There’s a lot of discourse in fandom about Sansa, Arya, and Cersei’s attitudes toward power and traditional femininity. I’m super curious to see what you think about Sansa and Cersei in particular, especially since we didn’t get a Cersei POV in Gale of Wolves. What does Cersei think of Sansa establishing power in her own right in the North? Does she still crave power for herself? I always thought that Cersei sees her sexuality as a tool or weapon but otherwise is pretty disdainful of women in general. She’s got internalized misogyny in spades.
In Sansa’s case— do you think she still dwells on what she learned from Cersei (either what she was told directly or lessons made indirectly)? I’m thinking about the battle of the black water in the books where Sansa thinks : when I am queen, I will make them love me; in a pretty stark (pun unintended) contrast to Cersei’s rule by fear. I see Sansa choosing to utilize her traditional femininity by wielding soft power that in turn becomes hard power. In your fic, she goes to each of her bannermen, she learns about them, she shows that she cares and probably uses a lot of court/ lady of the house skills she learned. Stannis doesn’t understand it at all, but Sansa has a stronger position in the North than he does anyway.
These are such great questions — I can say that the lack of Cersei POV in A Gale of Wolves was very deliberate, because she gets her own POV chapter in the next section of the story and I wanted her to be a little more opaque at this point. Because you're right, Cersei's going to have a LOT of feelings about Sansa getting control of the North while she's still just the Dowager Queen (even though in this story she's decidedly not going to the Sept's dungeons or enduring the Walk of Shame Atonement). Right now she's so convinced that Sansa murdered Joffrey that everything else kind of simmers under that, but I do think there's a certain degree of envy that Sansa can claim the North for herself and be unchallenged in that, when even her own daughter Myrcella will have some difficulties in laying claim to Casterly Rock (which will get resolved in the next section, but it's still not straightforward because Westeros And Essos Hate Women). There's also a lot of confusion there, because Cersei doesn't have a home the way Sansa does; she grew up in the Westerlands and lived most of her adult life in King's Landing, but what she craves is power and safety, not necessarily a home. So Sansa's motivations themselves are baffling — why fight for the North, a useless great vast nothing? Who could possibly love that place?
The note you make about Cersei using her sexuality is interesting, because I think that's prevalent in the books (I'm not sure since I haven't read them), but really not at all present in the show; in fact I think you can argue that Cersei's whole canonical path in the show is a slow stripping away of her "female-ness," which she hates so much — all that talk about how she should've been the man, how no one could tell her and Jaime apart when they were little, how her appearance and dress grows progressively more masculine. Which I always thought was interesting if you see it as a reaction to trauma: so much of what is done to her is because she's a woman, because she doesn't have power in her own right, and so she reaches for whatever simulacrum she can get. It doesn't work in the end, of course; it never does. But it's a nice dream.
I do agree that Cersei's a misogynist, but...so is everyone in this world, really. Even Dany, even Arya, even Sansa — the world of Westeros is predicated on the inferiority of women, and women themselves have to swim in that water even if they're swimming against the current.
As for Sansa, I think there's a LOT of fascination/repulsion when it comes to Cersei. One of the biggest mistakes the show ever made was never letting Arya or Sansa see Cersei one last time; sure, it's realistic that you don't get closure with your nemesis/abuser, but narratively it would've been so much more satisfying than crushing her with big rocks. Because Sansa's right, in the show where she says she learned a lot from Cersei; in many ways, Cersei was far more her mentor than Littlefinger ever was.
But you're right on the money in re: how Sansa rules, which is not the way a king would rule or the way the wife of a lord would rule, or the way any of the women in power she's met have ruled. It's not feminine so much as Sansa-esque; she is feminine, for sure, but I think a lot of what she does (both in my fic and on the show) is less about gender and more about thoughtfulness. I always think about the comment she makes to Royce about lining the new plate armor with leather when the southern soldiers wouldn't have thought about it, or how she makes Jon the exact replica of their father's cloak just from memory. Sansa is very, VERY good at noticing details and remembering them for later, however irrelevant. Having someone like that in charge of your kingdom is pretty handy.
I think one of the interesting things I'm going to do with the fic is explore some of the lessons that Cersei learns from Sansa — because she'll have time in this fic to see Sansa's method of rule working, and perhaps get enough intel to find out why it does, at least in part. And I don't think Cersei is foolish enough to pass that kind of opportunity up.
#I've been reading the wiki entries for the Dance of Dragons characters and Sansa and Cregan would've gotten along worryingly well#just sitting down and getting the job DONE and then going home#it's pretty great honestly#anyway Sansa wanted to be loved when she was a child but now? I think she's resigned to whatever weird mix of fear resentment and awe#that the Northern lords and smallfolk have for her#they DO love her but it's love that's uncomfortable up close#even for Sansa#anyway this ask got longer than my dick sorry#game of thrones motherfuckers#got: bitches get stuff done

Elucien Parallels: Eddard and Catelyn Stark's Arranged Marriage/Marriage of Convenience Trope
I'm back again with more ACOTAR and ASOIAF/GOT parallels. You can go read this post where I breakdown my thoughts on comparing Elain Archeron and Sansa Stark as representing similar character archetypes in fantasy.
Today I want to talk about one of my favorite ASOIAF/GOT ships - Ned and Cat. What I want to do with this post is sort of breakdown the dynamics of their relationship and story arc and apply it to some common criticisms of Elucien and why in order to get the kind of tension Elucien have in canon, you need to have an understanding of how this particular trope works and the way these types of characters inhabit it.
So, a quick rundown on Ned and Cat and their relationship, just to get anyone reading this up to speed. Catelyn Tully was betrothed to Brandon Stark, Ned's older brother. Their betrothal represented a political alliance between the Starks of Winterfell and the Tullys of Riverrun - the liege lords of their respective regions. Despite being betrothed for political reasons, Catelyn fell deeply in love with Brandon anyways. And when he was tragically murdered by the Mad King, alongside his father, she was heart broken. Enters Ned, now the Lord of Winterfell, who has to secure this political alliance because he is about to wage a rebellion alongside his friend Robert Baratheon against the Targaryens. It makes perfect sense for him to marry his brother's betrothed. Ned and Cat get married quickly and off to war he went. When he returned a year later, he brought home his bastard, Jon Snow. He and Cat now have to figure out their marriage on top of not only being effectively strangers, but also with this betrayal looming over their relationship. When we enter the story of Game of Thrones, they have 5 children, the oldest Robb who was conceived just before Ned left for war, is 16. Cat and Ned are very much in love, showing open affection and devotion to each other. Cat is quoted later in the series telling her son Robb (show canon):
"Love didn't just happen to us. We built it slowly over the years, stone by stone, for you, for your brothers and sisters, for all of us. It's not as exciting as secret passion in the woods, but it is stronger."
Okay, so where does Elucien come into all of this and why should you care if you ship them?
Well, I think Cat and Ned's story illustrates a lot of things and disproves many doubts that are thrown at Elucien being endgame.
Betrayal
First is this issue of betrayal - that Lucien's involvement with Tamlin and his inevitable association with the situation in Hybern (though he did not know the extent of the deal with Hybern nor at all that Feyre's sisters had been kidnapped) will be such a huge breach of trust that Elain will never be able to get over it. That the relationship is dead before it even started.
Ned and Cat are a perfect example of how many anti-Eluciens are wrong when they think that Elucien are essentially dead before they start. By bringing home Jon Snow and raising him in his home amongst his trueborn children, Ned inflicted a huge betrayal onto his wife before they ever truly started their relationship. Although, at least in show canon, we know this ends up being quite a noble lie by Ned, this is never something that he reveals to Cat. So, Cat must swallow her pride and her jealousy and continue to be Ned's wife. This does not mean she has to fall in love with him, as it is not expected of her to, but she does all the same. Why? Because of Ned's inherent goodness and devotion to her. Cat sees that Ned is a good, honorable man - which is why she ultimately believes the rumors that Jon must be Ashara Dayne's son and that he is a love-child that Ned cannot bear to abandon. Because as she comes to know Ned, she sees his heart and his moral standing.
Which is all to say, that regardless of whether Elain begins her journey angry and blaming Lucien for association with her being Made and the end of her engagement, by getting to know him and spending time with him, she too will be able to see Lucien's inherent goodness. It is unavoidable and undeniable. Lucien, much like Ned, is honorable, loyal, and stands up to the face of evil, even if it will stupidly get him killed. He takes ownership over the people in the lands he runs and cares for that responsibility and their well being deeply. He commits violence when he must but he does not enjoy it. These are all traits that suited Cat well and why she ended up having such a loving marriage to Ned through many, many years. And likewise, suit Elain well and why she and Lucien will have a healthy and loving mating bond.
Reluctant Tension
Many anti-Eluciens do not understand the romantic tension presented in their situation. They see their distance, polite exchanges, and reactions as a sign of indifference or discomfort. It is a far cry from the explosive anger and deliberate pushing away that Nesta displayed with Cassian. Sometimes it's easier to understand Nessian's romantic tension because passion can exist both in anger and desire. But what about the stilted interactions of Elucien?
This is also where I will draw parallels to Ned and Cat. Ned and Cat did not go to the alter kicking and screaming. They were not political rivals or enemies. Catelyn did her duty with her head held high, living her house words (Family, Duty, Honor). Catelyn is often described as the picture of a noble lady - well-mannered, kind, diligent, dutiful, and respected. She held a high place of honor at Riverrun, effectively serving as Lady of the house after her mother's passing at a young age, and then taking over the role of Lady of Winterfell. She earned loyalty and respect amongst her subjects. We don't know much about the dynamic of Ned and Cat at the early days of their relationship. But what we can infer based on how Cat describes this time period, is that Cat hid her reluctance and anger behind silent pride. It was over time, as she grew to know Ned that this distrust and distance was thawed and she fell in love with him.
Similarly, Ned is not a hot head. He is grounded and stone-faced, a trait that Cat actually did not like initially because it was so different from his brother who she was in passionate love with. Brandon was a hot-head, charming, and funny. He was a showboat and is basically how he came to duel Petyr Baelish in the first place. But Catelyn eventually realizes the wisdom in loving a man like Ned, rather than the girlish love she had for Brandon.
Now Elain and Lucien are not mirror images of this. Lucien is certainly much more savvy and charming than Ned. And Elain is not forced into a romantic relationship with Lucien at all even with the mating bond. She has been given total freedom to choose, unlike Cat. But, my point here is that the presentation of their romantic tension, which is more quiet and understated and can confuse some readers who have a preference for the more passionate displays of tension, is very similar to Ned and Cat in the beginning of their relationship.
Now, as we learn both in the books and the show, Cat and Ned at the start of the series are well into their 16+ year marriage and are quite passionate now. They have many loving physical displays with one another, often passionately kissing or referencing passionate lovemaking they just had. They speak to each other with such warm affection others have to look away. It is clear they have deep love for each other that goes beyond duty. The passion certainly developed between them along the way. With Elucien I'm sure this will play out much differently given the presentation of the mating bond and how we know it affects people. It's very likely both of them are deeply desiring each other already, and very likely that they will have some dramatic rows between them, as it is likely Ned and Cat had as well, once they start really talking about the hard topics. But the point is that passion and the potential for passion does not have to be readily observable right from the start. If anything, there is something very delicious in the steady build-up to it through many of the tropes we see in historical romances where there are rules and etiquette to courtship (which many suspect Elucien will play with some regency era tropes).
Conclusion:
I really love finding parallels between ships of my favorite series, and there is of course a lot to draw from when its two fantasy series. In the end, my bigger point is that great love can come from Arranged Marriage/Marriage of Convenience Tropes which Elucien inhabit with the nature of their bond snapping right when they met. It's not for everyone, but for those of us who get it... we really get it. Fortunately for us, Elucien exist in a romance with HEAs and not the world of ASOIAF/GOT so they won't meet the same tragic fates as Ned and Cat *sobs*.

