I don’t know where these haters get their delusions from.
If they watched Act 2 of Wicked properly, they would realise the truth.
It’s not Glinda who saves Elphaba from being wicked in the end. It’s Fiyero.
Glinda might have come to Kiamo Ko to warn her about the witch hunters. But Elphaba doesn’t care. She only gives up when she reads the letter from Fiyero, realises he’s still alive and that they have a chance to be together.
She killed the wicked witch so that they could start over, somewhere else, away from Oz.
Love saved Elphaba in the end. But it sure as hell wasn’t Glinda’s love.

The more I watch Wicked, the more I have to question Gelphie shippers. Like she literally listened to Morrible say terrible things about the girl she claimed as her best friend a few hours before, to all of Oz, and then went and hugged her. All because she finally got the chance to be Morrible's lacky. Elphaba even calls her on it: "And if I'm flying solo, at least I'm flying FREE." I like Glinda for a redemption arc, but she kinda really sucks sometimes. Especially compared to Fiyero's reaction when hearing those same words.

Wicked Fiyeraba Headcannons:
-Fiyero def sits on Elphaba’s lap
- they call each other Yero and Fae; after the Wicked Witch persona dies, they only go by Yero and Fae so less people will be able to tie them to the dead witch and the missing prince.
- one of Fiyero’s favorite activities is to have Elphaba read to him. He finds it very relaxing, and informative. (Fiyero has dyslexia and that why he doesn’t like reading himself- but dyslexia isn’t a diagnosis in Oz, it hasn’t been recogized)
- they take care of young orphaned Animals, and Fiyero got Elphaba an egg apron so she could put all the kittens/small Animals in the pockets while she was caretaking
- Fiyero likes to draw…he draws a lot of Elphaba (and the Animals, but mostly Elphaba)
- Fiyero likes to purchase Vinkun silk scarves for Elphaba. She uses some for practical embellments in her clothing- like as a belt, shawl or hair covering. Others she keeps as house clothes- like as a night shawl. There’s one though- black with red roses- that is only used during intimacy with Fiyero.
- Elphaba and Fiyero have really complex feelings about Glinda…she was Elphaba’s close and only friend for a while, but Fiyero helped Elphaba realize that Glinda treated her like crap (this is apart from not making the sacrifices to leave with Elphaba). Elphaba also had some romantic feelings towards Glinda, and does not know what to do with those feelings. Fiyero loved Glinda, but wasn’t in love with her. He is highly aware of her faults, but still misses her and feels bad for what happened. Both realize that Glinda was manipulated by the Wizard and Madam Morrible, but both also realize that only Glinda is responsible for Glinda’s actions. And can they forgive her for being an anti-Animal/Anti-Witch propaganda machine? For helping in orchestrating Nessa’s death, and creating a trap for Elphaba? They don’t know. Together, Elphaba and Fiyero write letters to Glinda that are then burned before being sent, allowing them to work through all of these feelings and trauma they have in relation to Glinda.
- Fiyero’s favorite thing todo to annoy Elphaba is to use her butt as a pillow. Elphaba hates it (but will tolerate it) and Fiyero loves it.
-Elphaba is very passionate about a lot of stuff, and has a habit of information dumping, even when it’s considered rude. Fiyero likes it, but has felt the need to coach Elphaba for when the time is appropriate to do so, after she accidentally offended Fiyero’s mother.
- Fiyero and Elphaba do the whole “3 taps means I Love You” thing
-Fiyero likes to comb/take care of Elphaba’s hair
- Fiyero is an addict, he got addicted to a ❄️-like ozian drug while in his rebellion/coping-with-being-royalty phase. He hasn’t always been completely honest with Elphaba about it, but he got clean when he joined the Gale Force. He still had carvings, especially with his chronic pain and stress, and he tries to be as honest as possible with Elphaba about his cravings. They both use to deal with chronic pain and stress though, but in moderate amounts.
- After being tortured by the Gale Force- Fiyero develops Narceolpsey. It’s a learning curve for both him and Elphaba.
-Elphaba offered Fiyero an open relationship (not because she wanted one but because she thought he would be unhappy with just her, and the novelty would wear off). Fiyero refused (while he had been poly in the past, he refused because he knew Elphaba’s reasonings were based in her feeling inadequate and self conscious).
Hmm I’ll think of more

