i haven't started summer troupe act 2 yet (come to think of it, i actually need to get to one day princess first!) but. ive been periodically listening to a3 music lately and i swear every time i check the music page on the wiki to see song credits im reminded that i can literally never stray too far away from my vocaloid roots haha... i mean ig it makes sense its like. people who make music also work on. other music. but its still sooo funn to see! like wow. yuyoyuppe's done some of my favorite tracks on a3 and produces for babymetal AND is the originator of some of my fav vocaloid tracks... sasakure.uk worked on hisoka's character song! (that one i didnt even have to look up, i heard the first five seconds and went oh this is so much like little cry of the abyss aka one of my favorite songs of all time. highly recommend if u liked traumerei and void) anyways. its just. its nice. i was reminiscing abt the music i liked today and wanted to check the lyrics of MKDR since it's one of my fav deco27 songs and then boom credited for arrangement is emon(tes.) chikage and homare's chara songs are written by the guy who did the gsnk opening. hes credited on other a3 stuff too. i think what i'm realizing by this is just like. ...huh, i listen to a lot of j-music. still! every time i recognize another name or something clicks its so fun for me. like im carrying my own secret web of music
ohmygod
first of all, take your time as always, there's no rush, the archive isn't going anywhere ;D you'll get there
But as for the music, first of all, i feel you, bc the music is banger, which i don't need to tell you since you know it in way better details than i do
it's incredible that you could find this much references to things you've been into in the discography holy shit. Like yeah sure it makes sense music maker also made for good music producers but it's still two words that collide!! that's wild. I listened to a few Vocaloid when i was younger but their songs has always been good!! and it's funny bc when i was younger, saying of any J-music "it reminds me of Vocaloid" used to get you the stinky eye on the assumption people would make that just "yeah so you just think J-music is the same", which is! absolutely never what i would mean by that, but therefore i've kept for myself all this time "Hisoka's first solo really sounds like a Vocaloid's song" and the fact you, a pro, comes and tell me not only exactly that it's because it was composed by a Vocaloid composer, but that their musical style is shining through, is really gratifying. I'll definitely need to check out the Vocaloid songs he worked on, i really love traumerei and i would love to hear more by this artist.
And i'm losing my mind over the fact Chikage and Homare's songs were written by the guy who did the gnsk's opening???? I LOVE this song, it's been in my banger playlists in forever, and you're telling me the guy went to a3 and decided to write two others bangers? (two of my most listened solos at that??) that's so damn cool, worlds collide hard but in such a fun way.
Thank you so much for sharing a bit of your little secret with me, it was like opening the door to a whole lot of possibilities. It's one thing to know that most of the composers/arrangers worked on Vocaloid or various songs, it's another to point out to those specific songs and get a blast once you connect the two, and i appreciate you sharing that with me.
It's really so nice, thank you so much for sharing <33

Firstly, “Nautilus Pompilius” is officially an Avior band and I’m not taking any criticism on that.
Secondly, I have an extremely angsty headcanon and an equally angsty song to support it. So what if Avior got out of his hell prison. What if Starlight managed to get him out but accidentally got stuck themselves. The initial feeling of high and happiness is immediately replaced with devastation. The place he so desperately struggled to get out of turns into his first destination – to get them out of there. He searches for the dreamwalker with whom all that started – to “persuade” him to free Starlight or at least annoy him enough to get there himself again.
Lyrics and details under the cut.
I tried to get away from love
I took a sharp razor and corrected myself
I took refuge in the basement, I cut
Leather thongs that strapped a weak chest
I see that sometimes he’d try to persuade himself that he actually doesn’t need them. That his initial goal was achieved – he’s out. I think other d(a)emons would try to persuade him too (Vega’s point of view is definitely not unique).
[Chorus]
I wanna be with you
I wanna be with you
I want to be with you so much
I wanna be with you
And I will be with you
Your name has changed long ago
Eyes have lost their color forever
The drunk doctor told me - you are no more
The firefighter gave me a certificate that your house burned down
Everything and everyone tries to show him that they are gone. If time goes faster in the hell dimension goes faster the thought of them being there alone drives him crazy. What if they’re hurt? In pain? And he can’t do anything about it.