i need to hear all your thoughts on Theon and Theonsa. Please i need the deepest of dives. I’m also obsessed
Hello dear, thanks for the message!! I’m sorry it took me so long to respond, this week was pretty rough at work. I am of course ALWAYS happy to talk about Theonsa.
Delusional, incoherent rambling vibes incoming. You have been warned.
I feel like I have talk ad nauseam about this relationship and all the things I love about it, and if I haven’t mentioned it, I’ve written about it lmao
First of all, I was introduced to this ship by my lesbian best friend. Straight up literally one of the only het ships I can think of that she likes. Theonsa is for the girls and the gays, confirmed. I myself was so shook bcuz they were my favorite characters from the very little of the show that I had watched at that point, so to hear there was ship potential?? I was hooked instantly
Idk about yall but I have the clip of Theon returning to Winterfell and him and Sansa hugging while he’s basically ignoring dany there the whole time saved on my phone and I watch it SO much. Would offer my firstborn child to know what exactly Alfie Allen (and Sophie, but mostly Alfie) was thinking while that was being filmed because that’s the scene that convinced me they were IN LOVE especially that Theon loved her. It’s just the way his eyes flicker to Sansa even when he’s supposed to be addressing his “Queen”.
Honestly I’m a lot more forgiving toward season 8 than most of my friends but the one thing that pisses me off is that everyone leaves sansa alone at the end!! Wtf!!! Anyway if Theon had survived you can’t tell me he wouldn’t have stayed with her. He would have 100% dedicated the rest of his life to being at her side, whether anything came of their love or not. And god one day I need to write a scene of theon and Sansa reuniting immediately after the night king is killed!! Theon exiting the Godswood with Arya and bran and Sansa running over to all three of them!! Ugh my heart. Also, I feel like Dany would be so grief stricken over Jorah and to see Sansa happily reunited with Theon would make her absolutely furious which sounds very interesting to me
Umm what else. I think Theon should’ve gotten to kill his uncle. Why’d that kill go to Jaime? I had this fic idea a while ago where Baelish doesn’t bring the knights of the vale so Jon loses the battle of the bastards and Sansa ends up back with Ramsay but Theon’s already convinced Yara to go north to help (I know Yara would never do it but LET ME HAVE THIS) and then Euron hears his niece and nephew are going north so he decides to go north too. So basically three of the worst men converge at Winterfell to face off basically fighting over Sansa but surprise Theon and Yara break Jon out of prison to rescue her. And yeah Euron’s just like oh I want the Stark girl now because I know my nephew wants her. Then Theon can get to kill Euron or Ramsay or Baelish. Lmao. Most of my fics start as incoherent vibes like that
Uhhh if there’s any else you wanna know about specifically feel free to ask again! That’s about all I can think of right now thanks 🥰

Ok so to warm my heart a little from the coldness of knowing I will have to wait 2 years to see dear Rhaenyra again I have started watching Game of Thrones,I was not very fond of it when it came out however now I am older and just desiring to binge watch anything to get myself to sleep and I have a few thoughts I need to get out of my head or maybe opinions,it might me a little over the top since of course I am a lesbian drama queen and I live to complain,im only in season 3 almost ending the season...
I fucking hate that kid bran,he takes soooo much screen time just to retell dreams and look like that snarky kid that throws random stuff on the ground in Walmart with a stupid look on his face (I really Wish Jamie would have killed his ass)
Melissandre is the most interesting character of the series,so witty and cruel in the best way,I was shocked when she killed that king with her baby demon and absolutely smitten,I love cruel women.
Jon Snow is the most boring character I have EVER witnessed in the story of television and trust me I've been there since Xena Warrior Princess graced the screens, just no goals,no path,no big dick or small dick energy,no energy AT ALL,just a big fat ugly Hero complex that I just can't stand because the actor has the same expression everytime no matter what happens, even having a boner with a cute girl cuddling his dick he is 😐 like gtfo of my face
Cersei is second to Melissandre in the scale of bad bitches, she is just so fucking resented and hot, everything she says sounds like wind chimes even if she is sending a child to his death,I cant help but want her to hate fuck me and call me a fagg0t and then tell me Im the worst fuck she's ever had and just use me again.
Dragons...Should I say more? I started the series of House of the Dragon because I just love dragons, and a particular scene is just edged in my mind like iron,Daenerys saving her little dragons from that sorcerers dungeon and their cute little faces watching her almost like trying to say "Momma! You're here! we missed you!" I think is the cutest scene ever.
Daenerys...She serving cunt, she ate and licked the plate, she served and left no crumbs, the director said cut and she heard CUNT and went with it, she caused a motherquake of 9.99 in the cunt scale, she's mother, and no other than the Mother of Dragons, I just love her,she is what Cleopatra VII was before hollywood found her and turned her into a makeup propaganda fashionista, a true strategist and conqueror.
Kal Drogo,I just mourned his death,he was so cute and murderous, i wept real tears for sweet Daenerys, I think the actor was really good and he needed more screen time, his scenes were charged with masculity and power, something we really lack these days in television.
Sansa, she is a beauty, the kind of beauty fantasy writers try to describe and there is just no way that human exists and then there is her...But she is so fucking traumatized and set aside just like every other woman in that universe, hell, even in life,I feel for her...And also wanna date her,i won't lie
Aria is a tough little woman,I think they really need to step up her action scenes because I think she serves well as a hope in the darkness kind of character however I do wish the actress was more prone to make a proper action sequence ala Eleven from Stranger Things, you can say what you want about miss Millie Bobby Brown but she is one of the few actresses willing to make many changes ln television for years to come with her characters.
Jamie Lannister is an interesting fighter and I wish it was possible to swap his fight scenes with Aria since i think it was proper giving the context, anyway he has good fighting sequences that I think were ment for someone else.
The sex scenes... This was a series HBO really set the bar high for nudity, there is so much nudity, sometimes unnecessary and cruel for the actresses involved and at the same time, is not surprising considering this series was made by two straight men, this always happens in the industry although these days is harder due to the constant intimacy coordination, but yeah in those times I can't imagine how unerving it was for actresses to bare it all for a couple of coins in a popular series.
Enough with my ramblings,I declare myself a fan of game of thrones only for Daenerys and her cute little dragons 💖

A Clash of Kings First Read - Chapter 32
(POV: Sansa III.)
Setting: The Red Keep (Joffrey Baratheon et al).
Favorite character: It's a tie between Tyrion and Sansa. Sansa just for being able to survive such horrible circumstances, and Tyrion for helping her.
MVP: Tyrion for the characters present in this chapter (he gets away with insulting the king and is now one of Sansa's protectors... I think?), Robb for the offpage characters (for winning the battle at Oxcross).
Things I loved/liked:
Tyrion being kind to Sansa. And more importantly, him meaning to break off the betrothal between Sansa and Joffrey. Thank God for that. Now I don't think he'll ever be able to send Sansa home because there's no way Robb will bend the knee after such victories, but I really hope she won't come to further harm if she now has Tyrion's protection.
There's a lot of bravery in Sansa, in my opinion. I mean, she has a loaded crossbow pointed at her face and she's apparently paralyzed with horror, and yet when Joffrey accuses Lady of savaging him, she finds the strength to say, "Lady never hurt you, but you killed her anyway." She's accusing someone who is clearly sadistic and who's holding a loaded crossbow pointed at her face of killing her direwolf. That's brave (also kinda stupid, but still brave).
Tyrion saving Sansa more pain and humiliation, if just for now. And doing so quite sharply as well. I mean, "And you have the wits of a goose..." Lol. I'm just also very glad that Tyrion can apparently get away with insulting Joffrey, because that sadistic little monster definitely deserves to be put in his place. And that Bronn can put the "knights" of the Kingsguard (definitely no true knights, in Sansa's own words) in their place as well: "You don't want to get blood all over those pretty white cloaks."
Sansa having such faith in her brother (and also the prayer for Winterfell). I pray for Robb's victory and Joffrey's death... and for home. For Winterfell, and: Robb will beat him, Sansa thought. He beat your uncle and your brother Jaime, he'll beat your father too.
It's not a happy thing by a long shot, but Sansa is growing more and more perceptive, even in political matters: Gods be good, don't let it be the Kingslayer. If Robb had harmed Jaime Lannister, it would mean her life. But after continuing the chapter and learning what it was that Robb had done, I couldn't help but be glad the Starks held another victory. Even if it obviously meant terrible things for Sansa. In the same vein, Sansa being able to lie well enough to survive. Tyrion says it himself, "Well, someone has taught to lie well. You may be grateful for that one day, child."
Ser Dontos "helping" Sansa (but see more on that in the things I didn't like so much).
The Hound saying "Enough" when they're beating Sansa up, and giving her advice at the start of the chapter. He doesn't save her in the way Tyrion does, but it's rather obvious to me he doesn't want to see Sansa hurt.
Things I disliked/hated:
The fact that Ser Dontos's only way to "help" Sansa was still to beat her. What kind of terrible circumstances are those?
The moment I read "Not you. Your kingly brother," I knew this would not be a happy chapter.
Joffrey Baratheon/Lannister. A sadistic monster. First, he takes joy in killing some cats in front of his whole court (and as a cat lover, this hurt), then he takes joy in killing starving men and women, and then he threatens to kill Sansa for Robb's actions, terrorizing her. And then he orders others to do his beating for him, as always. But God, this time around... I'm not gonna go into details. I'm just gonna say that it felt like I felt everything Sansa did, and I wish never to feel like that again.
Quotes:
"Aerys Targaryen did as he liked. Has your mother ever told you what happened to him?" Ser Boros Blount harrumphed. "No man threatens His Grace in the presence of the Kingsguard." Tyrion Lannister raised an eyebrow. "I am not threatening the king, ser, I am educating my nephew. Bronn, Timett, the next time Ser Boros opens his mouth, kill him." The dwarf smiled. "Now that was a threat, ser. See the difference?"
That exchange is pure gold.
Also, and in a much darker quote, Sansa's thoughts about knighthood, because it kinda seems, to me anyway, like the end of her belief in knights: Knights are sworn to defend the weak, protect women, and fight for the right, but none of them did a thing. Only Ser Dontos had tried to help, and he was no longer a knight, no more than the Imp was, nor the Hound... the Hound hated knights... I hate them too, Sansa thought. They are no true knights, not one of them.
Thoughts overall: Horrible to read, but a bit hopeful as well?

