Hello i rlly love ur blog! I just cant get enough of ur writings *^* could i request madara finding out that his crush secretly draws and paints him. And one day she secretly paints him a portrait of him and his brother izuna and she leaves it on his door in the uchiha compond. But he ends up finding out it was her bc he reconizes her signature with his sharingan. (This is in the leaf village and izuna is alive) could u put in how izuna and madara would feel about the painting and him confronting her but shes nonchalant and says she didnt do it but drops her book of her sketches right in front of him lmao

No knock.

No chakra signature lingering outside his door.

Just a canvas—propped neatly against the entrance to Madara’s private quarters in the Uchiha compound.

He finds it early, before the village begins to stir, before even the birds commit to their morning songs.

The moment his eyes land on it, the air goes still.

It’s a portrait.

He recognizes the subjects instantly: himself and Izuna, as children. Young—before the war had hardened the edges of their mouths.

Before his eyes had grown so heavy.

Izuna is laughing, caught mid-gesture, one hand tugging at Madara’s sleeve. And Madara… Madara is looking at him.

Not scowling. Not brooding.

Just watching, eyes soft with something too gentle to name.

It unsettles him.

Not because it’s inaccurate.

Because it’s true.

Behind him, footsteps approach.

-Huh.- Izuna exhales, pausing beside him to look over the painting. His tone is lighter than expected. -Didn’t know we were someone's muse.-

Madara doesn’t answer.

His Sharingan spins slowly—once, twice—and there, in the corner of the canvas, beneath the shadow of a tree: a signature.

Small.

Subtle.

Inked in a shade barely darker than the bark.

(Y/N).

His jaw tightens.

She’s at the edge of the training fields when he finds her.

Alone, seated cross-legged beneath a canopy of trees, sketchbook in her lap, humming quietly like she belongs to a world with no enemies.

She doesn’t even flinch when his shadow falls over her.

-You’ve been drawing me.

His voice is quiet.

Sharp as a thrown kunai.

She doesn’t look up. -No idea what you’re talking about.-

-You left a painting at my door.

-Could’ve been anyone. Uchiha fan club’s growing by the day. You’re very drawable.

-You signed it.- His tone flattens.

She pauses, just long enough to hint that yes, she knows she’s been caught.

But she shrugs anyway. -Weird. I’d sue for forgery.-

Then she stands.

Too fast.

The sketchbook fumbles from her fingers, landing open on the dirt.

Madara doesn’t need to kneel. His eyes are already scanning the pages.

Dozens of them.

His face—turned in every direction.

Laughing. Frowning. Bleeding. Sleeping.

One where he’s brushing Izuna’s hair out of his eyes.

Another with his back turned, shoulder tense like he’s just caught sight of a battlefield.

She’s captured him in ways even the mirror doesn’t.

She doesn’t move.

Doesn’t try to stop him.

Just crosses her arms and waits like she didn’t just hand over her ribcage with the pages still warm.

Izuna appears a moment later, glancing between them.

His gaze lands on the open sketchbook.

-You painted that?- He asks, surprised.

But there’s no teasing.

No smirk.

His voice is quiet, reverent.

She rolls her eyes. -No. Madara painted it. I’m just here for moral support and criminal denial.

Madara closes the book carefully.

Wordless.

Something behind his eyes has changed—not softened, no, he’s not made of that—but stilled.

As if some question that once gnawed at him has gone quiet.

He looks at her again.

Really looks.

-You remembered what I looked like back then.

Her shrug is light.

Too light.

-Someone had to.

He doesn’t answer.

He just walks past her, slipping the sketchbook under his arm.

-Hey! That’s mine!

-Not anymore.

Izuna throws an arm around her shoulders before she can chase him down, half-grinning. -Consider it payment. You made him look human again. That’s worth something.-

-He is human.

-Convince him of that.

She sighs.

Later that night, Madara doesn’t hang the portrait.

He places it on a table in his room—facing the door, where the light hits it just right.

He doesn’t mention it again.

But he never moves it.

And he never returns the sketchbook.

So, my mind has been reclaimed by the Wild Kratts fandom, and I cannot escape.

So I´ll make random headcannons! (Disclaimer: These are not about the actual Kratt bros, I´m writting about the show)

STARTING WITH THE BLUE BOY.

Martin is an organized disaster; Alow me to elaborate. Martin has BIG trouble keeping himself of getting distractions or organizing at all, and yet somehow finds what he´s looking for.

He loves moving around and NEEDS to say hi to every animal and give them THE BEST NAMES, wich I personally belive is the reason he has more scars due to animal attacks than the rest of the crew (I can imagine him getting a bit too close to a grizzly cub and naming him Presley and his mom Mrs.Sharpclaw. I cannot unsee it. ).

Sometimes he´ll talk about animals for hours and compete with Chris to know who knows more about creatures. It´s a wonder how Tortuga hasnt been wrecked yet.

This guy here is a bit bilingual, unlike Chris who dosent quite understand new languages. Martin likes to learn new words in spanish with Aviva.

