Part 3 - 10 to 1
10. Future & Rihanna – Selfish: https://youtu.be/_JzGyMBms_M
8. Fergie & Nicki Minaj – You Already Know: https://youtu.be/-Ifnaxi2LQg
"Writer in the Dark" séduit surtout par la fulgurance des images impressionnistes ("I'll love you 'til you call the cops on me "), là où "Liability" fonctionne de manière cinématographique.

Sienna Miller Swears by SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Serum
Tumblr media
When it comes to deciphering whether or not a skincare product is actually any good, I fully understand how difficult it can be. Trying to work out exactly what claims should be taken seriously (and what should be written off as marketing gibberish) can prove frustrating to say the least. And when the skincare product in question already has a lot of buzz around it and comes with a hefty price tag, it’s all the more likely for confusion to hit fever pitch. Evidently, it seems this is exactly how a lot of people feel about SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Serum (£135). Used by celebrities such as Sienna Miller and Hailey Bieber and loved by skincare experts and beauty editors far and wide, this rather expensive skincare product has caused quite the commotion in the industry over the last few years. In fact, I’d go as far as to say that this little bottle of serum has been my most asked-about product by friends and colleagues. Photo: @WENDYROWE First of all, I’d like to address the price tag. Yes, it is incredibly expensive, and I would never claim that anyone needs to spend £135 on a serum. However, I must admit that it is an unbelievably great product. Containing an extremely potent blend of vitamin C, E and ferulic acid, this serum is widely considered one of the most efficacious antioxidant serums out there. It works to protect the skin from skin-damaging free radicals and helps brighten and reduce the appearance of existing pigmentation and fine lines. Honestly, out of the hundreds of skincare products I have tried in my time as a beauty editor, nothing helps my skin quite like SkinCeuticals’ C E Ferulic. But a word of warning: This isn’t your typical luxury product. Typically, spending £100+ on a skincare product might buy you a deeply nourishing La Mer face cream or a rich La Prairie eye cream, however, purchasing this serum isn’t going to give you an at-home spa experience. It’s clinical skincare that means business—it’s formulated to treat your skin above anything else and it doesn’t come decorated in luxe packaging with a fancy smell or texture. It looks basic, but the results are far from it. And personally, I think the results are what makes it such a hit among the A-list. It works to protect their skin from daily damage to ensure their complexions are at their most glowy day in and day out. Keep scrolling to discover which celebrities swear by this cult antioxidant serum, and then shop it for yourself. Photo: @WENDYROWE While Sienna’s complexion is virtually flawless, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have to work for it. Speaking to The Telegraph, she said, “I see the facialist Una Brennan, who operates out of her living-room in Notting Hill in London—I call it Una’s Chambers. It’s a pretty intense experience: She uses freezing ice masks that make you feel as if your brain is going to fall out of the top of your head. You look wonderful afterwards, though. Una got me on to SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Serum and now I use it every day.” Photo: @HAILEYBIEBER Hailey recently took to her Instagram stories to reveal her current skincare lineup, including some products she’s been using for years. And what serum featured in her roundup? You guessed it. Alongside a picture of the SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Serum, she wrote, “this serum is a favorite of mine.” Photo: @TYRONMACHHAUSEN Besides the fact that it works to reduce signs of ageing and protect your skin from further damage, Jessica Chastain uses the serum to make her suncream work harder. Talking to Vogue , she said: “I read a while ago that if you put vitamin C on before sunscreen it makes the sunscreen more effective, so I do that. I like SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic. Just a couple of drops every day before sunscreen.” Photo: @BROOKESHIELDS At 54 years old, we’re totally blown away by the amazing condition of Brooke Shields skin, and she puts her anti-ageing luck down to SkinCeuticals’ C E Ferulic Serum. She told Redbook Redbook , “I’m obsessed with SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Serum. It’s packed with antioxidants and really brightens my skin, and since I began using it, I’ve noticed a difference in my fine lines.” Shop the Serum p C E Ferulic Serum (£135) Next up, these youth drops are so good they sell every 27 seconds, and I’m obsessed.