Prompt for story: Before the Long Night, Sansa and Gilly talk about supplies (and the lack of it) while Little Sam plays in the background. Gilly notices Sansa's quiet sadness while she was gazing at Little Sam, they talk about Little Sam and Sansa's dream for children (and how it could never be for her). Gilly picks Sam up and asks Sansa if she wants to hold him.
Sam and Jon come back to the solar and sees how happy Sansa is while holding Little Sam on her arms. Jon moves toward her and unconsciously holds her waist while caressing Little Sam's ankles. Gilly and Sam look at them in understanding.
Make me cry with this prompt, thank you!!!
oh i LOVED this prompt.
sorry i did change it just a tiny bit. once i started writing it just kind of came naturally, so i didnt realize id messed up what you really asked. i hope you enjoy it anyways!!!

When the knocks sounds on her door, she looks up from behind her desk, calling for them to enter as she sets aside the scroll she’s been reading. To her surprise, it is not Lord Royce nor any other Northern lord come to call, but rather it is the woman she knows to be called Gilly. In her arms she carries her young son, Sam was his name, apologetically smiling when the boy lets out a cheerful cry at the sight of the new face. “My lady,” she greets, setting her son at her feet as she comes to stand before the desk. “Lord Royce sent me to deliver a message to you.”
Truth was, Gilly has been trying to find any way to be helpful during this time- she cannot do much of anything beyond cooking or mending, but she was determined to help in any way she could. Even if that left her to be a messenger. “And the message?” Sansa asks, pushing back from her desk so she might stand upright. Blue eyes cannot help but to flicker to the baby on the floor, now on his hands and knees, perhaps thinking he might crawl further into the room he’s never been in before.
“He says there’s just enough grain to last another few weeks, with the new arrivals.” Gilly repeats the words the old man had spoken to her just a few minutes before. She watches as something like darkness crosses over the Stark woman’s face, her beauty icy cold as she comes to stand on the other side of the desk, closer to her. “He also said for you not to worry,” she continues and Sansa lets out a soft laugh, shaking her head as she shifts her gaze from Gilly back to the baby who has now crawled halfway across the room. She also notices there is almost something like sadness there in those blue eyes, perhaps even regret. “I’m sorry, my lady, let me…” But Sansa is shaking her head, surprising Gilly when she crosses the room to reach down and lift the baby into her arms, cooing at him as only a mother might do. Gilly is even more surprised to see her son’s reaction- almost at once the baby is babbling, smiling, giggling back at the icy cold Lady of Winterfell. But, now that Gilly watches, she can see that cold exterior melting away.
“Lord Royce means well, but I cannot help but to worry,” Sansa murmurs aloud as she turns back to face Gilly, who glances down at the floor, not used to being looked at so directly by someone so far above her station. “My people are the ones who will suffer from this,” she’s thinking of the commonfolk, the ones not even yet come to Winterfell, the ones who would likely be dead when all of this was over. Chills race the length of her spine and for a long moment she closes her eyes. When she opens them again, she finds the child’s mother to be looking back at her, soft brown eyes uncertain in their gaze. “Your son is quite sweet,” she says, steering the conversation elsewhere, one hand reaching up so she might touch the downy soft hair upon his little head.
“He is taken with you, my lady,” Gilly speaks truthfully, for the child was still yet staring up at her with a gummy grin. “You look as if you are meant to do this,” for a moment, there comes that quiet sadness once more, darkening her blue eyes as she smiles down at the baby, one little hand wrapped tightly around her finger. “I’m sorry, my lady, I only meant…”
“No, it’s alright,” Sansa replies with a smile for the mother instead. “I did once long to be a mother,” she admits, speaking freely in front of this woman as she’s never spoken to anyone before. “I loved having little brothers and a sister to look after,” she will never forget the warm weight of Rickon in her arms when he was but a baby no bigger than little Sam. And to think he now rotted in the ground in the crypts. “He is a sweet boy, you are lucky to have him.” She smiles for Gilly this time, a smile which brightens those blue eyes that stare back at her.
For a few minutes they make small talk, but Sansa cannot bring herself to give the baby up. His weight is warm and soft in her arms, reminding her of days long gone, reminding her of a life she probably would never get back. It is a soft pain, a dull ache, something she knows she will live with until the end of her days.
When the door opens quite unceremoniously, Gilly turns with surprise, eyes wide at the thought of someone barging in like this upon the Lady of Winterfell. But then she sees who it is, it is Jon Snow with her own Sam close at his heels, looking uncomfortable about entering a room without so much as a knock.
Jon can’t take his eyes off of the sight of her there, baby in her arms. It is a fitting look, one which even he can recall from their childhood days, when Rickon had been more like her baby than her mother’s. And then he’d grown up just enough that he would cling to her skirts in the courtyard as Robb and he wrestled in the mud. He feels the familiar sense of longing, the pang of anguish that those days were long gone, never to come back again. “He likes you,” Jon observes as he falls into place beside her, his arm reaching around her waist all so he might feel the warmth of her against him. “Little Sam, are you going to be her new friend?” He asks the baby as he caresses the baby’s soft skin, exposed where his gown was riding up around his ankles. The baby smiles and giggles in response, rocking excitedly in Sansa’s arms.
From where she watches, Gilly can’t help but to visualize them as a happy family, a baby with Stark features wrapped in the lady’s arms. “Bring him again to visit me, won’t you?” Sansa asks as she reluctantly passes the baby back to his mother. Gilly happily nods, shifting the baby carefully as she turns to go, Sam at her side. “Bye bye, little Sam,” she calls out when they reach the door, just before the door swings closed.
And when Gilly turns back to look, she swears she sees Sansa falling into Jon’s arms.

... or let Benjen stay in WF and not go to Castle Black. Sharing a bed and the love of their women is Ned and Ben's way to cope with the trauma of losing half their family and they stay together...
Ned is still in charge btw!
He is very much in charge, currently also inside Catelyn's ass. She is straddling Benjen and riding his cock with her pussy, while Ned is taking her from behind. The sounds she's making... he feels every one of her moans with his entire body. His wife is being double-fucked like a slut and she knows it and she loves it and Ned knows it and it does things to him.
Suddenly Catelyn's moans are muffled by the mouth of another. His wife's Maid who is currently also riding Benjen's face, is making out with Catelyn, giving Ned perhaps the most erotic view of his life. Their kisses are sloppy and brrathless, and Ned thinks they're both glorious.
"You're slacking off, brother," Ned grunts. "Push that tongue in deeper. I can see that she wants it."
"Mhhnnn!" Benjen says into the Maid's pussy, but immediately complies. Ned thinks maybe he's beeing too demanding of his little brother... but no, Ben should count himself happy, and he knows it.
"Catelyn, my sweetest, play with her breasts. Show me," he murmurs into Catelyn's shoulder. He knows it's hard to comply for her, when she's lost in her pleasure like that, but Ned is nothing if not fair - she is receiving so much love right now, she must also give some of it back.
Catelyn massages the full breasts of the other lass. Both women are pregnant and showing and their teats are growimg full and looking delicious. Nobody has any idea who is the father of which child but Ned finds he doesn't care. At first they were trying to keep in under control, but Ned so enjoyed the sight of Catelyn on Ben's cock, and one thing led to another... They're going to raise all the children together anyway.
Life is so, so good. Ned never thought life could be so good.
In the spring two beautiful girls, the red haired Sansa and darker-coloured Jenny, are born and join the rapidly growing Winterfell nursery. Are the people talking behind Ned's back? Sure they are. They think he can't hear it but he can, and it's mostly along the lines of: just how did the darn wolf pull that off?!, and also I can't believe the luck of that bastard!, or sometimes I wish it were me and my dick in there...
ALL OF THAT So damn hot !!
Sweet maid falling apart on top of Benjen as she melts against Cat.
Ned so enjoys the orders he can give out!!

What do you think petyr felt about sansa ? To me I feel like he felt mixed feelings for her but overall did love her very much he didn’t want to let her go
Okay, I'm assuming all these asks are the same person since they came in close together and are all pertaining to the same subject...
So, I hope you don't mind if I address them all in the same answer, that way I don't flood people's desktops with text posts about the same thing.
I also apologize it took me a while to answer. I was in the middle of writing a response the other day and someone I live with wanted me to do something and when I opened the app again what I had written was gone. Pissed me right off. So I meant to redo it later and I just got busy and have been pretty busy for a few days. And I knew this was going to get long-winded.
Okay, Petyr and Sansa. Here goes...
Truthfully, when it comes to whether or not he actually loved Sansa and how much he loved Sansa, the answer is I have no fucking clue. Because I'm honest enough with myself to know that there is a difference between the truth and what I wanted to be the truth.
I wanted him to love her, I really, really did. I wanted him to want her more than he ever wanted Cat and for that love to be real, and genuine, and selfless...but it wasn’t.
If I'm being really honest, I was pretty sure he didn’t actually love her at all until the tears came at his death, but even that doesn't convince me wholeheartedly that he loved her. He was a master manipulator. The tears may have just been another way to manipulate her, or they may very well have been tears for his own life.
Now, I do think he may have cared more for Sansa than Cat simply because he was a child when he "loved" Cat and children don't really understand what it means to love someone, not romantically anyway. Children also aren't anywhere close to who they will become as adults, and that's true for both Petyr and Catelyn, so that girl he thought he loved didn't even exist anymore. Neither did the boy who loved her.
I do think he grew more fond of Sansa than Cat. And you said his face lit up when he saw her and I believe the scene in particular you're thinking of is in season 4, after Lysa’s death and after she's dyed her hair, and she comes down the stairs and says, "Shall we go?" He does look quite enamored with her there, yes. But is it just attraction? That's the question that has to be determined because I do believe at the very least he was attracted to Sansa and she represented everything he ever wanted and was denied, and in her he saw his chance to finally have it all.
I think it was a bit more than just physical attraction. I think he saw her becoming someone like himself and Littlefinger definitely loves Littlefinger.
I guess the best way I can describe what I think about Petyr's feelings towards Sansa, is that he loved her as much as he was capable of. I think if she'd reciprocated that love, there's a chance that he could have loved her even more and actually became a man who would have done anything to protect her and I think this because he didn't know what it was like for a woman to want him back as much as he wanted them. He's never known that feeling. To be honest I've never known that feeling either so I can only imagine how incredibly fucking good it would feel. It has to feel amazing, right? So imagine what he could have become with that feeling.
I don't think he would have become a straight arrow, noble, do the right thing kind of man, no - but I think he would have become a man who would have done anything to protect the woman he loved. There's a chance he would have anyway. Because what shaped Petyr into who he became was the rejection from those he so desperately sought acceptance and love from. So yeah, if Sansa had reciprocated...but she didn't.
I'm not sure any of that is the answer you wanted but it's the best I can do. Because in all honesty, his actions with Sansa were not those of a man who loved her more than anything. They were that of a man using her as a pawn to scheme and ultimately get everything HE wanted.
Of course, in my fic, I tell the story of a different Petyr. I tell the story of a man who can be thawed, who can feel, and who can love. That's the only Petyr that makes sense to me, despite what GRRM may believe. A boy who risked his life for a girl he loved can't just become all evil, and that's it and nothing more. People just don't work that way. Somewhere inside of all of us, there still exists those children that we once were.
I think Aidan would agree with that, I really do, because he said he played him and tried to play him as a man that you could like, despite these awful things he's done. I believe Aidan understands too that people just can't be inherently evil.
Or maybe I'm just a hopeless romantic.

