Hihi! Me again lmao :d
For Remnant Miu, which part of her personality would you play on? The more brash, aggressive (and sometimes overly confident) one, or her meeker, somewhat submissive(?) one? Or would you just give her a whole new personality altogether?
Hi again :D
So I think if she had the more meek personality all the time it might get sort of boring? That’s maybe not the right word, but like, I think Miu needs to be a more active player. She’ll be filling Kazuichi’s role by being the one to create all the weapons of mass destruction and the tech the others need, but I’d want her to also do more herself as well.
I think a combo of both personalities would work best, so like she’s very into all the despair and destruction stuff and very upbeat and confident (definitely party girl vibes), but as soon as Anything starts to not go her way she’s immediately whiny and sad and running to Kiibo for help.
Unlike Kazuichi however, I don’t think Miu would want her inventions to fail. With Kazuichi I think he’d sometimes kinda do sloppy work on purpose so the machines had a bigger chance at failing (and then not only would it break with likely explosive results possibly injuring himself but everyone would know it didn’t work and they’d hate him even more and think he was useless and so it’s just despair on top of despair and- I’m getting distracted lol it’s not about him rn)
But I don’t think Miu would do any of that. She’d be getting her despair from the inventions doing exactly what they were supposed to do, but that’s killing and destruction and decidedly Not helping humanity which is what she always wanted her inventions to do in the first place. Miu knows she’s useful, no one else in her class except Maybe Kiibo could do what she does (and she could always sabotage kiibo if it came down to it) so she can be as obnoxious as she wants and the others won’t do anything about it. She’s too important and she knows it.
That’s not to say she couldn’t get any despair from her inventions malfunctioning and being hurt, she definitely would, but she isn’t seeking that out on purpose.
Tumblr media
So design wise, I doubled down on the straps and buckles from her usual look. They’re a little bit too tight though, and dig into her skin (despair from pain yay), she’s also got a lot of piercings, more than even showed up in the picture just based off pose and clothings (that’s why there’s bumps on her boobs, it’s more piercings. Her ears would have them too). So uh, I kinda gave her a Lot of bruises and scrapes lol (it got out of hand), those are largely Kiibos doing if you know what I mean (she’s still Miu after all lol)
Her hair’s a bit flatter since personal hygiene isn’t really a priority post tragedy (hard to even find shampoos and such, not to mention clean water.) I also changed her colour scheme to be less pinks and blue and more red!
Fun fact, Miu and Kiibo were the ones I’d originally planned out last time I started focusing on this au back when it just existed in my head lol
Oh yeah! And I’m tagging everything for this (so like all the asks and any additional art I’ll be doing) with ‘V3 remnant au’ if anyone wants to go back and see all the stuff!

SPN/Hannibal/Danganronpa RP! (AUs, mainly fantasy, email only!)
hey hey! i’m making the rounds again since i’ve finally broken out of writer’s block. i have some specific cravings that hopefully somebody reading this will share! i’ll try to keep this ad short and not clutter up your dashes and stuff lol
you can call me either Alice or Saya, i don’t mind which. i’m 20, and have been roleplaying since about 10, haha. i like long, detailed para roleplays with arcs and character development, and most of all pairings—although they aren’t necessary, platonic is fine too!
big old smut disclaimer: Some of the characters I am requesting to play/play against are canonically underage, due to being high school students, so I will only play them as 18+. I will only play against other canonically underage characters if you agree to age them up to legal consenting ages as well. I won’t RP smut with a minor. Honestly, I don’t like writing smut to begin with. I prefer to fade to black/glaze over the very vague act of sex. Absolutely nothing graphic. Just… keep it legal. I reserve the right to refuse to do anything that would get me into trouble.
before we get started, here are my basic rules. please know that i won’t compromise on these! if you won’t or can’t do any of these, please skip this ad. thanks!!
I will not write with OCs. Not as a main character, at least. If you really want to message me asking for OC/canon, please describe your character in-depth. Using them for background characters/doubles is totally fine, but I want to roleplay specific canon characters in specific pairings or relationships. This is my biggest concern.
I only use email to roleplay, mostly because I’m used to it and it’s comfortable for me. I won’t RP over a messenger, but I’ll consider a slower alternative, like Google Docs or something.
I have depression/anxiety, ASD, and probably BD. As such, I will have my bad days and my off days, so on. Since writing helps me cope, though, I’ll do my best to reply in a timely manner. If I take a while to respond, feel free to nudge me—I may have forgotten to tell you that I’m not feeling well, or I might be disinterested with the RP. If it’s the latter, I’ll tell you, and try to work something out! I’m very flexible when it comes to this. :>
Please ask me if you want to do something other than what I specify in this ad!! I’m very open-minded and will happily consider new things. As long as we both are enjoying the roleplay, that’s what’s important.
