some have also retired from the Sims Community for different reasons, so I appreciate everyone who is still here.

Well, this is a bit long but we couldn't let Brindleton destroying Sulani. Have you seen how gorgeous it is ?! Thanks to the help of the sulanians and all the people around Sims Nation, Brindleton realized that he was completly wrong and decided to leave* ... (*He actually died trying to stole the Heart of Sulani. He fell into Sulani's volcano, oupsi ...)

Okay ... Well, that seems a bit vague but anyway ... We heard that you're actually studying fashion and cinema at Britechester right ?

Yes totally ! September will be the beginning of my last year there actually. As you can see I'm a woman with multiple talents ! Britechester has an awesome educational team and we have a lot of ressources to help us there so I look forward to complete this program and leave this place once and for all

Are you going to be a trouble there ? I mean, this is actually the Ivy league we're talking about ...

I know. But the Ivy league also needs to realize that they really protect horrible values and people soetimes ... The world will know it one day. That's all I can tell ...

As this is our summer edition, what are your plans for this summer ?

This year is going to be a summer full of work ! I've been contacted for 2 new contracts for a perfume and a new fashion designer I'd like to promote. I'm also featuring on a local DJ song and going to be an extra on The Urbz show !

I don't feel like it but I like being buzy. Also, people have been very friendly lately and I've met a lot of awesome new souls !

Another subject, you told me you created your own clothes. What does this mean to you ?

I think it gives me some kind of total freedom on my style. As you can notice, I love pink but there's not a lot of clothes that fit my body well. I created some stuff lately and I'm really considering creating my own brand soon. I want a fully inclusive brand, designed for people like me ... Unique !

Do you think your fans would follow you into this new trend ?

I don't want anyone to feel obligated to do so but I know that there's some of them who have been asking me to do more. I just want to grow with them, like together. I still can't believe some people are finding me inspiring to be honest

Last question, what about your relationship ? Are you single ?

Let's say that my heart is taken by a vampire slayer ...

Just a small update about me being on CurseForge since today. I've only uploaded one project, but many more will follow the upcoming time (Think months, not hours).

Grassland Summer - Combine Set - Wallpaper I was finally able to fix all buggy things about this wallpaper I made for the first time in 2014! Back then TheSims4Studio didn't even excisted yet and the only objects that could be made were wallpapers and floors with a program called WallEz. Now I think about it, I'm already modding for almost 10 years now, that's crazy..but anyway...

This wallpaper is called a 'Combine Set' as you can mix and match 8 different wallpapers to create unique looking walls for every room you use them for. This wallpaper looks especially good in Baby and/or Kids rooms, so will also be perfect for the upcoming Infant update.

From August 2020, after Nifty Knitting came out. Basically, it's an idealized self sim and my coworkers in our dream office. It was a lot of fun! I hadn't really taken screenshots before then, and didn't start posting to tumblr until May2021 - even those were just selfies by my Sims for awhile.

Legacy of the Girls - Part 7

When the girls got home from the Festival of Snow it was snowing! How fitting. Winter is officially here in willow Creek and the neighbourhood looks amazing.

Winter's off to work at the hospital as usual.

And Solar's back to grading papers. She does this on her own, by the way. I don't ask her to do it. She must like her job.

Loren and Radley can't seem to get along. So I'm trying to get them to mend their differences. Radley: I dunno Loren, maybe if you eat more veggies your body wouldn't be the hot mess that it is. That's just my advice, take it or leave it.

Loren: ... Girl, I came over here to talk about rainbows. Radley: Take it or leave it!

Radley: Hey Solar, did you know that coral bleaching is happening in the Great Barrier Reef because you use too much electricity? Solar: I thought that was because of climate change? Radley: Electricity is a contributing factor!

Radley: The earth is getting warmer and it's messing up all our ocean ecosystems. You're a child of the ocean, this applies to you too. Solar: Can I please get back to fixing the coffee machine now? I need coffee...

So I thought it was high time I put some work into Loren's aspirations as well. She's a serial romantic so it's important she gets out there and meets a lot of people. Today I've taken her to the gym - just to see if she clicks with anyone. This is how people meet these days - or maybe it's just me who constantly gets harassed at gyms?

