I think at least lmao.

Anyway! Jason starts making videos on YouTube for one reason or another (is really stressed, no one listens to his rants Abt books who cares). His content is mostly bad books he read or really really really long rants Abt pride and prejudice. Like 3 hours on one tiny detail he noticed on his 214th read through.

He's kinda popular, mostly bc his terrible books videos. He talks Abt the ones that made him the most mad, which coincidentally are mostly romance and supernatural. Like he's one of the well known figures in the supernatural romance critique group (whcih is pretty small, but well). (Also he doesn't show his face on camera, bc secret identity and stuff, it's just his voice over a video of something mundane, like the sky or a room in which is a fly or something)

And now this can go two ways, that i can think of (w dead on main in mind at least)

1) one day Jason finds a book which is supernatural romance and is actually good. It has a kidna cliche system for the supernatural stuff, but with a refreshing twist. The characters have depts and flaws, yet are still very likable. The plot is actually interesting and overall the story's theme is death, not belonging anywhere and overall stuff that is very close to Jason's heart. The story doesn't shy away from violence and it is suprisingly accurate.

Anyway Jason kinda falls in love w it, and it becomes famous for being the first novel Jason rated positively or something.

Meanwhile Danny, who was told by jazz writing is good way to get his feeling out, and just wanted to make a quick buck, is really fucking confused how tf did his book become so popular and who tf is this nerd who rates books for a living.

2) there is a famous series on Jason profile. It's the worst fucking series he ever read and it's just fucking awful. All the characters are fucking terrible, always going on and on about one thing, the romance sucks in a way that isnt even funny. Jason would love to believe some wrote this as a joke, if it wasn't for the absolute cringefest this was, and it wasn't a whole ass series!! Like who writes 12 books for a joke?

Danny ducking Fenton that's who. Dude was so ducking annoyed at his rogues, he threatened them w writing a terrible romance novels abt them. The ghosts, knowing his terrible grade in literature backed off for a moment, before someone crossed the line. And write Danny did. It was the worst thing he had ever written, the love interest was perfect caricature yet still faithfully go the original. And Danny, because fuck them he lost sommuch sleep over that one prank, decided to publish it. (The book was pretty thin so it didn't take that much time writing it). Unfortunately it became immensely popular in the infinite realm. So the ghosts started crossing lines on purpose. Before Danny figured it out, he had already published his fifth book and was writing another three. After some bargaining, getting a book written Abt them as a piece of shit love interest became a reward.

And while yeah, he had to say his writing was terrible and the books sucked, some small part of him was kinda proud y'know? Like a mother of her twelve ugly as fuck toddlers.

So when he saw some nerd on the internet not only shit talk his book, but also get money of it?

Danny decided to haunt him (just like his books did him, now that everyone knew Abt them thanks to this guy)

Thinking about the papyrus that makes the puzzles in nightmares castle

Also yes he IS the papyrus of something new, though from another timeline

Like he was there in like..the early days when they castle was done but not like, fully.

So like he must know nightmare VERY well, better then he knows his own brother at this point. Though he doesn't even know where his brother is, but from what he was told he may be dead?

Anyways, i think it'd be a relationship akin to whatever it is with flowey and papyrus. Papyrus still believes nightmare can be a good person.

Also i think nightmare would've tried the "hurting them as discipline" method once, when he was really angry. Only to be surprised that the papyrus got out his hold and went and hid in the library. Yeah he didn't realize that the occasional sparring and just watching him fight was enough for papyrus to get a rough idea of what to do, along with knowing him enough personally to know nightmare hates hurting his books and avoids it as much as he can.

Even more surprised when after he calmed down papyrus asked if he was alright, the reason why he did it, straight up just forced him to talk about it, and gave him a pat on the head and praised him for talking about his feelings

Yes this man forced an immortal being to say why he did what he did and even scolded him since "he could just tell him if he wanted something changed."

I truly think papyrus could fight god and win but ok

(Nightmare avoided papyrus for a while after that just...confused.)

being close to nightmare for a while i think he might've gone slightly off the rails mentally, just witnessing the insane shit nightmare does and maybe even because of his aura?

He is still very much papyrus, but he is a little closer to being like HT papyrus mentally.

Also i think he'd wear other clothing, actual armor instead of his battle body. Maybe something like a cloak too, thats like hanging off the side of his shoulder (that has a name, no idea what it is, just bear with me because i dont know how this shit works ✊️)

He's technically a guard in title, though he doesn't really do much guarding. Atleast he fulfilled his wish of being a royal guard?