OKAY so with all that over with, here’s what i’m really wanting to write!! i'll try to keep the details short and sweet for the sake of the ad (and the tags), so please feel free to message me for more information!
Hannibal (TV): hannigram. just hannigram in a load of AUs, basically. I mainly play Will, but can also double with Margot, Abigail, Chiyoh, Dolarhyde, and any of the morgue crew! Miscellaneous psychopaths as well, from the series or made up (i.e. OC side characters).
Supernatural: sabriel. please, please write sabriel with me. i’ve been wanting to since I saw Mystery Spot/Changing Channels for the first time like last year, and i have had absolutely no luck. i’d prefer to write Gabriel (the smug s.o.b.) and i can easily double with Dean, Cas, Jo/Ellen, and a bunch of various characters, whoever really! i would also love some destiel as a side plot! i would really prefer AUs instead of canon for SPN but we could work something out :>
Danganronpa: oh boy um. yeah. i’ve only just finished the 3 main games and… i’m in the market for some komahina (however you like it!!) and anything with kokichi honestly. my main is ofc going to be Komaeda, but i’d love to try out either kokichi, kiibo, sonia, maybe hajime, or kaito! i’m very new to the rping scene in this case so please be gentle and all that :> if you’re interested, please message me about which characters you’d like to write! obviously i’d like to play against a hajime, but i’m open to a lot of things! (i don’t even dislike hifumi that much lollll)
Main buzzwords for things I really want to write:
Merfolk/fin-kin (merpeople that are actually adapted to the sea—fins, gills, fangs, claws, etc)
Mythological creatures, such as wendigo, shapeshifters, werewolves, winged people, etc. (works well with spn lol)
any kind of post-apoc! i like zombies, plant takeover, sudden diseases, meteors, probably anything you can think of! (good for DR i figure)
potterverse AUs! message me about it, i love it. (and would also love to rearrange how things work in the canon to be less, uh… weird)
sci-fi, space, and futuristic things!
urban/slice of life/sweet slow-burn relationships!
hopefully that wasn’t too long! i could have gone into a lot more detail, but i gladly will if you message me! please email me or send a message over Discord (which i’ll use for OOC only)! here’s my contact info:
Discord: Saya#7484
hope to hear from someone soon! have a good day :>

Ohh, 6, 9, 11, 19 and 25. For all the games, but if it's too hard to pick, you can have one by game :p
Thank you, Serahne!!! ^ v ^
From here: https://kimmysfandomblog.tumblr.com/post/170470327942/lafumiko-hi-people-i-was-searching-for-a-good
Spoilers for V3, so these are under the cut!
6. Favorite plot twist?
DR1: Gosh, it’s a tie between Sayaka being the one killed and even planning to kill to escape the game and Naegi escaping execution!!! Bot of them realy threw me for a loop! I will say that discovering Sayaka was murdered left the greater impact, though, and was the reason I stuck to Danganronpa early on. It blew my mind at the time!
DR2: Hajime being Izuru/the “mastermind” was the most shocking thing to me! I really wasn’t expecting that??? I really came to love Hajime a lot by this point, and was feeling incredibly sorry for him already. When we were exploring the school for the last trial’s investigation and the Hope Cultivation Plan came up, I kinda figured it out. I don’t think I connected the dots completely though, ahaha. Also, just the fact that all of them were evil and responsible for spreading Despair worldwide was such a great plot twist, in my opinion!
DRAE: There weren’t many plot twists in this game, but I guess the most shocking was that Monaca was not an invalid. Like, she was pretty obviously the one running the show, and she was obsessed with Junko, but her faking being handicapped to control both her family and friends for sympathy and to get what she wanted was a genius plan on her part!
V3: I honestly didn’t like them all that much, especially Kaede not being the protag. The ending one where Tsumugi reveals everything is a lie (literally) wasn’t bad or good in my opinion. Like, I wasn’t necessarily disappointed by the ending like I thought I would be (that one was spoiled even before the game released in Japan because I couldn’t blacklist on PC and thought going through Hajime’s tag would be okay :( Damn you, dataminers!!!), I kinda just accepted that this was it. Also the trio being alive was not an exciting plot twist in the least (I love you Himiko and Maki, but your survival kinda makes me go ehhh with how the game ended). I guess that only leaves Kaito being ill and dying before his execution killed him as my favorite! I really liked how that last execution (not counting Danganronpa’s execution) was the reverse of the very first execution we see (Jin Kirigiri’s), and I already loved Kaito. It was nice that Kaito’s final goodbye was a middle finger to Danganronpa’s theme of killing the blackened with an over-the-top execution!