Also (based on that one interview where Martin said he at first wanted to be a veterinarian that mentioned someone in tumblr but I cant remember their name), Martin has some interest in the med area, and got even bigger after the Orangoutang episode.

He HATES to be still, specially after the tree episode. I think he probably hates small spaces and will not tolerate to be locked out.

I do personally belive he´s kind of the unnamed leader of Tortuga. While he´s not a strategist and is a total clumsy geek, this guy will act quickly and is very good under stressfull situations and making decesive decisions, even if he sometimes does not think it through (like in the Flying fish episode). He's a professional in his job and everyone forgets that sometimes.

Martin is the type of person to believe in second chances, and tries to see good in everything and (mostly) everyone.

BUT. Hurt his friends or/and (god forbid) his brother, and RUN. He'll catch you anyway, but is worth to try.

THIS IDIOT DOES NOT KNOW WHAT IS SELF PRESERVATION AND NOT BEING A HUMAN SHIELD.

Yet, he has the most consistent sleep schedule.

I like to think that he and Aviva were the first members of the whole Wild Kratts project, but it was far different, like some kind of lab in an island. Then Koki and Jimmy came and BOOM. Tortuga. Chris was the last member to officially join the crew, but he was there since the begining.

Martin can play MANY instruments, but only knows the cheesiest, most anoying and weird songs to ever exist.

He has used the "I´m the older brother and I´ll tell mom" Card on Chris way to many times.

Martin is the oldest member of the crew, wich makes him feel responsible for everyone and tries to protect them. Still, he´s just to silly to do so, and always gets distracted.

He can´t draw. Like, at all. Chris makes fun of that all of the time.

He´s a heartbreaker and he dosen´t even know. Like, he´s so oblivious to the fact that many people have a crush on him and he´s just like "You´re such a great friend haha!" after literally telling said person how pretty and awsome they are.

He´s got that blonde on him.

If it wasn´t for the fact that she´s a villain, Donita and Martin would be great friends.

Maybe I´ll make more parts, I dunno...

hi! i was wondering what exactly you mean by characters that are kind on purpose? i have an idea but im curious about the details. could you give some examples?

i was also wondering how you like the characters in tevinter nights compared to how you like them in game, just your opinion on them. oh and did you read the book before you played the game or the other way around?

oh of course!! i meant characters who are extremely kind and selfless and never take things personally, but are written this nicely on purpose, to make a point. like the idiot in dostoevsky's book - the prince is kind and sweet and doesn't hold a grudge, he's disarmingly sincere and always compassionate, he has great insight into other people and why they behave the way they do. and it's on purpose in that this makes him extremely singular, a mystery to other people, cause every other character is held back by social conventions or pragmatic desires or cruel impulsions, and the prince simply doesn't have those. i think this idea also applies to hareton in wuthering heights to some level, he's not saint like and doesn't talk people through their issues, but he is patient and willing to endure cruelty, to take violence inward and not look for revenge. everyone else is thinking about revenge and who they can torment as proxy for revenge (like heathcliff taking revenge on hindley by mistreating hareton, little cathy is mean to hareton because heathcliff makes her miserable) but he is willing to defend little cathy from heathcliff and to defend heathcliff from little cathy, even thought that puts him at risk. he's very selfless in a book where everyone else is pretty selfish, so it stands out

i really love both of these characters, i just don't like it if someone is meant to be a normal regular person but they're a saint in social interactions anyway, or if everyone is also like that - i dont remember for sure what prompted me to make that post in the first place but i was probably vaguing veilguard, i imagine. that's just my personal bias but i cant imagine someone insulting me to my face and responding by trying to coach them through their feelings, and it doesn't feel like a natural human response to me, even less so when everyone else is also like that. i wouldn't mind kindness if there was one character who was a ray of sunshine and always selfless, but we have TOO much sunshine in this beautiful guard of the veil for it to feel like a trait specific to anyone

i read tevinter nights after playing dav! i went in dav with zero info on the companions aside from very very basic things, like i saw some gifs. that's about it i ended up not finishing tevinter nights because of the eight little talons story - i disliked that one SO thoroughly that i needed a break after. but that's so weird, because i only realized recently that the author for that also wrote the lucanis story that i really enjoyed?? so idk what happened there, i don't get why courtney woods would do that to me. i hesitate to call anything objectively bad, but i found that story painfully sexist in how it handled the characters of teia and viago, and also not very good as a murder mystery (i guessed the killer based on the fact that the character spoke ominously and had otherwise nothing to do). i liked teia and viago way more before i read this, i will never look at them the same again </3