I need fiyeraba/Fiyero antis to do me a favor. I promise you it's very simple and only takes less than five seconds to do. You ready? Listen closely here it is:
If you don't like a ship or character, don't go into a tag and start throwing hate.
Imagine someone came into your tag to spew hate on your beloved ship and/or character. I know FOR A FACT you'd be pissed off and angry.
See how easy that was? I just did it and you can do it too!

Glinda mentions to Elphaba how Fiyero can't stop thinking about that moment in Dillamond's class, or that he's having thoughts in general and how it worries her because it's not something she's used to from him (which is him thinking about actual things), in contrast to Elphaba, who doesn't seem all that bothered and, even more so interested in the manner when Fiyero brings up how he can't stop thinking about when they rescued the lion cub. I don't know about everyone else but for me, even with this scene probably being added for lighthearted value, I also see it as another piece in the puzzle cementing how Fiyero's and Glinda's actions will, eventually, either pull them closer or further away from Elphaba. I lowkey don't like it when people act surprised or confused as to why Glinda was spelled or get annoyed that Fiyero is in her place but I, personally, don't think she would have helped in that moment, specifically in the movie.
Prior to the train scene, Glinda is shown to, not only, be completely rude and spoiled (as shown with her literally fainting over not getting her way), when in class, she publicly points out Dillamond's inability to pronounce her name correctly even though it's an obvious struggle, parading in front of the class how easier it was for her other teachers to do it, then being dismissive during the rest of the lesson when learning the importance of history and why to learn from it (correct me if I'm wrong, as it has been a minute since I've seen the movie). All that already tells me that she doesn't really care for the animals' cause, let alone enough to follow Elphaba and Fiyero into the woods after stealing the lion cub and I think, subconsciously, Elphaba knew that. In fact, I can only see Glinda trying to sway them to leave the cub and how what their new professor wanted to teach probably wasn't all that bad (not saying that she would want the cub to be harmed, just that she would try to rationalize what's going as we've seen her do before). This is the same woman who, after learning that the Wizard was a fraud and responsible for the missing and harmed animals, still tried to justify his actions and berated Elphaba for not "acting accordingly" to the news, but yet we still think she should have been there to save the lion cub? That she would have helped those animals alongside Fiyero and Elphaba? I think it could allude to how Glinda could/will be used to help further push propaganda for the Wizard, especially given how it benefits her socially, as figures of propaganda often don't think too hard, or enough to critique the system around them not because they aren't smart enough too (for the most part), but more so because they understand how their world works and understand the consequences that follow when stepping out of line.
You don't have to like Fiyeraba or even find Fiyero interesting, but to purposely ignore what the movie is presenting you is such a cop-out. Fiyero enters the film being a sort of anti-establishment-like character, caring little if he gets kicked out of Shiz for breaking the rules, or just hardly caring in general (something Elphaba calls him out for), and so on. Why wouldn't he be down to rescue the lion? Even if it was to just feed his rebellious streak, he still would have gone, but when he and Elphaba meet, he's on a talking horse and they are conversing like lifelong friends. That might add another layer to the pair saving the lion. Even if he wasn't on the same level as Elphaba at that moment, the train scene shows that it had a profound impact on him that he couldn't shake. I think, had he been presented with the choice of joining Elphaba or staying, he would have gone, not only for her but also because he now knows that the Wizard is a fraud and most definitely wouldn't stand for what he [Oz] is doing. This is what sets him apart from Glinda which, isn't necessarily me hating on her but just stating facts. Glinda isn't/won't be willing to sacrifice her position and what it brings her, until it's too late (which is the tragedy of her character and her relationship with Elphaba), while Fiyero risks everything, even to some extent his own body (Scarecrow) and, in the end, gets to stand with Elphaba.

