Drag Me to Hell
You purchase an old radio at an antique store that turns out to be haunted as fuck. Will you successfully banish the demon back to hell before he can take you with him? Just to be safe MDNI 18+ Only!
So I meant to write this as a one-shot but it quickly got away from me so now it is a full, multi-chapter fic. What can I say? I have lost all control of my life...
TW: Horror, Alastor is his own warning, blood, gore, swearing, crude and dark humor, hallucinations, reader is not an exorcist expert- don't try this at home, more tags to be added as the story progresses.
Part 2
"Do we really have to go in?", you whine to your best friend Kate, scrunching your nose in disgust at the literal shack with a rusty, old "Antiques" sign.
Kate giggles at your antics,"Oh come on; it'll be fun! Who knows what treasures we might find?" She grabs your arm and pulls you through the door behind her; the little bell atop the door chimes merrily to signal your entrance. You look around, as far as you were concerned there was junk piled high in every direction. Taking stock of the room you were in you notice old Coke bottles, cigar boxes, a china cabinet filled with those creepy ass 'Precious Moments' figurines, and a shit ton of clothes that were even too outdated for your grandmother to wear.
"You're counting literal trash as treasure now? That explains your dating history", you deadpan at your friend.
"Bitch I said we MIGHT find treasure! But you gotta dig through the dirt to reach it first", Kate rolls her eyes at you but smiles at your jab. Gentle bullying was just how you showed each other your love. She walks further into the store, perusing through all the trinkets on the shelves. You follow after her, trying your best to not make eye contact with those Precious Moments dolls whose eyes seemed to follow you as you pass by.
You enter an adjacent room, this one filled with tin cooking instruments in varying degrees of disrepair. A portly, older gentleman with greying hair sat behind a register with a large tabby cat on the table. The cat lets out a loud yowl at the pair of you but the man says nothing as he watches you carefully in case you try to steal anything. 'What in here is even worth stealing?' you think to yourself. You smile at him politely and quickly move onto the next room, this one filled with old toys...yikes.
"So how do you know when you find "treasure?", you ask, using your fingers to put air quotations around the word treasure. Kate picks up a particularly disturbing looking baby doll and wiggles it in front of your face.
"When you find something you just can't leave without!", she laughs as you flinch back, glaring at her- you had told her your hatred of dolls in good faith and here she was using that information against you. She places the demonic toy back on the shelf and you give it another glare for good measure- not today Annabelle.
The next area was only slightly less disturbing; it looked like a middle-aged housewife was allowed to decorate it with all the "Live, Laugh, Love" and "Wine a Little, Laugh A Lot" signs all around. "Jesus Fucking Christ does this place never end?! It didn't look this big from outside!", you exclaim in exasperation. Kate carded through a stack of pictures and paintings.
"Perhaps if you actually looked for something that strikes your fancy you'd have a better time", she absentmindedly replied. You sigh but raise your hands in surrender, she had a point there. You make your way to the back, knowing nothing in this basic Karen of a room was going to please you.
When you reach the next room your eyes light up,"A ha! Now this room is interesting!", you call back to Kate. It was a music-themed room full of old records, CD's, posters, and stereos. As a music major in college you felt your heart soar at the sight of all the little pieces of music history surrounding you. You immediately dig into the records, wondering if you could find something new for your collection that was in decent shape. Maybe it was old school of you, but nothing beat the crisp sound of a record; records made you feel like the music was surrounding you, like you could see and taste the notes making it a full-body sensory experience.
Kate joins you, letting out a curt laugh,"I should have guessed it would be a music room." Your frown slightly as you reach the end of the records without finding anything of note for your collection. You sigh heavily at the disappointment that fills your chest.
"Too bad this room turned out to be a du-", you trail off as you catch sight of it. On the top shelf at the far end of the room sat an ornate, antique radio. It was cathedral-shaped, made of a dark- almost black- wood, the face painted a bright crimson. The speakers resembled a throne and below the control panel were large, yellow slices that resembled flames...or a very creepy smile. You gently plucked the fragile-looking radio from the shelf; it was a lot sturdier than it looked, feeling pretty hefty in your hands. You turn it around in your hands, it appeared to be battery-powered like most radios were prior to the 1930's. You wondered if it would work today.
