Richard x Anne one-shot: Richard steals Anne's wedding ring (they married in private the two alone) for proposing again and make a big wedding like she always wished. She is full in fear because she believes she lost it.
Prompt from: @thekingmakersdaugthers
Covering herself with her clothing, Anne rested in Richard’s arms. She was naked, on the beach, wearing nothing but her engagement ring. She giggled, and Richard asked, “What are you giggling about?”
“I have done three things I never thought I would do.”
“What three things?”
“Lost my engagement ring, stung by jellyfish, and had sex on the beach.”
How did it all start?
The two got engaged and married in private. Anne found elopement romantic and adventurous. Richard, on the other hand, still wanted a big wedding, knowing how much Anne dreamed of being the most beautiful bride. They had yet informed their families when Yorks and Nevillles went out on a vacation together.
While with her family, Anne didn’t wear the rings for she wasn’t ready to let them know. Then one day, she couldn’t find her rings. Panicked, she looked everywhere until Isabel pulled her out of the vacation house to hang out at the beach.
Richard and George were there too; as well as their parents.
Anne waited the opportunity to speak to Richard about the rings. Yet, Richard was in a completely careless mood. The two walked on the beach and feeling the waves against their feet.
Suddenly, Richard stopped and got onto his knees. With the a ring box opened, he asked, “Anne, will you marry me?”
Now Anne realized where the rings were all along. She didn’t lose them; it was Richard who took them without telling her.
“I...I...Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!”
She screamed because she felt burned.
Because she stepped on a jellyfish.
Isabel and George were taking picture and recording with their phones from afar. It was supposed to be a romantic scene. But now it was Anne screaming and hopping around and Richard debating out loud if he should pee on her stung site.
Everyone else jumped in and tried to calm them down. Anne ended up at an urgent care center and no one seemed to remember that they were supposed to be ‘engaged’ on this day.
She got the proper treatment and the pain ceased. At night, she came out of their vacation house to take a walk. Richard did the same. The two saw each other and then started to laugh at themselves.
The beautiful moonlight in the clear sky and the comfortable breeze.
The two kissed and then made love on the beach.
“Anne, will you marry me, again?”
“Yes,” she said, kissing him. “As long as there’s no jellyfish.”