[Chorus]
 [Transition]
In a room with a white ceiling
With the right for hope
In a room overlooking the lights
With faith in love
He still hopes though. He was always hopeful and they have only made this feeling stronger.
I broke glass like chocolate in my hand
I cut these fingers for being
Unable to touch you
I looked into these faces and could not forgive them
The fact that they don't have you and they can live
But desperation and devastation are still prevailing. He got them into it. It’s his fault. And none of his d(a)emon friends understand. He probably has dreams of them sometimes, when he dares to sleep and wakes up in tears.
[Chorus]
 [Completion]
In a room with a white ceiling
With the right for hope
In a room overlooking the lights
With faith in love

avior & starlight headcanons
(I'm in love with these two now)
(I haven't written anything for avi and starlight so I hope this is half decent)
Tumblr media
-> complete opposites and yet, these two fit so well together
-> avior loves watching them slowly drift to sleep while running his fingers through their hair
-> starlight loves intertwining their hands in his, one of the few comforts they had whilst trapped in the hellscape
-> forehead kisses and cuddling with one another is a daily occurrence
-> avior is phenomenal at cooking, so when him and starlight eventually escape their hell, he'll happily cook for them
-> these two often stay up and talk about things they miss about home. avior talks about aria and all the other fellow d(a)emons he misses. starlight tells him about their family and what it was like at the academy
-> avior falling asleep on their lap - starlight playing with his horns (idk if he canonically has horns)
-> these two are the embodiment of the song; another love by Tom Odell
-> when the slow burn slightly heats up, avior finds himself enjoying the physical contact they provide. whether it be holding their hand, laying on their lap or wrapping an arm around their waist as they sleep on his chest, being trapped in the hellscape feels a lot more bearable knowing they're with him. and that he's not alone.
-> the slow burn heats up even more and starlight promises avior, as he sleeps, that they'll never leave him here;
-> "No matter what happens, I'm glad you brought me here because I met you. I'm not gonna leave unless you're coming with me and if I have to choose - I'll pick you. Because I...I care about you, more than you'll ever know."
-> starlight doesn't realize that avior's awake. and so, they place a light kiss on his cheek and eventually succumb to their own exhaustion.
-> avior not knowing how to go about his feelings for starlight. sure, he's cared for other people before, the feelings aren't foreign...but it's them. he loves how inquisitive they are, he loves everything about them.
-> starlight isn't oblivious. they're aware of the feelings they have for avior. they love everything about him too.
-> starlight teaching avior how to slow dance, it takes some practice but once he got the hang of it...it felt magical.
-> their first kiss is when they're up late, talking about their lives before all of this, as they usually did.
-> "well...if this hell hole has taught me anything, it's to be grateful for everything you have, not to take anything for granted. "
-> avior didn't want to waste another second. he's nervous, "starlight?"
-> they turn to face him. "Yeah?"
-> avior gently caresses both their cheeks. "I don't want to waste any more time. I'm sorry I brought you here, it was selfish. I only cared about my own survival...and now I care for yours far more than mine. I don't care how long it'll take - but I promise, I'll get us out of here."
-> "starlight, I-
-> he didn't have to finish, they knew what he was going to say. before he could finish his sentence, they softly pressed their lips to his, wrapping their arms around his neck as he pulled them closer, not wanting to let go.
-> once they do find a way out of the trap blake created, these two are inseparable.
-> in my mind, they buy a house on the outskirts of Dahlia. avior visits aria some days and sure, it is the place he coalesced, he'd know it his whole life but now, avior has learnt that home isn't always a place - it's a person.
-> it's his starlight - it's always been them.