"Find something interesting?", Kate asked beside you. She made a face at the old radio, "No offense but that thing is creepy AF!"
"It is no creepier than that doll earlier!", you defend your unique find. "I think I'll purchase it", you state with finality and make your way back to the front. The old man speaks little more than just to tell you your total cost, the cat joining him as they stare at you distrustfully. 'Jeez, cranky old coot', you think.
Back at your home you tinker around with the radio, polishing it up a bit and adding some new batteries. Your home was small, just a 1-bedroom and bathroom place that you were renting on the outskirts of New Orleans. You decorated modestly, a bookshelf with your favorite novels and records took up an entire wall of your small living room. The TV was small and pushed into a corner, you really only used it for background noise most days. You had one small but comfortable couch that you mostly used to work on. You were a writer for OffBeat, New Orleans' local music magazine. It was a great gig that let you work from home, even if you weren't compensated the best being a new writer on the team. You spent most of your days writing about Jazz and The Blues, local concerts and events coming up, and interviewing rising artists.
You placed the radio up on top of your bookshelf, you'd try to get it to work tomorrow. As you were pushing it back onto the shelf you felt a sharp sting in your finger, "Ah! Fuck!", you exclaim as you quickly pull your finger back. You inspect it, finding a drop of blood leaking out of your skin; you must have accidentally cut yourself on one of the yellow ornamental parts. You raise your bleeding finger to your lips and gently suck the small wound to soothe it. Sparing one last glance up to the radio, you turn off the light and head to bed.
Completely missing how the smile of the radio that just bit into you started to eerily glow in the dark after you.

I like to collect certain things, but not actively searching for them, it ruins the fun for me
for example, I love weird contextless wiki pictures, like this one:
Tumblr media
they're funny! every time I come across a new one I add it to my pile and hope I'll find more. however I'll never search on google images for them, or snoop wikis to find more. on google images there'd be too many of them. they'd lose their novelty, the fun of finding a cool thing in the wild. and actively searching them on wikis is boring and tedious
another example is stamps. I keep every stamp I get from letters (very few :( ), and ask my mother to give me hers. I could go as far as asking friends to keep theirs for me (I don't do it to avoid being annoying), and scavanging the house for old letters, but buying stamps online? being a serious collector and buying every new stamp sheet, and looking for antique ones? that's too much
I don't know how to call this. lazy collecing? passive piling? does anyone who read this relate?

AAAAAAAAAAA I LOVED that poly!Slender x reader x LJ!! I didn’t originally request it, but if it’s not too much, can I please request a sequel (featuring the adorable Slendra Jackson?) Ty! 😁😁
Anon you have no idea how happy this request made me- I NEVER get asks about my OCs so you calling Slendra adorable and aSKING TO INTERACT WITH HER??? MADE ME REALLY REALLY HAPPY SO THANK YOU- sorry this ask took a bit to answer, I only got your ask late in the evening so I had to finish it off over the course of my morning. Thank you again for the ask!! I hope you like what I came up with- (put it under a cut since it’s a little long)
‘’More wine, dear?’’ Slender asks you from across the couch. It’s late, and quiet. A rare combination here in the mansion. Somehow, every other person in the mansion is downstairs, in their room or somewhere else. Meaning you and your two boyfriends are free to occupy the couch by yourselves and have a quiet evening, and you couldn’t ask for more. Being curled up against Jack’s soft body with Slender’s arms wrapped around you both. Even Jack is being quiet for once, his face resting against Slender’s chest. He might be asleep- you’re honestly not sure.
‘’Sure.’’ you murmur back, looking up at Slender. He seems to smile despite his lack of face and reaches over to the coffee table, pouring you some wine from the already-half empty bottle sitting on it. A benefit of not being human, you guessed, was being able to drink a lot of the stuff without worrying about intoxication. As you’re taking another sip from your glass a soft, shy voice interrupts you.
‘’Mama? Pops? Dad?’’
The three of you look over at the voice’s owner. A short girl with fiery hair and brownish-purple skin. Her eyes are bright and gold, and she has pale red horns and dark red claws that scratch gently against the bannister she’s holding. Your shared daughter- it’s odd, she’s not related to you, she’s adopted like every other child in the mansion, but she’s one of the few that calls you mom. Everyone took fairly naturally to you dating the mansion’s ‘dads’, just treating it like you were dating anyone else, but Slendra? She’s been calling you mom since day one. Not that you're complaining.
