Danny finding jason as soon as he comes to Gotham but before redhood arch. Jason being too occupied with this kid who floated through his wall and threw several thousand dollars at him.

"Pretend to be my older brother so the weird rich people who want to adopt me don't find out about my ummmmm concerning but loving family situation."

So just Jason be like accepting the job because wtf is this kid in danger at home or from the weird rich people.

"OH warning I look like one of the rich people's dead son and him and all his adopted kids are terrified ill die a second time soooooo you have about five minutes to decide before they find us." Danny promptly changes forms and "pretends" to be asleep oh his lap. Jason really hopes he's pretending.

Jason blue screens as Nightwing enters his apartment "Danny are you okay? Were are- oh oh were you electric- wait we aren't supposed to ask that. Sorry. Ummm we are working on a lab for Danny but we weren't aware he had family *looks around* visiting? So I'm not sure if we have enough for both of you. It might take a few days."

Jason blue screens "yeah I just got here and I'm legally dead so this is the best I could get. Hopefully I can get it fixed up for my little bro" yeah Danny is his now.

Nightwing makes a face. "I'm glad he has family at least now we know he's not sleeping in a dumpster anymore"

Jason international screaming "he did what?!?"

"He memorized the garbage schedule and slept in empty dumpsters for a while."

"He told me he was staying with a friend. Ugh I'll talk with him when he wake up" Jason says face-palming.

"What should we call you? Do you have two names like Danny" Nightwing asks.

"Jay and hood" jason stays because clearly this kid is a vigilante too and he couldn't come up with anything better at the moment.

"Okay okay so warning if any of the vigilantes start histarically sobbing opon seeing you its perfectly normal you look even more like him than your brother. And get as far away as possible if you see a clown while I'm sure you can handle it the thing keeps coming back to life more twisted each time so it's best to capture it and pray." Nightwing is shaking and jason wonders if the mask has been redesigned to keep it from showing if he's crying.

"Got it creepy clown no go even before" Jason nods. He'll look into the keeps coming back to life thing later.

"Yeah Danny flips out over normal clowns too doesn't he? There's a Gotham wide ban on clowns. I'm gonna head out and let the others know Danny is crashing with his brother now. Will you be joining us on potral with Danny?"

"Yeah gotta get me a new suit first tho." Well it's a good way to collect information at least.

With that Nightwing is gone.

"Kid what did you do?" Jason pauses there's no green in his vision. Normal in the dark it's at least tented.

When he wakes up the next day he finds a note on his table and no kid in his lap.

Sorry about yesterday will explain better tonight. Had to go deal the Fruitloop villain that's trying to adopt me.

At least he'll be able to askthe kid question later. For now he'll look into some of the stuff Nightwing said last night.

The Joker really did get killed multiple times.

Every member of his adopted family had killed him at some point.

This didn't make any sense. Plus his new brother was a Ghost? But clearly not? And there's a new Robin but why didn't that feel right either. He looked so familiar. Did he know the new Robin?

As he stood outside his safe house door he heard two voices.

"Dick you can't break into people's homes regardless-" a familiar voice

"They had two cans of beans and mtd. The kid can't survive on that becides it's better us than Bruce or Alfred" Okay so it's Dick and someone else. And apparently they are judging his eating habits.

"I understand buying food but shouldn't you at least ask them before " He must have made a jester to something. Did Dick buy him and his baybrother food?

"That would give them the chance to say no. Tim. It's our second chance however odd it is and I'm going to pamper them." Dick says.

Tim? Timmy? Timmers? No none of them sounded right.

"Dick. . . we should get them a Hulu or Netflix subscription" Tim says. Dick snorts.

Jason decides to open the door then.

Oh it's baby stalker. Not so baby any more. Both men look over. The entire apartment has been cleaned and there's new furniture.

Tim tears up.

"You cleaned my apartment?" Jason asks.

"Bruce wanted to move you to a penthouse." Dick shrugs.

"He insisted we give you a card incase you need anything" Tim states handing him a Honorary Wayne Credit Card. Jason briefly wonders how they got that made into a real thing.

"Also there's two stealth suits in your room just in case" Tim states.

The two get back to work putting up groceries. Jason would be mad but the king size bed is really comfy and for some reason he's absolutely exhausted.