but i did still like the lucanis story, and it has made me sympathize with illario way more lol. it's a shame he's written with zero subtlety in the game, because i do like their dynamic in this one! if i had to help my cousin on a special mission and he kept changing objectives and getting us in danger by being too kind and sweet, i would also want him mega dead tbh. i'd think about it at least. looking back though, i think the issues with lucanis do start in this story ; in that he's an assassin with a moral code who doesn't kill innocent witnesses and will draw out a killing to make the target suffer more - i think that's 1) unprofessional 2) contradictory? for example, in this story, he kills a bunch of guards. were they all guilty? to the level of deserving death? i wouldn't think so. the idea that someone can be a good & moral assassin who only kills bad guys is a total dead end, it's not possible. especially if he's not a vigilante, but a hired mercenary. it shows in his banter in dav, his sense of morality made him sound more deluded and sinister to me than if he'd said "i kill people for money, whatever" i still think this story is fun in itself, and i enjoyed it. i think this contradiction in lucanis could have been interesting if it had been on purpose and explored in the game, but i think the writers really thought they found the loophole to have an assassin who is morally unquestionable....... too bad i liked neve's story, i thought her bitterness and the way she assumes the worst outcomes and the worst of everyone, but still never gives up, that was fun. if neve was written by the same person who wrote the story (and i think so?), then she was written by the same woman who wrote evka, which i think is amazing because i thought multiple times that they were pretty similar, but i like how it works for evka more. i think it's because evka is balanced by antoine, the optimist to her pessimism, who knows her deeply and allows her to show a softer side without it feeling jarring or contradictory like it did for me with neve

i also liked the first story, the one that had strife, thought i felt VERY unprepared for the first named character in the book to be extremely elf racist. it's not bad, it's definitely on purpose, it's just that since you never see anything like that in da:v, i didn't think it would be on the table. i liked the action scenes and the little twists and reveals, which i think may what weekes is best at writing tbh... my favorite dragon age book i read is probably still the masked empire, and i remember liking that about it, the action and the suspense and the twists

i like the story with antoine and evka, who are great and i love that we get to see them before they fall in love. i think this story benefits from the fact that i know they will come back later and their relationship will grow - on its own, i probably would have found it just ok, but the book and game feel very complementary and work together well in my opinion :-)

other stories have already slipped out of my mind for the most part, i just remember liking the one with emmrich and really disliking the one with dorian. maybe i'll finish it at some point, there probably arent that many stories left anyway... just for completion's sake

I drew. a lot for this. Also heads up for non RE mutuals this is going to be. confusing for you. I'm going to do my best to annotate and provide context but you are in for a wild ride.

Anyway long ass lore post for how Lisa and Robbie go from fighting to working together in this AU.

In the RE8 cannon all of the Dimitrescu daughters are made at the same time but for the sake of ✨the situations✨ I am going to change that. Lisa lived the longest as a human before being assimilated into the mold with a Cadou (infecting extension of the Megamycite). Technically her 'sisters' are older than her, as they were assimilated a while ago. Lisa has been a member of house Dimitrescu for about 2 years now. This puts her in this. Weird middle child zone. She wants to make her 'family' proud but she's also aware that what makes them proud isn't really the most achievable thing in the world (expecially with Bela to contend with. Older sibling overachiever to the maximum). She's got a certain degree of distance from them and sometimes wonders if she wasn't better off before all of this. Her memories are fuzzy but still there for the most part. She cant remember faces or names but she remembers feelings and situations. She doesen't remember families being like this (she wants OUT).

Chasing prey brought in is fairly standard for her. It's some of the only entertainment she gets. So when she catches Robbie exploring around the castle she has no idea that he's special in any way. He's just some new guy she gets to mess with before eating and DAMN he's FUN. If she didn't know any better she could almost think that he has experience being chased around (he does. he very much so does. all of RE7's worth). What she ALSO doesn't know is that Mother Miranda (big bad. Different from Lady Dimitrescu, who she refers to as 'mother') is planning on using Gabe (who is replacing baby Rose in this) to try and resurrect her dead kid with a 'perfect vessel' and this requires. uh. disassembly (in the base RE8 gameplay the reason Ethan goes to each house is because uhhhhhhhh his infant daughter has been dismembered and stored in jars and he needs to collect them so he can put her back together.... yeah). Robbie intervenes before this can get going and is instead going house to house because if he wants to get out of this stupid fuckass villiage he needs to collect the key components to unlock the gate keeping him in here (i need him to have a reason. to kill everyone. its important to me ok).

When Lisa finds out this random, but fun guy, she's been chasing who she thought was JUST SOME NORMAL GUY killed one of her sisters she mentally goes 'Oh. OH. THERES A CHANCE FOR ME TO GET OUT OF HERE'. That in conjunction with discovering Mother Miranda is planning on FULLY DISMEMBERING A CHILD she uh. Makes some decisions.

What you have to understand about her plans of matricide is that neither Lady Dimitrescu or her sisters can actually really fully die. Sure, their bodies are gone, but their consciousness is stored in the hive mind and they can reform later after gathering their strength. If she has to put her kinda shitty found family in time out for the sake of getting herself out of here + keeping her newly revived conscience clean she's absolutely going to do it.

(fuckin. backgrounds. dialogue. fuck. why can things not just take place inside of the void. DUKE MY BELOVED WE LOVE AND RESPECT DUKE IN THIS HOUSE HES A REAL ONE fuck now I got it in my head that he keeps trying to play matchmaker for them and i need to. go draw that because its too funny not to.)