9. Favorite Ultimate Talent?
These are all very tough decisions…
DR1: Ultimate Biker Gang Leader! I honestly would never expect such a talent to exist, and I gotta wonder how HPA was able to gather data for that talent, hahaha. It helps that I found Mondo endearing even if he swears a bit and reacts with violence. He hast a golden heart full of regrets, and I liked his backstory! Also the talent itself is just… really cool.
DR2: Ok, so this is kinda weird, but Ultimate Lucky Student. Makoto was a totally different kind of Ultimate Lucky Student than Komaeda’s, where all-in-all he is an average guy and his luck only affects him sometimes. While that is an interesting talent, it’s not as interesting as Komaeda’s. Komaeda is probably the truest definition of Ultimate Luckster! His luck is tragic. It takes away any personal relationships and turns it into materialistic fortune. It is so powerful it warped Komaeda and his view of the world drastically. Gosh, it is very interesting and gets me wondering what could possibly happen around Komaeda because of his luck in different situations and with different people. Truly, a fascinating talent that I wouldn’t bestow on anyone!
DRAE: There were only a few people with an Ultimate Talent here, haha. I liked that Kotoko was the Ultimate Li’l Drama who actually will not perform for anyone (understandably) and the Fighter of the Group! If that counts, haha. Otherwise we only have Byakuya, Fukawa/Syo, Makoto, and Komaeda (and technically Izuru but he is on the screen for, like, 5 seconds and has every talent, so that would be boring anyways). If I had to choose between the four talents without Komaeda repeated, I think the most interesting would be Syo’s Ultimate Murderous Fiend! It’s really interesting to me that she’s a split personality of Toko. I kinda have to wonder how Toko can get exhausted easily, but Syo can slash and dash, even hurling herself several feet in the air, without breaking a sweat!
V3: It is a tie between Ultimate Anthropolgist and Ultimate Mage Magician! Unlike with the previous installments of the series, I was able to just see the talents before knowing the characters, though, so Ultimate Magician was the one that really caught my eye since I’m obsessed with Fantasy AUs, especially of the RPG kind with that class system! I’ve also always been really fasinated by Magic and magicians in general, haha. After playing the game, though, Kiyo really sold me on the Ultimate Anthropologist talent! I was a Cognitive Science major in the school within the university that focuses on the humanities, so not only am I very interested in human cognitive thinking as individuals and as a group, but I took a lot of history and some anthropology courses. I really nerded out with Kiyo and Shuichi during those FTEs! History/Folklore is truly fascinating!
11. A character you’d revive?
Alright, this is a tough one for some of these because most of the ones I liked who died died “well,” as in their story was finished and satisfying. I’d surely love to see them alive again, true, but if we are going by canon and I could only bring back one, then it almost feels cheap. Kinda like “DR3 cheap.” That makes most of these characters not my favorites, but ones i felt deserve a second chance/should have survived.
DR1: Ishimaru. He isn’t my favorite character (I’m honestly gonna place him in the “he’s ok!” range), but he clearly didn’t have any satisfying development. You can’t get FTEs from his Kiyondo form, and he dies having done very little as Kiyondo other then some inconvenience regarding Alter Ego! It would probably be super interesting to see what he would do in later chapters, and if he ever snaps out of it in the chapters after.
DR2 (assuming the DR3 anime never happened): Saionji died for nothing, let’s be real here, lol. She was just barely going to reform herself and become a better person, and then she dies, offscreen, on accident. A friend also helped me realize that we never come across her murder weapon. I think that what would have been the best solution was not having a double murder. Plus, it would make it interesting to see whether she is able to forgive Kuzuryuu at all or not, how that affects the groups trust in each other in later parts of the game (since it is really hard to get close to her since she doesn’t trust people easily), and especially her reaction to being Ultimate Despair, as well as her growth spurt.
DRAE: Chihiro’s dad Taichi. He and Yuta died for shock, but how sad would it be if he was alive and found out his son was killed? And that his son’s legacy, Alter Ego, survived? Man, what a tragedy! It would have been nice to see him tag along with Toko and Komaru to the adult’s base and maybe try to hack into devices, or slowly give upgrades to Komaru making her life a little easier. He could also join Togami and leave Towa City.  He’d be an incredible asset to Future Foundation, but he would either refuse out of grief, or he’d take time to warm up to the idea, before accepting and becoming the head of any project regarding the Neo World Program/Alter Ego Chihiro, working closely with Miaya, and keeping close to those who had been Chihiro’s friends.