How do you think the conversation with buck/chris is gonna go? I’m not that excited about the possibility of chris getting mad at buck being all ”you were supposed to protect him! I hate you!!” I know that would break buck. First of all, let me say that I agree with your assessment re: Buck crying after telling Christopher the bad news. I've seen the take floating around about Buck crying beforehand and having to pull himself together, but that leaves me with so many questions, honestly - the main one being HOW DID HE GET IN THERE? DID HE USE A KEY? WHY WOULD HE GO INTO CHRISTOPHER'S ROOM? My opinion as of this moment is that Buck is going to visit Christopher after cleaning himself up and probably be met by Carla at the door? (Unless Tim really wants to fuck with us and have Abuela already there because she knows...) Then, Chris is gonna be all "Hey, Buck!", his typical sunshine self. Buck forces a smile because it's Christopher. I've had it in my head that Chris will ask "Where's Dad?" calmly at first. Doesn't think anything weird is going on. But when Buck fails to answer him (because how the fuck does he explain this to a kid? And it's not just any kid. This is Eddie's kid. This is Buck's kid.) he asks again, with a bit more concern. Buck has to keep his composure, "Your dad's not coming home tonight." There's two ways they can go with this, and I guess it depends on what Buck knows about Eddie's status by that point? Either Buck tells Chris that his dad was hurt at work, but the doctors are helping him and he'll be back home as soon as possible, OR Buck has to be more specific with the details, has to tell Chris something bad happened to Eddie and the doctors are working very hard to bring him back to Chris. I cannot picture Chris yelling at Buck? I know that's just a fandom theory right now, but I'm just... Christopher Diaz? Yelling at His Buck? Nah. We can't have that. I can see Chris asking Buck "You're not going anywhere, right?" as a nod to Buck's words for Chris in 4.08. I *think* that whoever's in the house with them will have Christopher leave the room for a moment. Who knows. Maybe Buck's phone rings. Maybe they know Buck needs a minute to himself. Then he breaks down because he's finally being hit with the realization that he... nearly lost Eddie? Might still lose Eddie? (Again, depends on what Buck has been told once the scene occurs.) I will end up being wrong about 99.9% of the way their interaction plays out, and that's okay because I will be a sobbing mess on the floor regardless! The Buckley-Diaz boys have a hold on my heart.

Crafty Batkids

Literally. Just batkids doin' crafts. As someone who does..... way too many crafts to list here (I'll send a list if asked but just trust me) I feel like I've gotten a good feel for this.

Dick

My man grew up in a circus, regularly checking ropes and tensions....

Macrame. He's a pro at macrame. Maybe he doesn't do it often, but like. For his friends, he'll sometimes surprise them with lil gifts.

When any of his Titans buds move he makes them those fancy hanging macrame plant holders. Donna and Kori both love them, and have been known to fight over them during white elephant/dirty Santa type gift games.

Probably doesn't have the ability to sit still for long periods of time, so can't do anything that'll unravel if he puts it down. It takes him a long time to finish a project, so he really only buys materials as he starts a new one, and doesn't have any excess stuff lying around his apartment.

Jason

You cannot tell me he doesn't crochet to unwind. Like. Idk if he's any good at it, but he def angry crochets.

Probably has been working on one scarf for like five years

Never has consistent stitches

Likes touching all the yarns at the store

Probably just enjoys squishing the yarn in general tbh. It's slightly more satisfying than ever actually doing anything with the yarn.

Cass

One time Bruce took her to like. Silver Dollar City or somewhere else that had someone with a loom, and she was fascinated. She made him buy her a shawl and then made Tim put together a power point about why she should have a loom.

Bruce ended up caving and buying her one that's skinnier, for like table runners. It's great, because she's mostly fascinated with making gradients in her weaves.

She learned Swedish Weaving (it's a like an embroidery/weaving hybrid) so she could embellish her works.

Mostly gives them out as gifts. She gave one to Selina, who guards it possessively. Harley tried to borrow it once and about lost her fingers.

Probably also learned to make little tassles for the ends

Tim

Attention to detail? Obsession over the minutia? Oh. You know my boy is an epoxy resin artist.

Has a crafting station in his room that's meticulously organized. There's cubbies for pigments, flowers, glitters, bits of ribbons and strings, etc etc

Probably makes all kinds of thing tbh. Phone cases, trinkets, you name it. But pens are his favorites, because they're both simple and practical. There's like a whole army of pens that just... keeps growing in Titans Tower because he always forgets where he's put his.