Oh great, the local werewolf pack is here too. Charming.

Wolf Teen: Girl, you are fire! Hot damn!

Loren: Oh right, I know what you are. So you're like some kind of alien, right? Wolf Teen: What? No... I'm a werewolf... look at me... Loren: Right...

She could not be wearing a more inappropriate outfit for working out. That's on me. But damn she look cute!

There was a lot happening at the gym. A lot of people checking each other out. Loren wasn't really biting for any of them though. And that's okay! I thought the guy with the glasses was cute, but I try to make sure my Sims actually like the people they fall for.

And then she saw this piece of work with the ugly mohawk and she liked him. Well, if that's what your cup of tea looks like Loren - then sure!

Loren: Ugh, nobody cares. Go howl somewhere else.

So the next day Loren asked this guy she liked from the gym out on a date. I can't remember what his name is - it's really long and complicated to say. Anyway, we've gone to Club Calico for the evening.

Once again, this place is really pretty. Well done Sims4 developers. well done.

The date was going really well.

Until they ran off somewhere and I realized wicked whims had taken control of our lives again.

In public this time! Classy. That poor old lady did not come to the country club to see that. The women at bridge will be hearing about this.

Anyway, while they were busy I found some pigeons while I was exploring! Pigeons! <3

Oh look, they've changed spots! I guess they wanted to do it where there was a nicer view. Ya know? Gotta make sure you've got something to look at while your hands are busy I guess.

Back at the lot, I got Molly a guitar. It's hers. I put it in her room specifically for her. She sucks. She sucks so bad! But once she gets better I'm sure she'll be amazing.

This is because she's a music lover and she wanted an instrument.

That's Don Lothario in the hat there. He's actually a really good family friend of like everyone in the household. He's never tried anything with any of the girls and comes over all the time.

Honestly, I haven't checked what his orientation is yet but at this point I don't think I need to.

Oh, he just walked away from her in the middle of a conversation. Awe, sorry Molly. I guess all that computer talk was boring him?

Is she? Is she about to snap?

This other guy with the mohawk playing chess with Loren is called Makoa - he's also another really good friend of the family. I think he might even be Loren's best friend? They hang out a lot. Super platonic. I think he's married actually. Once again, he's never hit on any of the girls.

I love that they can have relationships like that too :3

playing stardew valley and animal crossing with kazuha is my life goal that will never be fulfilled please cry with me. anyway, just imagine cuddling on the sofa under a thick blanket on a cold rainy day with cups of hot chocolate or tea whilst playing stardew valley. the both of you work through the first year slowly as little farmers doing cute little farm things. also if you ever chose to get into a relationship with any of the npcs in the game kazuha will not be happy, he’d definitely not talk to that particular npc because he is now kazuha’s “sworn enemy”. he will also be a pouty baby, so please apologise and give him kisses. and if you REALLY want to make it up to him, ask him to marry you in animal crossing and this man will be on his knees in a split second. he’d prepare EVERYTHING, from the venue, the guests, he’d even attempt to design his own tux for his little character to wear. and you guys would have such an adorable animal crossing wedding. also because kissing in game is not enough, he’d probably kiss you irl when the wedding officiant says you may now kiss the xx. honestly i see kazuha even going out spontaneously to buy you a promise ring with a little maple leaf engraved in it for you. yes it was an animal crossing wedding, but it was a wedding non the less. playing minecraft with kazuha please, its so fucking wholesome- he’s so good at the game and he doesn’t even try. he knows all the tricks and he’s so sexy with redstone you cant convince me otherwise. he’s also an amazing builder pls wtf. AND OH MY GOD, imagine playing the sims4 with kazuha, he’d literally cry inside. you both would sit next to each other in front of the computer screen for hours just designing your characters. and you would have a little cat too. everytime kazuha’s character flirted with yours, he will definitely shoot you one of his romantic haikus. also the first time your characters woohoo’ed, he most likely would have teased you and said “its unfair that only they get to woohoo you know.” anyway i think playing wholesome games with kazuha is 10 bells out of 10 bells.