hi yes please tell me more about a3!! is it a rhythm game bc i am VERY interested in the fact that theres a gnc guy in it but im only really able to dedicate myself to gacha games if theyre rhythm based :pensive:
under cut because i got carried away-------
it’s not rhythm unfortunately 😔 it’s too bad because this series has VERY AMAZING music and they really got their hands on ones of the best (imo) composers in the field (like yuyoyuppe or emon(tes) or hige driver <3) but it’s Sadly just a card collecting game like enstars (i feel you though, i can’t really get into mobage if they’re not rhythm either, it’s a miracle i still play a3 everyday-) :( if you can’t get into the game though, there’s a currently running anime :D it’s very ugly (compared to game art) but <3 i still love it <3 even if it’s not perfect haha
it promotes itself as an otome game but it’s Really not, it’s just a story heavy card collecting game you’re y/n [izumi] tachibana and you take over mankai (jp: full bloom) company after it’s about to be demolished because your father disappeared and failed to pay off the debt; your job is to bring the company back to its former glory as the director (and work as a personal therapist to all of your actors-) i’m sure you’ll like it if you like the found family trope, because the mankai company to everyone there is a place where they belong and feel safe there are 4 troupes in the company, each specializing in different play genre spring: altered versions of known stories (for example: romeo & juliet, the wizard of oz, some original stories following a similar vibe) summer: comedy (slapstick and tons of ad-lib) autumn: action (if there’s no fighting it’s not an autumn play-) winter: mature and serious stories, often tragic
it’s a really cute series that can get kinda serious at times (there are matters of abuse, child neglect, kidnapping+unconsented drug use, and death (off the top of my head) if that makes you uncomfortable)
the writing sure is flawed; masumi (obsessiveness portrayed as cute and funny), citron (making the only (?) character of color the butt of a joke---), how they portray their ND-coded charas like misumi and homare as jokes too, but i still think it’s possible to just ignore those aspects i mean............... not in MY canon-
the gnc guy is yuki rurikawa and he’s my fave <3 he’s a “crossdresser” (i don’t really like that word but that’s what he calls himself) who loves sewing and is the costume designer (aside from being an actor) for the company, he has a cute appearance but a sharp tongue and sassy attitude <3 he’s strong and mature for his age, if he wants something he’ll get it something i really like is that nobody in the company really questions or comments purely negatively about his choice of clothing, which is very refreshing another character that isn’t really gnc but Borderline Could Be is azuma yukishiro, who speaks in a very delicate and feminine manner and is said by some characters to “feel like a woman” <3 yuki even calls him “azu-nee” (big sister azu)
overall, if you don’t check out the game, i at least recommend you checking out the music because it’s honestly one of my favorite things about the series <3 all 24 characters have solo songs, group songs (4 troupes), plus each released play gets 1 to 2 play-themed songs and i think they’re all great (imo better than some idol-franchise music but not calling any names-)
if you need recs; my faves are
more on the rock side: just for myself, muddy hero, the contract, second shot
ballad-like: minority (yuki’s solo song; the lyrics are very lgbt-coded but we don’t get much of it in game), loner, monologue
other genres i can’t quite name??: susume pirates, exciting charmer (PLEASE consider tasuku hatanaka (who voices kumon) i’ve been absolutely obsessed with his vocals), mikansei na sora de, buzama, living the dream, shoutai, scarlet game, kiteretsu poemer (literally a musical masterpiece?? it’s so fun????)
sorry for linking so many but literally every single song in this franchise is amazing????? there’s not ONE song i dislike like how??????
i’m also really sorry for rambling on sajfkhsakfjash i just love a3 a lot 🥺

Talks Machina Highlights - Critical Role C2E56 (March 26, 2019)
Gooooood evening, everyone. @eponymous-rose is taking a well-deserved break, so I’m stepping in to ruin reputations and botch direct quotations all over the place. Here to give us the appropriate gravitas and fear for the evening is the Chamber of Chairs:
Tumblr media
Tonight’s guests: Liam O’Brien & Marisha Ray. Dani flips Liam off to start the show and it’s pretty funny. “What did I doooo?”