‘’Need somefink, luv?’’ Jack murmurs behind you. He sits up a bit.
Slendra shifts where she stands. ‘’...can I get a bedtime story?’’ she asks quietly. Slender IMMEDIATELY sits up, alert. ‘’I-I know I’m a little old for it but-’’
‘’Ye can’t ou’grow bedtime stories, kiddo.’’ Jack says. Slender nods. You can’t help but smile a little bit at the two’s excitement- though Slender’s is far more obvious. You can’t blame them. Slendra is beginning to hit that- odd phase where kids think they need to act like adults. Except she’s only five years old. Damn demon aging. ‘’Ow abou’ me an’ Slen do i’ fer ya? I’ll do th’ voices an’ ‘e can narra’e. Like when ye were li’le.’’
You look at the two of them. ‘’I want in too.’’
‘’Ye can be th’ damsel in distress.’’
You give Jack an offended look and playfully slap his chest. ‘’Rude. Slender fits the damsel role better and you know it.’’
‘’...I do look good in a dress.’’ Slender says as he climbs off the couch. You and LJ cackle in amusement. Slendra giggles shyly.
The three of you follow Slendra upstairs to her room and walk inside. Her room is like a mix between Jack’s room and Slender’s office. Her walls are a deep lavender with darker swirls running across them. Her bed is round, oddly, and covered in pillows. She has a desk piled high with books and papers for her drawing and writing habits and her ceiling is covered in not only glow in the dark stairs, but music notes too. Her carpet is soft and your socked feet sink right into it. There's shelves on nearly every wall, full of toys, trinkets or books.
The little demon girl crawls into her bed and grabs her favorite stuffed toy- a purple and green dog you tried to win for her at a carnival but...well of course the game was rigged. It was actually her older brother EJ who managed to win it for her. With a little help from his demonic strength of course. She named it Scam, and you’re still proud of her for that.
The three of you all sit down at the foot of her bed. "Wha're ye in th' mood fer then?" Jack asks.
"Can you make a story?" Slendra asks, her eyes shining. A toothy grin curls up Jack's face.
"Oh, I ge' ta flex me wri'in' t'nigh', eh?" He reaches into a puffy sleeve and pulls out a book. Slendra grins excitedly. You glance at the book's cover. Apparently Jack's homemade bedtime story is called 'The Damsel's Dragon'.
He clears his throat and opens the book. "Once upon a time, there wuz a pre'y young lass named…" Jack holds the book over to Slender. He shoots Jack an annoyed look and sighed.
"Damsel N. D. Stress." He finishes in the most airy, feminine voice you've ever heard him do. The three of you laugh while Slender fixes his tie.
"Damsel wuz th' pre'ies' lass in th' land. People came far an' wide ta see 'er an' 'er collection 'f antique ties. All th' men in th' land wanted 'er 'and in marriage, bu' she wanted none 'f tha'." You watch Jack hold the book over to Slender again.
"I hate you." Slender mutters. Slendra giggles. "Oh if only a big, handsome clown would come to admire my ties... if only…"
You laugh so hard you almost fall off the bed. Jack's hand reaches over quickly, his palm against your back, and pushes you back up. You snicker. "Sorry, sorry continue."
"Damsel spen' 'er days in 'er castle, wishin' an 'opin as th' worl' wen' by. Until one day, th' castle began ta shake! 'Er ties fell off th' shelves, 'er wine smashed to the ground!"
"Not the wine!" Slender exclaims in that airy, overly dramatic voice. You snicker again.
"Th' castle stopped rockin' an' Damsel ran up ta th' top tower ta see wha' 'ad 'appened. When she go' up there, she saw a big migh'y dragon sleepin' on 'er castle's roof!" Jack stops and nudges you. "Ye're th' dragon." He whispers. You grin.
The book is handed to Slender again. "Mr dragon, whatever are you doing up on my roof?" He exclaims. Jack holds the book over to you. Slendra looks at you excitedly. You're nowhere near as good at voices when compared to Slender and Jack, but Slendra doesn't seem to mind. You clear your throat.