For a while, until season 5, when I still thought Tyrion was a good man and never considered Jonsa as a couple, I thought Sansa and Tyrion could be a possible couple. A kind of Beauty and the Beast story. I know that parallel was made for Sandor and Sansa but I always found difficult to think of them as such and in political terms made no sense. Before Jonsa, who did you think Sansa would end up with ?
Oh, I think you are quite right to read some Beauty & the Beast into their dynamic, anon! I've gotten some questions about "The Bear and the Maiden Fair" which is his in-world song along those lines and he’s associated that or B&B to a number of relationships. Finding traces or even direct references to it in a certain dynamic doesn't necessarily mean a mutual romance or an endgame couple, it may simply be one of the facets he wants to explore of a certain idea. So to me, it's certainly valid to find it and talk about it there, especially when there's such a contrast between the beautiful prince who abuses Sansa and the man society has tried to dehumanize who stops him. None of my "anti Tyrion" posts are meant to deny that, they're just written to highlight how he too wronged her, even if Sansa wasn't quite fully cognizant of it.
Tyrion may be a villain only slipping further into his villainy, but he has those moments when, like the Hound, he protects Sansa. The fact that he wanted the North so much, but stopped himself from sleeping with Sansa we can read as a moment that defies the expectations for him who has been stigmatized. On the one hand, well, it's the bare minimum, he isn't exactly a hero for not sleeping with a child who was forced into the marriage and is a prisoner in KL, but many times over, we're being shown that he isn't quite the monster his family/society made him out to be. This is not to say he is a good man, he did marry her because he wanted power, but I think it is meant to criticize society's prejudices.
Anyway, I actually didn't ship Sansa with anyone before Jon! I was a very casual fan who wasn't involved in the fandom, and I was simply happy to enjoy the show as it was. It was during the long hiatus that I become very curious about what the ending would be, found Jonsa, and am now a living testament to the power of smart meta writers, wonderful gif makers, talented artists, fabulous fic writers. The damage is immense. Just say no to fandom, kids, or this may be you! 😂
Even though I enjoyed Tyrion, I could never stomach him (or the Hound) with Sansa. Their interest in her while she's so young, the way Tyrion took advantage of her situation for his own benefit and the Hound threatening her....I couldn't be at peace with that. If say, Tyrion had married her and took her away to safety, or if the Hound had offered to help her escape KL without the frequent insults/threats of death/the assault, then you could imagine that Martin might be planning to have these play out in the fairytale way, but he didn't do that. He might be talking about the trope, is certainly referencing bigger ideas here, but it isn't following the path of the og story.
Also, I don't think Tyrion's choice to marry Sansa is defensible. She was a child bride. She was going to be forced to marry someone. She couldn't really say no, so her agreeing to it isn't meaningful. It's good Tyrion felt bad, but Sansa didn't have good options. I was very disturbed that D&D wanted us to think Tyrion was a great guy in s8 even though he was angry with Sansa for abandoning him and also wanted to reestablish his relationship with his child bride. Creepy AF.
Let’s see….I do think Sansa x Pod is a cute idea, Sansa x Jeyne is sweet, I think you could write aged up Sansa x Willas fics, lots of fans fell in love with the unnamed Prince of Dorne from the finale and started listing the benefits of long distance relationships...but even if Jon didn't exist, I don't think there is a canon option for Sansa that has both the potential of happening and would be good for her which is why a lot of people believe she'll marry a rando post canon. And I could be happy with that if the rando has a long face, a very large dog, and a surprising familiarity with Winterfell!

A Clash of Kings - 65 SANSA VIII (pages 817-826)
Tywin and the Tyrells get some upgrades, Joffrey publicly breaks up with Sansa, and Sansa gets a hairnet.
-
-Sansa reached the front of the gallery just as a blast of trumpets announced the entry of Lord Tywin Lannister. He rode his warhorse down the length of the hall and dismounted before the Iron Throne. Sansa had never seen such armor; all burnished red steel, inlaid with golden scrollwork and ornamentation. His rondels were sunbursts-
Thank you brain, for autofilling 'rondels' as 'Ronald (McDonalds.)' Anyway, Tywin Lannister is just Very Extra.
The Lord of Casterly Rock made such an impressive figure that it was a shock when his destrier dropped a load of dung right at the base of the throne.
This horse knows what's up.
Like a pack of trained dogs, the lords and ladies in the hall began to shout their pleasure. "Margaery," they called, "Give us Margaery!" And, "No traitor queens! Tyrell! Tyrell!"
How quickly the ladies forget who was with them as they waited their inevitable doom. No, I get it, even if any of them appreciated Sansa keeping them calm and being there at that moment, the king is still an unstable little shit, and backing Sansa offers them no political or social value. Never mind that it was one instance in the time she's been there, most of which has been spent watching her get abused and ostracized.
(Also, Sansa doesn't want to marry Joffrey anymore so this is a boon for her... if we ignore the layers of protection it removes along with her title of future queen.)
-their chief accomplishment had been surviving the battle on the river, a feat that few enough could boast.
Yeah, no, that does deserve an award to be honest, that shit was intense.
Oh, Lancel and Tyrion update: both alive but not physically well off. That's better than either probably expected though, so take the win.
Sansa had not heard of Littlefinger doing anything especially heroic during the battle, but it seemed he was to be rewarded all the same.
Peter Baelish would do numbers on twitter. Wow, I am mean tonight. (joking)
Joffrey lurched to his feet. "I'm king! Kill him! Kill him now! I command it." He chopped down with his hand, a furious, angry gesture... and screeched in pain when his arm brushed against one of the sharp metal fangs that surrounded him. The bright crimson samite of his sleeve turned a darker shade of red as his blood soaked through it.
Looks like the throne disagrees with you on that, Joffrey. Pfff, and Cersei was worried Sansa would humiliate Joffrey, look, he's doing it all on his own.
... Ohhhh, Sansa's so happy to be free, but Dontos knows what's up *casually smacks him with the steel chair for slobbery kisses in Sansa's ear*
"What stones are these?" "Black amethysts from Asshai. the rarest kind, a deep true purple by daylight." "It's very lovely," Sansa said, thinking, It's a ship I need, not a net for my hair. "Lovlier than you know, sweet child. It's magic, you see. It's justice you hold. It's vengeance for your father." Dontos leaned close and kissed her again. "It's home."
It's poison. Ah, hindsight, you make things so blatantly obvious.
"It's a ship I need, not a net for my hair." Dany knows that feels.
Now: stop kissing the underage child or I'mma smack you with the chair again! or worse, I'll Spontaneous AU you to death!
Ahh, poor Sansa, she thinks she's so close to freedom, to going home.
By the way, if anyone is wondering: black amethysts are a real thing, the dark colour is from hematite and iron in the matrix. The real question is: does it noticeably change the magnetics of the amethyst, even if only from nah to not really?
It's the real question though, right, because hematite is magnetic, but amethyst, the regular ones iirc, have like a repulsing magnetic field, instead of a pulling, like when you put two south ends of magnets together, but nowhere near as noticeable. Hmmmm, google research spiral activate!

so i have a recent obsession with the song until I found you. And I think it's a crime that it doesn't have a jonsa fan mad music video but anyways. Would you be willing I write a one shot based on how the song makes you feel around this ship? So that Everytime I day dream with this song I'll dream of your words. Of course only when your current brain riots for certain FICS are on pose have writer's block. No rush, just be here twirling with jonsa in a field of flowers
Well, nonny (Hi ;D)
to be honest it is quite a Jonsa song, that one, especially considering Jon was all dark and brooding and darkness and cold is all the remains and then boom!, here enters Sansa on her tiptoes and Jon is like “Found you. Mine. Must protect” and everything he had lost suddenly pours out and onto Sansa as if she has brought back light into his world and he nows has a purpose again.
Now... I would be more than willing to write such a one shot, quick question, would you rather a modern setting or a canon setting?
Let me know whilst I brainstorm what to bring forth ;) Safe to say you'll get the one shot soon :*
Sending all my love ~G.
Oh, and btw, here: just so you can keep twirling in your field of flowers with Jonsa:
Asha spat to the ground. Starks, she thought with a sneer, all they thought was that they were high and mighty, and yet there was only an handful of them to speak of. With all their talks about honor and holier-than-thou attitude it was not a wonder Theon had become such a prissy. The Stark woman didn't give not even a hint of having noticed her, less than ladylike, behavior. She stood with a blue veil at her head and her dress was clearly Stark in coloring. Asha supposed she had paid the golden price for it, she might even have fun tear it off her, if her guard-dog of a brother wouldn't be so stiff. (...) “Whatever the reason to imprison us here?,” Asha demanded with boredom seeping into her tone “I was under the impression we had reached an agreement, though perhaps I ought not to put faith in the words of an oathbreaker or his Lannister of a sister” “That agreement was broken the moment we received news Shireen Baratheon had been murdered,” lady Stark — or was it the de facto acting Queen in the North? Asha could not remember, though she remembered distinctly they called her ‘Her Grace—this’ and ‘Her Grace—that’ — told her “all your worth resides in the fact that the prince of Winterfell was alive and safe, but if the heir to the Iron throne was not safe from her own father, then on which grounds do you think you can parlay with us about your brother's fate?” She got quite the bite for a whiny princess, Asha had to admit. She could respect that. A kraken could respect another beast when it saw it. She shrugged “I am still your best bet,” she said nonchalantly. Lady Stark jutted her chin up at that, in a way that was so easily abrasive and annoying, because it made Asha want to stand at order, she forced herself to slouch lower. “Are you now?” she asked, and, quite suddenly the King in the North appeared at her side, wearing a dark black jerkin — what a surprise there — but there was something strange in his appearance, something Asha could not pinpoint. “You see, lady Asha, I've spent long years in Kings Landing but I've never forgotten the old way, king Stannis has committed kinslaying by murdering his own child for the Iron throne. I am sure that...with the right candidate, we could easily dispose of him and take back our brother, as for yours... he shall face judgment for his crimes” she added, her voice never wavering despite the slight tremble in her hands.
Yep, it's almost here, the new chapter of «Like wolves in the Darkness»!
As always sending all my love ~G.

