hey all !! normally i wouldn't engage in something like this on my blog, but considering that it's happening to a friend of mine, i felt i had an obligation to speak out. sorry for clogging up the tags/interrupting your scrolling 😭

tldr: @/hxveneru has stolen the works of my good friend @lowkeyren not once, but twice and is deleting any comments calling them out.

edit: they've changed their user to @/yneri; if you've blocked them already, this doesn't really matter bc they're still blocked :) reminder to not engage with them, they're just looking for attention. block and ignore!

please note that i'm doing this of my own accord, and the only involvement ren has had in this post is me asking for permission to post it since, well, it's an issue mainly affecting her.

also i should say beforehand but. don't ??? send them death threats please 😭 we are better than that. i'm mainly making this to spread awareness about the issue :)

first stolen work is ren's oneshot "drunk words, sober thoughts!" for aventurine here.

as you can see, it was posted on June 15th, a little over two months before hxveneru posted their own oneshot.

for reference. hxveneru is a new blog and all of their posts are in the month of september, proven here via their archive.

and here's the two oneshots side by side, with ren's on the left and the stolen one on the right.

notice how the oneshots are exactly word-for-word except for the title and synopsis? even the author's note is exactly the same. obviously i can't fit the whole thing here, but this should be enough.

and here's the second work that was copied, with hxveneru's "diff scenarios w hsr men" taking from drabbles from two of ren's works.

now let's look at the drabbles that were - once again, copy and pasted. first is blade's, again with ren on the left and the stolen one on the right (ren's is circled bc they didn't take the hcs part).

so far, those are the only works posted on their blog. i was also informed that they had apparently stolen from @/exuvianen's post here but deleted it, but since said post is deleted, we don't have evidence for that so take it with a grain of salt.

but yeah! just wanted to let yall know out there, especially since the plagiarized works have already gained some traction and have 100+ notes on them. i've talked about them vaguely on my blog before, so if this sounds familiar, yeah this is them.

plagiarism is shitty, i shouldn't have to say that. it is not that hard to just write your own stuff. i know validation and publicity make you feel good, but stealing someone else's hard work is not the way to go. writers already have enough to deal with. just don't do it. what's the point of getting validation if it's not even your work?

again, don't send death threats, please. that's a bit far, and they likely won't even do anything since the plagiarizer has already been called out before and this was their response.

Your timeline is the usual: vacation photos, friends’ engagement announcements, and a few cat memes – until a familiar face stops you cold. You blink, suddenly focused on the screen. It's a post from Formula 1’s official account: “Breaking News! Franco Colapinto to replace Logan Sargeant for the remainder of the season with Williams Racing!”

It’s him: your ex. The same guy who used to fumble with his old beat-up car keys in your apartment hallway, who hated public speaking, who once told you over cheap beer that he'd "never give up" on his dream of making it to Formula 1. 

Your heart stutters. The boiling water spills over, hissing against the stovetop, but you can't look away. 

You swipe to his Instagram account, which has exploded to millions of followers; his latest post has hundreds of thousands of likes. 

There’s something in your chest that feels tight and uncomfortable. Not jealousy exactly, but the uncomfortable sense of having your own little piece of history – the memories only you two shared – thrust out into a space where millions of people could now claim a part of it too. 

He’s no longer just a face in old Facebook photos or an occasional memory triggered by a song; he’s public, untouchable, and no longer yours in any sense of the word.

A notification pops up on your phone: your best friend has sent you a screenshot of the announcement with a simple, incredulous message: “Did you know?”

Weeks pass, and your life starts to feel like it’s caught in a loop, a strange orbit with your ex at the center. The usual silence in the office kitchen is now broken by someone asking, “Did you see the race last weekend?” and even if you don’t reply, even if you keep your head down and sip your coffee, you know they’re talking about him – the person who used to sit with you in the mornings, groggy and half-awake, arguing over who had to make breakfast.

It’s like the world is suddenly obsessed. Your friends casually bring him up during brunch, mentioning how wild it is to see “someone you kind of knew” becoming famous. Someone at work even asks if you ever went to school together when they catch you scrolling through an F1 article during your lunch break. His success is everywhere, suffocatingly present, and there’s a part of you that almost wants to scream, “I knew him before all of this.”