None of his teammates realize he is the source of the pens. They (Kon, Cassie, Bart) just think the pens are an infestations and/or are pairing up and making baby pens. But Cassie and Bart love them bc ✨aesthetics✨

Probably has a tik tok or an insta where he posts videos of himself de-molding things to soothing lofi tracks. Literally just. All the vibes. It's gorgeous.

Steph

Also all the vibes. She is a bujo/stationary queen.

Her collection is much messier than Tim's, but has a surprising amount of overlap. Sometimes they borrow things from each other, and have collabed on their social accounts (he makes journal covers, she makes them into notebooks, he supplies her with pens, she uses them when making a weekly/monthly set up, etc)

Duke

For some reason I don't peg him as being as craft-oriented as his closest-in-age sibs? He probably has less expensive coping mechanisms tbh

That being said I can see he would enjoy those stores where you go in and paint pottery and they kiln/glaze it for you? Like he isn't into sculpting it himself, but painting the little kitchenware pieces or statuettes is relaxing.

He paints mugs for all his sibs on their birthdays, and for Alfred.

Alfred probably has a whole army of custom mugs made for him by the kids, now that I'm thinking about it. Like half of them are from Duke, because he doesn't know what else to do with them. There are just so many because it's so simple.....

Kate Kane, Tatsu Yamashiro, and Jeff Pierce also all have mugs. Actually... Lowkey highkey I can see that Tatsu might have introduced Duke to this kind of stuff in the first place? I can see that she would enjoy something simple that you can do while trying to clear out your mind.

Damian

Well. Damian is a gifted artist, but this translates differently into actual crafts. It just does.

He's probably a good printmaker. Not only does this take advantage of his art skills and keen attention to details, but it's one of the oldest artforms still in practice today. Most printmakers develop their techniques by perfecting one of several forms of the art, which have been passed through generations, and have a really firm grip on art history. Those stories would appeal to Damian, in addition to the craft itself.

Damian is the most likely of his siblings to be able to sit still for prolonged periods of time and do a repetitive motion. In fact, it may actually be something he can enjoy if it means he can just zone out for a bit. So, he's probably actually decent at spinning yarn. If the sky is grey and rainy, he drags out a wheel and some pre-sorted rolags and spins yarn, exclusively for Cass, who then weaves it. He enjoys the progression of colors in the fibers as much as she does, and they bond over it.

The feeling of different fibers slipping through his fingers is also really soothing. Bad day? Time to spin some merino, because it slips like water through his touch. Need to feel grounded? Time to spin a cotton blend, because you have to be present enough not to chafe your hands on the rough fibers...

Probably also really good at embroidery, for the same reasons. Plus, it's really satisfying to feel and hear the pbt-psht, pbt-psht of the needle and thread pulling through the taut fabric.

Bruce

Obviously knows how to forge/metalwork. I like to imagine he's also dabbled in lost wax casting.

Probably has little trinkets he made when he was younger scattered around the house. Maybe he donated a few to charity auctions.

Has made rings/jewelry pieces. But doesn't talk about them. (One ring went to Selina, and a pair of earrings went to Talia)

Alfred

The all-talented, all-knowing. There's probably nothing he can't do. He already sews all their outfits. So I mean.

Sometimes it feels really good to have something to stab. I'm not saying he does needle felting, but I'm not saying he wouldn't.

Probably was the one who taught Bruce about lost wax, and the one who helps Damian research about printmakers.

Silently supplies all the kids with all the art things.

Has a chest in his room filled with all the things that he's been gifted with over the years. There's little uneven macrame hanging from when Dick was just getting the hang of it, lumpy scarves that are too short for anyone to realistically wear from Jason, linen sets made by Cass, various trinkets from Tim, handmade cards and notebooks from Steph, mugs from Duke, and old embroidery pieces from Damian in unevenly stained hoops.

Red, that was all Lily saw when James spoke. Everything happened so fast you'd have missed it if you blinked.

No one noticed Lily raise her arm and form a fist in the midst of James attempting to ask her out and no one noticed the clear look of seething anger in her eye. It was only after Lily's fist had collided with James's face along with hearing a horrible cracking noise did they notice how angry Lily was.

Yet for some reason James nor his other friends seemed to understand why she did what she did. They all stood there in shock as James stumbled to the ground while holding his nose. There was blood running down his face and he was confused on what just happened.

"What the hell?! What was that for!!?" James shouted out as he stood up. Lily glared at him and was ready to deliver another punch "Are you kidding me?! You're seriously asking me why the bloody hell I punched you! Are you that fucking ignorant!!" She shouted out, it took everything in her power and will not to kill James right then and there.