Abandon Them Like You Abandoned Me
Immysan
Summary:
Jaime was lord of Casterly Rock for two years now. His confusion on why he was lord and not imprisoned by King Bran had settled a few months ago. Jaime mostly spend his days listening to petty squabbles between common folk, enjoying wine and feeling like shit for being alive. That was until he saw her, Brienne of Tarth, holding a small boy. She greeted the king with a smile so innocent, Jaime could feel himself melt from so far away. She easily walked with her father to their seat near other Stormland lords. They had a very nice view of the field. “Who is that child with lady Brienne?” Jaime asked the man sitting next to him. Tyrion nonchalantly shrugged at his brother. “Tyrion, I only saw a glimpse, but he looks golden.” “Hush, I am unsure what Lady Brienne has done during the two years of peace. It’s the first time since the war I have seen her on the mainland.” Jaime looked over at Brienne. She was lovely. Her hair still straw colored, her shoulders broad and those big hands holding the small boy, taking him from her lap and onto his…. “Who is that?!” Jaime whispered sharply.” “Ah, except that time she went with her lord husband to the wall.” “Husband?” “Peace helps people heal”
——
I as an writer an imploring anyone WHO CAN WRITE BRILLANTLY TO TAKE THIS STORY AND WRITE IT. This is WHAT I WANT TO WRITE AND WILL ACTUALLY STRUGLGLE WRITING AAAAAA
Brienne foolishly gets pregnant by Jaime after. Wanting her child not to be a bastard she agrees to marry someone and goes back home with her husband. Jaime does not KNOW.
Skip two years.
Jaime pov
Jaime is at a tourney waiting for the box to fill with all the invited nobles when he spotts Brienne walking in with her Tarth contingent. Jaime focuses on Brienne who was wearing breeches. She greets King Bran, notices the small golden lion that looks like a younger Tywin, because of paintings and when Genna makes mention of the child being lion like in whispers Tyrion tells them to shut up rudely. Jaime with new found desire for Brienne tries to think up a way to talk to her without making it obvious and giving attention to the child. Tyrion says Tormund is ginger maybe it’s his kid and Jaime scoffs then asked what she married that brute . Jaime finds a moment to talk to Brienne when she is alone coming from the privy and questions the child and she gets annoyed says I have no reason to talk about my child with a stranger or someone who is not family. He says he has rights to his son in a whispers which pisses her off more and she leaves. Mind you I will find a way to have them argue and kiss because they king of cuckolding is Jaime. I am obsessed with Tragedy too. Anyway the first day ends well. In this story lords stay in tents on the grounds during tourneys. Jaime is pacing and angry at everything then sulks that he wants to hold the kid. He never gets to hold his children and it sucks. Tyrion shrugged nonchalantly and uncaring, while Genna insult and gasses Jaime up. There is another talk between Jaime and Brienne which ends bad and she says do not speak to me in private lest tongues wag. Jaime tries to get Sansa to talk but she is also extremely nonchalant like Tyrion, both besties in gaslighting.
Jaime pov
The next day Brienne joined the melee and wins making everyone amazed and Jaime gets hard. He and Tyrion talk in whispers about how great she is. Jaime and Tyrion. Sansa comes to sit with them and gaslights the fuck out of them and mentions how good a mother Brienne is and Tormund is a great father. Which pisses Jaime and he goes to talk with Brienne in the tent that does go good. Jaime is bad with words and was a loser for two years. Brienne tells him you abandoned me not once, but twice. You left me for Cersei then refused to find any information about me. I would have taken you back as foolish as I am I would have, but not now. Leave me. Leave Galladon. She goes away and sits with Tormund who tells her something. A servant comes to tell her something which makes Brienne freak out and Tormund follows with Galladon in his hand. A group of stormland nobles sitting behind Jaime start talking about Brienne. “Ah, her last pregnancy was horrible I heard. Thank the lords, lord Tormund was there with her. He went all the way to the free world for a midwife. Such a good father.” “I am so jealous. If only my husband was as kind.” “Neither of her children look like the good lady.” Jaime ears perked up, then he asked Tyrion. “She bore the beast children?” “Twins I heard.” Jaime groaned. How the fuck was he supposed to win her over when she is mother of two children.
He catches her again and they talk and she is like then WHY DID YOU NOT CONTACT ME DURING THE TWO YEARS?! Gods, Brienne, how was I supposed? Say hey sorry for abandoning you, want to marry me? My sister dead, marry me? I Did look for you, but heard from Sansa you were in Tarth and doing good, nothing more. I thought about sailing to tarth, but again what was I supposed to say? I was crippled, sad, berated and had to pay my dues during the war. That is all my fault...
Okay so rereading on the seventh on Aug I think the starks scheming to get Brinne and Jaime together is bad writing, so that is completely dropped. I will just write it as luck and Sansa being mean, petty and Bran being petty to Jaime. Tyrion wanted to be annoying to Jaime for letting such a good women go, but regrets it when he sees the young child. Hears how Galladon looks like a really young Tywin with sapphire eyes. It's baffling to Genna and she wants Jaime to find away to get their heir back.
It's peace time so you'll hear no drama, war talk or some nonsense about angry nobles. I might talk about grains, spring however I never experience four season.
Jaime pov
Day three: Tormund and Brienne are absent from the tourney. Jaime heard from ser Podrick how one of the twins is sick. Sansa says she didn’t know they had children and that Brienne and Tormund barely talked about their private life. They only came here because after this they would head to Winterfell . To Tormund’s childhood home. She asks Jaime do you still like or love Brienne and he doesn’t reply. He thinks then says yes he does love her. Maybe taking that approach would get him back in her head. Sansa says well stay away from her, Brienne looks happy.
Brienne pov day one.
She greets King Bran and shows him Galladon who eagerly tells him he always wanted to meet a king. Selwyn is older with eagerness. Maybe I should remove Selwyn from the story. Tormund greets him with a bow and very kind nobly words. She says Galladon is weirdly wordy refuses to keep his mouth shut. She takes her seat with the nobles and tells Tormund how boring Tourney’s are when you do not compete yourself. Later she excuses herself meets Jaime and shares her desire that sparked when they argued. She sits with Tormund and listened to the next group. They gossip, mostly her telling him who is who and him adding a catty remark that gets an equally mean reply.
Brienne pov day two
Brienne and Tormund talk at night in the tent about Jaime and how someone saw them arguing. Brienne’s reaction to her daughter getting sick, an old sickness comes back and she wants to leave. Tormund says take the horse and he will follow later with Galladon. It’s only right he tells the king then leaves.
Brienne pov day three
Brienne is worried about her daughter sickness getting worse. The journey to the mainland she was fine, but a little weak, but she survived the journey, She tells Tormund they should have stayed. He says we should have brought Ygritte with us, but curse her and her stupid.. Tormund, it is her wedding month, let her be. He sighs saying he knows, but he got her here incase he or the kids got sick, so she should stay a single sphincter. Brienne laughs at his words and frowns. The maester ensures everything will be fine and it is just a mild cold from the heat. Keep her hydrated, so Brienne does. Brienne waits until the maester is gone to tell Tormund, I always thought Talysanne would get sick first or often, as she does latch on my breast. Tormund shrugs and sits next to her. He takes her hand and says most of the children in this one village never latched they drank horse milk and were very healthy. I am sorry I can't do much. Brienne lowers her head. You did more for me than anyone during the two years. Because you refuse help. He joked kissed her and hand and they get up to care for Talysanne. Do you believe names have curses? Tormund asked suddenly. No, I pray no.
I literally fell asleep writing. Got so tired from the heat.
Jaime pov
figuring out how to see and hold Galladon, so he walks around their wings sometimes, the yards and throne room, when he finally gets the change it is by seeing a Galladon holding a wooden sword and fighting against a tree. Tormund is with him showing him which moves he can use. Jaime comments that the child is adorable to which Tormund replied he agrees. Tyrion appears and comes to watch the kid who then stops and smiles. Tormund tells them if you wanna touch him you can. Jaime gladly touches the kid, rubs his hair and asks if he can pick him up. They talk about children and how they should be raised and Tormund surprises them he has no kids, wanted to raise Galladon like a wildling, but Brienne doesn’t.
Brienne pov
She is caring for her sick daughter with the maester. She had sent Galladon away with Tormund. She knew she should have not brought the twins at barely one years old. She sighs and weeps when suddenly her other baby cries and the servant quickly soothes her. Brienne goes to her daughter and asks what is wrong. She tells the servants to care for the sick one and leaves with her daughter then meets Genna outside by the stairs. She asks if she can walk with her. She agrees reluctantly and they talk about her daughter and asks how it came to be she has twins in a sly way which Brienne says are a husband and wife not supposed to fuck. Genna laughs walks after her and says I just thought he had the decency to know about his child. Why keep it a secret? Why have another set of children when you could be lady of the rock and live happy. Brienne turns and says hurt why does everyone assume I am unhappy in my marriage? Brienne walked up when she saw Jaime holding Galladon in the air. They looked a like and panic soured to her. Galladon was truly a fierce lion reborn. Slowly more familiar faces came into view and Brienne felt awful. This could have been Jaime’s life, him as a father, but here I am no good as Cersei depriving my love of his child. His only heir. Genna and Brienne stepped into the circle. Brienne walked to Tormund side and gave him a nasty look which got a wide eye response from him. “Mama, hold me mama.” Galladon says and Brienne gave little Tarianne to Tormund and took Galladon from a sulking Jaime. “Does Galladon not like me?” Jaime teased the child. “I like being in mama’s arms, people must look up to me when I am in my mama’s arms, like the little lord I am.” That made everyone laugh and Genna whispered to Jaime “just like Tywin.” “When was he born?” “August 6th.” Tormund answered. “Oh my, my brother was born in august.” Genna replied delighted. “He should have been named Tywin.” There came some laughter, little awkward. Tarianne fussed and giggled, she pulled her fathers beard and giggled louder. Tormund asked if she was sleeping earlier? No, her nanny was playing with her. Tormund leaned closer and Brienne listened ignoring the others for a moment then smiled. I agree, you can. King Bran said “His name day will be in a 3 months. Will you celebrate big and invite us?” “Of course, we’ll be north by that time, your majesty.” Tormund said. “It’s been planned since the twins birth.” Brienne nodded. “Only if Talysanne feels better will we travel. For now we can only wait.” “She is a strong girl, she’ll be fine.” Sansa reassured. “I trust the maesters will help as best they can.” “Tsk, a wildling can cure children illnesses better.” “Not again.” Brienne replied. “Later we can argue all you want.” “Tsk tsk tsk, it’s not arguing when my advice can have our girl healed quickly.” Brienne looked away. “The maesters won’t fail us, Tormund.” “Indeed, I have the best maesters in the castle right now. All of them are looking over your daughter now.”
The group goes to eat their last meal of the day together. Brienne and Tormund head to bed and talk about their day then daughter. She gives him a smile then leaves for her chambers. Tormund goes to his. Brienne lies awake for an hour Pickering about her daughter then sits by her bed and ask servants to watch her well.
Jaime pov
Okay so Jaime thinks up ways to see Brienne alone and the perfect opportunity arrives when Tormund is busy with hears of Arya sailing here. Tormund leaves with Sansa to the harbour. Jaime, Tyrion and Brienne talk about the peace and being lords. Galladon is playing with a sword. He calls his mother to look at him often. Podrick joins them too and they start reminiscing about the past fondly. The past and future were good. Podrick is like I am glad you got to fulfill your wish. Jaime agrees and reaches for her hand and says he never meant to hurt her. Galladon shouts and walks up the group and berates them for not watching him beat his opponent. Brienne pulls her hand away. Jaime asked if Galladon if he saw his mother fight often and he says she doesn’t beat anyone. To which Jaime says I beat her many times. Galladon says proof it. Brienne smiles says I stopped holding back since Galladons birth. Tyrion comments with laughter and Podrick says you were a strong force before! They spar and sparks fly. Jaime is sure she still likes him and asks for just one conversation in private. Brienne refuses, takes Galladon and excuses herself. The twins need her. Brienne’s heart races. The journey was a bad idea. She checks on the twins, sits with them for hours then goes to eat supper. She hears Tormund’s voice booming and meets the Starks. They exchange pleasantries. Arya says she wants to see the babies. She can’t believe they never said anything about babies. The women go to her room and meet the children. They ask her point blank why she hasn’t even invited them for the twins, why the secrets and Brienne blushed says I forgot. Tormund wanted to say something but left it to me and I just forgot. Raising children is heard, even with help! Later that night Tormund sits on her bed and they talk about how big Arya became and he starts commenting about Galladon future, saying he won’t mind where the child goes and suddenly says if you wanna divorce me I won’t mind. This makes Brienne’s smile falter and she remains quiet. Tormund says Brienne? Again, again, then stops asking. He gets up and bids her goodnight and leaves. The next day Brienne breaks her fast with Galladon says little Tarianne is still sick and she does not get why. She never dealt with sickness like this. Usually it takes a few days to break. Sansa comforts her. When Tormund walks in she stiffens looks away, but he just comes to her side greets everyone nicely and takes a happy Galladon shrieking for his father. He says the boy should finish his meal with his father. Sansa says he is making things up to spend more time with Galladon and Brienne says you should him at home with Galladon. A spoiled brat of a father. Jaime strolls in with a fuming Genna and they see Galladon. Genna greets the boy quickly while Jaime greets everyone then Brienne, Sansa, Tormund and Galladon. He asks about the sick girl and they both say it’s not going as well as they hope.
NOW HOW DO I GeT JAIME AND BRIENNE TOGETHA?
Why is Genna angry? Genna invites Brienne to teatime with Sansa, and Arya in the garden at ten am. Brienne agrees against better judgement. The teatime goes. Jaime watches from a far for a moment trying to listen but gives up and goes to look for Tyrion and asked what he thinks of everything happening right now. The child that should be his heir and future lord of the house. Tyrion says he knew she had a child, but no one but people on Tarth saw him. They called him the sun's son, but that was all. They boy was not his to claim and you, Jaime were so sad about your love's death, your children's death, the broken heart from leaving Brienne, I could not go and talk to you about rumours. I could not go barge into Tarth demand to see the child, hidden away from everyone, even King Bran, Queen Sansa and Jon snow. What rights did I have? What rights do I have now when he has a father. Jaime groans. He should be calling me papa, Tyrion, He should come to me for sword advice, be in my arms and demand the lords bow to him, make stupid idioms of lions being brave. I have nothing now. Tyrion laughs. You choice nothing, Jaime. You choose nothing for two years. Jaime groaned he had no choice in choosing. It was the baby in Cersei or the woman he loved who could have been killed. Could have could have been. There was a different presence now.
Brienne pov
Genna jumps Brienne with the why's and how she deprived the small child of a very amazing title, he would be the future lord of casterly rock. Brienne scoffs, so I should have carried the tittle Kingslayers whore and bastard mother for two years? Genna says not what I meant. You could have told Sansa or me about the pregnancy and I would have definitely gotten you out of the war, brought you to casterly rock and a lady, Jaime's fiance. For so long we waited for Jaime's marriage. I can see how your eyes drift to him. You still love him, so why do you torture yourself and your son. Brienne does not reply. Sansa said I heard rumours your marriage with Tormund was bad, but seeing you two interact I see something differnet. Brienne are you truly happy? Brienne looked over to the flowers and still remains quiet. Genna scoffs. You will age horribly if you keep all your emotions pent up inside you. At least share with me why you are stealing Galladon's future? Brienne looks back. I am stealing nothing. Nothing was offered duting my pregnancy. I want for nothing. although Tartth is not rich, it has done well for nearly three years, Galladon is the future evenstar, lord of Tarth and ship guide for every ship that sails. He is happy and I am happy. Tormund is trying. He adapted and I should not talk about my husband behind his back. What can you or Jaime offer that I do not already have? Nothing, lady Genna. Lady Sansa, forgive me for not keeping you updated as I promised, but I was scared someone would intercept the letters and tell Tyrion of Galladon's birth, of when he was born. I have grown so accustomed to privacy I forgot sharing news of my twins. Tormund wanted to travel to winterfell earlier, but I hesitated, until the summons for a tourney. We will visit your wonderful kingdom later this year. Genna frowns is there nothing that will make you change your mind? Brienne shakes her head and remained quiet.
Later that night Brienne pressed onto her fingers onto hard flesh, rubbed a line down till she touched his upper elbow. "In your culture this is erotic, is it not?"
Tormund nods. "It is, my lady. Mayhaps, you should not touch unless you are wanting a match?"
"You've never won against me, my lord." Brienne replied.
They talk about their day and she confesses that Jaime is a problem in her heart and Tormund again offers a divorce, but say I will say no the first time. I don't want to letyou go, but I want you happy. Brienne gets annoyed, she can't pretend to be asleep and says I will not abandon our family like Jaime abandoned me. To which Tormund whispers brokenly It is only me, the twins I can visit, can I not?
Brienne gets out of bed. Checks the twins and stays there. Tormund groaned and keeps his eyes shut.
Jaime pov
Jaime says it would be nice if there were no other kids and she could easily divorce the her husband, then with no problem I could make her my wife. Tyrion agrees it would be nice, the young boy is too much as a lion to be growing up under a brute Northman. Jaime is not classist, he's just jealous. When he hears the child is still sick he wonders if it is his negativre thoughts that manifested the sickness so he shuts up.
It's been nine days since the tourney. The child is still somewhat sick, therefore Jaime rarely sees Brienne with Galladon. He was sitting wiith Tyrion on a balcony overlooking the western garden when he saw Brienne walking out of the building holding a baby. A baby. Tyrion says ah, that must be Tarianne She stands in the sun with the child. Galladon walking behind holding her dress and speaking. They stand for a long time soaking the sun. Jaime says she might never give this up for me. Tyrion thinks the humans are strange and will do anything for love, maybe like you she can break their marriage oath, what is a man who worships the old gods?
He meets Brienne by chance in the hallway, she is staning by a window, taking in the view and sighing. Jaime comes by her side and asks if they can talk, so they do. Jaime walks with Brienne to her room and they talk about sword styles, fighitng, his hand and how it is to be a lord. She suddenly smiles proudly that tarth is doing great. He goes in, she continues talking when the door closes and Jaime and Brienne look at each other in shock. "Ah, it is not what I wanted, Entering your chambers without permission is not what I wanted."
They kiss by sheer attraction, fiercely and Jaime sees how she becomes red, tells him to go and Tarianne is still sick. Jaime goes, hoping no one saw him. The attractoin is there, so it might work. They might fight against their feelings, but attraction, desire and pure human emotions can't keep them apart.
Brienne pov
She tells Tormund about how Jaime and her kissed and he looked at her completely taken back and then he laughs saying ain't nothing he did not expect and Brienne is offended. He says he was wondering why his room and hers were seperated. It was not like other stormland nobles had seperate rooms, some shared one chamber and them knowing they were married should have given them the same room and he wonders if maybe someone is hoping she goes back to Jaime. If she wants Jaime then he is fine with her, it might be the insecurity talking but Brienne I don't mind much, I want you happy and Brienne gets so angry at him. She says stop trying to save me, Tormund. Stop assuming I still need savng from my emotions, from the craven me I was two years ago. I won't do anything to horrible to Galladon, to our twins or you. Tormund stands holds her hand and says I am not saving you, I am offering you a choice, one that was not given to you two years ago./ I assume he regrets it. I assume by the looks that he throws your way that he regrets everything, that it is eating him up and I know hi-
And me, Tormund? Where do I falll in your speech of choice?
I am getting there. I know his name is still on your lips as you say your prayers to the seven. Brienne, Gods my lovely Brienne, all I desire is your happiness, your true happiness and I think i can only achieve seeing you happy with Jaime. He would raise the twins as his own, just like I would. You could always send them my way.
You and him are both fucking selfish bastards. Sleep in your own bed, Tormund, I want you far away.
Tormund said he doesn't want to, but he will. He leaves.
Brienne angrily cries and is sure everything is this stupid castle fault. She chekcs on her kids sees them still sleeping and goes too bed.
There comes good news the maeter says the girl is doing good and the sun has done her good, some color in her skin. Brienne is glad, she enjoys silence in the gardens with the three kds and the nanny, when sansa strolls up with Tyruin and they talk. Arya is sparring with some knights in the yard and beating them. Tyrion and Sansa say they can take Galladon to watch but she says no. Do not take my son anywhere. Sansa is taken back the vicicousness and asks if she is okay and Brienne is like sorry, Galladon do you want to go see them spar? She takes his hand and carries her daughter to the yeards where they watch in the shade. She sees Jaime sparring too and it brings fond memories back. God, never deprive yourself of a person when they feelings were hatred, you will focus to much on it and when you see them again it is love. Jaime stops walks over and greets Galladon with smiles and asks if he wants to fight too. Brienne says stop asking him to fight.
Galladon agrees and plays with Jaime and Brienne grows annoyed by everything. how stupid, make it obvious I carried a bastard and pawned him off to another man. She turns to the septa and whispers for her to take the twins. THe septa does and she calls Galladon back. Offers him a toy and leaves, Jaime follows and says he will be leaving two days later, escorting Genna back and he needs to do some lordship things. When are you leacing? When mt daughter feels good. I think when the weather is good.
Jaime nods and leaves her be talks to Tyrion.
Jaime pov
Jaime prepares for his leave, escorts Genna halfway, meets his advisor and tells him his words, signs a letter and goes back to the castle with high hopes. Foolishly high hopes.
When he arrives it is Sansa and Tyrion waiting for him. They bring him somewhere quiet and tell him the child Tarianne passed away, so he must keep his words less and watch what he says./ Brienne is mourning and Tormund is in a foul mood terrorizing the squires in the yard. They are waiting for John. They go back to the gates and see John approaching. He hugs everyone and they tell him what happened. Jaime asked if Tyrion did anything or someone poisoned the kid, but no none of that. Children fall ill then grow sick fairly quickly. Brienne and Tormund are arguing in their room when they knock and he hears them talking about how the funeral should proceed. Sansa says Brienne wants the burned in Tarth, while Tormund wants her buried in the north with his ancestors. Sansa knocked and they crowded in. Tormund leaned against the wall near the window and Brienne was standing holding a necklace in her hand, she rubbed the bead of the necklace and asked what they wanted.
They noticed Bran in the room with a solemn smile. He said he came with an option for them, but they are arguing so much he barely had time to say his piece. something like that.
They give their condolences. Bran whispered to John they agreed to let me adopt Tarianne as my daughter and have her buried here, but are fighting for no other reason than throwing the blame at someone.
Brienne pov
The funeral happens and Brienne is crying in Tormund's embrace and he has tears tolling down his face. Galladon is talking to Bran. Talysanne is asleep i her septa's hands.
Okay where should I go with this story now? Hhmm maybe a sweet moment of Brienne crying to Jaime and telling him how much she missed him in a moment of weakness.
how she would have dropped everything for him. She tells him she hated leaving Galladon alone, hated leaving him with Tormund too, it was when he was sick and cared for him, brought Ygritte a witch that helped remove the slime out of his throat that she felt she could trust Tormund. here Jaime is giving me sweet words, telling me of a future that could have been. Everything could have been, Jaime. You could have died many times, been a father many times, I am sure you would, but no, you aren't because of choices. I am a mother of three. All three were unplanned, but I kept them because I wanted to be a mother, I wanted to give them a chance and see myself happy as a mother, show my dad his heir. Did you ever see me as your wife, Jaime?
I did I saw you as my wife many times, beofre I knew of the baby and I hated how I left you alone, i was a coward, thinking hightly of myself, thinking there was only one way to protect you. Clearly there were more ways, options, but I was a fool. gods, Brienne how can I rectify my mistake? How can I get you and your children back in my life? I don’t know, Jaime. I don’t know. she gets up from her seat next to him, wipes her tears and leaves.
John pov.
John is with Tormund sitting on the balcony overlooking the city. He sighs and holds Talysanne carefully and looked over at John sulking. “will you stop being so sad, John?”
”I can’t help it. The first time I hear and meet my niece is when she is being buried. I am sorry, I was insensitive.”
”no, I understand. I get… my god I should have never waited to tell you or any stark. Even my brothers do not know about my children.”
”why?”
”I saw the fear in her eyes during Galladon’s growth. BRIENNE was paranoid, someone was out to get Galladon, yank him away from her and it was a fear coming from Jaime demanding the son he did not know about. You think she will leave me?”
”no. Should BRIENNE?”
”God, no. I ask, because I told her two times she can.”
”Talysanne?”
”Gods, I am unsure. I see her sad eyes and just want to see them turn bright once more. I am in love, John. So foolishly in love I would let my love choose hers, just so I can see her happiness. She called me selfish. A pig and fool.”
I really think killing Tormund is weak so prepare for a separation so cruel you will hate me for it.
Brienne pov
Brienne smiled at her reflection in the mirror, she was practicing for when she met the others. It's the second day after the funeral. She was sitting in her room, tear stained. Big muscular hands wrapped around her shoulders and she felt a kiss on her cheek. Tormund's beard tickled her and she made a comment of it. "How are you feeling, my lady? Don't answer. I wanted us to eat supper on the beach, but when I went to see what the beach is like here I was agash by the filthy smell, so no beach for us. I told the staff to prepare supper on a boat. But that would take to long and we'd grow hingry."
"How sweet of you, Tormund. I pray you have not let our food become cold by planning."
"I have!" He turned her towards him, kissed her on the lips, then said. "I hope you don't mind it's just the two of us."
"Who will care for our children? Surely you can't expect to leave them alone?"
"I asked John if he'd not mind."
Tormund brought Brienne to the gardens where they would eat their supper. It was lovely and he stood while she sat, kissed her hand, said how he loves her, enjoys her, wants her to be happy and more. He makes mention that Galladon and Talysanne will become fine nobles, because of his teaching.
Brienne squezes his hand and says you are leaving me. I know you are, so say it, instead of talking about love!

