Yeah we all know that Ruki is a little bitch even since he was a human child, but let's be realistic and think that those were other times too and now he is a vampire that logically should be sadistic and possessive since they are predators.

Putting that aside, I met DL MANY years ago and although Ruki wasn't my fav from the beginning, after reading and seeing his routes [as well as making a rp with a friend who knew him very well] it made me fall in love with him. Ngl, he has a very attractive voice and also fits my tastes (dark hair + light eyes), plus I love antagonists/villains/antiheroes and etc. But can we talk about how well written he is ??? He is a character who has his moments of redemption and you can also empathize with him perfectly, since as humans we always made the occasional mistake that we later regret (although some do not change) In addition to showing that dependence, the only thing that saves him and distracts him from his shitty life: KarlHeinz (like many people who have this problem, we cling to things like anime, music, parties and maybe worse things) and Adam and Eve's plan is their goal to be able to repay their debt to that source that gives them a certain value (such as when you are emotionally dependent on your parents and want to make them proud of you).

You can see from my files that from day 1 I created my Tumblr account my diaboy fav was always Ruki because I rb about everything related to him or if he is involved. Part of my fanaticism I have written in Irina so I suppose this would be more than enough, but I really consider Ruki one of the most interesting characters in the game both for his history and behavior as well as for his development.))

Inclusionist, pro-media literacy education, anti-fiction policing. Trying not to post too much about these issues, though, for my own peace of mind.

I like to keep my dashboard pretty minimalist, so I usually don’t follow people back. However, if you pop up in my notes frequently, I usually will go check out your blog from time to time. Like I definitely have people I consider honorary mutuals, my brain just doesn’t like having to catch up on everyone at once via dash. 

“Why can’t I reblog your post?” I never plan for my posts to blow up, and on the rare occasion that they do, it’s never the ones that I actually want to be reminded of as they demolish my notifs. I have a couple posts that I turned reblogs off of because I was overwhelmed by the notes.

When Ikki disappeared from the picture I couldn't help but think two reasons so far for why it happened. One is that Ikki's situation is like Asahi from Ultraman RB where Ikki is not really who think he is and the memories got fixed into thinking everyone including himself that he is part of the family. While the other one is that him being in the picture is just Ikki's mind making him think he is in it when he isn't and it was just showing his desire to want be a supporting brother to Daiji

I think the first one is more likely but it's so mysterious why it would be like that... his family doesn't seem all that special so why would they have their memories changed to think they had another son...

the other thing I was thinking is it would be interesting if vice was the "original personality" and ikki came around later but I think that's a setup they'd probably save for a villain or antihero

I just watched Mr robot 5x07. This episode honestly broke me. It left me feeling like an expose nerve... And by the state of my posts you all can see I'm RB everything mr robot related but specially things I agree or I felt strongly about.

Now... I'm going to throw a little bit of info about me, so whoever is reading understand why I'm so affected by this episode:

I've said several times before, I'm a psychologist, a therapist, and I've treated a lot of patients - sexual assault victims (women, men, children), sexual predators, domestic violence victims and offenders, people on the autism spectrum, people with all kind of mental health problems... Lots of children... Lots...

And that is what Mr. Robot plays a big part on my emotions, I knew something traumatic happened in Elliot's childhood... I knew Mr robot was there to protect him, I knew he was there in his childhood... Did I knew what Edward Alderson did to Elliot specifically, no... But i had my suspicions. That's why the revelation wasn't that shocking to me... It was watching Elliot's pain, it was watching vera force that revelation, it was watching Krista do what you know as a therapist you shouldn't do... Because you aim to help, you aim to guide, your one and only priority and concern is your patient...

And I think that broke me... Because when I'm in my job I need to learn how to deal with the pain of others... Not to let it face me, to be the support and the rock of my patients when they are at the most vulnerable moment.

I just have to say that everyone's acting was amazing, it felt real because it was... I've seen real pain and violence and it looks like that.

