i will never be able to stop thinking about the smart and creative writing that lucy and toby put into SIX. the songs, the characters (the actors also have a HUGE impact on this), the dialogue, everything. everything ties in how it should, the storyline is interactive and intriguing, and it also keeps the watcher focused because there’s not one dull moment in SIX. with the silly dialogue to the smart writing + small parts of real history implied into the musical while still being goofy and fun. to a silly, “hey, nice neck by the way!” to anne explaining how grouping them will of course make them compare themselves.

i have so much love and respect for this musical, it’s amazingly written and beautiful done. the directors, producers, soundboard directors, tech team, actors, everyone is so talented and amazing. i love SIX with all my heart <3

The song "The Underworld" from Epic:The Musical reminds me so much of Yoo Joonghyuk :'(

I think the part that Polites sings (hope I got the name right) works really well with Lee Hyunsung ( but Lee Seolhwa could work too) but clearly the part where Odysseus's mom appears works best if you think about Yoo Mia. He always tried to keep her as far away from the scenerios as possible but he didn't always manage to keep her safe

Also, I think that if you ignore what Odysseus did to that little boy and just listen to this song in terms of ORV then the "I keep thinking of the infant from that night" could work for his child with Lee Seolhwa (my brain also decided to choose this moment to remind me about that boy in the same train part as him that always died so that's... something)

you see, the problem with writing my oc backstories while listening to epic the musical is that i start instinctively changing details to match the lyrics of the current song playing.

and then i have to examine whatever "brilliant new backstory detail" i just thought of, and go:

(in the voice of someone trying to see what's in their dog's mouth) is that your oc's backstory? is it? yeah, um- no. no, it's not. that's odysseus of ithaca. put him back. no, i don't care if "ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves", your oc is ten years old and she does not have the ability nor the time to somehow get a crew of soldiers killed. move her along to the assassin plotline and put the sad greek man back where he came from.

Hello! I was originally just going to delete this ask because it's not exactly my type to get involved in fandom drama, but you chose to send this on a day when réka was particularly vocal about her love for bts in our server so like..... I just have to show you how wrong you are, sorry.

Here, anon (you're welcome to come off anon to talk if you would like to have an actual conversation), have some screenshots from this morning of réka (user sope come back 🍾🎊 ) loving on the members at 7-8 in the morning on a random weekend, which you would know is a pretty frequent occurrence if you knew her outside of her tumblr blog (which, yes, was very focused on yoongi as he is her bias and the member she chose to gif most):

You'll notice that, in this server that réka created, there are individual channels for all the members, as well as a sope (her main bias line) and ot7 channel, because she actually loves all seven members and wanted us all to have a space to gush about each member (réka included). Having a bias, someone you relate to more, does not mean you don't care about the other members.

I understand that all you know of her is her tumblr account, but you have to understand that what someone chooses to post on a curated blog is not their entire life.

I hope this little glimpse into outside-of-tumblr réka allows you to open your mind a bit and realize that you don't know as much as you think you do about people on the internet.

there are the obvious ones that i adore, like lucia and la fille du régiment, and those are definitely up there but then i also really enjoy les huguenots and don giovanni. and then traviata is lovely too. i do quite like opera hamlet.. and nozze.. its very hard to do a solid top 5 but if i had to at gunpoint it would beee:
