What We Bought At NFCC

We tried not to go overboard on spending at NFCC this time round, we've got my birthday coming up in June, Sunnycon the Saturday of that same week and then on the Sunday we're off to Rome! So we need to keep our pennies safe at the moment.

The main thing we wanted to pick up at NFCC was the Naruto Nendoroid, but AnimUK didn't take any with them so we didn't manage to get one of these.

Here is what we did buy -

Mojo Jojo Funko POP - £10

Logan Funko POP - £10

Scarecrow, Dorothy & Wicked Witch Voodoo Keyrings - £10 for 3

Gudetama Blind Bag - £4 [Animez]

Cardcaptor Sakura Chains - £7 each [AnimUK]

Pikazard - £12 [Fake, but Ikebukuro Store sold out before our first trip]

Total = £74

Not too bad considering what we brought back, the Voodoo's were a present for my Mam, she absolutely loves that style of keyring and the Wizard of Oz is her favourite movie of all time.

Where did you get your aot plushies? What website did you get them? I'm trying to get one for a Christmas gift XD

Where online can fans of Hetalia who live in the UK, can I find official Hetalia merch?

I’m not from the UK so the only advice I can give you is to buy directly from Japanese retailers such as CDJapan. The English manga and DVDs can be bought from RightStuf. 

Edit: I’ve gotten a few replies from UK fans, AnimUK carries authentic Japanese merchandise and individual sellers on TicTail also sell some Hetalia merchandise.

tbh she was the main reason I went this year, Ive only been like twice before when I could afford i/could go with someone one and then hyper japan last year. but i totally get what you’d mean it would feel weird.

tho this year was kinda strange? like pretty much every stand had pop vinyls and like I found it so hard to find Haikyuu stuff, like I had to rely on the Animuk store for mine (even then they didnt have the kuroo nendo in yet rip)

there was other stuff I wanted like ten count and that but they had to tell people like half the trains back got cancelled so I had to leave early rip, goodbye my beautiful art books :’D Ill find you online somewhere

yup I’m in the UK. I do a large amount of shopping online from ebay, amazon (both UK and US), animuk, anime-on-line (mvm’s direct store), amiami, eye on asia, alltheanime

And physical stores water stones, hmv, cex, forbidden planet and conventions