"Listen to me Potter, I want you to stay the bloody hell away from me and from Severus. The same goes for your pathetic friends, I want nothing to do with any of you arrogant pricks" Lily stated and stormed off. She needed to go to a quiet place and calm down before she did something irrational.

As she was thinking about where to go she didn't notice the person she bumped into. 'Great...' she thought, she let out a snarl and was ready to say something but was stunned into silence when she realized who it was she bumped into. "Oh...Severus" She spoke softly her anger seeming to fade at the sight of her best friend. Severus gave her a smile "Hi Lils, have you got your heads in the clouds again?" He asked which caused Lily to laugh.

She smiled "Yeah, yeah I do. Sorry about bumping into you" Severus let out a soft chuckle "It's alright, I'm heading to the library do you wanna come along?" Lily nodded and together the two made their way to the library.

Once at the library the pair sat somewhere near the back. "Hey Lils, is everything alright? you seemed annoyed when we ran into eachother earlier?" Severus asked with deep concern. For some reason he felt like he had done something wrong but wasn't sure what. Lily let out a sigh and rested her head on the table "No everything is not alright, Potter and his stupid friends pissed me off. Potter tried to blackmail me, he said if I go out with that he'll leave you alone and I felt so goddamn sick hearing him say that" She explained and tears began to form, it was still hard for her to believe that that had actually happened.

"He kept talking most of it was insulting stuff about you and somewhere along the way I ended up punching him in the face. Everything he said pissed me off so much, I'm almost certain I broke his nose." She added and let out a forced chuckle. Severus pulled her into a hug and she clung to him for dear life "Don't worry Lily, they'll get what's coming to them" He spoke.

After several minutes they both pulled away and where soon interrupted by Professor McGonagall. "Sorry to disturb you kids but Miss Evans the headmaster wishes to see you right away" She stated sternly, Lily looked over at Severus who gave her a reassuring smile. She looked back at McGonagall and nodded before standing up and following her to Dumbledore's office.

When they have arrived she was greeted by Dumbledore and she was also greeted by James Potter. Seeing him there made her blood boil and she felt like tackling him to ground and punch him or to just simply hex him. Tho instead she took a deep breath and sat in the other empty chair in front of his desk.

"Headmaster you wanted to see me" Lily said as calmly as she could.

"Ah yes miss Evans, I have something to discuss with you along with Mister Potter here. It has come to my attention that you miss Evans punched mister Potter which resulted in him having a broken nose. Would you care to explain why that is?"

Lily clenched at the hem of her skirt and forced herself to smile "Well Headmaster, I did what I did because Potter here decided to try and blackmail me by using the safety of my best friend Severus Snape. Someone who he seems to go after a lot, I would have simply said no but it's seems that Potter only hears what he wants to hear because he keeps coming back to ruin my day as well as ruin the day of my best friend and everyone else in this school along with his friends" She stated through gritted teeth 'I hope to Merlin this is over soon or else I'm going to explode' she thought to herself 'Don't worry Lils, soon the Headmaster will punish Potter and all will be well' she added and waited patiently for Dumbledore's response.

It felt like hours before Dumbledore spoke again "Well, well this is very problematic but I must say that there were other ways to solve the issues miss Evans instead of using physical violence" He stated calmly like always. Lily frowned, she'll admit she could have done something other then to punch Potter but she was too blinded by anger that she didn't think rationally at the moment.

"You're right headmaster and I apologize" Lily spoke and looked down at her lap. Dumbledore nodded "Good, now for your punishment, miss Evans you are to have detention with Mister Filch for a month" He explained which caused Lily to gasp, she opened her mouth to argue but Dumbledore held up a hand to silence her.

Lily looked back down at lap and waited for Dumbledore to continue. "Mister Potter you will also receive detention but with Professor Slughorn for two weeks" He stated "And 50 house points will be taken from both of you" He added. Once Dumbledore spoke those words Lily quickly stood up which resulted in knocking back her chair.