He probably also learned proper etiquette, dancing and swordfighting. He doesn't really need it he just saw nightmare doing it and he thought if was cool, and well, nightmare doesnt have much to do after all of his friends dying- so he teached papyrus

He also knows piano! He is mostly self taught, and a little of when undyne taught him the basics. He learned because he missed undyne 😔

Actually, i think he'd pick up hobbies or have items to remind him of his friends. Snagging a random sanses hoodie because it looked like his brothers (and leaving some g and an apology note after.), learning piano(undyne), making his own hot chocolate recipe(grillby), ACTUALLY learning how to cook(undyne again), learning how to play the trombone(sans)

Also, just imagining nightmare wanting to fuck with killer so while killer is in the office he calls the papyrus over (and says to find his battle body) without telling killer. And just...killer being met with a papyrus that looks so eerily close to his. (I think every papyrus's body is slightly different, you dont notice it unless you'd be his brother or something)

Nightmare got scolded by papyrus afterwards but he wasn't really listening

Also papyrus spars with others frequently :3, he got permission to go out to AUs and spar with the people there (its mostly papyruses, undynes and alphyses but sometimes others too!) And he's done it for a long time aswell, he got really good at it! And he got even BETTER control of his magic then he already had

If you were to ever fight this papyrus it'd be one hell of a challenge for a shit ton of people, so thats fun

I was gonna give him more eyes but I got lazy I am gonna rant abt the watchers and stuff under the cut cause I really love my version of the watchers and have been dying to share how I view the silly eye cryptid.

Watcher rant ^^ (This wasn’t proof read btw so gl)

Sooooo Ima start off with talking abt the drawing I made, so this is watcher Grian aka Xelqua (Fun fact, Xelqua was Grians old name for his channel) and basically this would be considered their causal watcher form because DUN DUN DUNN they have a few diff types so they have a base form (so player disguises) semi-base form (player disgue + watcher features) lowest of watcher form (basically just what is shown in the peice here just less wings and eyes) their causal form (the one shown here in this piece) and thennn full form which is some creepy biblically accurate “humanoid” cyrptid creature.

There’s 5 types of watchers, low rank (usually newly turned ones) mid rank (most common one) high rank (woah your stupid for trusting these creatures this much 💀) pure watchers (blipped into existence as watchers) and then prime watchers (also blipped into existence but hold a lot more power, knowledge, wings, eyes, just rlly a lot more of everything tbh.)

The ranking system is based off skill, power, and reputation ig?? (it’s a odd one ok-) the easiest way I can explain it is it being the opposite to the feduel system so you can move up ranks you just can’t become a pure or prime watcher for obvious reasons.

Watchers usually only have 3 pairs of wings at most, pure watchers having abt 5 and prime watchers are undetermined. Their tails usually include some wings so a pure watcher might have one or two sets of wings on their tail with max for them being three and normal watchers very rarely have wings on their tails but will only have one pair if they do. (I am so not hinting at anything with this very specific thing noooo Grians wing number is soooo normal ;D)

This a bit of a odd one but they like don’t reproduce, pure watchers and prime watchers are just blipped into existence every now and again and taken care of by the previous generation of watchers and stuff.

Watchers can also be any species/hybrid so for example for example I usually base Grian off a great horned owl or rarely another owl I can’t remember the name of (I think it’s a long or short eared owl I sometimes base him off of idk) but anyway so watchers can be moth hybrids, phantoms, bats, anything but if the creature is non winged it’s eh a lot more painful to get turned because lets just say they give you wings you didn’t know you had :,)

Grians actually missing his eyes like his main eyes on his face like he has zero vision in those and usually tucks them away by covering his face with his main pair of head wings or the ones on top of his head but he wasn’t born blind it was more so a “freak accident” that made his eyes like that. He still sees tho through the rest of his watcher eyes because with his watcher type he can use more magic to hide things so he keeps his “extra” eyes out and makes them invisible and use those to see.

That’s all I have to say for now since I don’t wanna drag this post on for too long but thanks for reading this if you did lol

I ended up properly RANTING, so I'll put it all under the cut so people won't have to scroll down a bunch of paragraphs about someone's random oc's lore

Mermaid lore

Me and a friend of mine decided that there are two types of mermaids in their universe, ignoring that there are other types of fish people. Ones that live in big lakes, these ones being bigger due to most lakes kinda being somewhat enchanted and for simplicity this is what we call sirens(even if they're basically kinda the same thing, but also sirens i don't think are even half fish but shh), and ones that live in seas/oceans, these being slightly smaller and we're just gonna refer to them as mermaids. Why's that? Good question! Fantasy reasoning I suppose, but to give an even more exact reasoning, i'd say that all waters are enchanted due to a reason or two but lakes don't have as much movement and in the ones that sirens are mostly found, the water also has a hard time reaching the sea so the magic gets to concentrate more? Anyway, even if they're cousin species, they do not fancy each other. Sirens need a big quantity of food as they're bigger(thinking something 7ft), while mermaids are smaller. Both species are somewhat hostile towards anything that comes from the surface.