V3: hmmmm, this one I don’t know for sure. It’s between Hoshi, Miu, Kiibo, and… this may surprise you, but Angie as well.
*** Angie Negativity, you can skip it ***
I hate Angie, but she honestly needs the story development. She got the most abrupt ending, another offscreen death, and no resolution. Honestly speaking, if she had a better story and some form of redemption/questioning of her actions, I would like her a lot more. She just never learned that what she did was wrong, and unlike in her FTEs, telling her “no” made her stick more to her own opinion. Like, initially I didn’t like Celeste in CH3, but I actually grew to like her because she had that backstory that made her want to be more than she was, and she anyways accepted her death in the end without being spiteful and ruining the secret of Alter Ego, even giving the others a hint of where she kept him. She was leagues a better character than Angie. Angie, I was starting to kinda accept her after finishing her FTEs when I was still in CH2 (even if I hate the racial stereotypes, what with orgies, sacrifices, etc). She really made me mad when she refused to listen to anyone else and manipulated others to agree with her (I have an extremely soft spot for Himiko and Gonta, so my bias didn’t help her at all). I’ll give her that she’s really sly and a lot smarter than she tries to let on, but  her cutesy personality combined with manipulation to convert to a religion, suggested by light brainwashing using her paintings (and the fact the others were converted overnight), all so that she can get whatever she wants, and then not seeing any kind of downfall: no backlash or consequences because of what she did? It makes me mad. I’m sorry. I hate her and yet, she is one of the people I’d revive, hahaha. Geez, I honestly tried to like her despite my initial feelings I would dislike her, lol.
*** End of Angie Negativity ***
Kiibo dying while the other three survived is something that rubs me the wrong way since he almost never got respect until he was destroying the school, even when he was one of the few character that were actually helpful during the trials. Honestly, if the others survived, which, given the ending, was kinda pointless, then him surviving as well wouldn’t detract from the impact. Seriously, if anyone deserved to survive, it would be him or Maki.
As for Miu, her death felt like a cop out, for some reason. I can’t explain it exactly… I know that her being killed was because they needed her to go after Kokichi, so that they could get him to trick Gonta to kill her, but it feels wrong somehow? Like there was unfinished business? She had the electrohammers, electrobombs, a remote control, and a bug catcher, her more amazing inventions, made after her death. All her upgrades to Kiibo were very useful, but not as amazing. A drone and the camera set up are really simple, too. Her working with Kokichi on these amazing inventions feels like a plothole instead of plausible. It would be really nice to see her survive since, despite being vulgar, she’s really entertaining! And I wonder how she’d react to being told she wasn’t real, nor was she actually a genius inventor.
And I can’t forget Hoshi! He died horribly for no reason. Kirumi could have bashed him in the head with a tennis racket, or against the wall or something, after she knocked him out. There was no need to pin the blame on anyone. The second trial p*ssed me off so much because it was unnecessarily convoluted and cruel for no reason and anyways made no sense. My heart truly goes out for Hoshi. He had a horrible life! He was imprisoned for killing the Mafiai, was a true hero, and I wish he could have learned that he could find something to live for.
So yeah, V3 was the hardest for me this question, hahaha. I honestly can’t choose between these four. BIG SIGH
If this was bot the answer you were hoping for and you just wanted to get a list of my faves who dued, it would go like this: Sakura, Komaeda, Taichi, and Kaito! Priority goes to Sakura since Ko lives post-canon, hahaha
19. Favorite Free Time Events
DR1: Alright, honestly I need to actually play this game myself. I’ve only seen LPs of the game, and the anime does not have FTEs. The only FTEs I recall are Sayaka’s, Chihiro’s, Ishimaru’s, Kyoko’s, Sakura’s, and Asahina’s. I don’t think I can really say which is my favorite, but I really like Sakura’s and Kyoko’s. I just… can’t remember most of their backstories ^^
DR2: DR2 had too many good FTEs. Komaeda’s are probably the ones I liked the most, though? I didn’t care much for Komaeda initially. He was an interesting character, and I didn’t hate him (I was very neutral). I felt like there was more to him, so when I played the game myself after abandoning the LP I was watching, I went after him first and it changed my mind completely! I like it when a character’s background is explained and matches consequences and actions the character makes during the main story, and DR2 did this really well for my taste. Komaeda’s helped explain everything and made him a sympathetic character and helped me to understand him. Of course, it also sparked the Koma/Hina shipping, hahaha. If I had to come up with a runner up, it would be Souda’s for a similar reason! His also ties really well to the main story, especially with not being able to finish his FTEs until like after CH4, after he is done doubting Hajime.