now this one is kinda scary. i think its pretty obvious that xiao plays shooter games honestly. or anything that has to do with fighting. it wasn’t unusual to hear him literally SCREAM randomly throughout the day because of a game. if you ever play shooter games with this aggressive boy, please proceed with caution. i honestly feel like he would be so caught up in the heat of the moment he’d actually forget he was playing with you. so if he ends up getting angry, please bare with him- he honestly doesn’t mean to call you bad, or useless, or trash… I SWEAR. xiao will immediately regret his words and he’d feel so bad. especially after he notices how your mood just instantly dies. he’d feel so bad, even after he apologised and you forgave him, he can’t accept the fact that he just called you- the love of his life something so vulgar. and since he’s so awkward and bad with people he’d literally feel like crying on the spot. he wouldn’t know what to do to make it up to you. the next few days, xiao was so cautious around you- even if you didn’t think much about the incident anymore. in the end even xiao was unable to stay away from you for too long, and he’d ask you to watch him play games instead- which you happily agreed to. he loves it when you straddle him while he sits in his chair while gaming though he’d never admit it. but whenever you felt him get tense, all you had to do was give him a kiss and you just knew he’d calm down. you literally work magic on him. also occasionally you’d hear some idiots in his party talking shit about him, you wouldn’t think twice before speaking into the microphone and start standing up for him, and your grip around his waist would definitely tighten a lot more. “if i ever hear you talking shit about MY boyfriend one more time, i will literally come in game and beat the absolute fuck out of you.” yassss girlboss! xiao’s heart would explode and his face would be beat red, he thinks he doesn’t deserve you. also he thinks your so sexy standing up for him like that, please don’t tease him about it. i rate him a “please dont scold me im trying my best” out of “FUCK YOU SUCKKKKKK”

oh my god, horror games. he hates them but he can’t stop. playing phasmophobia with him would be incredibly fun, but he would make you do all the work literally. he’d be too scared to do anything- and if you ever got caught with the ghost you’d be stupid to think he’d try to save you. he would be the first one out the door and running away. he’s also so loud, your honestly more likely to get jump scared by his screaming than the actual game. other than that i think venti likes to play the sims4 too, except he’s so chaotic about it. he wants to do challenges and he also wants to make like 10 babies with you even if your sims can’t afford them- cries when they are taken away. has all the packs and just enjoys fucking around with everything- also makes bets with you, like whether your baby is going to be a boy or girl, and if you lose you owe him a kiss or he asks you to do something for him. when he plays with you, he needs to be touching your body at all times. he says it makes him feel safe, and warm. so you just let him. venti also wants to play karaoke games with you, he loves your voice so much- whether you can sing or not he loves it. but he will tease you if you cant. he loves duetting with you, to him it’s something very intimate and close to home. he wants to hold your hand and give them a squeeze as an encouragement when you sing with him. and yes you guys probably have played just dance a few times, but venti gets incredibly tired after one round- so please bare with his annoying ass. i think venti is a solid 8 red bulls out of “ive already drank 15”

One day, someone realized they were tired of putting things in hard, impractical, wooden crates.

And voila, the cardboard box was invented.

Or something like that.

These have become a big part of our lives, for many occasions. There’s nothing easier than just throwing some stuff in a box, right?

Your Sims are deserving of the same luxury. And thankfully, our beloved custom content creators have come up with several ways to incorporate boxes into your Sim’s lives, both functionally and decoratively.

Anyone who has ever had to move or store something long term will recognize this sight.

Cardboard boxes with writing indicating what’s inside are as old as, well… cardboard boxes themselves, I would guess!

The writing on these is a lot neater than you normally see, though.

It implies these Sims took the time to neatly write out the category, rather than hurriedly scribbling it on there with a Sharpie so no one can even tell what it says later.

There are two different sizes here: one large with the flaps pushed in, and one small that’s already taped up.

There are few things in this world that universally spark joy.

But getting a package in the mail is definitely one of them.

Everyone loves to check their porch or mailbox and find a lovely cardboard bundle of joy. Maybe it’s something you have wanted for a long time, or even a gift from someone else.