3pm on June 29th, a raucous crowd of 150 young people had gathered at the corner of Surrey Street and the Strand in central London. Though few would have guessed it from their heavy-for-the-weather streetwear – down jackets, tracksuits, layered T-shirts, baseball caps and beanies – they were the cognoscenti. Although it was a full 17 hours before the official announcement, they knew that the shuttered shop front on this unremarkable block, situated between Somerset House and the Royal Courts of Justice, was where it was going to happen.
To most passers-by, it – the release of a collection of clothing made by two fashion brands working in collaboration – would have meant nothing. Yet to this excited cluster, the hundreds who would join them the following day, plus the thousands more who would line the streets (many having slept on them overnight) at similar pop-up launches in Tokyo, Paris, Los Angeles, Beijing, Sydney, Seoul and Miami, this event meant a great deal indeed. For they were about to witness the result of a union between the world’s most famous luxury brand, 163-year-old Louis Vuitton, and the world’s most famous streetwear brand, 23-year-old Supreme.
“This is pretty much uncharted territory,” said Martin Ologunja, 19 years old, from Hackney. “As a Supreme head, I was never expecting it to get into the high-fashion side. And I’ve got the utmost respect for LV.”
Richard Blackman, also 19, added that he had come because of a rumour on Instagram. He said: “I’m here for the culture of hype products. Supreme is a really nice fashion brand – a street brand – that most of us kids wear.”
Were they hoping to flip (resell, in street parlance)? “Absolutely!” said Alex Tarrant, 18: “I think the profits could be in the thousands.” Ologunja said, “One person said to me that resellers are the new drug dealers, but I don’t think so. I think resellers are the new art dealers.”
Just then, a bald and bearded American-accented man in a suit – a suit! – shouted for attention. We gathered around him. “Congratulations to you all,” he said. “You are the first! You made it! But the council and the police are adamant – nobody can loiter on the street, so if you do, there will be nothing happening here. There will be announcements on social media.” Slowly, and with some chagrin, we straggled down the pavement towards a Pret A Manger.
This curious scene was elegantly explained in economic terms by Adita Varavina-Grover, 18, who (exam results permitting) hopes to take up an offer to study at the London School of Economics this September. “The more limited the item is, the more stressed out people get. It’s like inelastic demand. Even if the price goes up the demand will always stay the same, because of all this hype.”
were already rumours (there always are), but that hype officially began in January during the Spring/Summer men’s fashion shows in Paris. Kim Jones, who has overseen the menswear designs at Louis Vuitton since 2011, invited me to preview his collection the day before his show at his sprawling studio in the former headquarters of the La Samaritaine department store. His main collection, the exclusively Louis Vuitton stuff, was beautiful: a New York-artist-inspired wardrobe of loose-cut clothes in cashmere, vicuña, silk and denim which referenced Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol among others.
This was advanced menswear for PhD-level aesthetes, requiring a certain connoisseurship – luxury masculine geekery – to read and relish it in full. Scattered within it, however, were items with a much more direct message: baseball shirts and work jackets in light Japanese denim on which was a grid of tufted shapes – the famous LV monogram pattern interspersed with the word “Supreme” in larger sans-serif letters. The same combination was on sneakers, backpacks, holdalls and a trove of other accessories that ran from bottle openers and pen-knives to handkerchiefs and badges. There were even trunks – Louis Vuitton’s original product – including one designed especially to hold a LVXSupreme patterned skateboard.
Ah, the irony of that skateboard! In 2000, Supreme released a skateboard deck upon which was decaled Vuitton’s monogram pattern, but with the LV replaced by an S. It was blatant and shameless logo abuse. Two weeks later, after Vuitton threatened a lawsuit, it was withdrawn. Now Vuitton – the Paris label positioned at the top-most point of the pyramid of the world’s largest luxury conglomerate – was working with a vaingloriously named unluxury New York upstart that it once rightfully accused of copyright infringement. How come?
