Something that made you cry this year?

Pretty much everything, since my tear ducts are on a hair trigger. I cry at sad commercials, heartwarming tiktoks, when the orchestra music swells during a meaningful moment in a movie....I made myself weepy just thinking that maybe my mother was tearing up as she hugged me goodbye. It's kind of ridiculous. My only consolation is that I rarely cry about the real things happening in my life---and when I do it's about things too personal to discuss with the internet at large.

oh my god this fucking guy in my stupid screenwriting class. his script is 14 pages long because he STILL has stupid unnecessary spaces before and after transitions and also after dialogue or action and a new slug line and also just randomly anywhere. i like his script but jesus could he be any worse at formatting. this is our third draft buddy why do you still not know FORMATTING. THE DAMN SOFTWARE FORMATS FOR YOU ITS NOT EVEN HARD WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU.

My dad has a physics PHD so when I was 13 and finally doing actual science classes in school I thought everything they were teaching was just common knowledge because string theory had been explained to me at like 8 years old. Also didn't help that we're both autistic and I couldn't stop asking questions so everything from the universe expanding to quarks had received a thorough infodump.