Backstory

Manya was born in a group of sirens originally, residing in a lake, but she got lost when she was still very small and ended up in the sea(The Gal'ruk Sea, to be more specific). Now, she gets adopted by another shoal of mers that think she's one of their own, but as she grows up, they start realising that she's different, and by different I mean that she's a siren. So she ends up exiled from the only home she ever knew, as a teenager basically. That, of course leaves her bitter. She was kicked out even though she did nothing. Just because she's different. No one wants her around, and no other group would accept her. The thought of trying and find her way back to a lake does cross her mind, but, even if she does, then what? Will she really be truly accepted? So she doesn't do anything. Basically just decides that she'll remain on her own. Regardless, as any respectable mermaid, she spends her time by tricking sailors to their death. Easy lunch. (Not that food helps too much).

'Present' times

Now, she'd be appearing in season 3. Picking up from where it last left us, Aphmau, Lucinda and Lo are in the The Gal'ruk Region, and the girls went to search through Enki's library(if i remember correctly). Well, at this point I decided that SOMEONE from the main cast is coming for them to warn them about some big danger(probably Shad, or the Shadow Knights in general, i do not have this part entirely decided). And that someone i decided would be Katelyn(and Travis). Manya ends up stalking this exact boat, awaiting a new meal. She takes Aphmau's form. And now, well, I have a very specific imagine in my head; Katelyn leaning over the boat's fence, probably slightly sea sick, a rock gets thrown towards her, and she looks downwards and just sees this...head peaking out of the water, familiar orange eyes looking at her. Black hair framing them. And she's just like '????'. Manya gets out of the water, they talk. Things feel off but for SOME reason Kate can't put her finger on what exactly it is(she's in a trance that's why). 'Aphmau' gets on board(on suspiciously shaky legs)...Kate does realise that this Aphmau...doesn't have her markings/tattoos. She's starting to think it's just a weird dream. But before things can get worse, Travis interrupts.

From this point onwards, I do not have any SPECIFIC ideas for her YET except concepts...I know they take her with them and for a while she resides in a huge aquarium on the Phoenix Alliance island(she does not appreciate that, for multiple reasons). And she keeps stealing people's forms to mess with them. She does befriend them. Eventually. She becomes friends with Vylad first tho, somehow(they eat together in comfortable silence)...I have some imagines in my head of her and Zoey ahem.. And she does get freed later in the season after all the disaster happening around them starts getting easier to handle. But she hangs around because she will finally find her crowd. She's not that important to the lore as much as she is a plot B, but she does help with coordination. After they start getting on her good side.

Anyway, this is the story summarised as much as I could! Thank you for actually going through my rambling if you read this and I tried to keep it as organised as I could ^^

okay there's some instances (yes im saying this 💀) where even i think goh went a bit too far like even though i think it's sick he caught suicune i do get why people were so mad about it? but cmon that was a bit too much hate 😭

Ash hadn't caught any legendaries his entire journey so yeah Goh catching suicune at the early-ish start of his journey was....just a bit like oh ok wow even for me lmao but yk that topic will probably never calm down lets be honest

Then there's him just catching every pokemon without battling, that I also get why ppl are mad because I was rewatching the unova anime a few days ago and a lot of the episodes had an emphasis onbattling before catching, and you can say that goes for the rest of the pokemon anime after that too...up until journeys 😂

Goh is a bit of a rulebreaker in that instance, i get that, but if people hate him taking so much screentime for Ash

(heads up the episode where goh goes on vacation and meets tokio again is the 1st episode in the anime history without any scene of Ash in it at ALL which is pretty crazy)

then I'm sure we wouldn't want to see Goh battle e v e r y single pokemon he catches, like his goal is literally to catchem all as well BUT BUT THEN AGAIN, that arguement is pretty weak i guess, and i understand why people would be mad, but I really dont like when they genuinely just hate him excessively 😭😭

OKAY POSITIVES NOW THIS IS WHAT I THINK

His character development was really nice in my opinion, and I really like how he more often emphasised the fact the reason why he wanted to catch throughout the series, and he reeaaaally understood pokemon better and forged such nice relationships with all of them

(also i was a bit sad Ash didnt get any galar starters too but....im sorry i feel like they're too perfect with Goh im proud of him)

he's really adorable goofy sweet amazing incredible gay and literally the entire package there are those minute things about the pokemon catching yadayada but that basically is forgotten when i watch him on screen

gonna reinforce my point about how he is perfect with the Galar starters...im sorry but look at them.