It was chiefly down to Jones. “Michael Burke, the CEO of Louis Vuitton, called me up one day and said, ‘Do you know the people at Supreme, because I’m really interested in the brand and would like to talk to its founder’, who’s James Jebbia, whom I know. So I said ‘You can get his number off me if we can do a collaboration with them!’ And we sort of started from there.” Work on the collaboration, he said, had already been under way for over a year. “In this world where everyone wants the new, new, new, it’s nice to be able to throw in something that’s completely fresh…all I’m trying to do is create customer excitement and create things that I enjoy.”
At Louis Vuitton’s show the next morning the rapper Travis Scott took his seat on the front row wearing a T-shirt bearing the Supreme white-on-red box logo and the LV initials. David Beckham wasn’t wearing the collaboration – he opted for Louis Vuitton proper – but said that his kids were “really into” Supreme. Kate Moss fondly recalled that in the mid-1990s Supreme once appropriated and repurposed (in Supreme parlance, logo-flipped) a fashion campaign she’d done for Calvin Klein. “Later,” she added, “when they’d made loads of money they paid me to do an ad.”
Out came the collection. Around Jones’s core of refined raffishness, those Supreme pieces were strung like scarlet tinsel. Online, websites that specifically cater to “streetwear” – sports, work and military-attire-based fashion labels – exploded in rapture. The rumours were true! Their beloved anti-establishment upstart and the world’s most famous, establishment luxury brand were expecting! By June expectation had matured to fever pitch.
Supreme was created by James Jebbia, who moved from Britain to New York in the 1980s, after stints running a wholesale fashion store and working alongside Sean Stussy – streetwear’s equivalent to high fashion’s Coco Chanel – in the opening of a Stussy boutique.
As an explicitly skateboarding-inspired label, Supreme has long harnessed the sport’s image as a rebellious, artistic and sometimes illegal passion. Its own logo is strikingly similar to graphic elements and fonts in the work of artist Barbara Kruger – an inspiration Jebbia has acknowledged. The Louis Vuitton and Calvin Klein “logo-flips” are not Supreme’s only copyright infringements, but many of its collaborations are consensual.
These feed its retail operation – ten stores around the world plus a website selling goods with low production costs such as cotton T-shirts, maple skate decks and nylon jackets – which borrows much from high luxury’s business model. Each line is sold in strictly limited numbers. New goods are released in “drops” every Thursday, encouraging fans to queue every week to check out the new items before they disappear, perhaps for ever.
Justin Bieber has the LVxSupreme fever
That has created a community of fans – most of them young, along with others who wish they still were – who have defined themselves as a tribe while waiting in line. And the policy of enforced scarcity has enlarged further the community of Supreme-lovers by creating a frenzied secondary market within which the goods are traded and speculated upon.
For Louis Vuitton, the value of the collaboration lies in those kids. For Supreme, the sight of its street-rat logo on one of the world’s most venerable and iconic luxury products, a Louis Vuitton trunk, represents a stratospheric status upgrade – as if Banksy were hung in the Louvre. To have its co-branded products both manufactured and sold by Louis Vuitton – yet under Supreme-curated conditions of hype – is one in the eye for anyone who reckons it is an all-mouth-no-trousers brand for suggestible kids.
10am on Day One of the sale, a queue of about 600 people stretched down the Strand and along Surrey Street. Martin, Richard, Alex and Adita were all there. Running the queue for Louis Vuitton was security specialist Lex Showumni. “This is my first experience with Supreme. I was told it was going to be crazy, a lot of people pushing and shoving, but we haven’t experienced that so far.” The Supreme faithful have their own, slightly dubious, process of queue-management based on attendance and standing. It mostly works, but some people were unhappy: a trader had left the head of the queue to withdraw £12,000 from an ATM. He returned without the cash having lost his number 1 spot; eventually, after some animated discussion, he slipped back in near the front.
Each customer was admitted to the store for 15 minutes and allowed to buy six items. Successful trophy hunters included Ari Petrou, with a flipped T-shirt (around £400), that he was definitely keeping. Jeremy Wilson bagged a coveted red-logo baseball shirt (£730) that he planned to resell.