Tonight’s announcements: Last night was the season finale of Between the Sheets, featuring Ashly Burch, who is shockingly short in person. The VOD’s up for subscribers now, and it’ll be posted on YT tomorrow for everyone else. The Ashley Johnson episode will be up soon! Yay! Remember, no new episode of CR this week, and no new episode of TM next Tuesday as a result. Normal CR broadcasting resumes April 4. The Kickstarter hit $8 million today. Liam: “Oh boy oh boy oh boy it’s fine it’s fine IT’S FINE.” The final goal is $8.8m with 23 days to go, and a behind-the-scenes filming of the theme song was posted today on the KS. The video’s actually pretty cool & features Ashley in a feather boa!
Anyway! Episode 56: The Favor
CR Stats! This was the shortest episode of this campaign at 2h19m15s of gameplay. Only Shopping and Shipping from C1 was shorter. This episode tied for the fewest spells cast in one episode (six) and all were cast by Caleb. Over the 44 episodes & 136 days the M9 had the dodecahedron, they gained 25 fragments of possibility and actually utilized 13.
Liam and Marisha talk about having a timer in the office: “It has been 27 days since the last Holy Fuck ending.”
None of them thought Matt was going to cut it off at that point, but when he explained he wanted Taliesin there for the next part, it made sense to all of them & they all agreed it was for the best.
Beau has four thousand thoughts racing through her head right now. One of them is excitement about getting to learn the Kryn more, but she’s also terrified. Henry interrupts with the most adorable baying howl and he walks offstage. What a good pupper.
Liam describes the moment as everyone frozen in amber as they wait for the next episode. Beau will figure out something to her advantage between now and then.
Marisha likens this moment to the Emon attack and the Lorenzo fight with Molly in terms of emotional shock. Brian remembers Sam was in a tux that night; Marisha: “I knew it was going to be a funeral tux.”
There’s another question about how Marisha/Beau feels about the dodeca handoff, and both Liam and Marisha start laughing about how this entire TM episode is just going to be about the ramifications of Caleb’s decision. Liam: “No regrets,” but he understands there’s going to be a lot of fallout. They talk about how the ramifications will depend on how public the Krynn make their gift: will it be parades in the streets, a handshake and dismissal from a private room, etc? What if there was a Dairon-type spy in the room who’ll tell people they don’t want to know about their actions? They’re eager and afraid to see the fallout.
Brian points out everyone could see on Travis’s face he would rather have gone to jail, but further discussion is derailed by questions.
The group had discussed the possibility of handing off the dodecahedron in the past, but he hadn’t considered ever handing it off until the last sixty seconds when “everything was going to shit. It was more mathematical than anything. It felt a lot like Avantika. We’ve got a plan, the plan’s broken, but we can get away, no, we can’t get away, now this is changing--I don’t want someone outside our group to control the situation if I can act first, if I can punch first. Everyone’s trying to negotiate and it’s failing, I don’t want to give up this thing either, I don’t want to die, I don’t want to die, here’s--this.” Caleb wanted to save the group. He wouldn’t have taken the gamble even two minutes earlier. Then, suddenly as it began to work, he & Caleb began realizing that not only did it work, but it worked very well and now his brain had split into two: “oh, thank God, I care about these people, I can save them,” and “how do I use this to my advantage.”
Caleb was quiet through most of this episode because he really wanted to discuss several things in private with other group members--that’s what he was thinking about for most of this.
Dani points out everyone expected physical travel between this fight & the audience with the queen where there would be downtime to discuss things. None of them expected immediate teleportation.
If Beau had been in a position to stop Caleb from giving up the beacon, she would not have stopped him.
Beau was wincing as Nott & Jester asked questions they should have already known the answers to. Liam points out it’s the war room in Dr. Strangelove--only the most powerful people would have been there. Beau dislikes authority but doesn’t think she’s stupid enough to have gotten herself seen as an obvious traitor.
Everyone revels in Matt’s Caduceus impression.
GIF of the Week: Liam pulling the dodeca out of the haversack by Will D. Brian singsongs “Travis is tilted~, Travis is tilted, look at his face~” over the GIF playing. Haaaaaahaha, poor Travis.
Liam: “I think I’m just in the shithouse.” Marisha: “You blew the shit whistle.”