You can see how much he cares for his pokemon (all the hugs above omg stop 😔💖) and I wish other people would also see that 😭 😭

He's so sweet and kind now especially at the end when Ash finally managed to help open his heart to other people and also Ash himself 😛 😛 OK I told myself I wouldn't bring satogou into Goh's honour post but they're another reason I love Goh so much, they compliment each other so well and I couldn't think of anyone else more perfect for Ash I love them both 💗🥺 (... one thing abt me is that i love rambling abt emi and nayla in long posts…. ha ha ha ha again! (nat can only rant every 2-3 months or smth) as always chat u can learn abt them here

i think a lot about how they are when it comes to what they enjoy and do. this post gives a good insight into them as ppl i believe

emihiko is very passionate, he puts a lot into what he loves and hes open about it. he likes everything, hes able to appreciate anything despite it not being something he may have chosen or is his favorite thing or even knows much about, but if he loves something he pours all of himself in it

sure he likes everything, but he doesnt love just anything…once he finds what he loves he sticks to it with so much need for it to be part of his life… his hobbies mean a lot to him, his friends are people he always treasures, etc he almost picks and chooses what he puts energy into, and if he loves smth he will put parts of himself into loving that

he works hard for things, because he loves them. its genuine, he doesnt see any waste in stuff like his music because why is there any loss in doing something you enjoy?

nayla on the other hand, has never really grasped doing things with passion. he doesnt like many things, and the things he likes are because they have been put in front of him to like them. he mostly doesnt like things, especially things he cannot emotionally grasp or understand.

nayla will begin to like something if its a constant in her life, if its something almost…familiar. growing up in a home where she was only permitted to do what her parents wanted her to do and needing to please them, theres a difference between the need to please and the actual desire to please. maybe you need to please your parents, but you dont try to. for nayla, she needs and wants to please them and she does at the cost of many things.

he doesnt simply enjoy things, he has to find purpose and reason to do them. hes one of those people whos good at pretty much anything, but he holds no enjoyment in it. reading is just to pass time, singing is just his career, cooking is out of necessity, etc etc. he cant name his favorite things, and even when he can he doubts himself.

they both indulge and enjoy things very differently, and they each teach one another how to do so. emihiko is the only reason nayla begins to try new things, pulled out of his comfort zone. nayla is the only reason emihiko begins to think more past ‘i like this’ to things and questions if theyre good for him to like or not. it doesnt make him think if nayla is good for him though, and nayla doesnt bother after several instances to stop emihiko from bothering him

probably makes one question how they like each other, was nayla forced to because emihiko became a constant persistence? did emihiko know this and take advantage of it? does emihiko love nayla just because he simply does and has no real or genuine grasp past that of him as a person and is blinded by the need to be loved and validated? does emihiko pour all of himself fruitlessly into a person?

…dunno! tis a mystery. but theres weird and fucked up layers somewhere in there and there always has been. someday my freak nation i shall show u that i am indeed insane

i'm ranting abt yet another bl manhwa

i started reading even if you don't love me earlier this year and recently it concluded! i have many thoughts. none if them are nice.

for the uninitiated, even if you don't love me follows these two guys who meet in high school. the bottom is a poor guy who is continuing his education a year or two later (he initially dropped out to help support his family) and the top is a rich kid with anger issues. they go to a high school full of rich people, the poor bottom going there on a scholarship. he has plans to graduate and become a lawyer. the rich top is supposed to be taking over the conglomerate his family owns.

anyways the bottom and top share a class, and there's this other rich kid there who looks a lot like dio brando. he notices that the top is pretty antagonistic towards the bottom so he goes and tries to strike up a friendship with the bottom. this pisses the top off, ofc it does.

anyways the bottom and the top eventually start dating, he begins to spoil the bottom, even going as far as getting him a puppy. although the bottom felt uncomfortable with relying on the top so much all is well.

until it isn't. the bottom's dad dies in a hit and run, his colossal debt dumped onto him now, and he drops out again to work to pay it off.

now here's where i start to get annoyed with this manhwa.