I bet when you clicked on this article, you never expected to be presented with a coffin storage box.

Sims don’t get to actually order things.

They can buy something off their phone and it’ll automatically appear in their inventory. That arguably takes away most of the fun of online shopping, which is rooted in the anticipation.

And these packages may not fix that. But they will at least add a nice touch of realism to your game.

The designs feature companies you already know and love, like Amazon, as well as just general post office-type boxes.

Moving is always a pretty big deal.

And real life is not as simple as The Sims – it seldom is.

You don’t just get to toss everything in the ambiguous ‘family inventory’, pick a new house and wait.

We all know the actual process is much more complicated and involves a lot of boxes.

This CC set will portray that very well, if you want your Sim’s moving process to be more than a loading screen.

There are a good variety of boxes available here, in three different sizes and with both open and closed options.

A shoe box usually indicates you got a cool new pair of kicks.

Maybe it was recently, or maybe it was years ago and you just like to keep them.

They do make for good little storage containers too. A cheap and semi-safe way to store papers, small collections, and of course shoes.

We all know if Sims love anything, it’s collecting.

Now you can depict that hoarding spirit all through your Sim’s house now. There are twelve swatches here, with famous brands like Nike and Louis Vuitton, as well as some less specific boxes.

I think there’s only one thing that tops a package in the mail.

And that’s the box containing your new game system.

There are millions and millions of people who would love to see one of these in their home – assuming the console is actually in it, of course.

In this CC, it isn’t here.

These are strictly decorative, since our Sims have been deprived of the console gaming experience in this iteration.

But they do look pretty cool.

Either one of these (or heck, even both) will look great sitting around the holiday tree during your next Winterfest.

The trusty old file box will always be there for you.

Whether it’s important papers you need to store or just some crap you found while cleaning your room, a sturdy box with a lid will get the job done.

I actually prefer these to the ‘regular’ cardboard boxes.

Despite the name here, the top is more secure, and you can store more things on it.

The best part is, this one is actually functional!

You can toss whatever you want in here.

This is a great alternative to the family or personal inventory if you don’t like your Sims holding tons of random stuff at any given time.

This is a much more dignified way to label boxes than marker scrawls, I must admit.

There are 30 ways to do so here, with big and bright decals.

They can be strictly decorative if you want them to, but they can also serve as functional items as well.

Use the one with the Christmas tree on it for holiday decorations, the one with the pets sticker for pet stuff… you get the idea.

Eren:

•If you both sleep in different rooms/houses, he makes sure to either call or FaceTime you every night before bed

•He always thinks something bad might happen in your sleep, so like if you get kidnapped or pass away, he wants to at least give you his last good nights

•He counts your knuckles with his thumb when you’re holding hands. It can be anytime you’re holding hands so just hide them knuckles

•Speaking of hands, he subconsciously bends your fingers for no reason. Like— you’d be sleeping or something and he’d grab your hand and mess around with your fingers

•Despite what others say, I think Eren is a good cook! He takes lessons from his mother, so when he’s able to cook for you two it doesn’t turn out bad

•However, baking isn’t his greatest quality. He isn’t the worst at baking— his treats are still edible, but they just either taste bland or hard

•When baking he likes to taste the batter. Even though you tell him he could get sick, he does it anyways

•He doesn’t like going out that much because he’s just chill. He’d rather spend time at home— if you don’t live together then he just calls you and ends up talking to you for about 2-3 hours

•His favorite game is the Sims4. Now I’ve played almost every Sims game and I have almost every expansion pack, and lemme tell you. He would love the SHIT out of the Sims4— from making a family between you two and just destroying the world around him. He probably has a mod that allows him to kill people idk

•He uses wired headphones to share them with you because he thinks it’s cuter that way

•He once tried to learn an instrument for you but we don’t talk about it

Armin:

•Like Eren, he calls and facetimes you before bed. Not because he’s worried, but because he just likes to see you and hear your voice before bed

•When holding your hand, he squeezes it twice because it means I love you

•He doesn’t really know how to properly wash laundry and accidentally put bleach in instead of detergent

•Both of your clothes were ruined and you scolded him for days afterwards

•He also likes to play the Sims4 but dude. You know that cute dinosaur game on TikTok? Like a Dino? Yeah. I don’t have to say anymore.