Brief hilarious aside where they discuss Tetanus Terry (ft. on Travis Willingham’s YeeHaw Game Ranch) & Caleb Widogast getting fully replaced by Terry as a backup character if he gets assassinated.
On a scale of 1-10, Beau is following Dairon’s advice to a 7. She’s trying not to get attached, not to die, to listen, to not get impatient, to not be biased. She’s probably going to get closer to people than Dairon would suggest, but thinks she’s trying pretty hard.
It wasn’t cathartic for Caleb to renounce the Empire like this. His parents were very pro-Empire, and now that he’s on this journey to atone for his parents’ deaths, he’s done exactly the last thing his parents ever, ever wanted him to do--walked into the heart of the enemy and gave them everything they wanted. (Brian, Liam, & Dani briefly rag on Tumblr still having faint life somewhere. “Female-presenting nipples” comes up. It’s funny and also very sad.)
Brian discusses how it’s a big moment, but it’s not a victory for the group. Caleb was just shooting for a short-term immediate solution. Marisha: “It feels like a sitcom bait-and-switch. Nah, it’s cool, guys, we’re gonna pretend to be waiters and we’ll sneak into the kitchen,” but then they sneak into the kitchen and the cook laughs that the sous-chef is out today, and “now we’re in over our heads!”
Brian reveals dramatically that last night he came out as a supporter of Liam for President of D&D Beyond. Liam: “Beneath all the chicanery & hair product, there is common sense."
Liam & Marisha talk about the difference between Nott/Caleb’s original first podunk jail and this potential maximum security prison.
Caleb imagined the BDSM straps over his shirt and coat. Apparently most of the fanart generated this week has failed to include them.
Both Marisha & Liam VEHEMENTLY agree they hated not being able to be main parts of the Brightqueen talks. They also talk about how they both are far better at CHA than Nott & Jester, though they point out in fairness that Matt’s told them he always adjusts the social DCs based on the arguments they make.
As far as the slavery part of the disguise, Marisha: “Marisha has laughed at every piece of fanart. Beau was surprised. Beau’s gonna have a talk.” She (Beau) felt they had discussed the costumes, the pretense--but not the bullying & active degradation her group put her through. It was huge, an eye-opening moment for Beau in a way she (Beau & Marisha) absolutely did not expect. She never thought they would abuse their status over her in that way.
They discuss how on a meta sense, they all knew that the scene was just Travis and Laura trolling them and having fun at their expense, but at the same time it’s still happening in game and will have in-game consequences. Marisha: “It’s like at a party where your good friend starts getting a little too drunk and starts making fun of you a little too much--it’s a little too real.”
That said, one of Marisha’s favorite fanarts from this week was Beau (as a table) swearing under her breath at Jester with her feet up. It’s an interesting juxtaposition.
Fanart of the Week: The Brightqueen by Nikki Dawes.
Beau does not feel she’s betrayed anyone by being present at this event. She knows where her allegiances lie, so just because this happened doesn’t mean it’s changed anything about what she believes. That said, she has no love for the Empire. She’s very personal with whom she cares about. She doesn’t have as much obvious disdain as Caleb does--she’s just more indifferent.
Caleb has a high CHA that he just doesn’t use anymore, because the people he knew with high CHA that used it did so to do bad things. Liam thinks when Caleb was young he was very gifted, charming, and attracted people to him; now it’s all gone. He can hold it together like a sandcastle by the tide for an hour, but in the end it always washes away.
On Nott speaking for the group: Marisha always likes hearing Sam talk. In some ways Marisha felt it was the same thing she used to get for Keyleth-- "why are you talking? You shouldn’t be talking. You shouldn’t be the talker.” Everyone should have their own voice, regardless of the scores on the page. “Your stats are there to influence the effects of what happens; they’re not the Bible. They’re not law.” She reminds us Vex once entered an arm-wrestling contest with a strength of 7.