Lisas plan involves this lab I had her mention in the comic above. It's where Robbie needs to go to synthesize more poison for the dagger of deaths flowers, and SUPPOSEDLY where a medicine that might allow her to go outside again might be (enemies of Lisas type become SIGNIFICANTLY weaker in the cold. She could try to bundle up but its still really not a good idea). She would love to go there herself, but it's in an area of the castle thats exposed to the cold of the outdoors.

The Two of them make a fairly decent team and Lisa finds herself having a LOT more fun hunting with someone else than she does on her own. They balance each other out pretty well; Robbie works primarily with guns so he can watch Lisas back while she's up close wrecking any grunts they run into. It's also pretty helpful having someone who can turn into a swarm of flies for puzzle solving purposes.

After all this Robbies trust for her increases SIGNIFICANTLY. He's still not really sure about her, but she's moved out of the 'active threat' classification into the 'kinda helpful' zone.

Lisa's plan has three ways it could go:

They all fail miserably and get sent to mental and physical time out in the megamycite.

They win and get to go free but either the medicine isn't there or it doesen't work. In which case she's just planning on getting as many coats as possible and Try-or-Die-ing it.

The medicine is there and she actually gets to roam free

Luckily for her, the medicine IS there, it DOES work, and Robbies sense of honor / noticing her usefulness (its hard to wage a one man war on an entire community of mutants ok you cant blame him for appreciating having some ACTUAL HELP for once) all align for the best possible scenario.

The cold does still affect her; her healing isn't as quick as it usually is and her increased strength / speed is a bit reduced, but she can go!! outside!!

She decided to stick with Robbie in getting out of the village as a whole. She doesen't really know what the world outside is like but anything has to be better than here (plus if she stays here she's probably getting shoved into the Megamycite by Mother Miranda PERMENANTLY and that just. wont do).

Also yes Lisa being with Robbie for the rest of his adventures means that she is there for Heisenbergs 'proposal'. She uh. Does not like that much.

ive always sort of had the idea of pomnori being a complicated relationship that goes from hate to some weird conception of love, i just dont think they would like each other at first. neither of them seem to be very open to letting people in and that would definitely create some distance between them, especially in how they go about it

to me, nori is afraid of vulnerability and to confront things like that because of the impact of the past and spending so much time alone just naturally stunts anyone from being able to connect to people normally

and then pomni… honestly i have no idea what her deal is! shes just an introvert who needs to warm up to others, im sure theres some unresolved issues with her as well but when you dont really remember anything from before the circus theres not much you can do at that point

i feel like pomni would probably see nori as a “secondary jax” in a way, nori is obviously not like jax or even really rude at all but i feel like she would unintentionally come off that way when shes actually just antisocial. but i also think nori would just think pomnis annoying at first, yet there would be something that draws them to one another

i know i bring up noris family a lot in pomnori posts but i just feel like it could be their gateway into whatever their relationship is, nori hasnt seen her family in years and is afraid to even try getting back into contact because she KNOWS she fucked up and she feels like theyd hate her if they dont already do… and i think pomni would resent her for it. now pomni is an understanding person, if nori was to open up about all of this she’d try to get noris side, but i feel like even if she DID understand it wouldnt change that underlying anger

now i dont know how much pomni cares about stuff such as family, but i think it would make sense regardless. pomni cant go back to her family or friends nor can she even REMEMBER them, she has nothing of her past life except for maybe a distant memory or two but aside from that? nothing. the fact nori has this freewill and can be with her family or anybody she wants to and just… doesnt take that? she’d WILLINGLY keep herself from the people she once knew just so she could screw around? now i know nori isnt irresponsible, in the show she very obviously was working hard to make up for her past mistakes and she was disappointed in herself, but what i mean by “screw around” is what shes been doing with pomni. Hanging out XD

i typically draw nori flirting/coming onto pomni often, i see nori as someone who kind of avoids facing reality. she distracts herself with flings and short relationships and DEFINITELY FANTASY (this is uzis mom we are talking about), so i think she definitely does that with pomni. but i also believe theres a genuine attraction as well, its just sort of complicated because pomni doesnt really like her much til idk later on… havent figured out what exactly will make them click but ya

also dont ask me how pomni and nori can be in the same space or how this universe even works, i dont know and i dont care enough to figure it out! by the way, im aware noris coping mechanism might not make much sense taking in how she is in the actual show, but this is all headcanon and just for fun so! who cares? plus we dont know enough about nori to really tell for this sort of stuff anyway

the way sam is the only female coded character in existence and the only proof we actually need is the audience reaction!!! drives me crazy! the one time i like a male character and he gets treated like a female one like not even just by people that dont like him and say hes whiny and a bitch but like he also gets the "female character is too smart to join in the boys fun" treatment in fic by people who supposedly DO like him!! why is he getting the girlboss treatment?

