My version of SAO "Everyone Lives" AU

I need to get out my ideas of what would happen if most of SAO's Major Character Deaths got averted before Lycoris is released (except the villains and Sachi & the Moonlit Black Cat guild's death, there is just no way to erase it without undoing Kirito's development in Aincrad). I know SAO Gameverse/ Lycoris wouldn't follow any of my ideas, so I just want to share my view. Who knows, maybe this will become a huge fanfic some day.

Note: This post is full of multishipping/ non-canon shipping pandering headcanons/implications (the biggest ones are Eugeo/Kirito/Asuna & Bercouli/Fanatio/Dakira), as well as obvious heavy Alicization WoU and Moon Cradle spoilers, please beware. I also lightly included some game-only Alicization characters (Eydis and Medina) because I like them.

1) Cardinal is alive and she has high authority enough to install kid Alice Zuberg into a free Cube to make her a living entity separate from Alice S30

In most recent live Q&A Reki said that while writing Alicization the first scene he wrote is the scene of Kirito and Alice S30 climbing back into Cathedral and Kirito convinced Alice S30 to his side, he mentioned Alice's Synthesis is an irreversible one and it aligns with my reasoning of how Zuberg & S30 are different Fluctlights so I'll keep the same settings in here. So how would this affect everyone's treatment to the 2 Alices?

- Kirito would be glad that he doesn't have to "kill" any Alice just to keep one;

- Selka would be extremely confused, but I think she would eventually accept happily that she has 2 sisters now;

- Eugeo... would have even more complicated emotions than anyone, even more than he imagined. From my own experience, during university period, I went to a class reunion full of friends from middle school, and I reunited with a classmate friend whom I used to like a lot as a person. But for some reason I couldn't like his adult self as much as his middle school self even if he still isn't a bad person. To me he changed way too much in how he behaves and how he presents himself that I can't like his adult self like his middle school self, and I was shocked that puberty could change a person that much. Same to myself, I have changed a lot in my puberty too, and he also said I'm not the same as before any more. Back to my AU, I feel like Eugeo and Zuberg might mirror what I felt when I reunited with my classmate. Eugeo used to describe Alice Zuberg like the sun on the blue sky and that image of her is his source of happiness whenever he's sad, while Alice S30 is so unapproachable and cold like ice. Eugeo being indifferent to S30 is one thing, but to Zuberg it's like reuniting with a friend in elementary school who stayed the same and both would be shocked as Eugeo's the one who changed so much due to puberty. In ARS game Zuberg even said that while being jailed in Cathedral's ceiling, Eugeo (and everyone else) grew so big while she stayed the same and she's upset.

So I think in the end Eugeo would still end up letting Zuberg go instead of forcing her into the fantasy he held up for so long. Interestingly Eugeo himself already muled over this in LN when he was reading books in Cardinal's library, that the best outcome they could hope for is to give Zuberg back to her body and send her back to her family happily while he continued his adventure with Kirito because they're being chased away by the Church.

2) (Super self-indulgent) Bercouli/Fanatio/Dakira

Dakira: "Fanatio-sama is so amazing and dazzling and I love her, but she has Commander Bercouli so I can only be her subordinate and admire her in silence..."

Fanatio: "Dakira is so hardworking and loyal, she has so much potential I love having her with me but then what would Commander think..."

Bercouli: "Don't worry I'm cool with it, take care of our Sub-Commander, Dakira. And it's not like I can stop my knights from flexing their gayness..." *eyeing Eydis Synthesis 10

Super spoilers: Even if Bercouli didn't die in the War I think he would eventually unfreeze his age and find an ending for himself when he thinks he's lived too long and done enough for the Knights many years later. He would entrust Fanatio and her son with him to Dakira before he passed away, and Dakira would become Berche's 2nd mother (instead of Fanatio taking care of the kid alone in canon).

3) (Super self-indulgent) Eydis S10 x Alice S30 and Medina x Sortiliena

I could never imagine I would like any gameverse girls before but ARS and Lycoris manga have sold me Eydis x Alice S30 and Medina x Sortiliena OMG so I ship them hard in my AU.

4) Super self-indulgent Eugeo/Kirito/Asuna

(You guys who have stayed with me for years should have known already ara ara)

I don't feel it would not be that different from this excerpt from HR manga (seriously this artist really vibes with me I wanna have a drink with him sometimes).

Everyone: "Don't you think they're just too close? Aren't you afraid Asuna?"