How does Beau feel now that Caleb’s made another huge decision without consulting the rest of the M9 (i.e. Bowlgate)? It’ll play out in game. It’s a big deal. Liam admits he loves it. “The whole point is conflict resolution, so you need conflict.” He loves things like this, like the Astrid letter, because it opens opportunities to explore characters. In some ways it’s the same thing: they were in an impossible situation and Caleb sees it as protecting his friends, but that’s not how it read to anyone else. Marisha points out that once again he made himself the authority to make this huge decision without discussing it with anyone else in the group.
Marisha and Liam start talking about the decision more, decide it should wait for the game, but then keep talking despite themselves. Marisha points out that on top of his (once-again) unilateral decision, his speech was also framed selfishly (”I did this thing, I brought this back to you,”). To her, it still feels like the same thing with Caleb deciding things with major consequences for the rest of the group without their input, though she admits it’s colored by their (Beau’s & Caleb’s) history. Liam talks about how in the moment he was scared of deception checks, so he just tried to be as truthful as possible--nothing he said was false because he was only speaking for himself. He could not have spoken for the group & still been truthful. It’s a really interesting dichotomous discussion, both of them talking about what they felt in the moment versus how it came across to everyone else.
Liam feels it’s more like seeing someone dying in front of them & wasting time discussing whether they should do CPR or not, rather than him making decisions for the whole group. Marisha’s face obviously disagrees (so do I, ahaha). Liam also thought they were going to continue the episode & talk more, which would have kept it from being as much about him. This is gonna be super interesting when it actually plays out, for sure.
Once again, no new CR this Thursday or TM next Tuesday. Most of the rest of the programming will stay the same. This Tuesday’s Mame Drop will feature Max James of CR production fame.
We end on this eldritch horror:
Tumblr media
"Weuuuh, Caleb knows best! Caleb will make the decisions for all of us in this D&D game!”
Aaand we’re out. Stay turnt.

Okay, so this one makes no sense at all. I’m for the millionth time rediscovering this band (it’s cool and very… alternative, definitely recommend) and this song gave me heavy Avior vibes.
Under the cut is the lyrics translation with very few commentaries, because again – it makes absolutely no sense.
Maybe it’s because the song is about losing wings and Avior sometimes does give off the whole “fallen angel” aura (to me at least). Also losing wings is the most obvious allegory for losing freedom and he’s, well, trapped.
“Wings” by “Nautilus Pompilius”:
You take off your evening dress
facing the wall
And I see fresh scars on the smooth,
like velvet, back.
I feel like crying in pain
or forgetting myself in a dream.
Where are your wings
Which I liked so much?
[Chorus]
Where are your wings
which I liked?
Where are your wings
which I liked?
 We used to have time
now we have things to do
To prove that the strong eat the weak
prove that the soot is white.
Okay, so this is a little about the whole d(a)emon social problem and the fact of how in general “his people” behave.
We've all lost something
in this crazy war.
By the way, where are your wings
which I liked?
[Chorus]
I don't ask how much money you have
I don’t ask how many husbands.
I see you are afraid of open windows
and upper floors.
He fell from the upper circle of his personal hell.
And if a fire starts tomorrow
and the whole building will be in flames,
We will die without these wings
which I liked.
He didn’t catch/save Starlight when they fell.
[Chorus]
Yes, again angst.

I bring to you comrades two d(a)emon song takes – one very basic and one a little less.
First take – very basic:
I’m going to play devil’s advocate here a little. Let’s suppose that Vega wasn’t always such a sick psycho and something (not one big something necessarily, maybe a lot of little somethings) must have messed him up. Then he did what he did and got locked up (for good). Now the demon listener from the department is working with him (on him?). Let’s suppose they get closer and Vega starts feeling that weird emotion towards the inchoate. It’s called trust, you cold-hearted idiot.
Second take – a little less basic:
Somebody, please comfort Cam. Please. I’ve got a song which originally was about my stupid teenage drama freshman year of high school, then it was about how afraid I was of “The Cost” and then the aftermath of “The Cost” happened and it (especially the last part) fits out poor serenity daemon pretty well.
The Songs with my commentaries are below the cut (it’s long).
First take:
Now Billie Eilish’s “Bury a Friend” fits perfectly (here should be a rant about how it’s literally the only song of hers I know and that I only know it because of a “Steven Universe” animatic and that I have an odd need to justify knowing pop songs):
[Chorus]
What do you want from me? Why don't you run from me?