V3: I’m stuck between Kiyo and Maki’s. Kiyo’s had more of an impact on me, though, because it flipped my initial suspicion I would hate him. Him being fascinated with anthropology and teaching Shuichi about it made me seriously love him as a character even though I was sure at the time I would hate him since I was spoiled about the incest plot twist. Maki’s was really well explained and tied nicely to the game’s story. She is kinda like Komaeda, in a way, hahaha. She had a tragic backstory because of her talent, been through hell, lost someone very precious to her, and her talent makes her actively try to avoid people and trust them. And, like I said before, I like FTEs that help explain why a character reacts the way they do (although in her case, a small part of her FTEs do land up in the main story, so I say they were slightly less effective, but tied better to the story)
DRAE doesn’t have FTEs, but there are explained backstories of the kids, and I loved Nagisa. His was the most relatable, with all of that pressure to succeed, never feeling good enough.
25. Saddest Death
DR1: 100% Sakura’s!!! She’s a real gem of a character, and I wish Danganronpa had more female characters that were like her! Anyways, she was so interesting, and not just for how she looks or her talent, but that she was the traitor torn by family duty and her loyalty to her friends. She thought that the best way to end this killing game was by sacrificing herself so that the group would not be split. She was so selfless and loved so much, yet she was treated horribly in her last hours because Monokuma made sure to make her as disliked as possible. And then he spits on her death further by stealing her last letter and will so he could use Hina to make the trial more interesting. My heart goes out to her more than anyone in DR1.
DR2: My gut instinct was to say “Komaeda” or “Nanami”, but truth be told, CH2 wrecked me! Peko’s execution really got to me because, firstly, I never suspected her, and secondly, her backstory with Fuyuhiko and the fact she killed and died to save him made the execution 10 times worse to endure! I hadn’t seen her FTE’s all the way through the first time, but I saw most of them and while she hadn’t been a favorite, she had a cute personality! I really did like her!. What made her death worse was Fuyuhiko’s reaction and him trying to intervene. I’m getting shills remembering it ^^;
DRAE: Most probably Taichi! Though it is hard to choose between him and Yuta, Taichi’s was the one that was most tragic, because up to his dying breath he was so excited to be able to have the chance to meet his son again. I mean, even if he did survive, his son would still be dead, but somehow it just felt worse than Yuta’s since we seemed to get to know Taichi better (he worked at Towa for the company, we talked to him more and his love for his son).
V3: Another hard one, and it is between Kaede, Hoshi, and Gonta… I feel like none of these three should have died, or at least for Gonta and Hoshi, not the way that they did. Gonta’s was the one I felt the most emotional over leading up to his death because of the present feeling of how Kokichi betrayed him and the feeling of how it wasn’t even his fault, really. Kaede’s I felt the angriest at because she was 100 times a better protag than Shuichi and I loved her. It doesn’t help that her death was especially tragic and her execution was gruesome (not that Gonta’s wasn’t gruesome, but it was too weird for me to feel much). Hoshi’s I felt the saddest over during the trial because of just how not-fair this was. I don’t even hate Kirumi, I really hate the writers for the trial because of all the pointless and illogical parts of the case and how Hoshi was murdered, but I ranted enough about it.

Name: Tsumugi Shirogane
Nicknames: plain. by herself,
Orientation: i consider her aromantic bisexual. probably
Preferred pet names: ?????
Relationship status: with her junko body pillow single
Favorite canon ship: i think any shirogane canon ship would be uh. bad. and unhealthy all things considered so sdkfnsldf shirogane x her junko body pillow which very much exists
A quick note on shipping: as said i think any ship with shirogane would be unhealthy and the only way i’d accept them is, uh. if they’re explicitly bad? like the pictures of shirogane being really weird and evil with a person are… good. like that one of like, her and ouma hiding knives behind their backs and smiling at each other. ( hesitantly makes an :ok_hand: ) there’s this one ouma and shirogane artist on twitter who draws them together according to their little rivalry thing they have going on and it’s, Good Shit. so uhh, stuff like that
but for shirogane herself i think romantically she’s not interested at all. something i feel that’s pretty key to shirogane and a big thing that separates her from junko is her whole and complete lack of attachment to her classmates. everything is very clearly simply fiction to her— she sees her classmates simply as vessels for amusement— for both herself and her audience— and as a means to an end, said end being mass entertainment.