"I'M SORRY WHAT?! WHY DO I GET DETENTION WITH MISTER FILCH AND POTTER GETS PROFESSOR SLUGHORN!? THIS ISN'T EVEN A PUNISHMENT FOR HIM!!! SLUGHORN ISN'T EVEN A COMPETENT TEACHER!!!! IF YOU AREN'T USEFUL OR RICH HE DOESN'T SPARE A SECOND GLANCE AT YOU!! POTTER HERE ATTEMPTED TO BLACKMAIL ME INTO A DATE WITH HIM AND HE SIMOLY GETS DETENTION WITH SLUGHORN WHO DOESN'T DO CRAP! OH BUT BECAUSE I PUNCH POTTER IN ORDER TO PROTECT MYSELF I GET DETENTION WITH MISTER FILCH, SOMEONE WHO ADORES GIVING OUT PUNISHMENTS!!!" Lily shouted out in anger, if Dumbledore wasn't the headmaster she'd have punched him the same way she punched Potter.

"BUT NOT ONLY EVER SENSE ME AND SEVERUS CAME TO THIS DAMN SCHOOL HOPING TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE WONDERS OF MAGIC! POTTER AND HIS STUPID FRIENDS HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT STALK, HARASS, AND ATTACK US! WE CAN'T TAKE ONE STEP WITHOUT EITHER ONE OF THEM RUINING OUR DAY!!! AND YOU ALONG WITH EVERY OTHER ADULT IN THIS SCHOOL HAS DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT IT EXCEPT PUNISH ME AND SEVERUS WHEN ITS CLEAR WE'RE THE VICTIMS!!! WHAT KIND OF HEADMASTER ARE YOU THAT WOULD THIS TO CONTINUE!? ARE YOU BIASED OR SOMETHING!? MY GOD YOU SHOULDN'T BE OUR HEADMASTER NOR SHOULD POTTER AND HIS FRIENDS BE ALLOWED IN THIS BLOODY SCHOOL!!!!" She added. Once she was done speaking she took several breathes to calm herself down. Lily crossed her arms and glared at Dumbledore who looked extremely surprised at her outburst.

Dumbledore opened his mouth to speak but was stopped by Minerva giving him an intense glare of her own. "Miss Evans is correct, it seems that anytime Mister Potter and his friends break the rules you turn a blind eye to it" She explained and crossed her arms.

After several more minutes speaking, well more like arguing, did Dumbledore provide a punishment suitable for Potter and his friends. Tho sadly neither would be expelled this was enough for Lily cause atleast not if they ever tried anything again she could simply go to Professor McGonagall who for now on will handle any punishment given to the Marauders.

Lily walked down the halls feeling a little better then before. Minerva had gotten Dumbledore to lower her punishment so now she wasn't allowed to attend Hogsmeade and she'd have a week's detention with Professor Flitwick. Not only that but Potter was given detention with Mister Filch for the remainder of the school year plus he and Sirius were both removed from the quidditch team even tho it pained Minerva to do so it had to be done. Sirius, Peter, and Remus will also be given detention with Mister Filch for the rest of the year and they all will not be allowed to attend Hogsmeade ever again.

Lily couldn't help but smile "Oh I can't wait to tell Sev the good news" She said to herself. She had stopped by the library but it seems that Severus had left. Next she went to the Slytherin's room and after some threats were exchanged a roommate of Severus's told her that he hadn't returned. She let out a huff and frowned "Where on earth could that boy be?" She muttered. Lily continued her search for her best friend, after a few minutes she heard some faint shouting.

She quickly began running to the source of the shouting and saw a sight that made her blood absolutely boil. There right in front of her were the Marauders tossings hex after hex to the very person she calls her best friend, Severus. Lily quickly pulled out her wand quickly casted the expelliarmus spell to expel the Marauder's wands.

The boys in question turned around in shock, anger, and confusion only to come face to face with a very pissed off Lily. She stepped towards them wand still pointed at them "I told you to stay away from him.......I TOLD YOU IGNORANT AND ARROGANT BASTARDS TO STAY THE BLOODY HELL AWAY FROM HIM!!!!!" She shouted out and casted the knock back jinx.

The jinx hit James and she quickly casted it again while aiming for Sirius. Both Peter and Remus stood there practically frozen, well that was because when Lily casted the first knockback jinx it had given Severus enough time to grab his wand and cast the stunning spell on them both. Lily turned her attention to them both and decided not to cast the jinx on them, instead she rushed over to help Severus up off the ground.

"I'm taking you to Madam Pomfrey's" She said but Severus shook his head "Don't, just take me back to the slytherin common room" Lily opened her mouth to protest but Severus held up a hand the same way Dumbledore did to stop her. "Please Lily, just listen to me, just this once" He spoke and Lily simply nodded.