What are you wondering? What do you know?
Why aren't you scared of me? Why do you care for me?
When we all fall asleep, where do we go?
This is fairly obvious – the listener is not scared of him and unexpectedly cares about him and he isn’t sure what do they actually want from him and how much do they know about him (and probably if they’re falling for his manipulations).
Come here
Say it, spit it out, what is it exactly
You're payin'? Is the amount cleanin' you out? Am I satisfactory?
Again the fact that he can’t guess what they want from him and what’s their game drives him crazy.
Today, I'm thinkin' about the things that are deadly
The way I'm drinkin' you down
Like I wanna drown, like I wanna end me
At some point he might just say “Screw it!” and trust the listener completely even if just for one talk (session?) just to know how it feels to turn the manipulation off.
Step on the glass, staple your tongue
This unexpectedly calls up a line from the other song I’m going to talk about – step on the glass if its contents are already drunk and you don’t need it anymore. That and the whole “bury a friend” thing might be referring to the something that messed him up.
Bury a friend, try to wake up
Cannibal class, killing the son
Bury a friend, I wanna end me
[Chorus]
Listen
Keep you in the dark, what had you expected?
Me to make you my art and make you a star
And get you connected?
He still mostly tries to manipulate the listener and gaslights them when they try to remind him that he was starting to act more openly.
I'll meet you in the park, I'll be calm and collected
But we knew right from the start that you'd fall apart
'Cause I'm too expensive
He mocks them a lot and tells them he’s definitely too complicated for them and he’s going to break them eventually.
It's probably somethin' that shouldn't be said out loud
Honestly, I thought that I would be dead by now (Wow)
Calling security, keepin' my head held down
Bury the hatchet or bury a friend right now
The listener might snap at some point too and, you know, use the fact that they are actually with the department and that Vega is actually a prisoner.
The debt I owe, gotta sell my soul
'Cause I can't say no, no, I can't say no
Then my limbs all froze and my eyes won't close
And I can't say no, I can't say no
Careful
Hi there, paralysis! And maybe, hi there, another reference to something that messed him up. Yes, I know, it’s a cliché that the abused uses the same behaviour as the abuser but I’ve warned you that it’s basic.
[Stuff just repeats again]
Second take:
It’s “Songs of the Unloved” by “Aquarium” (translation mine):
Songs of the unloved.
Songs of the thrown away
Buried without a name.
Immured in the night
Songs of the scratched out from the lists.
Songs of the thrown onto the ice.
The song of the no longer needed
Sounds, does not stop.
He feels useless because he has to bring serenity but he can’t because of the stuff going through his head. He probably also feels used and disposed of.
We have a good school -
Light up from burning snakes;
Rip out your own heart
To become even angrier.
Keep the head underwater
Do not let to inhale;
And break off the blade after the hit
Because God is with us.
Pain and indifference make good people cruel.
Step on the glass
If it was drunk;
Head in a noose
And out with belongings.
Lord open up to me
The Mystery of Being;
Look into my eyes
And say that this is Your will.
Again. The same thing – destroyed when becomes useless. The whole song is basically about the same thing. And it hurts.
You can wait a long time for the sun
Looking with blind eyes at the zenith;
We had a crystal bell inside.
It has been stepped on; it doesn’t ring anymore.
Oh my god, do I even need to say something here? Thinking about this line makes me cry.
This music is older than the world;
It is ridiculous and funny;
But I will dance to it
Even if it is not audible.
 For an affectionate soul -
An iron dress.
With blood on the sand -
‘All people are brothers’.
I don’t need anymore Your
Mysteries of Being.
Just look into my eyes
And say that this is Your will.
All the soft and caring people get ruined by this world. It hurts so much that I don’t want to know why. I just need to know that somebody knows.
I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to get so gloomy but the last Camelopardalis audio and this song both are just so dark and hopeless.
If anybody wants to write a songfic (or two) – be my guest, I’ll probably never get to.