lack of attachment is important, i think. after all— they’re just fictional, right? and as shirogane says herself— fiction doesn’t have the power to change the world. entertainment is simply there for consumption, to be admired but never directly participated in. it’s entertainment in observation, not participation— shirogane’s philosophy regarding this reflects heavily in the way she masterminds her game, after all. she’s a participant, yes, but only by requirement. by the fact that there needs to be someone on the inside to manage the game. she is not an active participant, however; you may argue that this is because of her “job” as mastermind, but i feel it’s a personal decision completely of her own autonomy, because if she was really trying to be just like junko, then wouldn’t she have made a more active decision to befriend and foster friendships with her classmates?
if she really was thirsty for the kind of despair junko was obsessed with, then she would’ve made it a point to reach out and create friendships, relationships, to feast on the despair of having to abandon them and revealing herself as the mastermind— not kept a distance from everyone and simply played a rather obvious role of “tsukkomi” and observing everything almost passively, contributing only when necessary and to gently nudge the game along where she wants it to ( i.e. her comments after all the flashback lights, early ch5 with her comments on ouma’s actions ch4 trial ), but otherwise essentially being the only character by the time ch6 rolls around to have not done anything significant / had any important relationship with anyone whatsoever. saihara had momota and akamatsu, yumeno had tenko, harukawa had momota, and even kiibo had iruma.
while you could argue that kiibo’s relationship with iruma didn’t even get close to the tragedy that the three survivors had with their own, shirogane absolutely had none. even ouma and momota, who died in ch5, had their little petty rivalry going on with each other, as displayed rather heavily in the ch4 trial, and contributed incredibly to the games theme— so shirogane is the only one in the latter acts of the game who hasn’t… done anything, whether on her own or with anyone.
and it’s not like hagakure’s case in dr1; this decision is completely conscious and deliberate on her part. she’s not interacting with her classmates because she’s socially awkward or anything; she doesn’t because she sees them simply as fiction, as vessels of entertainment for herself and the masses and absolutely nothing more. she doesn’t see them as worthy of maintaining any kind of real relationship with because they’re not real, and i feel, to an extent, that may go for relationships with “normal” people as well.
i guess i just see shirogane as simply just… an observer? someone who doesn’t want to commit. commitment takes energy and time and real, genuine attachment; relationships force you out of an observer role, an outside role, and makes you engage. makes you become vulnerable. it demands energy, vulnerability— all of which shirogane actively refuses to do. she prefers an observer role, to look at things from the outside, to not participate but simply observe, contemplate; she likes entertainment, she loves attention, but too much of it requires a vulnerability and an honesty she’s not willing to put in at all.
Opinion on true love: lol fiction
Opinion on love at first sight: lol fiction
How ‘romantic’ are they: i bet she can play that kind of part but the genuineness of it would be, uh. nonexistent
ideal physical traits: i’m saying these off the top of my head but i’d imagine her liking people shorter than she is
ideal personality traits: not necessarily in the way that “oh i’d maybe consider being in a relationship with them” but more in a “oh that’s cute i’d like to hang out with them more because their personality is amusing” but like. i feel. people like saihara. ksdfnkLSF cute and flustered easily
Unattractive physical traits: again, off the top of my head but i don’t think she’d like having to look up at a person
Unattractive personality traits: ouma assholes. people who are good at looking through her ...ouma
ideal date: she gets to talk for hours on end about her interests
Do they have a type?: junko enoshima
Average relationship length: lmao
preferred nonsexual intimacy: c...cosplay
Commitment level: LMAO
Opinion of public affection: ???? sure
Past relationships: LMAO….

obviously, V3 spoilers for the last one!
Nae/giri (+)
So, funny thing about me: I actually started DR with the Animation (I hadn’t even known a game existed at the time). Anyways, because it’s an anime, you don’t get those free time events, and everything is much, much faster. Basically…. I’m a real dunce when it comes to romance, so I hadn’t even realized Nae/giri was pretty heavily hinted at ^^; I spent most of the time thinking Kirigiri was gonna betray Naegi (which… I mean I wasn’t completely wrong, kinda? XD She didn’t mean to throw him under the bus at all, of course).
Now, I didn’t ship anyone in DR by the time I finished the anime. I’d seen it mostly as friendships, and that Naegi and Kirigiri’s was the strongest one. I don’t know when exactly it sprung on me that, hey, this is a ship!!!, but my best guess is that it wasn’t until I stumbled across DR again when it came out on Steam. A let’s player I kind of visit occasionally was playing the game and I got sucked into nostalgia, and he did Kirigiri’s FTEs. It was probably during that time that I recognized this was definitely a ship, one that was practically canon, and that actually, I’m okay with it, and even like it! If two characters like each other, and can support each other this well, then why not?