Asuna: "Yeah I should, should I? But like Kirito seems so happy with him around like no others could and I feel he's a good boy so I can let them be"

We also should have more Eugeo & Asuna's interactions of chewing on Kirito's bad habits XD. I also feel like they can find solace in each other being fellow victims of sexual exploits from adults, in some aspects that Kirito can't fully understand that only fellow victims can.

4) Yuuki is alive and comes into UW as Goddess Lunaria

Poor Moon Goddess Lunaria, she's the 4th God of the Human Empire but even Reki forgot her in WoU and only mentioned her more in Moon Cradle. Anime and games also made it worse for leaving her out completely :(. So I want her to get her role in my AU as the Goddess of Dreams. Yuuki extremely fits her role, not to mention she cosplayed the Moon Princess in MD before. More Stacia Asuna x Lunaria Yuuki interactions are here of course.

5) Eugeo and Lunaria Yuuki participate in WoU with everyone

- Lunaria would be an amazing fighter of course. I feel she would be even more deadly than normal now that she has to start fighting with human souls on the line, whether they're real or artificial.

- Eugeo would be a huge AoE Life Absorber and Healer and also becomes destructive sometimes borderline death. But fighting with others will help him start seeing his own values and gain his own will to survive for others. And he'll become the first proper Knight in UW without going through Synthesis.

6) WoU changes and outcome in my AU (huge spoilers)

- Kirito got unconscious and damaged for a while, but without self-destructing his own Fluctlight from guilt of Eugeo's and other comrades' deaths because Eugeo is still alive and took care of him, so he eventually healed, at least quicker than canon;

- Asuna, Sinon and Leafa came to UW at once to help heal Kirito. There is no facepalming Asuna vs Alice fights since Alice didn't develop some level of Florence Nightingale effect towards Kirito (according to Wikipedia: "The Florence Nightingale effect is a trope where a caregiver falls in love with their patient, even if very little communication or contact takes place outside of basic care. Feelings may fade once the patient is no longer in need of care.");

- Sinon won against Subtilizer instead of the anti-climatic outcome in canon;

- Kirito & Eugeo fought together to win against PoH while Asuna and other girls kicked ass to huge armies;

- When they won the War the acceleration ratio of UW was changed to 1:1, Human Empire and Dark Territory made peace with more trading, labor & technology exchange treaties that benefit both. Alice S30 & Eugeo came to real world through Ichiemon & Niemon robots and chilled in ALO while Kirito beat up Kikuoka for hiding from him the actual purpose of Alicization project, and thus Kirito forced him not to use his friends as war soldiers.

- Alice S30 chose to go back to UW in the end since she finds her most values as being a Knight, coming to events of farce in real world is not her thing, and she wants to spend time with her Zuberg family. Meanwhile Eugeo already parted with his family after dumping on them a big bag of his Knight's salary money, saying that they can live prosperously without him working his ass off for them now, and he never comes back. He still comes and goes from real world to UW to do duties as a Knight who helps connecting real world & virtual reality, and sometimes visits the Zubergs with Kirito & Asuna. In real world he lives as an all-purpose robot in Kirigaya resident, while ALO he lives in the log house and takes care of Yui whenever Kirito & Asuna are busy in real world.

In My au Sven comes back to the team with the white lion which healed him from haggar infection.

In this Au some of the team are also aliens. Like later on it’s revealed Pidge and chip are Baltoeans (Ninja/Scientists) Hunk is namoean (Blacksmiths that can manipulate and bathe in magma) and Sven is crydorian( Space viking that can take grenade in the face)

I feel like their relationship would be like Kirito and Asuna from Sword art online Abridged.

Like Sven and Kirito being two arrogant, anti-social, sarcastic a-holes. While Keith and Asuna are the manipulating and short tempered leaders who are slowly going insane because of their teams stunts.

The Toonami Trending Rundown for March 30-31, 2019. Time sure flies by when you’re having fun, and it’s been 7 years since Toonami’s April fool’s day revival. And 7 years on, things continue to look up for Toonami and the anime industry overall as we continue to enjoy this great programming block that continues to inspire. And among other moments from the night, Asta unleashes a hidden power inside of him to stop Ladros, while Kirito and Eugeo enlist in a swordsman academy to level up their skills, and after a yearlong event, we finally reach the end of the Chimera Ant arc.

On Twitter, #Toonami would trend in the US alongside #BlackClover and #HunterXHunter. Dragon Ball Super, SAO, and Shippuden also trended alongside these shows, but not outright. Sword Art Online saw a character trend in Kirito as he duels Volo as he accidentally flung dirt onto him when training, and would also have to deal with the school bullies in Humbert and Raios. He also trains along with his disciple Leina and later on, he and Eugeo become disciples to Ronye and Tiese. With Kirito’s knack of “cheating” on Asuna and having girls eventually fall in love with him, no doubt lots of noticing from senpai was seen.