•To be honest, he’d only go out if you both were going out on dates. Wanna go to the store to him? Call it a date and he will. It’s not because he doesn’t like going outside, it’s just because he wants it to sound romantic

•If you tell him he reminds you of Shalnark from HxH he will get upset?? Because Shalnark sounds feminine so he would think he sounds like a girl

•He won’t watch the Yorknew arc afterwards

•He’s pretty good at baking tbh, one of the jobs on his list was a baker

•He doesn’t look like it, but Armin doesn’t really want a family. He likes kids but they pull at his hair :( again, it makes him think he has long hair and then he thinks he looks feminine

•Even though you tell him there’s nothing wrong with it, he will get kinda mad because he doesn’t want to look like a woman

•He draws little sick figures of you and him holding hands near the ocean and gives it to you!! Such a cutie

This is the fan-created personal home of Arthur Kirkland I made, realistically, like anywhere between a year to two years ago. This is well before the Cottage pack that just recently came out (And I am upset because that could’ve added so much more but I can’t be bothered to alter it now after all this time). Remember: This is fan/headcanon created. I build for fun and am not a professional. I do not build with the intention of having it livable/non-clashing. If something clashes it will be up to you to fix it because I build for the pure aesthetic and not functionality. I own a lot of packs so if you don’t own all the ones used in this there might be issues. After the cut here I will provide a visual walk-through via screen captures. You’re more than welcome to download it and look at it for yourself. My username on Sims4 is Shinoshallbugyou.

First up, the outside overview. Keep in mind that Sims 4 limits the lot to a harsh degree. I actually really miss Sims 3 in how you could alter and change the environment otherwise I’d have Arthur’s home buried in a garden/trees. I have placed his home in the University area because it felt the best suited. There wasn’t any particular designs I was going for... I just kind of made it and went with it. His home, unlike Spain’s that I am working on, is much smaller in comparison. I particularly wanted to bury this home in foliage and green with ivy climbing up the wall and etc. Something to where you could have enchanted little areas to sit in, fairies, and etc. Something to where he can be more introverted and away from others.

3rd Floor- Attic/storage.

2nd Floor - Full bath, office, and his bedroom.

1st Floor - Entry room, 1/2 Bathroom, Living room, dining room, kitchen. Outside there is a small backyard area as well as a greenhouse.

I specifically always want to try to do a ‘triangle’ entry or a sloped half triangle entry. It ALWAYS clashes and hates being put in there but the aesthetic of it appeals to me and I’m always trying things even if they’re difficult. I know some of these objects may seem more German than British but... I don’t care lmao. I don’t do this to do a 100% British Speedrun. Just fun.

The greenhouse in particular was something I wanted and is difficult to implement. Those are not full walls and as such do not drop down like normal walls for those of you who download this. Also, previously, I had custom content on the windows and doors of this greenhouse that were removed with several updates and I can’t be bothered to re-download it so I chose something from a pack. That would do. I love the idea of a greenhouse and wanted to try it and I particularly liked making this house in specific ‘cramped’.

I really liked adding this ‘side door’ that goes into the living room with its little step-up.

I really tried, to the edge of it, building the lush garden and foliage covers.

A small, quiet area for tea and fairies. There are lots of gnomes and stuff hidden throughout this house! Just a fun little surprise. My fiancee tried to play this build of mine and since I have seasons fall is triggered but it just adds to the look, in my opinion.

The backdoor into the kitchen with another cute step-down.

My hands were killing me by the end after adding all this foliage but it’s worth it. We also joked in a larp once that when America visited he accidentally broke a gnome and hid it in the bushes. Arthur immediately noticed that Reginald was missing. Where did Reginald go? Reginald???

The front entry room or, I suppose, a ‘mud’ room. I never do these and I really liked it.

A lot of Arthur’s house will be cluttered and lived-in. I love those looks. Also, my apologies in advance, I didn’t realize there would be an outline where my mouse was hovering. I’m a builder, not a photographer.