"I'm taking a nap of course!" You growl out. Jack smiles as he passes the book to Slender again.
"Fockin' 'orrifyin', luv."
"Jack!" The three of you yelp. He laughs a bit.
"Sorry."
"Well you can't nap up here!" Slender continues with the story. "This is my castle! You have to go somewhere else!"
You lean over Jack's shoulder to see your next line. "Mmmm…No." You say.
"Now Damsel wuz'nt tha' dumb. She knew be'er than ta argue wiv a dragon, an' so she wen' back into 'er castle an' began lookin' fer a way to ge' rid of th' dragon."
"Good to know you don't see me as a total idiot." Slender murmurs.
"Wha' do ya mean? This isn' you, i's Damsel."
"Of course it is."
Jack grins to himself and looks back at the book. "She looked through 'er ye ol' phone book an' foun' somefink ta 'elp 'er!" He looks up at Slendra for a moment. "Th' mos' famous dragon extermina'or in th' worl'. 'Er name wuz Jackie Ardlens."
You force yourself to to 'awe' at the Slendra self-insert. She doesn't seem to have realised the character is literally named after her.
"Jackie came ta th' castle an Damsel led 'er up ta th' tower."
"It's terrible!" Slender exclaims. "That great big ugly dragon does nothing but snore all day!"
"I don't snore." You retort. Slendra looks at you. You clear your throat. "I don't snore." You say again, this time in your dragon voice. She laughs.
"Oh dragon," Slender continues with the story, ignoring you. "I've brought someone to drive you away!" You can't help but smile at how much he's actually getting into this role. Slendra is certainly enjoying it too.
"Huh? Drive me away?" You growl back at him. "How am I supposed to fit into a car?"
A grin curls up Jack's face. "Jackie stepped forward an' looked up a' th' dragon." He passes the book to Slendra who looks surprised, but then smiles wide.
"I've come to make you leave this poor lady alone!" She reads. "Why do you want to stay on this castle so bad?"
"Why the sun of course, it's nice and warm up here. And this castle is the comfiest bed I've ever had!" You read back.
"Hm…" Slendra cups her chin in her hand, pretending to think. "Well I say we build a new tower for you to sleep on! That way both of you will be happy."
Slender clasps his hands together. "Of course! That can be arranged." He says. Jack takes the book back and turns to the very last page.
"An' so, they buil' a big ol' tower fer th' dragon ta sleep on, an Damsel continued ta collec' 'er ties an' live 'appily ever after." He closes the book and smiles. "The end."
Slendra smiles wide. "I liked that one."
"Good." Jack leans in and kisses her forehead. "Now ge' yer res, swee'pea." He says softly while Slender pats the girls head.
"Mama?" As you're following Jack and Slender out of the room Slendra calls you. You stop and look at her, curled up around Scam, a bright golden eye looking at you. "I love you."
You swear you can feel yourself practically melt for a moment. You smile at her. "I love you too, sweetheart." You say softly. She smiles, a couple fangs glinting in the light, then closes her eyes and snuggles up under the covers.