also dean calls him a bitch fully seriously in an argument like not in a "oh your acting like a woman" way that people call men bitches but in the fully serious like calling a woman a bitch way. i cant explain it but there is a difference and sam got women treatment in that scene (theyre arguing about dean killing amy if you cant remember the moment)

its just so unusual to me to see a male character get this treatment. its so weird to see

no you're so real anon. i primarily focused on the treatment he gets from male fans of the show because they literally act like anything but servitude or submissiveness towards dean and his actions is a moral failing, which is just like how sexist men expect women to act toward their fathers/ husbands/ male authorities at all times. and it's crazy! but i've seen the more 'benevolent' or girlbossy types of misogyny against him too; i actually made a post about a related phenomena a while back. when sam gets called a woman some people use that to separate him from the 'regular' male characters and elevate him to this infallible bystander status, which of course makes him harder to relate to, less humanized. which is not to say i haven't seen some less savory interpretations from sam fans too, though the misogyny was intended there i'm assuming, for example ones were gets targeted sexually for being 'feminine' by predatory men or entities like azazel. and that's ignoring the fandom in general being rife with misogyny, this is all focused on a character who, going by the source material, is a cis man. what not having a female main character does to you for real.

and yeah dean, and the show as a whole, absolutely try to feminize sam as another way to degrade or victimize him. comments like you're a red headed woman, the ghost goes after chicks, hell even all the jokes about possessions, or the ones straight up alluding to rape (having a girl inside you, teen pregnancy, made you my bitch), all draw from this idea that sam is very womanly and that's the reason bad things happen to him or why he deserves to be made fun of.

as for the fight, i'm assuming you mean this from 7x07?

i agree the bitch comes off as weird here, dean is playing into the 'woman too irrational to make decisions for herself' stereotype, and tries to convince sam that his choice was the moral one because it comes from a less emotional/ irrational place. and like i said before, dean's decision making is not to be challenged with how the show is framed, which makes misogynistic slurs against sam always feel more targeted.

anyway i agree that it's weird but it's also very fascinating to me. hope this still makes sense because it got a bit long. thank you for the ask.

ghost au

For now im skipping 🔴👁️ hyde and 🟢👁️ jekyll since theres more info on it

Theres also another ghost au by @/bansheeoftheforest ^^ dont remember that much about it from discord except the fact that jekyll is a singular ghost there, since its been a long time. But if anyone's interested you can check it out too, i think theres also a fanfic on it.

Anyway! Heres a VERY old drawing (like, 2021 probably) i had to edit it bc the quality is dogshit.

So yeah its pretty old i dont remember much but here we go In this au, i didnt really made a particular reason for their/his death, either something like accidental poisoning, murder or just soul leaving the body as its in a coma state.

Rachel and Robert notice that Jekyll is missing, and at the same time weird things happenning in Society of Mad Scientists. Like is there was a ghost or perhaps a poltergeist.?

So of course, they go to Maijabi, the only person in Society who specialises on that kind of thing

He investigates, and does notice that there is infact a new ghost in society. He only needs for it/them to cooparate. He does something like a summoning ritual, and gives Rachel and Robert mixture that would let them see this ghost.

(new addition ) Meanwhile ghost Henry dosent want to show up, but Edward does. He wants to come in contact with Rachel . They summon them, and as they see that it's Jekyll, they are in shock, but its only the start, as ghost turns around they notice Hyde. And at this point they are stunned and dont know what to say, is this real? Are they dead? Why? And most importantly, why the hell they are connected into one?

I remember also imagining j&h ghost being kinda zomby like for some reason, like when R, L, and M summon them i imagined them saying something like:

Я ø b ë r t ЯR æ ç h ê l

As they try to reach their shocked friends. (Ooo body horror too 👻)

The first summoning ends, and Rachel and Robert dont know how to process what they have just witnessed.

Maijabi is also stunned, he remarks he has never seen anything like that before

R and L dont understand how that could be explained, Robert is especially in denial. As they calm down a little with a cup of tea, Maijabi tries to explain what he thinks about this, but the main conclusion is that Jekyll and Hyde are dead (duh XD) and thats not some sort of illusion. He knows an actual ghost when he sees one. Lanyon and Rachel cant believe it, their precious friend is dead, for Rachel its even worse because Hyde is also.

On the second summoning Maijabi finally gets to examine this strange case. His conclusion from this time, is that its not two souls tied together, but instead one soul split in two, and yet, not fully.

(new addition) And then its most likely Hyde is the one to tell the truth, Jekyll is so stubborn he wouldn't tell it even when hes dead.

Now that i think about it, i recall they are all goopy and zomby like because their soul is literally falling apart (since its already split).

The ending, as i recall, was something like Jekyll finally accepting himself, and his soul becoming one again, by that they fuse and Jekyll becomes fully himself again, and finding peace. And Lanyon, Rachel and lodgers as they find out of course – mourning.