someone dubbed this manhwa "even if you misunderstand me" and that really summarizes all 135 characters of it 💀 i'm perfectly fine with drama and dark plots but oh my GOD, 65% of the drama came from these idiots not communicating AT ALL. and it's acceptable-ish when they're seniors in high school (19 and 17), their miscommunication that set them up for failure started back then, but the manhwa does like 3 timeskips over the course of close to a decade if not longer, and the bulk of their miscommunication happens when they're too fucking old to be behaving like this. the other 35% of the drama is because they didn't fucking communicate as well. there's a difference between these two forms of miscommunication LOL

the first comes from them simply not talking their issues out. the other comes from them not telling each other shit. for example, towards the end of the manhwa the bottom gets kidnapped by dio brando and that could have been ENTIRELY AVOIDED had the top actually explained that dio brando is a psycho druggie and fucking hates his guts AND will go to extreme lengths to take whatever the top has his eyes on. this should have been explained to the bottom WHEN THEY WERE IN HIGH SCHOOL instead of the top playing it off as being possessive. another example is how dio brando is the one behind the bottom'a father dying. the top could have just told him that instead of fucking up their relationship even more by paying off the debt and forcing the bottom to pay him back then assaulting him when he was like several minutes late to paying him back at the agreed time. the reason he was late is bc he'd gotten beat up and gang raped at one of his jobs.

and that brings up another issue i have w the manhwa. the assaults that happened to the bottom genuinely don't make sense. i get why he got gang raped (dio brando set him up). but at one of his previous jobs his cowokers raped him there too? he was working at like a mining company or something in the mountains i think. was that really necessary. the top forcing him to give him a blowjob after he paid him back late didn't make much sense either but i will let that slide since he was trying to be a hardass.

anyways they eventually got to the point where they were making an effort to communicate which was way too late in the story, lol. it was nice to see but immensely annoying to stumble thru 100+ chapters of them having the stupidest beef bc they're like 7 year olds in the body of adults. at the end dio brando kidnapped the bottom and tried to rape him but he got stabbed in the eye and that stalled him long enough for the top to bust in guns blazing and nearly beat him to death. dio brando got sent to the psych ward and the top paid some guy to kill him in there. they live happily ever after with their dog. 3/10 story, i feel like this manhwa being officially published really tanked the quality of the story, but i feel this way about pretty much every manhwa i've picked up, it's just more obvious in some vs others

But yeah I’m currently thinking about what flowers I should add for which song lmao. For I won’t say I’m in love I’m thinking of Dove with a black rose? Which means forbidden love, since I think that’s the main reason why she’s in denial about her feelings. (That’s what I got from all of your answers anyway)

And then there’s songs like Evermore. I love its showcasing of Doves and Wukong’s dynamic and wanted to show Dove leaving the frame with Wukong sitting with flowers that symbolize dove. (“Now I know she’ll never leave me, even as she runs away”) and I was wondering was flower you think would symbolize dove? I just don’t want to get anything wrong! It’s completely okay if you don’t know though! I don’t want you to feel forced to go down a rabbit hole of flower langue just because of my silly questions.

But if you do by chance know a bit of flower language (I’m just guessing that you do with how much flowers show up, but again, if you don’t, feel free to chuck this ask into the void lmao) do you also know what flower would symbolize Wukong from the perspective of dove? Wanna incorporate that in the Never Knew I Needed one.

Also, (again, SO sorry for ranting, I think I just like talking lmao) for Just The Way You Are I want to show flowers that mean Wukongs love for her. So I’m thinking of a flower (I forgot the name lol) that means protection? Just because that seems like how Wukong shows his love, even when he doesn’t realize his feelings for her. But if you think his love language would be something different, please feel free to tell me!

I love the idea of using flower symbolism! I really wanted to lean into it for the Dovesbane arc (Wolfsbane is another name for monkshood *corny eyebrow wiggling*) because of the connection to Dove's old friend and everything his dad would tell him. But tbh I just love flower language in general, especially how different plants can have different meanings in various cultures. So I'll definitely lean into it more, just not as much as I did in that arc.

A flower I think that would represent Dove well are Althea's (hibiscus syriacus, there's a few flowers that are called similar names), they're also called Rose of Sharon. They're a resilient flower that not only represent love in many places around the world, but also healing.

Also, this. It's quite literally used in a way Dove uses her own powers.

As for symbolising Wukong from Dove's pov? I'd go with marigolds. Not just because they've been nicknamed the herb of the sun (teeheehee) but also because they have a vast range of symbolism to them. They're often associated with life and death (ironic because of Wukong's immortality) but can also represent two things Dove really admires about Wukong: creativity and passion. After all, he is known for both his cunning and impulsiveness.

Flowers to symbolise Wukong's love for Dove? There's a few that come to mind. Anemones can mean a whole lot of things based on their colour, like protection, anticipation, and love. I also think about carnations when it comes to their love as well, but more specifically pale red carnations. Not pink, and even though red itself represents affection and a deep love, pale red carnations are given to others as a way to say, "My heart aches for you" which is just 🥺

As a little bonus, I'll also throw in the acacia blossom. They often represent concealed love, which I think sums up Dove and Wukong for a chunk of their story. Even when Dove does realise her feelings, she has this huge crisis and struggles with her emotions. Some days she may feel like giving into them, other days she wishes those feelings didn't exist at all and tries to hide them as best she can. Girl really just needs to accept the fact that she loves him already 🙄

… lissen I’m still only recently diagnosed with adhd so I still don’t know how to work with it… I wanna draw so many things, wanna make merch, comics, I wanna write a fuckton of silly cringe fanfics… I wanna make videos? Like maybe youtube videos rambling abt stuff while drawing but then I don’t know if anyone would even be interested in that, and besides I haven’t done video editing in…. Probably close to 20years? What program should I use? Anyone got any tips on that?