Here is a list of the absolutely incredible Jonsa Regency AUs that have inspired me to make this fanart.
Honestly I have read all of these multiple times and I'm always in awe at how incredible they are (the drama... the angst...the pining...the romance)
I can't recommend them enough so if you haven't checked them out yet I encourage you to do so and if you have read them then take this as sign to enjoy rereading something wonderful or send the authors some love!
you're in my blood like holy wine by magneticwave
Sansa finds it difficult to look at Jon’s face, with its weathered lines and cragginess. It is the face of the North and a face that northerners trust; the face of Sansa’s brothers and her father, who had been loved and respected by their tenants as their forefathers had been when they were kings. How can Sansa feel anything but resentment, looking into that face and knowing that all of her years of hard work will never earn her the respect that that profile engenders within seconds?
But she does. It is a small, burning coal of something that must be smothered.
moth's wings by @cellsshapedlikestars
Sansa was determined to convince her aunt to let Arya debut, which is how she finds herself in her current predicament.
“Who is this secret gentleman who has asked for your hand?” Aunt Lysa asks, and Sansa knows from her tone that she does not believe. (She has every right not to believe, for it is not true.)
And then Sansa does something very, very foolish.
She says a name.
“The Duke of Dragonstone!”
Or, Sansa fakes an engagement so that Arya can debut and marry the man she loves. The only problem? Her fake fiance just so happens to be in the city when he was not supposed to be.
a lady of winterfell by @wandering-scavenger
She bit her lip and exhaled shakily, “If you are so sickened by the prospect of marrying me, we should be able to obtain an annulment easily enough with your father’s connections.”
“I will do no such thing.” he snapped, refusing to look at her.
Sansa had never felt more rejected than she did at that moment. Her past experiences of being humiliated at the hand of Joffrey did not feel as painful as this. Even so, she could not allow him to see the weakness in her, not now.
“I will not be left out, Jon.” she said, tilting her chin up to look down at him.
He grimaced. They were silent for longer than she cared to count, but each second that he did not speak chipped away at her resolve and her ability to withhold her tears. Jon did not want her, and she could not blame him. Who could ever want her? It should not have distressed her as much as it did. She was never his favourite sister, she who treated him as a stranger since she was old enough to understand what a bastard was. A tear slipped down to her face until she tasted the salt of it on her lips.
“If we marry, we will remain so.”
Mine for a Season by @vivilove-jonsa
Colonel Jon Targaryen is a single man in possession of a good fortune who claims no interest in finding himself a wife. With his war wounds, he thinks no young lady would want him anyway for anything beyond the allure of his pocketbook.
Fortunately and unbeknownst to him, Fate has chosen to find a wife for him and will even deliver her right to his doorstep.
Taking on the responsibility of shepherding a young lady about for a Season in London is not at all what Jon had wished to do but he had accepted out of a sense of familial duty. However, once he meets Sansa again after only having met her years ago as a child, he may not consider it a duty so much as a torment.
The Bastard's Wife by hkafterdark
In the wake of her parents' deaths, Sansa is struggling to hold Winterfell together while the queen seeks to undermine her at all turns. Then Jon returns to Westeros as a Targaryen, and everything changes.