YEAH YOU GET IT. they act like it’s a Fiyero thing but it’s not. Glinda did it first and differently/better. It’s also why I hate “you’ve been Galindafied/you don’t have to do that you know” like. all Glinda is doing is letting other people see the beauty in Elphaba she’s not trying to change her.
Popular is such a song bc it acts like it’s gonna be the classic take off glasses + let down hair = sudden beauty but that’s really not what they’re doing. because Elphaba’s green. the makeover does not change the fact that she is green which is the only impediment to her being seen as pretty. Glinda doesn’t suddenly make her pretty. Glinda just places Elphaba within a framework she understands so she can see the beauty that was always there. Glinda’s “you’re beautiful” is not her bragging the way she does throughout the rest of the song, it’s not her going I made you beautiful. it’s her being genuinely stunned by the realization that Elphaba is beautiful and always has been. Glinda just needed to place her within a familiar framework (makeover, makeup, accessories) to see what was always there.

A short discussion on Fiyeraba
I’m not necessarily anti-Fiyeraba. I don’t think that it is a bad relationship- in the musical that is. I have a few problems with the musical iteration of Elphaba and Fiyero’s relationship, but it’s relatively okay. Please watch this video about why it’s mediocre. My problem comes from the book version of their relationship. It is troubling, and I would even go so far as to say disturbing.
To start with, in their Shiz days, Elphaba and Fiyero have very limited interaction, only having contact with each other in the context of their wider group hanging out (Glinda, Boq, Avaric, Crope, Tibbett, and Nessa, along with Nanny). This isn’t unusual, it is just a deviation the musical took from the book. The relationship between Elphaba and Fiyero properly begins a few years later in the slums of Emerald city.  Elphaba is praying in church at a cloister of St Glinda (the reason for which she never tells Fiyero), and Fiyero recognises and approaches her. Elphaba vehemently denies knowing him and attempts to escape, even going so far as to use the back door of the church- this is where it gets bizarre and upsetting.
Wanting to pursue her, Fiyero asks the people working at the church if there was a back exit, knowing that Elphaba would be trying to escape that way, and he finds her and follows her home. There’s a bit of a cat and mouse game wherein Elphaba is really trying quite hard to shake Fiyero off around alleyways, but he keeps catching up to her. Eventually she makes it to where she’s residing, a worn out upstairs shack, and Fiyero gets to her. It is at this point on her doorstep that she tells him to leave her alone, to which he responds with this:
‘I’m not going rape or kidnap you, I just want to talk’. Which is terrifying. After some pressure, she eventually lets him in and gives him some food, telling him to eat and then leave. She is clearly unhappy about Fiyero being there and wants him gone. They talk for a bit and then Fiyero leaves. Elphaba tells him to not come back for his own safety.
He does come back. And he keeps coming back, which for some reason Elphaba doesn’t question.
It is at this point after an emotional outburst from Elphaba that they start a sexual relationship, though it is unclear as to whether feelings have developed at this point. It should be noted that Elphaba does not let Fiyero touch her beneath the waist (it is implied that Elphaba is intersex). After a few weeks Fiyero comes and goes for sex and discussion, and Elphaba is doing domestic things like baking vegetable pies for him. Fiyero questions whether he is in love with her or not.
It should also be noted that at this point Fiyero has three children with his wife Sarima, who Elphaba later stays with to try and work things out with her following Fiyero’s death and her 7 year stay as a silent nun.
Elphaba calls Fiyero ‘my hero’, and they continue their relationship until Fiyero is killed. Elphaba later goes on to give birth to their son Liir whilst in a shock induced coma.
This relationship is very troubling to me, as it represents several very frightening realities so casually. First of all, that of a man going out of his way to pursue a clearly unwilling woman and forcing his way into her life. Statements such as ‘I’m not going to rape or kidnap you’ are words that many women have heard, and then suffered the reality of. He may not have done either of those things, but it is very intimidating.
Second, is Elphaba’s almost immediate acceptance of Fiyero. She pushes him away, avoids him, tells him to leave (as she should), and then within a few weeks she’s cooking for him and having sex with him.
Finally, I must stress that when their relationship began, Fiyero was married and had three children. I understand that love is complicated, and that Fiyero and Sarima’s marriage was purely political. However, when his physical relationship with Elphaba began, he did not love her. He was simply sexually attracted to her.
I am not denying that Elphaba had strong feelings for Fiyero. The problem is the premise of their relationship. I do think that this is partly just Gregory Maguire’s interpretation of heterosexual relationships. However, it is still troubling and unpleasant to read, especially if you’re a woman. A disturbing relationship that has been heavily romanticised by both author and reader.
As previously stated, the musical version is not really that troubling, though please watch that video on why it’s still not that great.
In the musical, Fiyero is an existential, nihilistic prince who yearns to find his place in the world. In the book he is a Winkie prince in an arranged marriage who comes across Elphaba through circumstance, and then by chance.
It should also be understood that neither Fiyero nor Glinda are in the book a whole lot. They are not the main characters. They have some importance, but the main character is Elphaba. The book is not a romance, it is a scathing indictment of imperialism and dictatorship told through an ostracised woman’s philosophical narrative.