I also wanna try doll customization cause it’s kinda only been the last decade or so where I’ve allowed myself to like dolls… reasons for that being … uh… gender stuff… it’s like only now in my life, around 30 have I finally gotten somewhat close to getting a grasp on my gender and sexuality, and I never even really realized before that this was something I had a problem with? Which probably makes no sense tbh…

I also wanna do sculpting and even paint, after art school teachers made me feel like I should never paint again bcs idk man I wasn’t up to their standards 🤷

And… I wanna do all this stuff but not only does brain say ‘adhd my guy��� but there’s also my increasing health issues that… I mean I’ve always had them but I guess getting older makes it harder and harder to constantly deal with them… and that’s another thing I never really realized was so bad until back when I was in Japan in 2015-2016 as an exchange student and would have to go to the hospital increasingly often bcs of pain nobody could diagnose… aand then I was shamed for it bcs having to go to the hospital in the middle of the night sometimes was a huge hassle to the dorm staff, idk I was a problem…

Since then I’ve had two operations and will probably need to have more in the future. Also, amusingly, when I finally got diagnosed I was looking at the list of symptoms, all of which I could relate to in at least some way, but the ones that stood out, for some reason, were ‘constant exhaustion’ and then below it was ‘insomnia’ and… maybe I’m not actually lazy when I’m tired all the time? But y’know, I don’t really wanna use a chronic condition as an excuse to just do nothing, plenty of ppl have chronic problems but still do stuff with their life… but when I think like that I also remember this isn’t a ‘pain competition’ or something like that and different people just have different capabilities to deal with chronic pain and such… idk, I honestly think I’m still trying to come to terms with the realization that being exhausted and in pain all the time probably counts as some kind of disability….. but I don’t feel like I’m allowed to say I’m disabled bcs I do also have good days, you know? I should probably try harder to just DO things?

Ahem, it’s like 9AM and I haven’t been able to sleep and stuff hurts… I just wanna go do something productive but instead I’m whining on here which I probably shouldn’t do bcs this is the internet and strangers can see what you post and maybe use it against you but also sometimes you just really wanna rant into the void… or maybe more like semi-void cause idk, maybe someone reads this and can relate or give advice or just talk or something? Ethnicity: German, born and raised until the age of 13 and had to move to SSB because private school (still gotta make up a reason why she goes there)

Age: usually around 17 in my stories

Identity: Comes out as non-binary at around 14-15, uses she/they pronouns (mostly she/her but is fine with they/them and some neo pronouns) and is demiromantic bisexual :3

Hobbies: BAKING!!, occasionally playing violin, making sketches of her cats and fish

Pets: 2 cats (one calico and one white cat. The white cat is named 'endgame') and a koi fish at home (teenage her thought it was absolutely hilarious to have a fish with the same name as you)

random yuno stuff to make up for the fact ive only been rambling abt makoto so far

yuno is a little MENACE /aff they love pulling little pranks, annoying people and inconveniencing them in little ways. she obviously never takes it far and because she can read people well, they know when someone is too annoyed/upset and makes sure to apologize and make it up to them when she gets carried away. she loves playful banter and their love laguage is definitely friendly bullying

doesnt have the best relationship with her dad and her mom is uhm . out of the picture you could say [this is a pun only i and perhaps pinna get but i will elaborate on it. someday] so they tend to sneak out a lot to stay with UNIT MEMBER THAT SHALL NOT BE MENTIONED UNTILL MY SISTER DECIDES TO FINALLY FLESH THEM OUT AND TELL ME ABOUT THEM. anyway yeah yuno doesnt like staying home unless its them locked up comfy in their room doing their own thing, so they go out a lot and spend most of their time out and about doing whatever they feel like doing

despite their cheery and energetic personality, their mindset is actually pretty nihilistic, believing nothing really matter and life has no set meaning. she believes people exist just to exist, same as everything else. youre born, you live, you die. however she doesnt see it as a bad thing, it motivates her to make life as fun as possible while it lasts and to not dwell on anything too long since its inconsequential in the long run, my girl just wants to have fun with it !!