So, i got a few mods to work with baldur's gate III and i wanted to mess around with the CC. None of these characters are saved. I just have fun with mods to test a few things. I tried to recreate some of my ocs from different fandoms. Most of them are from Game of Thrones. I didn't read the books, i've watched the shows. I just let my imagination rage on.
Here's the first one : Fiyonna Stark, the oldest sister of Ned Stark. Giant lady but not as tall as Brienne. Considers her nephews and nieces like her own children and will try anything to protect them. Was in love with Roberts during their yongers years as they often fought together. She often thinks she'll never make it to the next winter because of all the wounds and scars she has. She doesn't know if she'll stay besides Bran when he becomes king or if she'll return to Winterfell to support and help Sansa.
Here's Jeyne Lannister ; The middle child. Younger sis of Cersei and Jaime, older sis of Tyrion. She's as good and gentle as Myrcella. Doesn't like Joffrey much. Was hoping for Tommen to survive longer. Cersei was an example and almost a mother figure to her, at a certain point. Jaime was an overprotective brother with her. Even when she was promise to Robb, he would rarely leave her alone with boys. Her relationship with her father is complicated… She never treated Tyrion like a monster. She doesn't want her family to die but can't support the peculiar tendencies of her sister when she was queen.
Here's Rachel Tyrell, sister of Margeary and Loras. Childhood friend of Jaime. She loves her family very much and is very dedicated to them. But also with her friendship with Jaime. Sadly, she's a bit oblivious, if not very, when someone would flirt with her openly. She loves to travel to Dorne and even had a child with a noble man of Dorne. But she never told who truly was the father. Her and Jaime reunited when he came back to kings landing. He confesses how jealous he was of her having a relationship before him and they never left each other's side ever since. They eventually marry in secret without telling a soul. But everything came to end when Rachel caught Jaime and Cersei together after Joffrey died. She left to go back to Highgarden with her son. When Jaime killed Olenna, Rachel was arrested for a time. Before he helped her escaped, even if she clearly despises him now. She tried to serve Daenerys for a time until she got killed by Jon Snow. She goes back to Highgarden after Bran becomes king.
Here's Rhaenyra Targaryen II, Sister of Rhaegar, Older sis of Daenerys. She always tried to please everyone when she was yonger. She tried to help and protect her mother Rhaella, like Jaime, but it often didn't work and would often end in Aerys beating up his own daughter. She couldn't get too friendly with men/boys cause it would end up in the same reasults. She wasn't killed after the rebellion for some reasons. She was kept as a prisoner for years. Until she managed to escape after killing up guards and changing her looks a bit. Since then, she tried to find any survivor of the Targaryen dynasty. She got a niece in Dorne, and a yonger sister who's with the Dothraki. Once she found Daenerys, She explained who she was and tried to help her out as much as possible. As well as protecting her. She'll try to help her keep her sanity and the throne. But she was so anger and destroyed after her death that Rhaenyra disappeared. Probably trying to find drogon. Or death.
Here's Baela Targaryen II, eldest daughter of Rhaegar and Elia Martell. Sibling of Rhaenys and Aegon, half sis of Jon Snow. She never wanted to rule over anything, but she wouldn't mind learning and taking necessary classes anyway. She loved reading and discovering new things. She was very close with her parents and siblings, despite knowing that love wasn't trully and fully present between her mom and dad. She was very close with her uncle Oberyn. But during the rebellion, her and her family was kept in the red dungeons by King Aerys to guarantee Dorne's Loyalty. Baela had to watch her siblings getting butchered and her mother getting raped and killed. Until it was her turn a few days later. She escaped by killing and hurting everyone in her way and lay low for… for what seemed to be an eternity. Until one day, she managed to reached Dorne. Half dead, hair shaved poorly. As poorly as her health. She was taken care by Oberyn and Ellaria. Baela has to hide in Dorne and changed her name for her security. She became an expert in poison, in stealth and assassinations. She became friend with Myrcella and was in charged of her protection and Trystane's. She always hated the Lannister with a burning passion. Besides Myrcella. After Ellaria killed Doran and after Baela realized how Trystane and Myrcella truly died, she left Dorne. Feeling like she was no longer safe, she tried to reach Dragonstone. She was welcomed by her aunt Rhaenyra II and was introduced to Daenerys. After reassuring her that the throne doesn't interest her, she gladly offers her help to take the Lannister and Kings Landing down. Baela almost died during the battle of Winterfell and coudn't participate in the fall of Kings Landing. After the death of Daenerys, she tried to look for her aunt Rhaenyra without much success. She returned to Dorne.
And we're done for the GOT ocs. Please don't come at me, i was just having fun. Sorry in advance for the mistakes. You can just ignore the texts if it bothers you and enjoys the pictures instead !
I also have two more ocs from another fandom but i won't put them in the same post.