In Akira news, it looks like the live action adaptation might be going forward to be produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and Warner Bros. According to Variety, the California Film Commision will be giving Warner a $18.5 million tax credit on the condition that Californians are employed for production and the entire film is shot within the Golden State.

Yeah, you SAO haters are glad that Toonami rekindled relationships with Aniplex now, huh? Anyways, after a few weeks of anticipation on what Megalo Box’s replacement on the schedule will be, Toonami and Aniplex has just announced this week that the hit anime horror series The Promised Neverland will be joining the better cartoon show.

Based on the manga by written by Kaiu Shirai and Illustrated by Posuka Demizu, The Promised Neverland has been one of Shonen Jump’s biggest surprise hits in recent years with over 128 chapters and counting since it began serialization in August 2016. The show’s first season was a big hit and talking point during the Winter 2019 anime season in both Japan and on streaming, so much so that Studio CloverWorks and Aniplex have already greenlighted a second season, which will premiere sometime in 2020, as well as efforts by fans and producers were made to eventually get the show on Toonami, and their wishes were granted.

On Monday, Toonami revealed that TPN will make its debut on April 13 at 12:00am Eastern/Pacific, to go along with a significant schedule shakeup by the Adult Swim scheduling department, with Dragon Ball Super, Hunter x Hunter, and Attack on Titan staying put, SAO, Black Clover, and Shippuden moving up at least one spot, and My Hero Academia, Boruto, and JoJo’s moving down at least one spot. See the full schedule below and make sure to make plans and set your DVRs if needed.

Some of the movements have be a bit jarring and can take some time to get used to for some, and let's not even get started on the outrage from JoJo's fans and the salt from SAO and Black Clover haters. According to Jason DeMarco, the schedulers wanted to switch things up based on performance metrics among other things and also told fans that “Something moving to the tail end of the premieres in the block does NOT mean we don’t care about it [and] won’t support it.” Not to mention with other acquisitions coming down the pipe and with some long running shows ending soon, the schedule churn was going to happen sooner or later. As Sam Hinke once said, Trust The Process.

As The Promised Neverland won’t be ready for another week, we’ll have another doubleheader of SAO from 12:30-1:30 am Eastern. We’re not sure if it will be a double premiere of Episodes 9 and 10, or if it will be an encore airing of Episode 8 followed by the premiere of Episode 9, we've heard conflicting reports on the matter. We’ll let you know which one once we can confirm. In addition, Hunter x Hunter will also begin the Hunter Elections arc, the last until the series goes on its “Hiatus x Hiatus”, and Naruto starts heating up wtih Boruto’s School Trip arc and Shippuden’s The Taming of Nine-Tails and Fateful Encounters Arc.

Edit 4/2 @ 12:20 am EDT: We have just confirmed with the help of our media partners at @toonamisquad​ that this week's SAO will showcase be the latter, with an encore of Episode 8 followed by the premiere of Episode 9. Schedule your plans and set your DVRs accordingly. And yes, the infamous Episode 10 will be held off...for now.

Edit 4/3 at 1:45 pm EDT: Turns out Toonami changed their mind and Jason DeMarco confirmed that they actually will have a doubleheader of Episodes 9 and 10, and will edit the infamous episode 10 down for broadcast appropriate standards. All i can say is get ready.

Toonami Weekly Recap 4/13/2019

The Promised Neverland EP#01 - 121045: In an orphanage known as "House", 38 children spend their days playing games, studying, and taking part in tests until they are eventually adopted. One night, after six-year-old Conny is taken out for adoption by the House's mother, Isabella, two of the smartest children in House, Emma and Norman, go to catch up with Conny to deliver a stuffed toy that she forgot. Passing the still-open gate, they discover Conny dead inside a truck and are forced to hide as Isabella trades Conny as "meat" for rich demons. Realising that the House is actually a farm raising humans as food for the demons, Emma and Norman rush back and become determined to escape with the other children. Meanwhile, Isabella discovers the stuffed toy Emma had left beside the truck when they fled.

