My solution for bloatware is this: by law you should hire in every programming team someone who is Like, A Guy who has a crappy laptop with 4GB and an integrated graphics card, no scratch that, 2 GB of RAM, and a rural internet connection. And every time someone in your team proposes to add shit like NPCs with visible pores or ray tracing or all the bloatware that Windows, Adobe, etc. are doing now, they have to come back and try your project in the Guy's laptop and answer to him. He is allowed to insult you and humilliate you if it doesn't work in his laptop, and you should by law apologize and optimize it for him. If you try to put any kind of DRM or permanent internet connection, he is legally allowed to shoot you.

With about 5 or 10 years of that, we will fix the world.

Heya! I needed to take some screenshots for reference when writing a fic, so I thought it'd be nice to share :)

(Under the cut I've added everything I could make out in the writtings)

Room IX reads: (?) -> quality is too low to tell; considering the trench of which it is based on, probably along the lines of 'mangled', 'mutilated', 'maimed', etc

Room X reads: leprosy, hungry(?), dark.

Guys guys okay so about just under five years ago I, (with the help of my brother) came out to my parents as maybe not quite as straight as they thought i'd be.

And today like half an hour ago my mom gave me a back to school gift, (highlighters, but pastel and cat themed I love them so much) but inside the bag there was also this little sticker that says "love is love" and guys i am this close to crying rn

I've been trying to work up the courage to ask her if I can buy myself a rainbow pride flag for my room (for like three years lmao) and I feel like I might actually have a tiny bit of courage to do that now???

(I probably won't lol, I'll wait until I move out for that but still. I dont know. I feel like maybe I have a chance? Maybe she'd say I'm allowed to?)

Every single day I realize more new sadder things about Ivan Alien Stage and honestly he's driving me up a wall a little bit. I am not normal about him. Probably the biggest thing is that he's such an unreliable narrator like oh my god it drives me insane. All of the kids are in their own ways but with Ivan, it effects the narrative so much.

Round 6 is from Ivan's perspective largely and it shows. Almost all of the flashbacks are moments when Ivan is trying to get Till's attention, whether that be the fight when they're young or the more recent scene in the dining hall or even the tiny snippet where we see Ivan approach Till from behind and touch him (presumably startling him, Ivan is likely about to tease Till and fluster him), and the loneliness on Ivan's end is palpable. He doesn't care if it's good or bad, he wants a reaction from Till and he does what's necessary to get that. He just wants Till to look at him. He just wants to be wanted by the person he loves more than anything. While he doesn't necessarily get that feeling of being wanted from Till, he can get Till to look at him and when it happens, it seems to make him happy. But at the same time, as much as he wants, Ivan doesn't appear to expect Till to ever reciprocate or even care about him at all, especially after their attempted escape. It probably has to do with the fact that even before that, he didn't seem to have much of a sense of self worth and that's only cemented by Till's "rejection." Ivan tells Sua that she shouldn't sacrifice herself for Mizi while ultimately doing the same thing for Till and it's not necessarily hypocritical because Sua has something to live for whereas Ivan doesn't. Sua shouldn't sacrifice herself for Mizi because she has a chance to be happy something Ivan himself doesn't think he will every get, as her love is reciprocated and his is not. If Sua dies, Mizi will be devastated. If Ivan dies for Till, Till will be fine. Or at least, that seems to be what Ivan thinks.

It makes me so so excited for the next round because we will get to see how Till really feels (I hope) and I am excited for Till's reaction to Mizi's new appearance as well because of the way that he idolises her, especially her appearance from when they were children and seeing her without glasses, without long hair, oooo I am eager to see it