Within an hour, three main secondary exchanges had been set up outside the official store: one in the Pret A Manger, the other beneath a tree, and the third next to a municipal toilet. One dealer, who asked not to be named, explained that he had paid ten people a set fee to get early places in the queue and would give them a cut of the resale value of anything they could get their hands on. “It’s business!” he laughed. Wodges of cash were exchanged and stashed in newly acquired Louis Vuitton bags.
One of the trunks, priced at £40,000, remained unsold while I was there. A young dealer agonised about whether he should borrow the cash and risk everything on it. Perhaps fortunately, it was way out of Martin Ologunja’s league. He emerged, disconsolate, with nothing. “A lot of the ready-to-wear is gone. No T-shirts, no hoodies, they haven’t even got a lot of the collection. Apparently Tokyo is getting the red stuff this week and we are getting the black. There was pretty much nothing I wanted.”
Would he return? “Definitely! I’m coming every day. I’m not ready to swallow this. I’ll be back!”

In a World Embracing “Ageless Fashion,” Is 80 the New 20?
FASHION’s March issue is all about women who are in their element, from Big Little Lies’ Zoë Kravitz–who talks about embracing her natural beauty and surrounding herself with strong women in our cover story–to older women who continue to strive later in life. Below, Courtney Shea explores the current golden age of women’s golden years.
Mrs. Robinson didn’t have a first name. When the seminal ’60s movie The Graduate debuted in December 1967, the idea that Dustin Hoffman’s 21-year-old would refer to his older lover using anything other than a formal honorific was laughable. Just the notion that a man in his 20s might be interested in a woman almost twice his age was explosive enough to inspire the entire plot of an almost two-hour movie. “I think you’re the most attractive of all my parents’ friends,” Hoffman’s Ben tells Anne Bancroft’s “Mrs.” shortly before hopping into bed with her, further underscoring the idea that she was majorly hot—for a mom.
Fast-forward 50 years and the pairing of younger men and older women is barely worth an eyelash-bat: Heidi Klum (44) recently dated Vito Schnabel (31), who previously dated Demi Moore (55), who was once married to Ashton Kutcher (39). Madonna (59) apparently dumped her 26-year-old boyfriend to date a more mature 31-year-old last summer, around the same time that Kate Beckinsale (44) was photographed smooching a guy whose mom is reportedly younger than she is. True, the age difference between French president Emmanuel Macron (40) and his 64-year-old wife formed a major narrative during last summer’s election—but he won.
And it’s not just in the dating world where “women of a certain age” are enjoying some long overdue adulation. This past fall, 73-year-old Lauren Hutton became the oldest woman ever to appear on the cover of Vogue, around the same time that Allure announced its decision to ban the term “anti-aging” in its publication. “Whether we know it or not,” wrote editor-in-chief Michelle Lee, “[the term is] subtly reinforcing the message that aging is a condition we need to battle.” At the 2017 Emmy Awards, 14 of the 19 actresses nominated for leading roles were 40-plus (more than half were over 50), including Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman of Big Little Lies—a show that proves teenage Gossip Girls ain’t got nothing on Monterey moms.
Here in Canada, Atwood Mania is the new Bieber Fever, Shania Twain’s latest album debuted at the top of the Billboard charts and Céline Dion (a celebrity who, until recently, could have lost a cool-off against Barney the Dinosaur, has become the fashion world’s most unlikely It girl—make that It woman—just before her 50th birthday). Dion’s improbable ascent peaked last summer at Paris Fashion Week, where her street style wardrobe earned props from all the right peeps: Vogue gave her her own hashtag (#CelineTakesCouture). Drake even said he may get a tattoo of her, which is—let’s face it—the greatest stamp of approval this modern era has to offer. On the topic of tattoos, 83-year-old Judi Dench recently admitted to getting inked for the first time two years ago—block letters spelling out two words across her inner wrist: “Carpe Diem.”
Whereas in previous generations menopause may well have been an invitation to slip into a pair of house slippers and hunker down in front of The Price Is Right, today women in their so-called “third chapter” are, indeed, seizing the day.
