Hello all! I would love to see explanations and elaborations in the reblogs. Disclaimer that these r not all opinions i would choose but those i think a wide range of fandom could find a home with.

* = this option is a way to put the choice in the hands of Peoples harmed by the war- Chief Hakoda, Chief Arnook, King Bumi, King Kuei, Kyoshi Island’s leadership, the Foggy Swamp’s leadership, the Si Wong tribes, Aang (to represent the air nomads) and others. Think Nuremberg Trial stuff. If it results in prison or execution, it will be due to someone other than the Fire Lord deciding.

** = this is taste of own medicine approach. Zuko was the banished prince who thought his honor was lost, given a task that is impossible as the only path to forgiveness. [Id say “make him search for living air nomads in order to be allowed home” but i dont want to give the guy a chance to get more genocidey.] by not having a ship full of soldiers or a relative with him, he is losing everything- a pale comparison to Aang waking up to a complete genocide of his race / nation.

*** = this is a softhearted approach, focused on humanizing someone who has lost everything, giving him a compassionate way to live out his days. You send Ozai somewhere he used to spend time with his family, when he was just the younger son without the throne in reach. Its basically a resort town, but still semi house arrest (contained to this island). Iroh gets to be there because maybe brotherly love and unconditional affection is what is needed to keep him placated. He can preach peace and tea and destiny.

I recently discovered this album/artist. Lying somewhere in between Tortoise and Steve Reich, Anna Meredith - on Jet Black Raider - provides a colorful bridge between past and present. Thoughtful nuances, unique syncopation and modern sensibilities tell the story of an artist who is searching for mastery via experimentation, self awareness and intrigue.
