so sad for eva. she deserved better than to go back to her toxic relationship. this glorifying of a toxic, draining, relationship makes me sick. just because jonas is a good friend doesn't make him a good boyfriend. instead of putting eva with someone who deeply cared for her, and changed and became better, with someone who made her happy, and wanted to be better and good for her, julie put her with someone who's a serial cheater. nice. really good ending.

So from now on I’m just gonna headcanon that after the finale Chris/Emma are together and so are Eva/Jonas. Pretty quickly Eva and Jonas realize that they aren’t the same people they used to be and that they truly are better off as friends. Eva begins seeing Chris with Emma a lot because both Eva and Chris hang out with Noora and William. Eva pretty quickly realizes that she has actual feelings for Chris and that she didn’t realize what she had until he was gone. They are both still friends though and they still hang out but one day she lets it slip how she doesn’t really like him with Emma and she ends up getting really worked up and rants that he isn’t in love with her, that love at first sight is total bullshit and he’s just in lust with her because he barely even knows her. That’s when it dawns on him that Eva is jealous of Emma and that she feels the same way about him that he does about her. Soon after he dumps Emma and him and Eva agree to take things slow and figure out what they really are... together.

S - show us an example of your personal headcanon

Okay well I’ve mentioned this before and I know it’s indirectly been confirmed in a way based on Facts lol but one of my biggest headcanons is that Bucky didn’t enlist but was drafted. He didn’t want to go fight, it was one of the last things he wanted to do. All he wanted was to stay home and keep his family safe and to protect Steve because god knows someone needed to be there for him to make sure he ate three square meals a day and didn’t get himself killed in an alley fight or from whatever sickness he caught next. Of course, he would never ever tell Steve that he didn’t want to fight. He’s ashamed of that, and he knows how badly Steve wants to, how high he holds soldiers and those that enlist. Bucky comes close to telling him a few times when they argue. It sits on the tip of his tongue, the one excuse that could probably get Steve off his back about his insistence that Steve stops trying to enlist. But he never tells him. He can’t tell him. Of course, Steve finds out eventually, from the museum displays and the fact that Bucky’s number started with 3 which meant he was drafted, not enlisted. He doesn’t bring it up with Bucky, but he feels a certain sadness when he looks back at everything and it fills him with an even stronger urge to destroy all of hydra.

T - if you mostly have homoships, do you have any heteroships

I do mostly have “homoships” (that’s such a weird word lol) but that doesn’t mean I don’t have “heteroships” too. A lot of them are more lowkey, like I don’t read/write for them or anything, just like them. This is minus the marvel ships bc I do kind of write them in the background lol. 

Some of which include: Pepperony; I don’t mind Steggy; Clintasha; Sam/Natasha (lowkey & idk their ship name lol); v v v v v v lowkey ship Loki/Darcy bc I’ve read it as a background pairing in fics and I liked the banter between them; Joneva; lowkey Vildus; Hinny; Peraltiago; Jess/Nick from New Girl; also Schmidt/Cece from New Girl; Leslie/Ben and Andy/April from Parks & Rec; Jim/Pam from The Office; etc.

U - if you mostly have heteroships, do you have any homoships

Okay like I said earlier, most of my ships are “homoships”

Stucky; Evak; Spierfeld; Johnlock; Wolfstar; Cartinelli; Nooreva; Elio/Oliver; Drarry (lowkey); Scorbus; Ginny/Luna; Ironstrange; Snowbaz; Laurent/Damen (v v lowkey, I don’t really read fic for them anymore and it’s been years since I read the books); Valkyrie/Sif; etc.

K - how do you feel about the other people in your current fandom

In the marvel fandom, I like them for the most part. I mean obviously there are groups of like antis and shit that are super negative and stuff, but I avoid them and talk to people that are chill to make my experience better so yeah. The people I’ve met so far and have made friends with are super awesome and I’m glad to have been able to connect with them!

In the skam fandom, which I’ve got like one foot in one foot out lol, again it’s kind of the same. I made some of the best friends I’ve ever had in this fandom and I’ll forever be grateful for that. But I’ve also run into some really nasty, toxic people in this fandom as well. Like I said though, I surround myself with the good ones to make the most of my experience. 

Y - a fandom you’re in but have no ships from

Hmm, this is kind of a hard question because like, I feel like ships are kind of what pull me into a fandom. Like, a bit part of fandom for me is the writing/reading fics, which kind of wouldn’t exist without ships. So I honestly can’t think of any fandoms I’m in without ships.

Wow. That finale was such a rollercoaster of emotions. Sana looked fabulous and her smile is literally brighter than the sun. Noorhelm and Evak were adorable as usual - I didnt expect anything less. Vilde and Chris’s conversation had me in tears. Let’s be honest, Vilde was the character who was robbed the most from Skam ending bc her character NEEDED her own season but whats done is done. And Jonas giving the final speech to parallel how he began the show was PERFECT. And the way they incorperated for the PoV was the audience watching the clips on screen and highlighting actual comments on episodes was GENIUS. I literally was sobbing. Now on to the stuff that left me feeling not so great. Yousef not coming back. I felt so led on. All we got were texts?! And he didnt even send his picture?! Like excuse me I need to see my son Yousef Acar one last time because I did not realize that last Friday was all we were gonna get!! And the WORST THING SKAM HAS EVER DONE was resulting Chris Schistad down to fucking insta-love with FUCKING EMMA. Nei nei nei. After all his GREAT build up they just threw him with the most annoying girl the could find?! I’d like a refund please. And Jonas and Eva ending up together was such a cop out. They are so bad for each other and her being with him literally undoes all the great character development she has had over the seasons. Putting them back together just for the sake of how it brings the show “full circle” is really mediocre writing and not what Eva’s character deserves at all. Especially with the added fact that even if she wasnt ready for a relationship with Chris she DEFINITELY had feelings for him. That doesnt just go away! It would be one thing if Jonas had changed too and him and Eva had grown back together over time but 1) he hasnt changed at all and 2) they were so rushed that it literally gave me whiplash. That isnt how couples should be endgame... EVER. 

But even though it may seem like I’m super pissed over the Eva/Jonas, Chris/Emma, and Yousef things in this clip, I’d still give it a 6.5/10. All in all, I loved this episode. I loved this season. And it’s pretty clear that I love this whole show. Regardless of my few issues with the show, Julie Andem is an absolute GENIUS and one of the most talented and creative women in show business. This show has been one of the most creative and well written shows that I’ve ever seen and I am so thankful that I was able to watch it in real time. So thank you Skam for opening my eyes to cultures other than my own and teaching me so many valuable lessons over the seasons. Alt er love. 💕