Whereas in previous generations menopause may well have been an invitation to slip into a pair of house slippers and hunker down in front of The Price Is Right, today women in their so-called “third chapter” are, indeed, seizing the day. In 2016, 50-year-old tech entrepreneur Gina Pell coined the term “Perennial” to describe individuals of various ages linked by the desire to live in the present and keep up with trends and technology and the refusal to be defined by their birth year.
Nowhere is this so-called “generational blurring” more visible than in the style realm, where so-called “ageless fashion” has become both a movement (the rejecting of the notion that individuals must follow fashion rules in accordance with their age) and an important marketing insight, considering the buying power of both young and old.
“It used to be that women kind of aged out of mainstream fashion,” says Susie Sheffman, a creative director and stylist based in Toronto. Born at the tail end of the boomer generation, she says it makes sense to see her age group throwing out the rule book: “We burned our bras, we were the youthquake of the ’60s.” At 58, Sheffman will often find herself gravitating to the same clothing as her 25-year-old daughter (though they wear their pieces differently), and when she pulls looks for models and clients, she rarely thinks in terms of age-appropriate. She recently posed for a magazine shot in a jean miniskirt and a hoodie. “It’s hard to imagine my mom in something similar.”
I can remember my own mom telling me that after a certain age, a woman in jeans looked a little bit desperate. Mind you, she said that 20 years ago—before major fashion campaigns featured the likes of Joni Mitchell (74), Joan Didion (83) and Iris Apfel (96) for Saint Laurent, Céline and Kate Spade respectively; before hipster fashion grannies were among the hottest Instagram influencers; and before 20-somethings like Ariana Grande and Cara Delevingne started sporting grey hair—on purpose. The result is a Wild West where the old rules don’t apply. “It’s funny, because I think there are some women who wish some of the rules would come back,” says Sheffman, speaking of formerly tried-and-true guidelines, like your shoes should match your purse or your age should match your hemline. “There’s a lot of confusion out there. Women are afraid to make costly mistakes, and rules can help—but, sorry, those days are over.” So there’s a lot of pressure.
It’s easy to see why a mature woman might be all too happy to throw on a pair of Vans if that means maintaining her status as a valuable member of society. But she shouldn’t have to.
It’s no wonder that women have been so eager to enjoy an extended juvenescence given the alternative. The “Invisible Women Syndrome” describes the social phenomenon in which females over 40 often feel completely unnoticed—to not only the lewd catcallers at construction sites but also potential employers, suitors, store clerks and society in general. Preternaturally gorgeous 73-year-old Vogue cover models notwithstanding, women continue to experience appearance-based judgment and ageism at rates that vastly outpace their male counterparts. Maybe you saw the American presidential race, where, at 68, Hillary Clinton was often slagged as a potential “Granny in Chief” (her routine bout with pneumonia was covered as if she’d contracted the plague), while Donald Trump’s age—70—never came up. In this context, it’s easy to see why a mature woman might be all too happy to throw on a pair of Vans if that means maintaining her status as a valuable member of society. But she shouldn’t have to.
And here’s where the whole age-free ethos falls apart a bit. Because, sure, 50 is the new 30, Big Little Lies is the new Pretty Little Liars and so on, but what are we actually celebrating when we applaud older women for cheating time? “Anti-aging” may be out, but the related industry is booming—it’s expected to be valued at $269.25 billion by 2021. Which is an ironic but also a direct and totally logical consequence of a culture touting old as “the new young.”
People recently shared the backstory behind Queen Céline’s sartorial transformation: Inspired by the red carpet looks of Zendaya, she hired the actress/singer’s stylist to retool her look. So after a decades-spanning, chart-topping career, Dion was finally deemed “cool” by patterning herself after a woman who was a year old when Titanic came out. Which is not a bad thing—let’s not forget what it is we’re assigning value to when we praise older women.

In The Graduate, what was so great about Elaine, Mrs. Robinson’s 19-year-old daughter whom Ben ultimately runs off with? Sure, she was pretty, but Mrs. Robinson was ridiculously sexy. Emotionally damaged, maybe, but let’s just put that down to a repressive society. I’m pretty sure that today Ben would have chosen the older model. And he would have called her “Barb.”