I wanted a nook of a kitchen. The walls aren’t even that high but the Sims 4 is great about making things ridiculously tall. I think I joked about putting a step-stool in there for him lmao. The door leads down below into a 1/2 bathroom. I also in particular liked that oven because it was a ‘London’ oven.

Greys and browns were something I thought that Arthur would like. More Earthy tones. I wanted a ‘round table’ for obvious purposes. I had a custom content here too and had to improvise when they removed it. I like to think that Arthur also collects those cute dishes that some people do.

The living room as well as stairs going up. I wanted it old-fashioned a bit with an old record player and the TV isn’t the main focus but is there because he has reluctantly upgraded over the years. And while you can’t see it... I miss in Sims 2&3 I believe it was that they would put on ‘chimneys’ for the fireplaces. I love how realistic that is rather than it just... Being in the wall???? So I make 1x2 spaces behind the fireplaces by default now that they’re missing from the game. I miss those. The clipping from the half triangle roof is here along with foliage. Usually my brain just blocks out that stuff or I try to hide it. In this case... I blocked it out and ignored it.

Going upstairs, peering down into the living room.

I really, REALLY wanted this weird bay-window with a ledge here. A lot of stuff I want is a pain to do but I always want to. I temporarily removed a clipping roof object here (It is the ‘rounded roof’ here). I enjoy how it looks outside but not inside. For the pictures sake, I removed it. The window doesn’t allow it to disappear and for some reason it clips into the bathroom as well even though that makes no sense. Roofing is one of the hardest aspects in this game.

The full bathroom first. The top view gives the most details as to how it looks. Since it isn’t big I have to remove the walls to see further into it.

Arthur’s personal office. I wanted to involve a bit more of the spiritual or supernatural things he’s into since I wasn’t interested in making a basement for this project.

Arthur’s bedroom. I really enjoyed this one because of the quilted bed and things like that. I added the rocking chair and knitting sidekick there as an afterthought while looking at this room since, at the time, the knitting pack hadn’t come out when I made this. I thought the contrasting red and green would actually look good and not just Christmas-y. He has his own little walk-on balcony.

Here is the half triangle structure I was talking about as well as the circular roof down below. Roofing is incredibly difficult and I’m OCD and want it to look a particular way. I about had a fit on Spain’s home recently in regards to roofing.

The 3rd floor... The attic that has been transformed into a storage area. I actually really enjoy making storage areas in particular that help reveal some aspects about these characters I create for. In England’s case I like to imagine that America used to live up in here with him and he’s converted it from Alfred’s bedroom into storage. The babyshoes are supposed to be Alfred’s that he still keeps around. Just little bits and pieces over the years that he’s tossed in here and yet it’s still not really that chaotic... All things considered.

Anyways... That’s it! I hope you all like it! I’ve been working on Spain’s and, unlike England, I like to picture him having a HUGE home. Because of how big it is... It has taken much longer. I have the majority of it done though and am mostly left with his 2nd floor and outside foliage to complete before it’s done! I’ll probably upload the ship and island I’ve made for them on the next post.

Clark cooked up some breakfast scramble for his guests. Fresh eggs Lois just collected from the chicken coop. He and Kara are busy talking about some big event with Bruce there.

Also Natasha Romanoff-Rogers came by. She and Lois are pretty chummy by now. And the way she looks at Bruce Wayne. Hah… If Nat isn’t happily married to Steve Rogers, let’s just say she’d jump him.

And Diana is pregnant! Congratsz to Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor. I hope its a girl.

Lois looks pretty happy being the Farmer’s wife. Girlfriend is up early feeding the chickens and collecting eggs, cleaning and milking the cow. She named her Lucy after her sister. Hahahahaha. Because we all know Smallville’s Lucy Lane caused Lois a hell lot of problems.

Kailani Costa: Wow, this is it. Today is my wedding day. I can’t believe I’m marrying Morgan Queen today… the time has flown by. I’m so excited for him to be my husband… I chose a dress that’s traditional of Windenburg, so I hope Morgan will like it. It’s very different to what I usually wear, but I think it’s pretty.