As for what everyone is saying... I do believe as I RB a post before, that Mr. Robot has been trying to protect Elliot, and with Tyrell it is quite clear to me now that he wanted to protect him from male attention... And well... Tyrell is an intense character, and he loved Elliot, that much we know... I want to believe Tyrell is not dead but that is more of a wish... So I'm going with the idea that he is... So... Even though I do believe a future relationship with Tyrell after healing and dealing is what Elliot needs, I don't think it's what we're going to get

In my personal opinion I see 2 things happening

1. Whiterose time machine does work and... Well... I don't know... That shit would be crazy. In all honesty I'd like this to happen... And it's the only way I can see a happy ending... Somehow

2. Whiterose is clearly delusional - because it's clear that she believes it wholeheartedly - and it doesn't work. And Elliot dies trying to get revenge on her... Or dies somehow...

I do believe that Elli will die... Probably saving everyone... And being for once a hero... Like for real... Not the antihero he's been the whole time...

As for the "third" personality... I believe that Elliot had multiple personalities... Mr robot, us/the viewers/the invincible presence, the mom, the kid, and the "third" personality,this one being super important given how the "mom" personality talked to the "kid" personality... Like is his chair... Like he's the boss... Leading me that to believe that this personality is a scary force.

I don't know what else to say... I have my idea about who's going to die and who's going to survive but I'm going to let that for myself.

This Week’s Expert Picks

If You Can Tell by James McMichael, a finalist for the National Book Award in 2006, has a central theme of engagement with the problem of Christian faith. I picked up this book at a Dollar Tree in South Florida, and could not resist the temptation to support poetry, especially for only one dollar. And while the subject matter is not my particular cup of wine, I can see in it the fear of love, life and death. Like all poems (like all people), this matrix of pain and wondering is interwoven with the constant, exquisite search for meaning, which is common to every human soul. RB

If you are one of those people who thinks that YA is somehow subpar you will eventually hear me say that the difference between YA, children's lit, and "regular" fiction is the age of the protagonist. There's a lot of debate about this and it comes down to marketing. Point being: I will talk crap about you for being snobby. You're not going to crap on To Kill A Mockingbird for being YA, right?

ANYWAY: Clap When You Land is a really sweet and deep-diving story that opens with news of a man's death reaching each of his two daughters who do not yet know each other exist. Set in New York City and the Dominican Republic, Acevedo leads readers through the grief and new life of two families struggling to rebuild with broken parts. She crafts the narrative with grace and touches the shadows and shiny parts of life. Because the book is written in verse, it's much shorter than it looks, which helped me. It also has a really sweet ending. SE

An orphan rising ranks as a sneak-thief, becoming the leader of the gang “The Gentleman Bastards” and dealing with friends (and enemies lurking in the shadows). This is the plot of Scott Lynch’s The Lies of Locke Lamora, a sprawling epic tale of the underworld of thieves. It’s been on my TBR list for awhile and I’m simply remiss it took me this long!

Our main character, Locke Lamora, is an antihero of sorts. A thief always with ulterior motives. The book starts off slow, building up Locke and his compatriots latest heist before they get caught up in an even bigger plot they couldn’t have possibly planned for. The story is multilayered with chapters alternating from the present to the past while cleverly revealing parts of the past that further explain each character’s rationale in the present.

This is the first in the Gentleman Bastard Series, but unlike many sprawling fantasy series it is its own complete book on its own. You care about the characters in the gang, the sprinkled humor in the dialogue isn’t forced and the multiple plot lines feel fresh. I look forward to reading the rest of the series and would definitely recommend it for those that love Game of Thrones and The Kingkiller Chronicles. CJH

Self-described as “one of America’s very best satirists” (which I, too, have coined for myself) I was admittedly originally drawn to the book by its title alone (Disposing of children? Yes, please. However, after making my way through nearly fifty quasi-nonsensical essays covering everything from using Valium as a driving aide to the “New Rules of Order” for navigating a business meeting, I’m a fan for life.