We all want to slay our goals, revel in success at work and at home and feel comfortable in our own skin…to truly be in our element. But that looks different, depending on where you are in life. Click here to see what being in one’s element looks like for women of all ages.

Grammy Awards 2017: Os 10 melhores e piores momentos na premiação
Tumblr media
1. A família Carter-Knowles
Tumblr media
5. Rihanna bêbada
Tumblr media
8. Chance The Rapper
Tumblr media

Prevage Review: Don’t Buy Before You Read This!
What is it?
Prevage is a topical skin cream that is designed to provide daily facial care, moisturization, and nourishment. Their advertising claims that Prevage helps fight against environmental damage and the damaging effects of free radicals. They also say that within a week users will look younger, healthier, and shinier, with more even skin tone and texture.
Our panel of health, wellness, and beauty experts has decided that the most effective option for the majority of consumers is Kremotex. Kremotex is a powerful moisturizer that also works to improve overall skin health at every level. Click here to see what Kremotex’s process is.
Do You Know the Best Anti-Aging Creams of 2016?
Prevage Ingredients and Side Effects
Oddly, Prevage does not publish their complete ingredients list online. In this day and age of information technology the vast majority of reputable brands make their entire ingredients list – both active and inactive ingredients – available to the public.
Quality products do this because they benefit from ease of comparison to inferior competitors. It raises serious questions about what is – and what isn’t – included in Prevage’s blend.
Information gathered from their website and from several independent reviewers concludes that Prevage contains at least these six ingredients:
Idebenone Ester Lipochroman-6 Green Tea Extract Soy Ferulate C
Idebenone Ester: This is the main ingredient that Prevage highlights on their website, calling it the most antioxidant rich substance on the planet.
There is no clinical data to back that claim up, and it is largely a question of dosage more than anything. It is also thought to be high in vitamin C, vitamin E, and coenzyme Q10, which are all basic chemicals that are relevant to the body’s skin care process.
The lack of third party data about idebenone also means that we have very little information about possible side effects, drug interactions, or long-term consequences of regular usage. As of now there is no data that suggests that it may be hazardous, however there is also no data that proves it’s safe.
Lipochroman-6: A newly synthesized chemical that has antioxidant properties and acts as a fatty acid, both of which can have benefits for the skin.
Antioxidants are important because they fight the free radicals that destroy cell walls and lead to sagging dull skin. Fatty acids are useful as a smoothing agent and, though they don’t have any real medicinal or therapeutic value, they can be helpful in skin car blends.
There is very little information about exactly how potent lipochroman-6 is in either of those capacities, or about its long-term safety. As of now there have been no side effects associated with its use that have been reported.
Green Tea Extract: Derivatives of the common plant that’s used to make beverages, food products, and personal care items. Green tea is also high in antioxidants and polyphenols, though most of its benefits have been shown to come when ingested rather than when applied topically.
Green tea has been used in some home remedies for a wide variety of conditions, however the only application that it has been proven effective for is genital warts. There can be some serious consequences related to overconsumption of green tea, however it is thought to be safe when applied to the skin.
Soy Ferulate C: An extract from the soybean that has been synthesized with vitamin C. As mentioned, vitamin C is one of the basic nutrients needed for skin health, however less is known about the impact of soy extracts.
There has been some study that soy isoflavones can have a beneficial impact on skin elasticity, however that research is still in its infancy. There are some concerns that those isoflavones are phytoestrogens that can have the same effect on the body as estrogen supplements, which are controversial to say the least.
Soy is one of the more common food allergies in the world, and those individuals with soy sensitivities will want to avoid Prevage. It may also potentially be linked to conditions such as
Constipation
Nausea
Diabetes complications
Abnormal uterine tissue growth
Elevated cancer risk
Soy is not recommended for children or pregnant or breast feeding women. It should also be avoided by anyone with preexisting kidney, thyroid or asthma issues, as well as those with milk and hay fever sensitivities.
Follow this link to see which skin care products tested the highest in our experts’ ongoing series of clinical trials.