Thats it with the au , but on topic, of back then and still i believe that before drinking the amongus potion™ back in University, and basically his whole life he was fully himself, except for the fact he had a facade, but after drinking the potion, at first it was still his self, but with time they sapatated more and more. Now rarely able to control each other (red eyed hyde and green eyed jekyll), they can only watch and feel physical sences of the other half while they are in control.

i started titans for nightwing and starfire bc they were my favorite actors. seriously anna diop is so gorgeous i couldn’t get over it and still won’t. in a way, i also started watching for jason because it seemed like a whole new take on his character (bc it was) and i was excited on how they’d do the whole robin/red hood story with the titans. jason’s introduced as the immature and loud teenager which didn’t seem like a good idea for the red hood part of his story but he’s also still robin at this point. at the time i think he was moreso there to introduce nightwing’s development and departure from being robin because batman in this show is just yucky. i don’t remember enough to talk about that tho lawl

then it gets suckier than it started because out of nowhere the whole team starts treating jason like shit. he goes from the goofy one to the young and always angry character and that’s when i just KNEW they were finna fuck him over. first off the team (nightwing, star, raven, yada yada) takes in this girl rose wilson bc slade’s trying to kill her. if you guessed that she’s actually there to help slade kill the titans or whatever then you’d be right, she’s basically like tera from the judas contract if you watched that. and they made her jason’s LOVE INTEREST and at first they were cute but UHJHJGJFJFJ i cant start on that rn

so at this point i’m thinking “ok thst was weird but trust the process right???” long story short nightwing fucks up, team disbands, jason and rose disappear for the whole next season or wtvr, then in a random episode jason and rose are basically confirmed to be dating and i think they live in part of bruce’s mansion or smth??? idk anyway over the course of a few episodes we see their relationship develop and they’re actually kinda cute. like jason fake proposed to her with six bigass sandwiches that he made and it was so adorable and BOOM rose tells him she was originally supposed to sabotage the titans and that’s why the team disbanded so he’s like “ykw fuck you” and then he disappears AGAIN. this was very random so i just assumed it was supposed to add on to why he did what he did later on…

ok now when he comes back we get into red hood. i guess they kinda mashed jason’s original story with the arkham knight story??? i forgot exactly what happened but i think what happened was he got buddy buddy with scarecrow and reverse engineered his fear gas so that it gives you a munch of adrenaline and makes you fearless or wtvr. this was one of my least favorite things about this interpretation of jason because making him rely on drugs to do the things he wants to without fear just. does not make sense to me??? if anything i feel like jason would despise drug addiction and things of the like but that’s neither here nor there! so now he’s pumped full of drugs and he goes to find the joker. then he dies and gets dumped in the lazarus pit in the same episode so him dying has literally no significance. THEN BRUCE KILLS THE JOKER. so now i’m stuck like wtf are they finna do with this narrative??? literally eliminated one of the biggest parts of red hood. atp i’m wondering where tf they’re going with this and the answer is they went NO WHERE WITH IT. jason becomes red hood (and no hate to curran walters but it was lame as fuck) and does a lot of fucked up shit because scarecrow promised him power or whatever so now there’s no depth to what he’s doing and it takes him getting kidnapped and almost killed for the THIRD TIME before he decides he’s not doing the right thing. so he says fuck scarecrow and tries to help the titans stop whatever he was doing and ugh it’s just such sucky writing.

tl;dr only thing that kept me watching was a thirst for jason todd content, brenton thwaites and anna diop. like there are probably hours worth of stuff in that show i skipped bc it had nothing to do with the only three things i cared about. only thing that i was satisfied with was nightwing and starfire being together. there’s more stuff i could add but this was specifically for jason and how let down i was 💔

shes very much a lesbian. just. just like yeah. i think the most prominent character that she flirts with (other than alice) is mally. from what ive seen it only really happens when its el dormouse on stage but before i started seeing that i always saw mally/absolem/thackery as like, a trio. i mean obviously everyone in the band are friends, but idk. i have lots of drawings of those three hanging out so maybe thats just something my delusional brain has completely made up. but anyway the point is i dont ship those two and i sort of see them with a more sibling dynamic. mally always holds her back when shes trying to touch the little castle music box thing, at the end of sets he’ll pull her antennae to take her off stage/she'll pull him by his scarf, etc. (also theres a clip where she kisses him on the cheek and as they begin to walk off stage she turns to the crowd and mouths “no” and does the throat slitting gesture thing which makes me think theyre sorta just playing around :p)

sooo in a post a while back i said i hc her as genderfluid but ive changed my mind?? actually before i made that post i headcanoned her as trans but then switched to genderfluid and now ive uhh changed my mind again. im very indecisive like that and very easily swayed on my opinions haha,,, @ticktockteapot's metaphor for her “becoming the beautiful butterfly she was always meant to be” is very nice i like it lots. also the fact that ladypillar has a much higher stage presence than absolem (obviously not including the spiderwebs number…or crazypillar) was always so sweet to me cuz like,,,aw shes finally more comfortable being herself and performing :’)

but i think i can say i dont think lita WOULD ever pop up in front of splinter. its something that happens when raph gets scared, when he thinks about his dad too much. so with his mom he does feel safe. he might dissociate a lot? but i dont think lita is something his mother would ever see. just realistically to me. aaaand lita fully thinks her mother is dead. thats what she remembers. and her mom being a rat now?? that wouldnt register. that might spook her.