Sword Art Online: Alicization EP#11 - Central Cathedral: Eugeo is certain that the knight in front of them is Alice, but she does not recognize him or Kirito and takes them into custody. Kirito and Eugeo broke out from the prison using their high object control authority and proceed to the Central Cathedral, but Alice, having predicted their move, sends another Integrity Knight to intercept them. In the real world, Asuna is introduced to the first prototype of a AI robot that is being developed at the Ocean Turtle.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable EP#31 - July 15th (Thursday), Part 1: Yoshihiro, recognising Kira in his new appearance, notices he is being followed by Hayato. Later, on July 15th, Josuke and Okuyasu come across Mikitaka, who spots a Stand user named Toyohiro Kanedachi living on an electrical pylon. When Josuke spots Yoshihiro with him, he steps inside the pylon and falls under the spell of Kanedachi's Stand, Superfly, becoming trapped inside until someone else takes his place. Josuke and Okuyasu attempt to destroy the pylon, only to discover it reflects out any damage it receives. Wanting to help, Mikitaka confronts Kanedachi, helping Josuke to escape but becoming trapped himself. Meanwhile, as something troubling happens in the Higashikata household, Rohan, who had noticed Hayato's behavior, is approached by a strange man.

My Hero Academia: Forest Training Camp Arc EP#45 - What a Twist!: Midoriya, Todoroki and Shoji have caught up with Mr. Compress, and with Aoyama's assistance, they manage to rescue Tokoyami. However, the villains retreat with Bakugo, leaving the heroes-in-training in anguish. U.A. faces serious backlash over the next couple of days, even while the police pursues a lead to find the League of Villains. Midoriya wakes up in a hospital bed, two days after the attack. Almost all of class A comes to visit him. Kirishima and Todoroki reveal that they plan to go rescue Bakugo.

Black Clover: Witches’ Forest Arc EP#65 - I'm Home: Realizing that Vanessa could never have unlocked the Red Thread of Fate without her friends, the Queen accepts defeat and heals everyone. After giving her earring to Asta, she explains that it is actually one of the Magic Stones that belonged to the Elves who were massacred by Clover Kingdom's ancestors long ago. She explains that Vetto and Fana used forbidden magic that only Elves can perform, the same type of magic that was used to summon the Great Demon defeated by the first Wizard King. She further reveals that Asta's anti-magic swords are the remnants of the swords wielded by the Elves' leader, who summoned the Great Demon. Mars returns to the Diamond Kingdom intending to use the Queen's Blood Control to control the king and restructure the Diamond Kingdom's infrastructure for the better while Fana remains with Fanzell's group, Ladros deciding to help in the coupe. The Bulls return to their headquarters and give the Stone to Yami while learning other Bulls have returned their attempts: Luck and Magna have grown far more powerful from their dungeon crawl; Gordon and Gauche have become nerds after spending too long in the King's Library; and Charmy and Grey have become infested with mushroom spores from the forests. The Bulls celebrate their victory.

Hunter x Hunter: 13th Hunter Chairman Election EP#138 - Plea × and × Favor: With the elections in a stalemate, Pariston, the current vice-president, proposes a new set of rules to his fellow Zodiacs in order to solve the impasse, but the others know that he actually plans to make use of this to secure a victory for himself. Meanwhile, Killua returns home and asks his father to let him see his younger sibling Alluka, intending to use her mysterious and frightening power to grant wishes in order to save Gon's life.

Sword Art Online: Alicization EP#05 - Ocean Turtle: After being poisoned by Johnny Black, Kirito is taken to a hospital. After treating him, the doctors inform Asuna and Kirito's family that he is stable, but unconscious, and it's unknown when, or if he will ever wake up. Kikuoka then approaches them, offering to transfer Kirito to a better facility, but when Asuna and Suguha pay a visit to him there, they are denied from seeing him. With help from Yui and the rest of her friends, Asuna tracks down Kirito all the way to the port, and discovers that he must be taken to somewhere abroad. Once learning that the Soul Translator was a technology developed by Akihiko Kayaba, Asuna contacts Rinko Koujiro, Kayaba's former lover and co-researcher. Some time later, accompained by her secretary, Mayumi Reynolds, Rinko is taken to the "Ocean Turtle", an offshore research facility where he is welcomed by Kikuoka. In the occasion, Mayumi, revealing herself as Asuna in disguise, asks Kikuoka where Kirito is.