very creative person !!! she cant stick to just one art medium for too long and instead does all kinds of stuff, their favourite form is watercolor painting tho! she thinks the soft look of the paints is very pretty, but besides that she also does sculptures, writing, other types of paintings, digital art, sewing, literally you name any form of artistic craft and they probably tried it at least once, its their main form of self expression since they dont talk about their feelings like. at all

related to the feelings thing, theyre VERY expressive, which is one reason why they never feel the need to talk about their feelings, its cause everyone can simply tell what they feel. she learned that if people cant read you they will ask too many questions and get overly concerned, so she started putting her feelings on full display, yet still doesnt like elaborating on them. shes the kind of person you can know for years and suddenly you realize that after all this time spent together, you dont know much about them at all. she doesnt feel the need to open up, believing some things arent important for others to know [mostly because of her life "philosophy" or whatev u wann call it]

their fav colours are yellow and pink!!! pretty obvious since they LOVE wearing them, most of their closet is actually made up of clothing in those exact colours :3 if you ask her to pick between those 2 colours she will go on a rant about how its impossible to choose and will make the speech overly emotional and theatrical for no reason other than to mess with you

speaking of theatrical shes a HUGE wxs fan !!! she randomly saw their show one day when hanging out at the phoenix wonderland and LOVED IT!!! again, she loves every form of art so this was to be expected. emu especially caught their eye with her silly childlike wonder vibes, not to mention the pink hair was an immediate attention grab for yuno lmao. when they learn more about the troupe they grew to not only admire and respect them as performers but also on a more personal level, especially tsukasa and his leadership and sheer stage presence. i feel like tsukasa would definitely end up treating yuno like another one of his siblings tbh dkdghdjdhbd they have a pretty silly dynamic in my head

basically she thrives in any social setting, not everyone enjoys their company but shes not bothered by that at all and continues to do her own thing and being their silly energetic self, its no fun otherwise for them

she enjoys learning and wants to learn so many random things.. they also often just study how other people act and have a very strong interest in psychology and social stuff, you can often catch her staring and looking around at others with an oddly determined and focused look. despite her love of learning they do NOT enjoy school, mostly using it as a social space and an excuse to not be home. their grades are fine, but she finds most classes boring and only wants to learn stuff that interests her.

one of her hobbies includes fixing random stuff no matter how difficult with no experience because shes convinced she can just "figure it out" and it always works. they cant explain how they did it exactly but she will fix pretty much anything up somehow. everyone finds it a little scary because you can find her messing with electrical objects to fix them with zero clue on what to actually do to fix them. but they will always be fixed.

their only issue that they cant seem to brush off and follows them around no matter what is their fear of abandonment, she feels the constant need to be around people and have as many close friends as possible, they cant stand being alone. its no fun living when you have no one. they want to do their thing and have fun, but sometimes the self doubt creeps in and she starts wishing she was more normal. its a constant struggle for them, but they still tend to try and brush it off with some excuse like "i can always find someone else", and immediately feel weird about thinking that because who would want to replace their friends like that? this runs rlly deep btw and i wanna expand on this more when i figure out her backstory properly

so yeah, they stay silly but at what cost... /j

THIS is healthy. this is right. comforting. safe. found. warm. home. loving. caring. communicating in ways I dreamed of in my last relationship. last time I thought we were Stede and Ed because we kept accidentally (or purposefully) hurting each other and building up resentment and insecurity and trust issues- which was true. but this time? this time we are Stede and Ed for all the reasons Mary listed about her and Doug and what it feels like to be in love. we have separate interests we can show one another without fear of feeling judged. and we genuinely enjoy them, even if we don't understand in the same way the other does. we aren't afraid to be ourselves- I am not scared to be authentically me, not just the parts of me that are generally presentable and readily accepting to society, but the awkward, sweaty, anxious, paranoid, trust-problem parts- she sees that and loves me anyways. and not only does she love me anyways, they put in effort to make me feel EXTRA loved in ways I lacked last time. even if it's unintentional. same for her. n e ways, i found this highschool dropout au,,, im Sure you can guess how i feel abt dugout and tiderdrop together, but personal biases aside (its Icky to me and someday ill figure out why)..... lets read this fic.