slash on the other hand absolutely has been out around her, it just comes off as raphs angriest moments. so to her shes like "oh hes being really testy right now", maybe gives him a lot of chastising. those are the moments he gets compared to his father most which is SUUUPER unfair. but like slash's reactions to his mom are just very... mmmn, he doesnt care he doesnt wanna hear it he wants to go break stuff. which she lets him do, cuz cooping up that ball of rage wont do anything to make it go away. like slash doesnt trust her, slash is probably WITH leo on the whole 'no you left' shit. its really different to the level of respect raph tries to give his mom. probably partially why she doesnt always think raph appreciates her and gets more frustrated by RAPHS angry moments.

like its the kind of shit where if its obvious to anyone? its not obvious to his mom. not in the least.

and with the twins its not that hes GOOD to them? its more like hes willing to protect them. which might come off as super hostile sometimes. itssss complicated. like slash is ALSO their big brother. i woulddddd say like back when they were with their dad? slash might have acted out in moments to draw attention away from them sometimes, and acting out is starting a fight with leo. if that makes sense.

Omg hahaha i didn't expect this many people to like my lame ass farmer (i love my child 🫶). Tbh i haven’t pieced out everything about em myself and i'm just making doodles/illustrations of em and putting them together, especially in the cryptid department. But i can tell you some of the more basic stuff and maybe some of the cryptid things that I think are not gonna change…?

Anyways here are some of the writting stuff:

TRAITS:

The farmer can speak but just doesn't cause it, well they don't want to. They do occasionally when they feel like it or when it's necessary. Otherwise they just use a notepad or sign language. 

Tends to be quite curious, like borderline dumb curious. Went inside a water cave once because they thought there might be treasures inside of it. Got dragged out by their older cousin.

Silent fucker, doesn't make any sound usually when walking to places unless they are carrying something heavy. 

Got quite strong after moving to the farm, the farmwork and construction helped them build more strength. 

Falls asleep easily in uncomfortable places. Idk why the guy is just weird.

FAMILY:

The farmer has a family back in Zuzu city and some relatives near the valley, like a couple towns away( more lore I guess? There is so much haha). I have actually made a family tree for em but it's mostly sketching and the portraits are quite old so I will need to update it at some point. 

The farmer's family consists of one sister and two moms. The farmer and the sister are not adopted. 

Baby farmers' first words were bark. 

They are only close to one of their mom’s, their sister keeps them at arm's length (no idea why) and their mother is quite strict.

POST-FARM:

The farmer is in their mid 20’s and did not go to university, the guy took one lecture and dropped out. Instead they took some courses and job hopped until they landed in Joja. They worked there for only 3 years. 

Used to volunteer in the animal shelter, quite fond of animals. Sometimes they thought they could understand them.

Very minimalist when it comes to stuff like clothes, food and activity. They keep a certain amount of clothes since they don't find it necessary to have more than what they can use. If they do get new clothes it is usually because the old ones are destroyed. 

Used to live in a tiny apartment (I mean TINY, I will make a sketch of the old apartment if i remember.) somewhat resembled a studio apartment but less picturesque. But they liked it, felt cosy to them. 

Has actually quite a lot of friends even though they never tried to socialise, the guy is often described as “magnetic”. They do have a couple close friends and usually talk to them in their free time. 

Likes pickles as a snack and collects bear related stuff. On their weekends they would go to the animal sanctuary to look at bears and eat cucumbers.

RELATIONSHIPS:

HA, this bitch cant pull. They do attract but they can't pull, horrible at socialising, just awful. 

As said before even though they absolutely suck ASS at socializing, something about them is magnetic to people. But those people are usually kept at an arm 's distance, since the farmer knows that they don't seem to really have an interest in em.

Has had a couple relationships before, mostly stiff and boring ones since they never desired anyone to THAT extent. But if they do fall they fall hard. 

Their closest relationship right now in the valley is Linus, The wizard and Evelyn. They are trying really hard to befriend others but don't know how to properly approach it besides just giving them gifts and doing tasks for them. 

Does in fact have a thing for Shane. Poor guy is going through it. 

CRYPTID RELATED:

The farmer does have avian genes from the non grandpa side of the family.

The grandpa had “relations” with a forest guardian. By relations i mean that Gramps and the forest guardian become friends after Gramps comes across the secret woods and FG was like “hey i think you are cool and a good candidate as a future holder of the valley” and gramps was like “nice” and then he gave them some hair, skin and sweat. FG mixes it and after a year the farmer's mom and other siblings are born. 

They are kind of a “fae” I guess but i don't know if they qualify as they do have some of the traits but not all?

 When the green rain happens it  causes them to forcefully transmute into their more avian form. They have no control over it, since it's a new thing to them. Their wings are usually as big if not bigger than them and they get a tail. The change is mostly painless as for the most part its natural materials around them that helps them shape it. Besides the fur and feathers that shit is coming out of them.

The aftermath of the transmutation it's usually a lot of shedding and getting their instincts in check since when it happens their senses get heightened.  

Shane has seen them in the midst of a tranz when walking back from the mines, it was one of the first times the farmer started noticing the weird stuff going on with them.

Oh yeah, they do have fangs or something similar to it, they occasionally puncture their tongue so they are unable to speak for a certain amount of time.

