So Charming was just cushioned by the beanstalk when he fell?

Course not!  Don’t be silly! The beanstalk was actually being knocked down by a rogue wave of anti-magic. 

When anti-magic comes into contact with magic it cancels the magic out and that point in space time actually ceases to exist.  

Now this rogue wave engulfed... a good chunk of the distance below where Charming was hanging so he didn’t actually FALL all that distance to the ground.  Much of the space between himself and the ground actually simply ceased to exist.  Thus leaving him out but alive in the remaining section of the enchanted forest.

Right? I came into it with a lot of ideas and worries and it was so fun and hit all the emotional notes I was looking for and some I wasn’t. I was surprised and touched and left dying for the next episode (it’s already my favorite one and it hasn’t even aired!)

i’m definitely not excited to have ward back at all... watching the sneak peeks has hurt me as a fan of both daisy and chloe. but after watching some interviews, i’m excited to see how all of this is gonna work out in the framework though i am not at all excited for the angst that i’m sure is going to come with this arc.

It was never my intention to hurt you my darling, but in my defense Captain Charming hurt me first...

The anguish of a heartbroken David, so tired, so at his wits end. Then Killian all concerned af for his mate - he’s quite perceptive you know. David lashing out at his bro because dammit, he carries the weight of the world on his shoulders. Just a shepherd, who fell in love with a princess, lost his daughter to a curse for 28 years, a man afraid of letting down his own son just as his father let him down. 

Then there’s Killian, finally accepted into a family, he has a home with the woman he loves and here’s his best mate calling him out on something he should thought David had accepted!? Scratching open that wound that should have healed long ago. Killian is smart though, he knows how to handle the Charming family...well two of the family members at least. When their backs are to the wall you give them space, let them know you’re in this for the long haul, that you’re with them but let them come back to you. 

*sigh* Yeah, that got a bit deeper than expected and probably made me sound like a complete arse. 

Have some adorable Captain Charming Floor to make up for my poor...