The pair quickly made their way to the Slytherin common room. Once they reached the entrance Severus spoke the password and soon the common room was revealed to them both. They quickly went inside and Lily guided Severus towards the long couch. She carefully sat him down "Sev are you sure you shouldn't go see Madam Pomfrey?" She asked in concern. Severus simply shock his head "I'm sure, Lily I need you walk up the stairs leading to the boys dorm, the seventh door is my room. When you reach it ask for Rosier, he has blonde hair, just tell him it's the marauders and that's it" He said softly.

Lily nodded and did what she was told, she ran up the stairs when she reached the top she began counting the rooms "One, two, three..." she mumbled to herself. Once she reached the 7th room she hastily knocked on the door. A few seconds later the door opened and she came face to face with the very person Severus had asked her to speak too, Evan Rosier. 'Just tell him it's the marauder's and that's it' she thought "Severus, the marauders" She spoke out and as quick as she spoke the door slammed shut.

She stood there confused and upset "Hey!" she shouted out and began banging on the door. A few minutes later the door swung open, Rosier stepped out of the room with a bag in his hand "Follow" was all he said as he made his way downstairs. Lily quickly followed him, once they reached the bottom she watched as Rosier made his way towards Severus. He knelt down in front of him and opened up the bag he had. Rosier began pulling out several potion and made Severus drink them.

Let's be honest, I saw It 2017 only bc of James McAvoy in the second chapter and I found it boring. And then the second part I found more like a comedy than horror. I didn't like films that time but I liked characters (Richie). Some weeks ago I rewathed both It 2017 and It 2019 and second one is still too long and a comedy but first I found interesting

So remake is great at least on the second time watching and that's enough

And I love Bill's version bc he does look scary (in a some way, of course). Yeah yeah new effects are doing their work and the costume is less friendly than Tim's but the most important is Bill's acting. His mimic and expressions are perfect he fits this role way too good. And, damn, he's so funny like... Yeah, I'd spend my last minutes with him he's great, that would be the most hilarious death I could ever get

Warnings: Cigarettes, Smoking, Underage Smoking, and Mentions of Death

A/N: This all happened when I was 17 in my DR, I'm 18 here, and there

I sat there on the front steps of The Curtis House. I haven't been inside yet. What was I supposed to do now? Where was I supposed to go? I'm still just 17. Would I move in with Buck? I couldn't expect Darry to take me in. Maybe I'd move in with Tim. As I'm lost in thought, Steve walks out, putting a hand on my shoulder. "Why don't you come inside, Tex? It's gettin' cold." he says to me. I look up at him, and he holds a hand out to help me up. We walk inside together, the Gang looking at us. I see Ponyboy standing in the corner, staring off to the side.

I had been at work when I got a visit from Buck. He told me I need to come with him, and that it was urgent. He had already talked to my boss, so I grabbed my stuff and left. He explained to me that my parents had passed in an accident along with Mr. and Mrs. Curtis and my Godfather. It was while on their way to have a picnic at the park together. I said nothing, just staring out the window, letting it sink in. "You okay, kid?" Buck asked. "I don't know." I responded.

We pulled up to the house, and got out. I decided to just sit on the steps. "Comin', kid?" he asked. I shook my head, burying my face into my knees. I had sat there for an hour before Steve came out to get me. Now that I stand here, looking at the Gang altogether, I start to cry. I miss my parents. I want to go home. I want them to hug me and tell me that it was a false report, that they're still alive. I sank to my knees, sobbing, not feeling the usual embarrassment I do if I cry in front of the Gang. Steve knelt beside me, putting an arm around me, hugging me. I hugged him back as if my life depended on it.

I didn't know Steve cared this much. I always thought he just saw me as Soda's friend, not a friend of his own. I cried harder at the realization that he had my back, too. I guess deep down, I always knew he did, but no one had ever said it aloud. Steve was just as much my friend as Two-Bit or Soda was. For three minutes, Steve just hugged me and let me cry. Eventually, I pulled away, starting to feel the embarrassment. "I-I'm sorry, Steve." I said, wiping my eyes. He just gave me a smile, and helped me up again.

A little while later, the Gang decides they're all gonna stay the night. "I'll sleep on the floor if I have to!" Two-Bit says. As I'm brushing my teeth, I look at myself in the mirror. I see how long my hair is. I've never cut it. Not once in my entire life have I cut my hair. I decided that now is the time to cut it, if any. This is a new stage in life, one I'm just going to have to grow used to, even if I never stop missing my Dads and Godfather. Even if I never stop missing Mrs. and Mr. Curtis. I took a deep breath, knowing exactly what I want to do.

