Who would you say is the most underrated player/unsung hero on each team?

Boston Fleet - Shay Maloney does a lot of little things right and has been generally steady for a Boston team that's struggled.

Minnesota Frost - Mae Batherson has one of the highest +/- ratings in the league, which she's done very quietly. Only 2 points on the year but a +6. Everyone wants offense offense offense, so stay-at-home Ds get overlooked.

Montreal Victoire - It feels wrong to call Kristin O'Neill an unsung hero, but she... kinda is? Flawlessly transitioned back to center this season. Beast in the face-off circle and doing it all at 5'4". You can't win games if you don't have possession. Honorable mention Anna Wilgren.

New York Sirens - Jessie Eldridge has almost eclipsed her point totals from last year already, and her shot looks so much better.

Ottawa Charge - Toss-up between Savolainen and Darkangelo. The former hasn't sacrificed her defense for scoring, something you don't see in the men's game (staring at every wannabe winger), while the latter looks so much more comfortable this season than last.

Toronto Sceptres - We're all goalie appreciators in this house, but I'm standing by this decision, because Raygan Kirk has made the best of a shit situation. It's hard to go from backup to starter mid-season. Most players struggle with it. She's stepped up in a big way.

i’ll be interested to see if kori keeps boulier with barnes, they’re both very short but they did really well tonight having never played together. and if that happens anna w (if she’s healthy becomes the 7th defender or replaces the other anna potentially)

I think the first set of pairings were more balanced re size but i think the second set were more balanced on a skill basis. So i would keep boulier and barnes together.

The thing with the annas is i think it took some time to adjust- like kjellbin had one game where she could not complete a pass. But i think she’s improved and i think wilgren has been good. But i wouldn’t have them lead a pair.