Funnily enough, Dove Cameron was once Kristin Chenoweth’s pick for Glinda. I have no doubt she would’ve done a great job too. The only question is, would she have brought that same dyke energy to Gaylinda Uplesbian as Ariana did? And outside of the film, would she be the #1 lesbian Glinda/Gelphie truther? Would she have been hilariously unhinged by expressing anti-Fiyeraba feelings in the official commentary? Who can say but thank god for Miss Ariana Grande, a sentiment I could not have imagined feeling 3 months ago.
YESS!!! I actually know dove cameron from descendants where she played kristin chenoweth's daughter (i still listen to their duet from the first movie from time to time it's so good urgh).
She did a PHENOMENAL job there. I don't know if she could've lived up to the dykeness of it all like Miss Yuriana Grande did but she's got the voice and the face and the comedic talent AND the emotion to play Glinda tbh
But ya lettuce be glad that ariana got the role lmao. The way she's like. Almost singlehandedly responsible for one of the most iconic press tours in history simply by being like. SO in the gelphie trenches. Gay icon

so,i just realized what bothers me with fiyeraba,,
just lemme take this out off the way, i didn't read the book - and i dont plan on doing so ‘cause im lazy as fuck- so its musical fiyeraba,anyways....
besides feeling that fiyeraba kinda comes out of nowhere (like i know they cant spend too much time developing the relationship its a live show, other things needs to happen,we understand!),its the fact that fiyero was glinda’s boyfriend that piss me off,,,like ‘im with this girl bUT HER B E S T F R I E N D caught my attention, and i think im falling in love with her,but im so NOT breaking up with my girlfriend!’ and then elphaba becomes a wanted criminal disappears for like years, fiyero in love with her while STILL BEING WITH GLINDA,they get engaged (that one is on glinda, but he still accepts)then elphie is all BIBBIDI BOBBIDI BOO IM BACK!  AND WHAT HE DOES????FUCKING RUNS AWAY WITH ELPHABA WITH THE LAST THING FIYERO SAYS TO HIS FIANCEE (that rightfully assumes they are cheating fucks i would assume the same girl) IS  ‘’well,it was...but it wasn’t...’’ THATS NOT A EXPLANATION LIKE WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUCK UUUURRRRRGHHHHHH,,,,THAT PISS ME OFF SO MUCH ( i know i know, later glinda is all ‘’ he loves her more’’ or sumn) THE POINT IS why w h y WHY didn't you just wrote fiyeraba from the beginning without all that stupid ass love triangle drama,so this ship wouldn't feel so fucking DIRTY ,, and I KNOW ITS NOT, and its very unfair to the ship but it really pisses me off .