I’m not the biggest Naeg/iri fan (that spot for favorite DR1 ship belongs to another pairing, but admittedly it’s more of a pre-canon ship). I’ll admit, a part of me still thinks Naegi forgives Kirigiri too easily after all he’d been through, but if he gave her a hard time, he wouldn’t be Naegi! And I was a little salty she threw him under the bus, but Kirigiri made a mistake, acknowledges it, and even returns the favor back to him! It wasn’t even really her fault (she clearly didn’t know what would happen or she would have definitely let herself be sacrificed), so I forgive her, too!
If DR3 proved anything about Naeg/iri, it’s that Naegi and Kirigiri very clearly care for one another, and are able to balance each other out. They understand each other so well, and I’d say they definitely like, probably even love, each other. So, given canon events throughout the series, I ship it! It’s been good for both of them, the way I see it! I sincerely hope they continue to care and love each other post canon, too. They both deserve happiness after all they’ve been through together!
Kamu/Koma (-)
Okay, this one… this one actually irks me, I’m sorry to say. I know Kamukura is Hinata, and I definitely ship Koma/Hina, but Kamu/Koma…. it’s very different. I’ve read Kamu/Koma fics, and seen the fanart, (and sometimes I actually like the fanwork). I get why people like it. However, to me, it’s a very unbalanced ship.
Ko’s obsession with Hope and Talent, with Kamukura being the embodiment of Talent, and of the Hope Ko originally fixates on, makes it much too unbalanced because Kamukura is given all the power in this relationship. Not only that, but it would be Ko constantly trying to be useful to Kamukura, or trying to make things interesting for Kamukura. And Kamukura, well, I can’t see him reciprocating or giving back much. Kamukura’s kinda weird, as in he’s pretty selfish in a way. Maybe he’d do things back for Ko, but would he mean it? Would Ko even know if Kamukura cared? It doesn’t help that the majority of the fanworks don’t really do anything to disprove how I feel their relationship would work. People write/draw fanart for Kamu/Koma using this power play: Ko revering Kamukura like a god, doing demeaning things for him, or being like his housewife or maid or something, and Kamukura kind of staring blankly back, or barely reciprocating or acknowledging any of it. It’s also portrayed very sexually (?), with no amount of fluff, and I end up feeling sorry for Ko. I really can’t ship something this one-sided where only one person has affection for the other, or at the very least, where it’s difficult to see how affectionate one is for the other.
And, I suppose, another thing is just the fact that I like Haji way more than Kamukura. Sometimes Kamu/Koma shippers portray Haji as the one losing out, the third wheel left behind, or even saying Kamukura should have fully returned. I’m glad, in the end, Haji is seemingly acting like he’s mostly Haji to his friends.
However, I admit that besides how I see the Kamu/Koma dynamic playing out… the really extreme shippers were the reason I can’t stand it most of the time. More than a year ago now, there was this huge shipping war, and at least to me, with the people I was following at the time, it seemed like it was mostly between extreme Kamu/Koma shippers against the extreme Hina/Nami shippers. The sheer hatred and pride at being so hateful disgusted me. I unfollowed a few people that I used to like because of all these scathing remarks against Nami (by that I mean DR2 Nami) and basically mocking the fans for liking and defending her, and then being proud of it, even celebrating it in a congratulating post to themselves. I mean, I know now it was aimed at the Nami lovers that were just as bad as they were being, but it still hurts either way. I wasn’t following anyone that was strictly Hina/Nami at the time, but I did see a lot of Ko discourse flying around, too (and heavily disagreed with them of course). Even after that, people were tagging their hate for Nami and Ko, and the ships. I couldn’t escape it. Maybe I’m over-imagining it, but that’s how I feel about it. I’m glad it’s settled down now that V3 is mostly distracting people from it these days.
As for how I feel about Kamu/Koma today, sometimes seeing Kamu/Koma (or Hina/Nami) makes me cringe, and other times, I find it okay (though it’s mostly the former. I always felt weird about Kamu/Koma because of the power dynamic).
Unrelated: Weirdly enough, even though I don’t like Hina/Nami, I ended up liking Kamu/Nami, but only because AI Kamukura exists ^^; I actually participated in Kamu/Nami week, too, and… yeah I actually like it. My guilty pleasure ship, lol. Just... not so much for Hina/Nami. DR3 Hina/Nami was that bad.