Why does Jonsa feel like such an obscure solution to me lol? I'm a Jonsa, but it's not something that seems super obvious or direct in the story. If I hadn't known about the theory and was a casual reader with little knowledge of the evidence, I don't think I would have even seen Jon as a possible Sansa love interest. Do you think this is intentional?
You know, I've read the ASOIAF books and never saw any romance there except for Ned and Cat. And then one day watching the Show I saw romance. It was in the form of two supposed distant half siblings reuniting after years of separation and suffering. And curiously enough, they looked like Ned and Cat younger versions.
At that time of my life I decided to re-read those books and while doing that I had several epiphanies, like this one:
“No one will ever marry me for love.”
Be glad the Imp preferred his whores. It would not be fitting for my son to take that dwarf's leavings, but as he never touched you . . . How would you like to marry your cousin, the Lord Robert?" The thought made Sansa weary. All she knew of Robert Arryn was that he was a little boy, and sickly. It is not me she wants her son to marry, it is my claim. No one will ever marry me for love. But lying came easy to her now. "I . . . can scarcely wait to meet him, my lady. But he is still a child, is he not?" "He is eight. And not robust. But such a good boy, so bright and clever. He will be a great man, Alayne. The seed is strong, my lord husband said before he died.
—A Storm of Swords - Sansa VI
“By right Winterfell should go to my sister Sansa.”
—A Dance with Dragons - Jon I
“Winterfell belongs to my sister Sansa.”
—A Dance with Dragons - Jon IV
In the south, every great house of Westeros were fighting to get Sansa’s hand in marriage in order to take Winterfell and the north under their control. Sansa reflects about this objectification in the books and gives us one of the saddest lines in ASOIAF, especially coming from a girl who yearns to be loved and always dreamed of getting married: “No one will ever marry me for love,” (because everyone only wants her for her claim to Winterfell and the north).
Meanwhile at the Wall…
Jon Snow was offered legitimation, Winterfell’s Lordship and a wildling bride (Val) by King Stannis Baratheon, in order to gain the northern lords and the wildlings support to his claim to the Iron Throne. And Jon Snow rejected it all by saying: “By right Winterfell should go to my sister Sansa.” (A Dance with Dragons - Jon I) and “Winterfell belongs to my sister Sansa.” (A Dance with Dragons - Jon IV).
Yes, Jon’s answer was Sansa. Winterfell belongs to Sansa. He could have said “Winterfell belongs to my sisters Sansa and Arya” or “Winterfell belongs to my true-born sisters” or “Winterfell belongs to the Starks.” But no. He said, more than once, that Winterfell belongs to Sansa.
Unlike Tyrion, Willas, Theon, Littlefinger or even little Robert, who pursued Sansa’s claim over her, there was a man who was offered Winterfell and chose Sansa over her claim: “By right Winterfell should go to my sister Sansa.” – “Winterfell belongs to my sister Sansa.” Among all the high lords interested in becoming the Lord of Winterfell by marrying Sansa Stark, the bastard Jon Snow refused to despoil his sister Sansa of her rights, even if her claim is the one thing he has wanted as much as he had ever wanted anything.
So, do I think this is intentional??? Does this tell me anything???
For me the answer is yes, this tells me a lot.
...
Maybe I'm right and my speculations and theories and all my findings are hints for romance, or maybe they are just mere parallels and similarities without any significance, purpose, repercussion or effect, or even worse, they are just coincidence.
But when something happens that many times, it's no longer a coincidence.
Anyways, we will never know until George finish the Books.
Thanks for your message :)

I have to say it's so refreshing to see someone unafraid to criticise Ar/ya. It feels like I get more tired of her character on each re-read I do, and her stans' insane, overly aggressive behavior makes it difficult to like her. Although personally like you I don't care for her trope-y type of character either. I think she was a whiny little crybaby in her early chapters and awful to her sister until they were about to sail to WF. How do fans ignore all that but see occasional mean words of Sansa as satanic?? Anyway, that was rant-y, but thank you.
Hello Anon,
Thank you very much.
The thing is I am in this fandom since 2011 and I am too tired and old to try to censor my thoughts at this point. I used to be more understanding to her character and I actually didn't have many problems with her. If anything I even liked her first (I think it was because Arya actor was so cute in the show) and I was looking forward for Sansa-Arya reunion.
At first I wasn't into fandom that much so I wasn't aware of the fact that her fans HATE Sansa for fanon reasons. After witnessing that in the worst way I tried to understand why do they hate Sansa so much. And I realized that it was because they were totally misreading the characters and the dynamics. I also realized that Arya was much darker than I thought when I first read her.
Just like you said, her character really suffers from re-readings. You start to realize that she was bratty, rude, ill-behaved and violent. Her underdog/overlooked persona is just a fabricated false narrative (or maybe I should say written unconvincingly). When you first read her POVs without paying too much attention, you think she suffers as the unsatisfactory sister because of Sansa but in truth she is just jealous and it is HER who makes her sister life difficult. You realize that Sansa is actually the overlooked child who is trying too hard to have the attention of her father but Ned simply ignores her as a real human being with her own feelings and desires while focusing on Arya. When you see this dynamic, AGOT makes more sense. You understand how even a father who loves all his children can totally ruin his children's lives.
People love to say that Sansa was so rude to Arya and she was only truly rude her when she LOST everything (and Arya had a part in those) and Arya had everything she ever desired while being the troublemaker in the first place. Also watch how that scene goes:
Their father sighed. “I did not call you here to talk of dresses. I’m sending you both back to Winterfell.”
For the second time Sansa found herself too stunned for words. She felt her eyes grow moist again.
“You can’t,” Arya said.
“Please, Father,” Sansa managed at last. “Please don’t.”
Eddard Stark favored his daughters with a tired smile. “At last we’ve found something you agree on.”
Look at Arya saying SHE DOESN'T WANT TO LEAVE KL.
She is objecting to her father..
WOW what a little betrayer. How can she betray Ned like that? SMH...
Father’s mouth twitched strangely. “Sansa, I’m not sending you away for fighting, though the gods know I’m sick of you two squabbling. I want you back in Winterfell for your own safety. Three of my men were cut down like dogs not a league from where we sit, and what does Robert do? He goes hunting.”
Arya was chewing at her lip in that disgusting way she had. “Can we take Syrio back with us?”
“Who cares about your stupid dancing master?” Sansa flared. “Father, I only just now remembered, I can’t go away, I’m to marry Prince Joffrey.” She tried to smile bravely for him.”
Look at Arya willfully asking sth she DESIRES. (Btw if she couldn't have Syrio she would totally talk to him about this- them returning WF- because that girl is WILLFULL like Lyanna right? You can't call her Lyanna2.0 without accepting this, I am sorry)
PURE EVIL!! (also Sansa is always rude in her thoughts... until the very end she just keeps it to herself about how Arya is not pretty, dirty, naughty etc... she doesn't share her opinion with Arya... But I am sure no one has ever thought harmless but bad things about someone they actually love... no one!! Only too kind to share her thoughts Sansa has done this)
Arya made a face. “Not if Joffrey’s his father,” she said. “He’s a liar and a craven and anyhow he’s a stag, not a lion.”
Sansa felt tears in her eyes. “He is not! He’s not the least bit like that old drunken king,” she screamed at her sister, forgetting herself in her grief.
Sansa is literally crying and losing herself in grief of broken dreams and Arya thinks this is the best time to talk shit about the boy she likes... (Jon says he looks like a girl 2.0)
“I am looking for a fast trading galley to take you home. These days, the sea is safer than the kingsroad. You will sail as soon as I can find a proper ship, with Septa Mordane and a complement of guards…and yes, with Syrio Forel, if he agrees to enter my service. But say nothing of this. It’s better if no one knows of our plans. We’ll talk again tomorrow.”
Sansa cried as Septa Mordane marched them down the steps. They were going to take it all away; the tournaments and the court and her prince, everything, they were going to send her back to the bleak grey walls of Winterfell and lock her up forever. Her life was over before it had begun.
Arya as usual gets what she wants while being the trouble child and people pleaser Sansa is once again being punished. Sansa is crying, depressed and she already told us that SHE LOST HERSELF IN HER GRIEF.
“It won’t be so bad, Sansa,” Arya said. “We’re going to sail on a galley. It will be an adventure, and then we’ll be with Bran and Robb again, and Old Nan and Hodor and the rest.” She touched her on the arm.
“Hodor!” Sansa yelled. “You ought to marry Hodor, you’re just like him, stupid and hairy and ugly!” She wrenched away from her sister’s hand, stormed into her bedchamber, and barred the door behind her.
I am sorry but it easy to be kind (?) when you win everything and the other person is losing ALL. (and don't forget that this Arya had a heartfelt conversation with her father about her hatred and trauma... unlike Sansa)
And even in her consolation you can see that she is still blind to her sister's desires. Sansa doesn't want to sail and have adventures (LOL THE SHIP GIRL IS LOADING) Arya... that's not Sansa... that's YOU.
Also why the fck Hodor?? Why would seeing Hodor be same as becoming a queen in a place you find magical?? And if my sister tried to console me like this I would freaking lose it too. (let me also say that it wasn't little Arya's job to cheer/console her sister in the first place, it was Ned's but he is... idiot)
So Sansa calls her stupid, hairy and ugly at the end of her patience (after Arya insulting her future husband, after Arya being rude to her future family, after Arya doing sth she wasn't supposed to like playing with butcher boys, after Arya being rude to the prince, after Arya attacking the prince, after losing Lady because of Arya's wolf, after Arya being hateful to her, after Ned being distant to her while being there for Arya, after Arya once again insulting her future husband, after losing the chance for your dreams to come true while Arya having all that she desired).
Give her a break for real. I would be worse ngl. And I am sorry but calling your sister's any hobby/interest stupid and attacking her physically MORE THAN ONCE is just as bad (if not worse... it's worse imo..)
BTW why doesn't Sansa just call her HORSEFACE and done with it? I thought she was constantly bullying her with that name? Can't believe she doesn't use that name when she was the lowest and the angriest.
Because Sansa-I AM TOO KIND AND COURTESY IS EVERYTHING- Stark totally would use that word!! I am sure she uses that name.. Let me find it!! She had to think about it at least... she had to acknowledge that name at some point:
404 NOT FOUND.
Sansa's proper as* has never used that word. She has never even acknowledged that word but Arya can't be wrong ofc because only Sansa is the unreliable narrator... (Arya didn't misremember the name of Joff's sword or Jon didn't misremember that it was actually him who called Tyrion a friend not the other way around but Sansa is the only UN people...)
And it is funny because Sansa acknowledges she has a horsey face:
"Myrcella is a little baby." Arya grabbed Nymeria around her neck, but the moment she pulled out the brush again the direwolf wriggled free and bounded off. Frustrated, Arya threw down the brush. "Bad wolf!" she shouted.
Sansa couldn't help but smile a little. The kennelmaster once told her that an animal takes after its master. She gave Lady a quick little hug. Lady licked her cheek. Sansa giggled. Arya heard and whirled around, glaring. "I don't care what you say, I'm going out riding." Her long horsey face got the stubborn look that meant she was going to do something willful.
"Gods be true, Arya, sometimes you act like such a child," Sansa said. "I'll go by myself then. It will be ever so much nicer that way. Lady and I will eat all the lemon cakes and just have the best time without you." [AGOT- Sansa I]
So why has she NEVER used that name? What was stopping her EVEN in her THOUGHTS? Anyway... in any case Arya was worse as a sister so I understand why her stans are holding so tightly on "bully Sansa" narrative. Sad.
After re-readings you realize Sansa is actually the outsider of the family. 90% of her family simply don't deserve her for real but whatever.
But I want to say this again: My problem is not Arya as a character. It is the fanon characterization of Sansa by her fans and the author's really weak and forced writing when it comes to Arya. Even when I criticize her you can see that I am mostly angry at characters like Ned, the author himself and her fans. If they were more objective toward Sansa then I wouldn't be bothered by her character this much.
Thanks for the ask.