EDITOR’S TIP: Combine this product with a proven anti-aging cream such as Kremotex for better results.
Prevage Quality of Ingredients
It was very difficult for our team of experts to assess the overall quality of Prevage for several reasons. One is that without the full ingredients list it is impossible to know if there is anything in their blend like denatured alcohol or sodium hydroxide that are commonly used to trick consumers into thinking that products are working when in fact they do more damage in the long-term than good.
For that alone our experts would probably not recommend Prevage, however they had some issues with other aspects of their product as well. One was the massively untested nature of most of their ingredients. Long-term studies need to be done to determine the safety and effectiveness of all of these new chemicals, especially given that this is supposed to be an every day product.
Another problem that they had was that there is very little in Prevage that helps with collagen production, cellular function, or other core skin health issues beyond just basic vitamins and nutrients. Vitamin C is crucial for skin care, but it’s also available in nearly every over the counter lotion, moisturizer, and skin cream on the market that’s even moderately effective.
Follow this link to learned which skin care products tested the highest for improving the skin’s tensile strength and resiliency.
The Price and Quality of Prevage
Prevage is available through their home website and a number of other online retailers. The price can vary somewhat, depending on the source, but no matter where you find it Prevage is amongst the most expensive skin care products on the market today. This was the most common price for Prevage online:
1, 1.7 oz tube of Elizabeth Arden Prevage daily serum: $162.00
It is surprising that a product this expensive utilizes active ingredients that are as effective as the $10 cream from a corner store, but less reliable. Our readers are encouraged to compare prices and ingredients, as there are certainly better values out there than Prevage.
For more information about the skin care products that were the best at increasing collagen production, cellular action, and overall dermal wellness, click here.
Business of Prevage
Prevage is manufactured by cosmetics giant Elizabeth Arden. They can be reached through these channels:
Phone Number: (855) 289-6405
Address: 309 South St
New Providence, NJ 07974-2110
Email: Elizabeth Arden does not make an email address public, however they do have a customer feedback form on their website for all electronic communications.
It should be noted that Elizabeth Arden has an “F” rating with the BBB, due mainly to the high volume of formal complaints that they’ve received that have gone unaddressed by the company. They have also been the target of multiple lawsuits recently alleging unauthorized use of ingredients, misleading advertising, and trying to cheat pop star Britney Spears out of $10 million dollars of earnings from her fragrance line. They are also the company that is responsible for Justin Bieber brand fragrances.
The top brands of over the counter skin care products can be compared against one another by following this link.
EDITOR’S TIP: For the best results, our experts recommend using anti-aging creams for at least 3 months. Save your money by buying a few bottles at once.
Customer Opinions of Prevage
The Elizabeth Arden brand has its supporters, however many people that have tried Prevage recently have posted comments similar to these:
“Stinky and crusty, and didn’t really work – oh, and don’t get it in your eyes! Ouch!”
“Don’t waste your money. I used Prevage for about a week with no results, then I started breaking out. Now I’m back to my original face cream but I’m $160 poorer.”
Most of the complaints were about the fact that the product did not live up to its price or advertising claims, however there were also quite a few criticisms of the smell and texture of the cream. A number of reports online indicate that there may be unauthorized sellers distributing products under this brand name, and users are cautioned to beware of disreputable dealers.
Click here to see how all of the biggest brands of skin care products fared under the scrutiny of our third party evaluators.
Conclusion – Does Prevage Work?
After reviewing all of the relevant information that our panel of experts had access to, their conclusion was that Prevage will generally be a mildly effective, though vastly overpriced, skin care product.
Its effects will not be as noticeable as other products that use more collagen boosting agents or impact core cellular health, however it seems to be mostly safe. That said, without the full ingredients panel it is impossible to say this for sure.
Our team ultimately does not recommend Prevage because of how easy it is to find a superior product that is more forthcoming about their ingredients that costs less money.
The skin cream that they do recommend for most users is Kremotex. Kremotex is an apple stem cell based daily care product that also fights inflammation and boosts elastin production. Click here to see all of the benefits that Kremotex can have for users’ skin.
