i need to talk about the utena game more . i don't at all consider it canon because that really just doesn't work, but between all the weird self insert fanfiction tropes there are some really interesting character moments and commentary about ohtori. like the fact that the protagonist's parents met when the mom was a student there and the dad was a teacher is so. ough.

#if i remember correctly they got like. expelled for their relationship? which is weird because since when did ohtori give a shit #but still very interesting to consider the way that these power structures don't exclusively come from or are expressed through akio #the entire system is rotten with or without him #m #anyway at some point i'll rewatch a playthrough and try to take it seriously enough for some analysis.
