This goes to show that the jirai subculture is still a place that promotes self-destructive thinking and behavior, and is often fueling the fire for unhealthy comparison.

Wearing girly fashion does not require you to look a certain way or weigh a certain amount. East Asian beauty standards are harshly critical of natural human features, especially towards feminine-presenting people. As someone who's being affected by this harsh criteria every day, sometimes I need to remind myself that tummy rolls are normal (and gorgeous), hip dips are normal (and stunning!), and that it's not my fault if Secret Honey dresses don't accommodate my wide shoulders.

I desperately wish more girly brands could expand their size options instead of doing the opposite :'3

I pretty much shop exclusively at thrift stores. 1) clothes are made so cheaply and mass produced lately, I will not spend 35$ on a top that cost 7$ to make and possibly used slave labor, 2) I am very messy and will just ruin anything so why spend a lot; literally got fucking spaghetti on this outfit three days ago 3) I’d rather eat at a restaurant than have new clothes and always prefer to eat my money 4) less trash

they're a little expensive because of its fabrics used for them but they're all worth it~ makes you look super cute too!! :3

BY THE WAY mizukis bow reads cuberouge which is probably the brand they wear and very likely a reference to ankrouge which is a fairly popular girly kei brand which checks out bc amias style is pretty clearly intended to be girly kei (sweet girly specifically - ena also wears both sweet and dark coords)