One night, you’re out with friends at a noisy bar, the type of place where conversation is half-shouted over the music. The conversation inevitably turns to him, with someone pulling up an Instagram video of his post-race interview on their phone, shoving it across the table for everyone to see. You feel a knot in your stomach as his face fills the screen. 

“Can you believe it?” someone says, and there’s a wave of excitement, admiration, fascination at the table. You force a smile, nodding along, barely hearing the rest of the conversation. 

Back at home, you collapse onto the couch, the sound of the bar chatter still ringing in your ears. You open Instagram, and before you can stop yourself, you’re scrolling through his stories again. His follower count ticks up again. A notification pops up – this time from an old mutual friend: “Crazy about Franco, right? Who would’ve thought!”

Who would’ve thought? 

You close the app, toss your phone to the other side of the couch, and let out a sigh. The world might be captivated by his meteoric rise, but to you, it’s a reminder of what you left behind – what you chose to leave behind – and why it’s harder than ever to look away.

part 3

You didn’t think you’d run into him again, at least not like this. Sure, he’s everywhere now: plastered across national TV, splashed all over the sports headlines, and, yes, even appearing in ads on your Pinterest feed. You’re not going to lie, you did click on his name when you saw it trending on Twitter last week. It was just... curiosity. Nothing more. At least, that’s what you told yourself. So, no, it’s not like you imagined you’d never see his face again.

But you didn’t expect to see him in person.

It’s your sister’s pre-wedding dinner. A simple, cozy evening meant for close friends and family. Nothing overwhelming. It’s supposed to be safe.

And yet, there he is.

You’re standing in your parents’ backyard, glass of wine in hand, just enjoying your sister’s friends laughing and chatting around you. You’ve finally let your guard down, the tension of seeing his face everywhere slipping away for just a moment. Then you hear his voice, unmistakable, from just a few meters behind you.

Your heart stutters, and you freeze, the easy laughter around you turning to white noise. You turn, and the person you’re staring at is different now. More polished. More put together. You wonder if that’s what success gets you: smoothed out rough edges, glossier, shinier, a little less of that boy laughing too loud about nothing in particular.

Before you can even decide how to react, your sister is there, smiling so brightly you’d think he’s the guest of honor. She’s introducing him like he’s always been part of the family, like this moment isn’t turning your world upside down. And, of course, he is family, related to her fiancé, so you curse yourself for not even considering he would make it.

You nod and smile, feeling your face stretch into something polite and practiced, hoping it looks normal. You can barely register the introductions, just fragments: “Remember when he used to talk about racing?” “And now look! He’s actually in Formula 1!” Your sister’s fiancé laughs, as if it’s some incredible, impossible feat. And you want to tell him that yes, you remember it all. Every late-night conversation about impossible dreams, every frustrated rant when things seemed out of reach. You were the one who heard it first, who knew the struggle when it was real and uncertain.

But now he’s here, larger than life and far from you, and you feel like you’re standing in some alternate reality – watching him turn into everything he promised he’d become, without you there to see it.

You didn’t even expect to see him tonight. Honestly, why would you? Your sister never mentioned he’d be here. Later she’ll tell you she assumed you’d know, just like she assumed he’d be there. After all, back when you were still together, the four of you had talked about the wedding a lot. Back then, the idea of him not being at her wedding would have been laughable.

You’ll just nod, swallowing hard, forcing a smile. “Yeah, no, it’s fine. It’s not a big deal.” 

When you text your best friend, all you write is: I think I hate him.

And even as you press send, you know that’s not true. 

You stare at the message, watching the three dots dance as your friend replies: You don’t. You’re just hurt.

Sunoo’s giggles filled your ears, the pink blush on his face made the smile and scrunch of his nose all the more cute.

He gently kissed your cheek, “Babe! Do it again!” 

You took the empty glass away from your mate, begging Jay with your eyes to please take the glass and put it elsewhere, “Please grab him some water, we need him sober for the wedding.” 

Jay took the glass with a nod, “Kinda your fault for showing him that trick.” 

You softly nodded in agreement, placing your hand on your mate's forehead, “I didn’t think he would find it that funny.” 

Today is Heeseung’s and __ wedding. Heeseung and his grooms(the main OGs of the pack) were sitting around getting ready in the private room away from the venue. 

All the females in the pack(which are obviously the bridesmaids), besides the bride, came to see their mates before the wedding started. 

To your and the other girls' surprise, the males were pregaming. Which honestly kinda also didn’t surprise you at all. 

Heeseung has been shaking nonstop since last week. Jay has been wanting to drink since the royals even announced their wedding. Sunghoon and Jake have been gaming pregaming jokes since yesterday while Sunoo and Jungwon laughed and teased along with it. Meanwhile, poor Niki sat in the corner drinking his blood bag like a juice box. 

Again, it didn’t surprise you or the girls when you all walked in and saw the males drinking. 

Sunoo was already buzzed when you walked up to him, using your magic to refill his empty glass as a form of a party trick, mostly since all the other boys were watching as well. 

Sunoo’s face lit up as he drank the refilled alcohol in one gulp, asking you to do it again as he giggled.

Thinking there was no harm in it, you did it again, only for your mate to gulp it down again, slurring his words asking for it to happen again and you realize your mistake. 

With your palm on his forehead, you used your magic to release the tension in his head and remove the drunk feeling. 

“Well now my head hurts,” Sunoo pouted, resting his head on your shoulder as he wrapped his arms around your waist. 

“I know my sunshine,” you ran your hands in his hair, “This is why we wait to drink until after the wedding.” 

Jay chuckled, pulling his mate to his side, placing a kiss on her forehead, “Tell that to Heeseung who still has a half-full glass in his hands.” 

You glanced over at Heeseung, his face was flushed as he leaned against Sunghoon, mumbling about how nervous he was. 

“Sunoo, my sunshine, can you stand up without me? I need to help Heeseung.” 

Your mate nodded, releasing you just to take a few steps and fall onto Jay’s shoulder. 

You and the witch tried pulling Heeseung off Sunghoon, “Damn, didn’t think pregaming was going to lead to this,” Sunghoon teased. 

His mate rolled her eyes, “Babe, you knew how nervous he was for today!” 

Once Heeseung was off Sunghoon and standing up straight, your palm touched his forehead, doing the same thing you did for Sunoo. 

Once the drunk feeling was gone, Heeseung furrowed his brows and closed his eyes tightly, his own hands grasping his head, “Fuck…” 

You patted the king's back softly as the witch helped him keep his balance. 

“I can make some herbal tea for you guys, how does that sound?” the witch asked softly, rubbing Heeseung’s back.

Heeseung nodded, “Please do, I don’t need my groomens falling over.” 

Sunghoon chuckled, “You mean just Sunoo and yourself, the rest of us are fine.” 

The witch glared at her mate, “Hoon, please.” 

Sunghoon thinned his lips into a line, trying to keep from laughing. 

Jungwon, being the leader he is, took the witches' place at Heeseung’s side, “Go ahead and make their tea, I’ll take over.” 

She nodded, “I’ll have to grab my bag from the other room,” then quickly rushed off. 

“Y/N,” Jungwon grabbed your attention, “Go ahead and go back to Sunoo, I got Hee.” 

You nodded, rushing back to your mate's side. 

“How are you doing my sunshine?” 

Sunoo pouted even more, as he pushed off his Hyung and ran back to you, “Why did you show me you could refill alcohol?” 

You wrapped your arms around him, softly giggling, “I didn’t think you would find it that entertaining, my sun.” 

Sunoo rolled his eyes, “I always find your magic entertaining,” he sassed, giving you his famous side-eye. 

You placed your hands on his cheeks, pinning them slightly, “No need to sass me, not my fault you decided to pregame a little too hard.” 

Sunoo knew you were right, but it was a happy day today. 

Sunoo feels maybe he was more excited about this wedding than the actual one getting married. 

The witch returns handing the small porcelain cup to Sunoo, “This will help the headache and make it feel like you never drank at all.” 

Sunoo thanked her, taking the cup to his sips. 

Heeseung also gulped down the tea, the red on his face slowly fading away. 

“Okay!” Jungwon scouted, clapping his hands together, “The wedding starts in twenty minutes! Everyone, start actually to prepare yourselves.” 

You fixed Sunoo’s tie on his tux and parted his hair back off to the side where it once was. 

Sunoo took the last sip of his tea, smiling brightly at you, “You look beautiful.” 

You smoothed out a wrinkle on your silk red dress, “The future queen picked out a pretty red huh?” 

Sunoo pulled your body back to him, “No you just look pretty in red, I could bite your neck and suck your blood from how pretty you look,” he opened his mouth slightly, his beautiful fangs making their appearance. 

You smirked at him, smoothing out his tux jacket, “Put those fangs away and finish getting ready for the wedding, ya?” 

Sunoo rolled his eyes, retracting his fangs, “All for you my love.” 

You pulled him into a soft kiss before rushing back out the door with the other girls. 

One of the beautiful things about having an early summer wedding at the beach is the breathtaking view and cool breeze. 

Heeseung and __ really chose a beautiful time of year for their wedding. 

Sunoo couldn’t stop smiling during the whole wedding ceremony. His heart nearly beat out of his chest as he stood with his brothers watching the oldest one take his vows not just as a married man, but as the king of the vampires. 

Sunoo also couldn’t stop looking at you and how that red dress complimented your skin. How your earrings dangled and moved with each movement of your head as you pulled your hair behind your pointed ear. 

He couldn’t help but picture what it would be like with himself kneeling before you asking for your hand in marriage. 

And by the looks of his brother's faces, they all were thinking the same with their mates. 

Sunoo nudged Niki’s shoulder, “You’re too young to think about marriage,” he teased the maknae in a whisper. 

Niki rolled his eyes, “I am not even thinking that, besides, being stuck in a seventeen-year-old's body for my whole lifetime, remember?” he whispered back. 

Jungwon hushed the both of you, “We are literally in a wedding, shut up.” 

Niki leaned closer to his hyung, “You thinking about marrying __ huh?” he teased. 

Jungwon tightened his jaw as Sunoo leaned closer to him as well, “Turn back around. Right. Now.” 

Sunoo and Niki giggled, putting their attention back to the royals.

The sound of bottles popping and the smell of champagne filled the cool summer air. 

Heeseung and __ shoved cake in each other's faces as everyone cheered and took sips of their alcohol. 

The courtiers at the sides of the king and queen, whispered into Heeseung’s ear as his smile grew wide. 

Sunoo felt his heart race faster, the courtiers being here meant the royal government had fully accepted Heeseung as king. 

Heeseung wiped the cake from his face, cheering loudly with his hands raised, “I WILL MAKE THE CHANGE!!!” 

The pack and the other guests all cheered, bowing down to the new king and his queen. 

Glasses of blood were being handed out to the crowd, and the witch tied her arm with yours, leaning on your shoulder, “No sorry,” she smiled politely, “We aren’t bloodsuckers like this guy!” she said pointing her thumb at Sunghoon at her side. 

Sunghoon ripped her away from you, his fingers taking her chin, her soft giggles escaping her lips, “Better watch it when it comes to teasing me hex girl, I’ll sink my teeth into you.” 

The host handed Sunghoon his glass of blood as he wrapped his arms around his witch. 

Seeing them made you miss your vampire. Your eyes searched the crowd. 

“Look for me, my elf?” Sunoo said from behind you, and your heart nearly stopped. 

His arms wrap around you from behind, “Yes I was my sunshine,” you leaned into him, “Where were you?” 

Sunoo chuckled, “I was with Heeseung and __, but then I had a perfect idea.” 

“Which was?” 

Sunoo called the host back over to grab himself the glass of blood, taking two good gulps, returning the glass, “Follow me!” 

Sunoo took your head as he led you away from the wedding party and down the beach, the loud music softly fading in the background. 

“Sunoo, they will worry about where we went,” You glanced back behind you at the party, “What if someone needs me?” 

“My love, you are an excellent doctor, but Heeseung and Jay are also doctors, and there’s our witch too, they can handle everything.” 

 You sighed with a nod, you knew he was right. 

Sunoo suddenly stopped, “Ta-Da!” 

You look down at the sand, seeing a pretty orange beach blanket with a bottle of champagne and two glasses. 

You giggled at him, “You want to drink again?” 

Sunoo did his famous smile that you loved so much. You swore his smile was brighter than the sun. 

You both sat down, opening the bottle of champagne. Sunoo filled both glasses, saying, “I just want to drink with you.” 

You both drank to your heart's content, Sunoo getting buzzed and asking for you to refill the bottle with your magic. 

With a roll of your eyes, you moved your hand over the bottle, watching as the liquid replenished. 

You had to admit, drinking with your mate was fun. Sunoo never once stopped smiling and always kept on giggling. 

Elves drink all the time, so your tolerance to alcohol is a lot higher. But right when you started to get buzzed, Sunoo took the glass from your hands. 

“Baby,” you pouted, reaching back for the glass, “Give it back.” 

“Marry me.” 

You stopped moving, looking up at him with eyes widened, did you hear that correctly?

“Huh?” you asked, making sure he said what you think. 

“I said marry me,” he sassed, rolling his eyes, “I overheard Jay saying earlier he wanted to marry __, and then Jake and Sunghoon also stated how everyone getting married sounded like a good idea,” he pouted, “Do you not want to marry me?” 

You smiled, cupping his face, “Why don’t we talk about this when we are sober?” 

Sunoo smiled, leaning to rest his forehead against yours, “Okay. But think about it, a cool vampire-elf wedding? The party would be awesome and if we have kids-“

You kissed him suddenly, your heart not being able to see the cute image of Sunoo in a wedding tux and as a future father. 

Sunoo kissed you back, not being able to hold back his smile. 

He pulled you closer to him, watching as the setting sun reflected onto the ocean's water. 

“Want to use your magic to refill the bottle again?” 

You giggled at your mate, holding your hand out for the bottle.

He was a little annoyed at first because this random TV show out of nowhere interrupted his session of watching Terrance and Phillip.

When he met up with his friends at school, they told him about this famous TV show that is going around in south park and it's the one that had you as an actor in it.

And that's when Stan saw you organizing your locker for your next class, mostly everyone in the school didn't know you were the same actress that was on TV.

You had no idea how much Stan enjoys watching the show, he mostly only watches the episodes that features you in it.

Even just one year ago, it could not be said that multi-fandom roleplay groups had much of a place in Tumblr's larger ecosystem. The larger roleplay community has seen plenty of fandoms rise and fall. New and old faces come and go, and as life goes on, things change within the larger RP scene, and Tumblr at large. When it comes to tumblr-based MFRPs, most often, groups start with great ambition, and grand ideas, only to find themselves doomed to fade out within four to six months of opening, if not less.

Aevum Isles is not that group. Nor will we be.

As the first year anniversary comes and goes, Nov. 13th marks a monumental occasion, not just for the Isles and our community, but for Tumblr MFRP as a whole. Despite everything, Aevum has made it through a year, and continues to go strong. It is not lost to us that it is entirely thanks to each and every one our members that Aevum Isles has been able to grow and thrive as a roleplay community.

Some of you have been with us from the beginning. Others have only joined recently. Some have passed through and gone again, and others have appeared from seemingly out of thin air! Regardless of how, when, or why, each and every member who has been a part of Aevum, past, present, and future is a big part of something wonderful. Our community wouldn't be what it is today (or here at all!) without all of you to be a part of it.

A glass cloche surrounds the plant, ensuring the correct amount of sunlight and moisture is maintained.

Illusional Toys

These toys can be found at Buster Barns Toys in the Crystal Heights Mall. While these toys may seem ordinary, each of them is enchanted with minor effects to give them some extra pizzaz.

The toy can be anything, with one of the following effects:

Elemental Rune - This toy always matches the day and night cycles of the Isles.

Emotion Rune - This toy's color matches the mood of the owner.

Animation Rune - This toy can move on its own, or create minor effects such as sparkles or smoke clouds.

Illumination Rune- This toy can glow, and does not require charge from sunlight.

Deception Rune - This toy (typically game pieces) will always let you win.

Never-Ending Rune - When attached to a small container, will produce an infant amount of the item inside of the container. (e.g., if put on a cookie jar, it will always be full but not overflowing with cookies.)