Once I finish brushing my teeth, I go into the kitchen, grabbing the scissors. I find Steve. "Steve!" I say. "Cut my hair." I say. "W-What?" he asks. "Cut my hair." I repeat. "W-Why?! Buck and Darry would skin me!" he exclaims. "Just-meet me outside when everyone else is asleep, okay? I need to do this, and I want you to be the one to do it." I say. "I don't know nothin' about cuttin' hair!" he says. "Neither do I." I shrug. He just gives me a look, but says he'll do it. I hug him again. "Thanks, Steve!" I say. "You owe me a pack of smokes!" he says. "Fine." I say.

I catch Pony before he goes to bed. "Hey." I say, grabbing his arm gently. "You okay?" I ask. He just shrugs. I hug him. "Hey. I know we're pretty mean to each other most of the time. But you're like a brother to me. You can always talk to me if something's going on." I say, half smiling. He just nods, walking into his room. Typical Pony. I sit in the living room, waiting for everyone to fall asleep. Dally bullied everyone into taking the couch, so me, Two-Bit, Steve, and Johnny had to take the floor. Buck left, but told me I'm always welcome at his place. Not in quite so much words, of course, but he said it in his own way.

After I'm one hundred percent sure everyone's asleep, I hit Steve with a pillow. He fell asleep, as usual. "Ow!" he says. "Oh, quiet, ya big baby!" I say. We get up, slowly making our way outside, shutting the door as quietly as possible. I had to step over Two-Bit, and Steve almost stepped on Johnny. We sit out on the front steps, and I hand him the scissors. "Where's my smokes?" he asks, holding his hand out. I roll my eyes, handing him the last pack I have. "I'll just bum one offa Dally later." I say. He starts cutting, and starts using his switchblade once it's short enough. He smokes as he cuts, and once he's done, he gives me a once over, making sure it looks alright. "You look alright, kid." he says. "Why'd you ask me to do it? I know Two-Bit would have done it had you asked him. He's head over heels for ya." he says. "I don't know, you were the closest person, I guess." I say.

Once we're done, we go back inside, and I sneak into the bathroom. Wow. I dig it. I look cool! I go back out into the living room, to thank Steve. He's sitting up, waiting for me. "Ya dig?" he asks. I nod. "Thanks, Steve." I say. He ruffles my hair and we go to sleep.

The rest of the Gang was shocked. "Angela'll kick your ass, Steve." Dally says, laughing. Angela always would brush my hair for me, braiding it, I'd let her do whatever with it. She was always nice to me. "See, what'd I tell ya, Tex, I didn't wanna do it in the first place!" Steve says, and we all laugh. "You look cool, Tex." Johnny says. "Well, I like it! I've had long hair my entire life, and I thought with the death of my parents, it's time for something new, ya know?" I say.

It didn't take Angela long to figure it out. I didn't even tell her, it was Tim that had spotted me at the Slash J at work. I'm the only white-headed kid in town, so it was easy to recognize me. Once she heard, she was real mad. Twisted Steve by the ear, so I'm told.

A week later, we learned that Buck was officially my legal guardian now. He was named my sole caretaker if my Godfather, Lancelot, was unable to care for me. It was Mr. and Mrs. Curtis, but since they're not longer with us either, it was up to my parent's will to determine who I would stay with. Due to some confusion, Buck and Darry got split custody of me, and I was allowed to stay with whoever whenever, as long as I stayed out of too much trouble, otherwise, it was the boy's home for me. (Idc if this is how legal stuff works, okay, PLOT)

Plot twist, I didn't stay out of much trouble, but evaded the boy's home somehow. Two-Bit and Dally are always coming up with something stupid to land us in the cooler.

The months following our parents' deaths, I grew closer with Darry and Soda, even Pony to a degree. I mostly stay with the Curtis Bros, but occasionally will be at Buck's. I couldn't bring my dog, Buckaroo with me to Darry's, so I had to leave him with Buck. Sometimes, Dally will be there, as well, and challenge me to pool. All in all, I'm glad I have the Curtis Gang, and would do anything for 'em, no matter what.

The fuzz once picked me up because Dally had stolen a car, but I said I did it. Bastard still owes me a pack of smokes for that....