“Feeling oneself taken over by the love that has taken hold of us, by Christ who has taken hold of us, feeling ourselves taken hold of by this Presence, feeling ourselves taken hold of by what has happened [...] is a tenderness a million times greater, more acute, more penetrating than a man’s embrace for his woman, or the embrace of a brother.” —Luigi Giussani [The Good Shepherd - Hermitage Museum - 4th Century] • Luigi Giovanni Giussani was an Italian Catholic priest, theologian, educator, public intellectual, Servant of God and founder of the international Catholic movement Communion and Liberation. For more: https://english.clonline.org/fr-giussani • [This statue] represents a syncronism of Christ as the "Good Shepherd" with the much earlier Classical iconography of Hermes Kriophoros as the "ram-bearer" and guardian of shepherds and their flocks. During the 3rd - beginning of the 5th centuries AD these figures were occasionally used as grave-markers or in baptisteries (as at Dura), but were most commonly depicted on wall-paintings in the Catacombs at Rome (where over 120 such representations are attested) and on mosaics, sarcophagi, lamps and statuettes. The present object presumably derives from a church or monastery of the same period, although conceivably the statue may have been imported in antiquity from North Syria. Please read below more Information about Sikh Kara:
A kara (Punjabi: ਕੜਾ (Gurmukhi), کڑا (Shahmukhi) कड़ा (Devanagari)), is a steel or iron (sarb loh) bracelet, worn by all initiated Sikhs. It is one of the five kakars or 5Ks — external articles of faith — that identify a Sikh as dedicated to their religious order. The kara was instituted by the tenth Sikh guru Gobind Singh at the Baisakhi Amrit Sanskar in 1699. Guru Gobind Singh Ji explained:He does not recognize anyone else except me, not even the bestowal of charities, performance of merciful acts, austerities and restraint on pilgrim-stations; the perfect light of the Lord illuminates his heart, then consider him as the immaculate Khalsa. The kara is to constantly remind the Sikh disciple to do God's work, a constant reminder of the Sikh's mission on this earth and that he or she must carry out righteous and true deeds and actions, keeping with the advice given by the Guru. The Kara is a symbol of unbreakable attachment and commitment to God.[2] It is in the shape of a circle which has no beginning and no end, like the eternal nature of God. It is also a symbol of the Sikh brotherhood. As the Sikhs' holy text the Guru Granth Sahib says "In the tenth month, you were made into a human being, O my merchant friend, and you were given your allotted time to perform good deeds." Similarly, Bhagat Kabir reminds the Sikh to always keep one's consciousness with God: "With your hands and feet, do all your work, but let your consciousness remain with the Immaculate Lord."The basic kara is a simple unadorned steel bracelet, but other forms exist. It was historically used like a knuckle-duster for hand-to-hand combat. Battlefield variations include kara with spikes or sharp edges. Sikh soldiers of the British Indian army would settle disputes by competing in a form of boxing known as loh-musti (lit. iron fist) with a kara on one hand.Brilliant finish and very decorative. For almost 40 years, Tommy Hilfiger has changed how young people around the world dress. Pushing the boundaries of what a fashion business looks like commercially as a true global brand that just last year generated $4.7 billion dollars in revenue. In recent years, he’s collaborated with Kith and Vetements.
Business aside, the storied American brand reshaped what, and especially who, drove influence among youth culture. He was a pioneer in seeing musicians, especially hip hop artists, as powerful marketing vehicles that could culturally, and financially, create value for the business.
First it was Grand Puba from hip hop band Brand Nubian, who shouted out the brand in a song with Mary J. Blige. Then came the rest. Britney Spears, Lenny Kravitz, Aaliyah, Destiny’s Child, Snoop Dogg the list goes on.
Remember, this was at a time when fashion brands refused to work with hip hop artist, dismissing them as drivers of youth culture, and believing a too close association with predominantly black artists would be brand dilution. How times have changed for the better.
I called up Tommy who during our call early on in lockdown was on his boat. We discussed it all, from the early days of Destiny’s Child and Aaliyah wearing the brand to why he’s venturing outside of fashion, into tech, hospitality and media.
The below interview is a written version of ‘On the Record’ Season 2, Episode 8. It has been edited and condensed for clarity. The original interview was conducted in the beginning of the Covid 19 pandemic.
On the Meaning of Fashion Brands Today
When I started out in the fashion business, I always wanted to move beyond just being a fashion brand. I’ve always had the vision to become a pop culture purveyor and innovator in the world of F-A-M-E, the acronym for fashion, art, music, entertainment and sports. Because I think that in pop culture, fashion, art, music, entertainment and sports, you need to move the needle, make a difference in society and in the world of youth who are enamored with what’s going on in pop culture, whether it’s music oriented or connected to Hollywood or connected to maybe the tech world but whatever is really becoming influential in the world of pop culture is meaningful. [So] I’ve always wanted to surround my brand with pop culture, pop culture icons, pop culture movements and I continue to look forward and think very much that way.
On Merging Fashion with Sub Culture
In the late eighties, there was this phenomenon that was just beginning to surface. It was called Hip Hop. Hip Hop was really based on rap music and had never been exposed to the [mainstream] public, probably before 1988. The way [artists] formed, the way they dressed, their lyrics, their beats. In the mid eighties kids would walk down the streets of New York City with big boom boxes, pounding music. That was sort of the beginning of it. You would see a guy with a baseball hat backwards and an Adidas tracksuit about four sizes too big. It was just a different phenomenon that was beginning to take place. I was fortunate enough to be connected to the culture, and the Hip Hop kids at the time embraced my brand and viewed my brand as their designer brand.