Megalo Box EP#11 - A Deadmarch: Fujimaki's men escort Nanbu to the arena where Joe is slated to fight Glen Burroughs in their semifinal match. Meanwhile, Sachio refuses to go see the fight, thinking Joe and Nanbu both abandoned him for a rigged match. Nanbu is shown to the luxury suite where Fujimaki watches the fight, as Joe appears by himself in the ring, wearing his old Gear after a visit to his old mechanic friend. Nanbu instructs Joe to take a dive in the third round, while Fujimaki keeps a close eye on Nanbu, chiding him for acting like a real coach even though he's about to make him throw the fight. Nanbu hopes that this act will repay their debt, but Fujimaki states that Joe will be under his heel forever. As Joe gets pummeled in the corner, Nanbu tries to encourage Joe to continue fighting while his Gear falls off and he hits the mat. Suddenly Sachio appears ringside, yelling at Joe not to give up. Joe gets off the mat and manages to beat Burroughs with a counterpunch, knocking him out. Meanwhile, Nanbu begins to brawl against Fujimaki's men in the suite. As one of them points a gun at him, Nanbu grabs a knife. Meanwhile, Joe and Sachio are celebrating their victory, and then race to the suite where Nanbu has stabbed his remaining eye out as payment to Fujimaki. Impressed at the spectacle, Fujimaki decides to let the three go.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable EP#26 - Janken Boy Is Coming!: Yoshihiro decides to use the arrow to make more Stand-wielding allies, first using it on a boy named Ken Oyanagi. Ken then pesters Rohan to play Janken with him, losing his first match after Rohan uses Heaven's Door to figure out his move. As Ken continues to force Rohan to play Janken with him and manages to win his third match against him, his Stand, Boy II Man, appears and tries to suck in Heaven's Door. Rohan soon learns that Ken's Stand allows him to steal energy from others and keep it if he wins three times out of five, discovering that he has already gained a third of Heaven's Door's ability. Ken then wins the fourth match, gaining more of Heaven's Door's ability and evening the score. After holding on with a pair of ties, Rohan manages to win his third match and retrieve Heaven's Door after borrowing Shizuka the invisible baby from Joseph and having her change what Ken attempted to throw out. Ken attempts to kill himself by jumping in front of a truck, but Rohan manages to use his own brand of luck to save him, convincing Ken to stop using his Stand for evil.

My Hero Academia: Forest Training Camp Arc EP#40 - Wild, Wild Pussycats: On the day of the forest lodge trip, Class 1-A and 1-B prepare to board buses. An hour later, Class 1-A's bus stops for a restroom break. Suddenly, two women wearing cat-like costumes and a small boy appear. The women introduce themselves as the professional Hero Team, The Pussycats, while the boy is revealed to be Kota, an orphan in their care who despises heroes. Mandalay tells class 1-A that they must reach the training camp at the base of the mountain by midday or they will miss lunch. Despite their best efforts, class 1-A's progress is inhibited by earthen beasts throughout the forest, controlled by Pixie-Bob with her Quirk, and the students miss their deadline by hours. However, team Pussycats is satisfied with their performances, and they are offered dinner instead. Afterwards, Class 1-A go to the hot springs for a bath. Mineta tries to peek at the girls' bath side but is prevented by Kota; Kota accidentally sees the girls and faints, but is saved by Izuku. Izuku brings the unconscious Kota to the cabin and learns the story of his parents; pro heroes who died in the line of duty.

Black Clover: Witches’ Forest Arc EP#60 - Defectors' Atonement: Fanzell confronts Mars and Ladros, who reveal they seek the Witch Queen to cure the Diamond King of a terminal illness. Fanzell, Mariella and Dominante join forces with the other mages to fight the Diamond army. Fanzell tries fighting Ladros, but Ladros reveals his surgically modified body can absorb other people's magic. He uses Fanzell’s wind magic to destroy part of the forest, killing many witches and even his own soldiers. Fanzell is injured keeping Dominante safe. Ladros rejects Fanzell’s belief that magic should be used to protect others and tries killing Dominante; however, she is rescued by Mars, who has changed since his earlier defeat and has decided to continue to follow Fanzell’s teachings. Mariella injures Ladros, but he absorbs her ice magic and Mars’ crystal magic. Mars explains they can defeat Ladros with anti-magic. He and Fanzell throw Ladros in Asta's direction. Asta pleads with Fana to surrender so she can return to her family and friends but is unsuccessful.

Hunter x Hunter: The Chimera Ant Arc EP#133 - Deadline × To × Live: Ikalgo and Palm send Welfin back with a message to the king asking for a hostage exchange. On the way, Welfin meets Youpi and decides to fight him. Meanwhile, Meruem's memories return little by little and while Pouf gets desperate upon finding a dead Youpi, Palm and Ikalgo hide Komugi in a safe place as part of their plan to stall the Chimera Ants as long as possible because according to Palm, the king has not much time left to live.