Sorry that answer was very negative, but brutal honesty right? I know I have followers that ship it, and I don’t really mind as long as no one is trying to force me to like it or see it!
Toko/maru (+)
Well, I didn’t like Another Episode as a whole that much, but I did like the interactions between Toko and Komaru a lot. Their friendship was just so good! They were able to help each other, see the faults in each other, and call them out. Komaru helps Toko learn to trust her through her genuine kindness and loyalty, and Toko helps Komaru find solutions and helps break Komaru’s habit of seeing herself as just a normal girl with no way to change what happens around her.
And the ending, where Toko decides to stay with Komaru instead of leaving with Togami? It makes me feel a lot of joy, honestly. Nothing against ToFu, but her choosing Komaru over Togami was great! Like, from what I remember of her FTE’s Toko has had trouble trusting people. Neither of her moms wanted her, and she was even dated as a part of a dare. Her moms and that boy both treated her nicely, but they actually didn’t like her (actually I wonder about the moms, but I’ll have to revisit those FTEs eventually). The reason she is so infatuated with Togami probably has to do with how rudely he treats her, on top of being the SHSL Heir. If he got with her, it would be like a romance novel come to life, and he wouldn’t be pretending to like her. However, it’s unrealistic the way it is in canon. Togami may be getting better, but at least at the point canon left off, he still needs some work.
I’m very glad Toko has Komaru. Komaru treats her normally instead of being scared off or angry at Toko’s accusations and jokes, and she openly shows how much she cares about Toko. I can see Tokomaru both as a strong friendship, or a future romantic relationship, given time. And, based on the one DR3 episode, it seems like their bond has done nothing but grow! They trust in each other and work really well together. May they remain this close or more post-canon!
Kii/ruma (+)
I don’t know if anyone was expecting this to be appealing? I usually don’t like the characters that spew vulgarities, so I thought I’d never like Miu. I was so wrong! And, knowing what I did, I never thought I’d ship her with Kiibo, who’s just… so pure??? I remember, back when I was trying to avoid spoilers, that one CG where Miu was apparently performing maintenance came up, and I totally misjudged it.
However, this game… it subverted my expectations. The CG was not as uncomfortable as I thought! Miu got a bit too close, and I’m 99% sure she knew what she was saying and how it could sound, and Kiibo just came for maintenance, and he doesn’t really get the double meanings to her words, but somehow ends up saying things that could be suggestive too XD It was so funny! I honestly thought, upon getting spoiled that CG before playing, that he wasn’t consenting to whatever was going on, but while I can’t say it was “innocent,” it was clearly not that bad. And after that, Miu is introduced to the Neo World Program and Kiibo gets jealous of the computer XD To try to get the most out of my V3 experience, I actually went up to every character each FT to get their “FTE starter,” so I know he’s always been either in the hall right before the computer room, or (not much farther away from there) next to the three empty rooms. I’m pretty sure the first FTE of that chapter, he even gets defensive over his not-jealousy of a computer, lol!!! There was also that part in Chapter 4, before going to the Virtual World, Monotaro calls Kiibo “Daddy” and Miu “Mommy” XD and even after her death, he was so sad he wished he could cry for her, which just punches me in the feels… and from what I remember in Trial 4, Kiibo was pretty much trying to defend her as the others pretty much admitted to not caring that much about her? I’d need to replay that trial, but that’s what I took from it in regards to Miu. Also, I guess another reason I like it is because Ouma bullies both of them, so they are similar in that regard haha.
I guess, maybe as the sole complaint, I wonder how Miu felt about Kiibo? I mean, clearly, she was interested in him because he’s a robot, but I wonder how she felt about Kiibo as a person? I think she respected Kiibo, but I can’t gauge how much she liked him from what I remember of the game. She was certainly proud and happy to give him upgrades, and Kiibo doesn’t seem to mind so much when she does, even though he hates sci-fi things, or generally any reminder he’s not as human as he’d like to be. She always kept her upgrades rather simple, and he was always so proud to have them! Maybe she wanted to add all that fancy gear from his Ultimate Lab, but didn’t push him when he said no. Maybe that’s why he was fond of her?
Kii/ruma’s a really cute ship to me! It’s probably more funny, than cute (but the fanart is so very cute...), but either way, I still really like it! And well, it’s about one of the only ships I care about in V3 as well, hahaha. It didn’t seem forced, I didn’t really feel like it was necessarily one-sided, and their dynamic was great and interesting!!! I should really check out those anthologies sometime to see if there’s any more Kii/ruma in it, hahaha.