Russell Simmons, who was starting his own brand, Phat Farm, said, “The reason these kids are really interested in your brand is because it makes them feel rich.” Because in the very beginning, in 1985, when I started creating my brand, I created clothes for myself and I wanted my clothes to be preppy, but I wanted to be very cool. I didn’t want them to be like Ralph Lauren or Brooks Brothers. I didn’t want them to be too aristocratic looking or uptight. I washed everything. I made everything oversized. I made everything super, super casual and relaxed and they embraced my brand as their designer brand.
On Creating His Signature Aesthetic
In 1985, when I started creating my brand, I created clothes for myself and I wanted my clothes to be preppy, but I wanted to be very cool. I didn’t want them to be like Ralph Lauren or Brooks Brothers. I didn’t want them to be too aristocratic looking or uptight. [So] I washed everything and made everything oversized. I made everything super, super casual and relaxed and they embraced my brand as their designer brand.
On His Early Love for Musicians
Prior to starting Tommy Hilfiger, when I was 18 years old, I opened a jeans shop called People’s Place. I sold bell bottom jeans, fringe vest, really cool hippy and rockstar type clothing. It was my dream to really be a musician myself, but I wasn’t talented enough, so I decided to supply musicians with clothing. To dress a lot of different rock bands and performers, but at the same time, build my own cool clothing company. It was always based on my love for music and my love for rock style. I mean the kind of clothing that the groups were wearing in the sixties and in the seventies when I was a young teen, you couldn’t find in stores. Jimi Hendrix would wear the most incredible jackets with bell-bottoms his girlfriend would sew for him. The Rolling Stones were dressing in women’s clothes. David Bowie was creating Ziggy Stardust outfits, Led Zeppelin and the Who were looking more like British Mods. All of that influenced me so much.
On the Hip Hop World Embracing Him
I wanted to connect my brand to the music world, [so] when I was embraced by the Hip Hop community, it was like a dream come true. Then Hip Hop started becoming incredibly popular. Guys like Puff Daddy and Jay Z started jumping into the arena and Dr. Dre and Tupac and the West Coast Rappers. There was this whole phenomenon happening around me, and I was designing into it because I would listen to what they would want [and] they wanted everything way oversized. They wanted all the jackets, all the shirts logoed and very, very bright. They wanted their jeans five sizes too big. They wanted brand new sneakers to wear with their baggy jeans and backwards baseball caps. Then they started wearing big gold jewelry and gold chains. They really created this phenomenal style that was way ahead of the fashion world. What it made me think at the time was that in order to survive, evolve, reinvent, and build a lasting brand, I had to stay ahead of the curve in terms of what was going on in pop culture.
On Staying Ahead of the Curve
I started dressing women in men’s clothes. We dressed Aaliyah in our menswear with pants too big, boy’s underwear, broad tops made out of underwear. Then I met this music group when they were in their early teens. They performed for me during my fashion shows. They were called Destiny’s Child. The lead singer was a girl by the name of Beyonce who also wanted to dress like a boy with Tommy logos. Within underground culture, it was embraced but it certainly wasn’t mainstream. After we ran advertising in magazines with photographs of Aaliyah wearing it, young women from all walks of life were asking for it. They would see it on Salt-N-Pepa, TLC, Missy Elliott. Female urban musicians. It was accepted and that led me to doing really cool clothes for women. But all of this taught me to stay ahead of the game and to stay very connected to music and pop culture.
On Disrupting the Traditional Fashion Calendar
I’d been doing fashion shows for over 20 some years and I thought they were antiquated. I thought just having editors and buyers in the audience and closing it off to the public was an antiquated idea. I didn’t think it was new or modern. I knew hundreds of thousands and millions of people wanted to come to see fashion shows. I thought this was really antiquated anyway that they would have to wait six months to get the clothes into the stores after everybody sees photographs of the celebrities already wearing the clothes during the show. I thought I should reinvent it and really create something brand new. So I wanted to invite the public. I wanted them to have a memorable experience. I wanted to be very democratic and I wanted to really change the rules. [So] I had to figure out how to change the design calendar and the manufacturing so I would have the products available during the show. And that took quite a while to re-adjust, but it’s worked. It’s been very successful. I think a lot of people will probably attempt to do it in the future, but not many people were successful in attempting to do it because of the logistics involved.