(to prove i am Not taking things out of context, heres the whole fic)

FIRST of all, youre ognna notice that the prose is Boring, written in long and uninspired runon sentences. i dont wanna just bash on an inexperienced writer, but if youre gonna be this lazy about it.. who is it for :x

second, headcanoning mariquitas name as the Only spanish name you can think of that starts with "mari"? is just uninspired. mariquita wouldnt Choose a hero name so obviously close to her Real Name.. again im not an unmasker, but this headcanon is ridiculous....

finally, and most importantly.... "he sighs wearily". umm, No actually. he Doesnt. you dont even get an insight into dugouts thoughts other than "im nervous about school >m<"

Needless to say, this and his whiny, whimpering demeanor is incredibly infantilizing,. Furthermore in this context, all it does is plays into the ""yaoi"" trope of a big buff bad big boy x boy who says uwaaah! (i hope it goes without saying, this is Not a condemnation of boys who say uwahh, yall are doing gods work and ily)

cramming tigerdrop and dugout into this trope comes off as (and actually is) incredibly homophobic and harmful. need i remind you, these are real people. i wouldnt be surprised if this author was a fujoshi or something too :x

tigerdrop has lived in new york all his life, and he appears to be pretty bored with life (ex: pushes pipsqueak over just because he thought itd be funny, no doubt an allusion to the canal street incident last july)

his characterization is actually really confusing and i think its supposed to be like, Alluring??? but its just disconcerting :x

thats It. Two established characters and empty conversations with others (the mariquita mischaracterization especially drives me up the wall ever since i confirmed my kin with her)

they meet in math class when dugout unknowingly sits in tigerdrops seat..... girl, Literally no one in high school acts like this.

at this point, this fic is no better than glee and the millions of other incorrect and careless portrayals of highschoolers. tigerdrop has some weird banter with the faceless teacher (yet Another reason i hate most highschool fics)

the name changes between 1st -> 2nd is simply for convenience!! others found it hard to pronounce ‘thien’ correctly so it shortened to ‘en’ to make it easier ^_^

if first year asta looks considerably more skrinkly thats because he is!! the essence is she wants to be an idol soo bad but bc reimei’s student population is literally All Guys and its a bad idea to have a fem-presenting idol intermingled in there, it goes undercover in guy uni 👍 which theyr totally cool with whatever gets them to idoldom fastest. hence the girlier vibe and the messy short haircut

they actually have to retake 1st year due to personal circumstances (get Child of Divorce’d). only reason theyre allowed to come back is bc they kinda Are pretty girlslay when it comes to idolisms + since they were first allowed into reimei on a scholarship, theyr allowed to return but only if they shill a hefty tuition (father’s child support payments all go to tuition <3) + another condition wherein theyll deliberate with reimei’s school board directly with the express intent of suppressing nonspecial student rebellion but we’ll talk abt this later

1st year pt 2 and 2nd year they get their shit together becos she fixates on The Guy Ever of course becaus im incapable of being normal and not putting entatsu everywhere i go but theyr dynamic is more teacher/disciple than romantic or anything . originally en is the one teaching tatsumi the ropes of reimei, but it becomes Very Clear that tatsumi needs not help learning to be a good student hes already ballin on his own (however he needs plenty help learning to Be Normal) and the dynamic flops with en now becoming tatsumis follower / admirer by the time second year rolls around and the roots of the revolution start to be planted ^_^ they turn a blind eye to tatsumis activities and pretend to not be affiliated with him in anyway to avoid either orf them getting in trouble

Easiest way to explain her is that shes doctor but in a different timeline,, basically back in middle school me n my friends made a fantasy rpg AU for ourselves where the story was we all got isekai'd into a classic high fantasy kinda world named Arlaum. Last time we talked abt it was around 3 years ago now i think, but i had a random brainrot about it recently for some reason and decided to redesign the oc i made based off my current sona (doctor)(which is why their name is arlaum dr for now) and tried to build up a little bit of a side story for them just because. However, while i had this brainrot i also had fear&hunger and yakuza 0 circulating in my head, so one thing led to another and she started becoming a whole different character with completely different lore from what she originally had and now i just have a new oc HAHDHAH

Anyways i also wanna drop her lore in case i forget or i come back to this months later when ive turned her into yet another completely new person... Its really messy and just filled with self indulgent stuff but the basic outline is that after separating from their party, arlaum dr gains the trust of a newly crowned king who despite being rather young for the crown, already has suspicious interests in magic and rituals, and arlaum dr ultimately gets sent into a fear&hunger-esque dungeon. Originally she was meant to look for something there for only a few days before coming back, but ends up getting stuck with going deeper inside as her only option. As she ventures deeper and deeper the structures within the rocks get stranger and stranger and even more aged, with different creatures littered around, getting more and more otherworldly as she defeats and gets past them one by one, losing pieces of the scared, inexperienced adventurer that first came in and becoming more and more like an apex predator of the depths.

Stuff she gets up to in the depths varies wildly, sometimes its just straight up surviving day to day, hour to hour, and sometimes i send her off to other AUs to keep the little shred of humanity in her alive just a bit longer only to come back to the depths separated once again from the friends she managed to make.

As of right now details of her lore aren't that set in stone yet so i might change it completely for no reason in the future but yeah this is basically how shes doing