Checking that ilayda-girl out really bumped me. it made me feel very very worthless, old, like chances are over. thinking about the austrians, too, them they made it, now working in japan.

10 Anti LO Asks

1. I feel like we should note from mythology DEMETER was actually a law goddess, Persephone never was. If anyone would be a perfect lawyer for Persephone it would be her (and no you cant use the "thats not how court works!!" since none of this follows actual court systems anyway) but no only Hades can defend Persephone but also now Persephone should be a lawyer too even though she does nothing but threaten/harm witnesses and cover up her crimes. Wasnt she studying biology?What happened to that?

2. whats weird to me is so many LO fans seem convinced if they were in that universe theyd be a goddess and get to enjoy all the wealth and parties HxP and co does when it's like no? They would at best be a poor denizen of the Underworld or Olympus and at worst a normal human like they already are who becomes Hades' slave upon death. It has the same energy of millennials who still think their Hogwarts letter is lost in the mail instead of accepting they're not the main character.

3. Even ignoring RS' hypocritical writing of "bad for thee, good for me", what exactly is happening with Persephone's body in that picture? Where is her lower half when that dress is so ridiculously short? does she have no middle section? Also kinda funny it seems RS is very aware none of the past two+ years of LO is memorable enough to draw anything from so even she's still clinging to the first three episodes. Like seriously? Persephone only owns that paper napkin dress and jacket and that's it?

4. IF RS really is that upset over lost income (which I doubt considering all her merch and book deals) then maybe she could use her huge pull at WT and with the other creators to actually team up and unionize, but that would actually force her to pay her staff correctly so I don't think she'd do it. Would love to be proved wrong on that though.

5. cheating is also condemned in LO but praised when Hades, Hera, and Persephone do it. capitalism is critiqued unless Hades benefits from it. Abuse of power is condemned in Zeus but praised in Hades, Persephone, and Hera, and the list goes on. Rachel does not nor ever will give a shit about a consistent morality in her story. Why do you think her actual defense in P's trail was condemning Artemis and Apollo for a lesser approved AOW but P's mass slaughter is just a little mistake?

6. if rachel was just honest she was making a materialistic fantasy with at best a very loose connections to a certain greek myth it would be more excusable, but instead she claims shes so researched on the myths over actual greeks and is actually telling a progressive feminist work which is what shes called out on. if she was honest from the start we would have accepted it, but instead she just lies to pretend her work is something it isn't. It's a self imposed target on her back for critcism.

7. do you not get it? thats classic privileged hypocrisy where theyll condemn those economically below they as "greedy/materialistic/etc etc" but its praised in them because they "deserve it". you guys have to remember rachel was an already well off, privileged white woman when she started LO and has only gotten more privileged from it. if you really think her worldview hasnt gotten more warped with an even bigger distain for those she doesnt relate to then youre not paying attention.

8. Yeah I’m just done with RS’s BS excuses and interviews at this point. She can claim all she wants she’s trying to tell a feminist, progressive story and is calling out misogyny and capitalism but she’s not, she’s praising them if they benefit her self inserts while the rest can suffer. It’s a story not about how systemic divisions and corruption from power are an issue from ancient times to now or avoid how struggles for women are timeless, it’s about how the rich and powerful are the real underdogs while the uppity poor should be thankful they give them eternal unpaid labor jobs (slavery) and they only sometimes forget to not torture them for any tiny slight they may have that day, among many other horrible issues that’s even worse than modern day. And no, I’m not saying RS can’t write a story about a bunch of rich assholes, that’s fine, but it’s the fact she keeps lying and insisting she’s actually not writing that and is insist writing some deep work that’s actually about empowerment and progressive is what’s the problem. She’s claiming it’s something it’s not and is anything is making a story that’s exactly everything she claims it’s not. Why should I support a series where the creator keeps lying to your face about her intentions and tries to gaslight you that your feelings and discomfort with her contradictory writing and bad politics are actually not a problem of her false marketing and regressive view of the world, but YOUR problem for not fawning over everything she makes? Ugh.

10. Thanks Rachel for randomly adding Hera into your fanfic drama. The damn goddess of marriage can now cheat, in which the actual reasoning to why she doesn’t is purposely overlooked. I’m beginning to think Hera’s involved to spice up Hades and Persephone’s relationship, compare her and Persephone’s beauty, or be a major wall for Persephone’s ongoing “development” with Hades. None of them sound good, because Hera’s purpose solely relies on a relationship and two characters.

Hera is sadly washed down and deliberately compared because of Persephone. When Leto mentioned that Hera and Hades used to have an ongoing affair, I’m so glad Persephone broke down because it shows how she understands the difference in power Hera has compared to her 😆 /j But, I wish we got to see her power and beauty dramatically compared to Persephone, because there’s a huge difference. Hera’s considered to be one of the most attractive goddess’- she was even said to be prettier than Aphrodite herself. She, as the queen of the gods, has complete control over the deities and universe. And, she was the only deity as revered as Zeus.

I don’t think Persephone can fully compete with that, considering Hera’s beauty, power, and status.