On Honing His Design Signature
I love the fact that we years ago established a look, a feel to the brand that is standing with us today. We are, if you close your eyes and you think of a Tommy Hilfiger brand, whether it’s a pair of headphones or a pair of sneakers, you see red, white, and blue. Years ago when Nike took the name off the swoosh, I think it was in ’86. I thought, okay, Phil Knight is a genius. He just took the name of his company off his logo and people know what his logo stands for [today]. I had that dream to do that at some point in time.I did it about, I think, 10 years ago when I felt that most people knew that the red, white and blue flag is. I believe in brand identity in a big way, regardless of what you’re selling or producing. I always think it can evolve and I always think it can change and be reinvented. Whereas I think a lot of people don’t think about those things because they think that the company name is the company name and they’re going to make a certain product line and stay within those confines.
Working With Celebrities as Co-Creators
Well, this all sort of happened while we were thinking of developing the see-now-buy-now fashion show extravaganza. I thought, why are we designing all of these products when in fact, some of these young people like Gigi [Hadid] who was on our runway has a sense of style that’s very cool and relevant, and she could actually influence us? I asked her to co-design with me and we did the Tommy x Gigi collections that were incredibly successful. It wasn’t just having Gigi Hadid as the face of the brand, but as the creative influencer of the brand. Then we did the same with Lewis [Hamilton] and the same with Zendaya. I don’t want to do what was. I want to do what is next. I really believe that a lot of it has to do with a digital experience. A lot of it has to do with the type of shopping experience that is modern and new, as opposed to, I don’t know, just going into a store or going on a website, looking at still images. I really believe it’s going to change. I want to be ahead of that change.
On Expanding the Brand
We’re going forward in a new way. The livestream shopping [platform] we’re creating is really allowing us to build our own broadcast channel through social media. We really believe that getting in front of the consumer in a unique way and a modern way is the best way. I’m [also] looking at new technologies. I’m looking at the digital world and figuring out how it connects with our world. I really believe that media and entertainment are such an enormous part of our lives today. I cannot stress how important it is. I want to be a fashion media entertainment brand. I don’t want to be just a fashion brand. I think being just a fashion brand is very limiting and somewhat boring even. That’s exactly why I’m reaching beyond just fashion. So we’ll go beyond just being a fashion brand. We’re developing products that are connected to one’s lifestyle like electronics, headphones, chargers, gadgets, hotels, residences, experiences, health, and wellness. I like what’s going on in Hollywood, Silicon Valley, in the VR world. [I want to] collide all of this together and come up with our own product ranges that are outside of fashion.
It’s a risk. I think that a lot of fashion brands run by large corporations are afraid of risk. I also think that many brands might not have the vision to do it and might be afraid to do it. Many of them are somewhat myopic in my estimation. Many fashion brands are antiquated. They wouldn’t really think of doing some of the things we do and that’s okay. I do believe that many brands will try figuring out how to do see-now-buy-now going forward, but not every brand. I think that you always have to find your lane and once you find your niche, you have to expand upon it and you have to build a better mousetrap than your competition.

Coins Quiz There are different type of quizzes. The easiest one is where you have to identify the country. Yoz have nothing else to do,just name the country. The second type quiz is for identifying denomination or currency name, this one is could be a little bit harder, but still can be done with some google help. The next level is  still for world coins ehre you have to guess the year of minting.Coins usually were minted for a period of years with same shape, just the year of minting has changed. You will need to identify the exact year or the issue period. Not easy, you need to get some information using search engines. (the funniest thing is that you can get the answer just watching the video after 10 seconds  it will appear for every quiz question)
Hard Quizzes This type of quiz is not intended to be easy. The quiz was created to test coin identification skill. You are perfectly free to use search engines like Google or other resources. The prize of satisfaction should be greater than the award of the blue ribbon. Each question gives you some information to start to identify those coins. Some questions are easier than others. You can research for matching coins on other sites of your choice. If you ca get any information from the coin, try to search for it at google images,or sites  like eBay  you probably  will get more information to get closer to the right answer.
