I think you have the wrong person. I'm neither a destiheller nor a cockles shipper. I think both ships are sick and twisted. Jensen clearly doesn't like the whole destiel stuff. He has said several times at conventions that it's not real and doesn't exist yet you destihellers just won't stop. Yall know it makes Jensen uncomfortable and he don't like it.

Cockles isn't real either. Jensen isn't in a relationship with misha. His body language around misha is that reads that he isn't that comfortable around him. Jensen's smile for photo ops with misha is fake. It never reaches his eyes. He also tries to keep some space for misha in them as well when he can.

Jensen never converts destiel crap to cockles. The only people who do that is the destihellers/cockles shippers and misha.

misha is the one who will not let stuff go. He has to be constantly bringing up destiel and sexualizing Jensen. misha has a weird obsession with Jensen. It’s…very odd to me that people perceive them as enemies or whatever else because there’s no pictures or media reports about them in public. They went to Rome together, with a private Mass held for them. No pictures. They attend mutual friend dinners. No pictures. The cast’s Berlin trip barely had footage of J/M, ETCETERA! (The one semi-well documented outing they had together was the boat trip, and that very outing sparked some interesting con reactions from Jared :P Something smells here. And it’s not the fish). What we see on SM is a mere FRACTION of their entire personal lives.

Jensen is an actor on a TV show. On every TV show and movie set, they all pretend to be friends and one big happy family for the fans because fans enjoy the idea. Occasionally, but rarely, it’s even true as with J2. When it’s fake, you can tell: there’s a note of awkwardness with each other, they lack shared personal stories that don’t involve work, they’re only seen together at work or industry events, and so on, just like Jensen and Misha.

You’re taking out of context whenever Jensen has said he ‘loves Misha’. Every time, it’s been a qualifier after he’s made a joke at Misha’s expense, usually a series of them. It’s like tacking on ‘just kidding’, which he also does (or shakes his head ‘no’) after saying he ‘loves Misha’. He also says ‘we’re friends’ in the same way, as a qualifier after making jokes about Misha because he’s found it generally keeps the cockles fans from going on the attack against him.

That’s not shipping it, that’s not even tolerating the ship. That’s taking jabs at a ship you dislike and getting away with it because you’re ‘just kidding’.

Now, take it a step farther and compare that to how he talks about Jared and his friendship with him:

Shatner live tweeted Misha's directorial debut? Were they friends beforehand? I don't know much about Shatner outside of his shows. I loved him and Spader on Boston Legal. Please tell me they don't have a grudge against each other. They were brilliant together.

I doubt they were friends (most actors are not friends).  At the time there was a lot of promotion for Misha’s first (and only) directorial debut and CW arranged with Shatner to live tweet “Mothers Little Helper”.  Not even Jensen got this much promotion from CW for his directorial episodes.  CW may have donated to Shatners charity in exchange for his endorsement.  I also doubt there are any grudges between Shatner and Spader, who has a successful film and tv career and doesn’t need a fake feud to keep himself in the limelight.

What people don't realize is, stars get gifted TONS of clothes by brands. M and J wear the same size and sometimes style (like baseball caps) so of course they going to have the same stuff. Some are literally the same, borrowed from each other or from the show, but most are just two different items of the same thing.

I agree with everything you say, the only thing that is saving the cockles shippers not to be like jays2 fans, is that they don’t attack their families, I hope they never do that.

I don’t see the same extreme behaviour with Misha, YET, I pray to the gods it never happens, but he surely gets part of it with some of the worst shippers out there. As you say, they don’t care about his charities, his work, Random Acts and the general amazing stuff he does. It makes me mad, it makes me furious. And it makes me really sad. We are always saying he deserves better in relation to the show. He also deserves better from some of his “fans”.
