Hiruzen sarutobi - ISTJ

SI - Hiruzen has very powerful experiences that shape him. His training with the 1st and 2nd Hokage, the importance of the village, his disciples and also the promise to the 4th regarding Naruto. Hiruzen is the most devout lave of all for having an unshakable belief in what was experienced, unfortunately his memories of Orochinaru were his downfall, after all he was unable to defeat him as he was unable to overcome his memories.

TE - having successfully passed two wars, the 3rd hokage stood out for his great ability to protect the village and its people, he did everything necessary to protect the Leaf village. When necessary, he organized teams that best adapted to optimize groups and companions.

FI - Hiruzen was very attached to his disciples, always loyal to them and the leaf. Hiruzen doesn't show much of his emotion but he easily goes into a SI-FI loop when he faces his disciples having difficulty discerning what to do.

NE - Without much ability to change his perspective, Hiruzen allowed his disciple to escape, was unable to step down as hokage, and never changed his perspective regarding the will of fire. His lack of change in perspective was his biggest flaw and certainly his downfall.

So for this pairing here, my favorite would have to be Mafuyu Sato (INFP) and Uenoyama Ritsuki (ISTP) from Given. It’s a really sweet anime that’s a bit emotional as well. I haven’t read the manga but I’m excited for season two hopefully. I also really liked it because of how much relate to Mafuyu.

Another example of this pairing I could find was Taki Tachibana (ISTP) and Mitsuha Miyazumi (INFP) from the movie Your Name. I liked Your Name, it was a pretty interesting, though Taki and Mitsuha didn’t really connect much until the end, but that’s just how I feel.

Tobirama senju - ESTJ

TE - Tobirama is pragmatic, decisive and an excellent organizer. Tobirama organized and structured the village at the beginning, created the chunin exam, placed the Uchihas as police officers and also took care of the bureaucracy. He has a structured way of thinking, organizing and planning the situation.

SI - he is driven by experiences that are meaningful to him, the importance of the senju clan, the death of his younger brother, and so on. His more sensational side helped him consolidate the village, making him the most assertive hokage of all.

NE - Tobirama manages to be open-minded enough to bet on the Leaf Village, even if it means uniting with his Uchiha rivals. He is able to see how much good this can bring to everyone, especially the Senju clan, but he still has difficulty accepting changes.

FI - he does not express feelings, even being able to appear cold, but he still has a deep loyalty to the leaf village, his brother and his clan.

Hashirama Senju - INFJ

NI- Hashirama is a visionary, someone capable of seeing and inspiring a dream for the future for everyone around him. He has a deep ability to understand the meaning of people's behavior and uses this in a subtle way, with charisma and good humor to alleviate situations.

FE- Hashirama is a born politician, he makes decisions seeking the harmony of the group, even intimidating his own brother if necessary. In his conversation with Sasuke we can see how attentive and open-minded he can be, accepting and embracing everyone as equals.

TI - the god shinobi was impractical in his decisions. Although this characteristic made him open-minded, it also made him not think about consequences, unless the situation demanded it, as in the outcome with Madara.

SE - Hashirama dreamed but Tobirama rode it. The idealized dream of a village that brought peace was a huge achievement in the shinobi world, however, Hashirama, like other dominant NI, has difficulty putting into practice, structuring and maintaining his dream.

My favorite couple of this pairing would be Kou Mabuchi (INFP) and Futaba Yoshioka (ESFJ) from Ao Haru ride. For anyone who hasn’t seen it basically they were both childhood friends until Kou “Disappeared” suddenly. Then one day Fubata is reunited with Kou in high school, but he’s changed. So yea, bit of a roller coaster after that. It’s a pretty interesting anime, it’s only 12 episodes and one season however. So I’d recommend reading the manga also.

ROXENNE OF LOVE AND HATE - ESFJ

Extroverted  Feeling(dominant, FE): Roxanne is amazing at the ability to connect with other people (as standard, her ability with yoke is similar to her most striking feature: a synchronization), this ability to read how emotions creates an engaging relationship bond (here is the part of love in the nickname) with whom she wants to learn a technique. The Ability to analyze the emotional state is a useful tool in combat, using this against the opponent to destabilize and also understand what bothers you. The unique charisma that becomes very convincing, enough to set an entire organization against its rival, which alone in series almost impossible for her to win, as well as used to make her opponents scared. Roxanne has very marked traits of manipulation, mainly negative dissipation in other people, she maintains this attitude even after awakening since she was more developed in her cognition than her companions.

Introverted Sensing(auxiliary, SI): Roxanne mimics her companions to evolve, as soon as she becomes interested in some technique of her companions she uses her FE to connect with her, until she understands how it works and assimilates with her SI how her colleagues fought. She records each movement, in what situation it should be used, what mechanisms are behind the technique and finally what deficiency it supplies, SI is attentive to the movements themselves, which greatly facilitates the learning of manual techniques, as soon as all of this is recorded she abandons her colleague and goes in search of new techniques. Everything that has been seen before does not surprise her because she already has something to do recorded in the references of her SI, and everything that is new is quickly added and then worked on so that there is an answer like what happened with the Twins. Her SI built a path that she must follow, being the only claymore in the series to have some kind of personal goal to be fulfilled, approach number 1 and learn her technique and thus become number 1.

Extroverted Intuition(tertiary, NE): Roxanne's NE is the cause of Hatred in her nickname, from the moment she learns something, the desire for novelty arises, the feeling of being bored is the driving force for the new and different. Being under the 2 other functions Roxanne keeps on using everything she has learned, using her NE to have fun and escape from forever. During her battle with her awakened rival Roxanne ended up falling in the FE-NE loop because, her rival had a big change that she neither expected nor had experience to reference, the uncontrolled use of Ne gave her weakness, the lack of reference to SI. Testing various possibilities to try to pick up nuances already known to your opponent during the battle without success was the first mistake she made and also the answer on how to defeat her.

Introverted  Thinking(inferior, TI): Roxanne has a good use of her IT even though she is inferior, she is able to understand what a strategy or technique is and why it is, but unable to create, so she copies techniques already known and mastered. In her awakened form, her lack of TI skills is striking, since in this state she does not have allies to help her or practice enough to draw conclusions or form strategies on how to deal with a situation, something that her opponent, who uses TE quickly. realized and exploited effectively, his weak TI caused that even having better and more powerful weapons, he was defeated for not being able to use them in battle.

Guts - Berserk - ISTP

Introverted Thinking (Ti)

Guts’ most dominant trait is his brain, even if it isn’t by reading. He’s a battle hardened warrior who uses his knowledge to kill people, and uses it to make sure they don’t ruin any plans his cohorts came up with. When it comes to battle, he soaks up information like a sponge, and uses it to his advantage. It’s also stated that Guts isn’t very talkative to people, making him a silent type.

Extroverted Sensing (Se)

Guts has a sense of adventure that is only outweighed by his thinking. He’s an expert when it comes to lifting his sword, which is heavier than a average person, and is also a skilled marksman, like using his canon arm when he was first shown. It’s also shown that he can also read the facial expression of those he faces and understands on how they act based on the expression alone.

Introverted Intuition (Ni)

Gut’s admires the silence as it gives him time to think about his future, hoping to get back at Griffith for the deeds he had done. He is also the type of person who usually comes up with new ways to make sure that his dreams for saving Casca from her own potato state possible. Guts usually visualizes his goals and is the type of person who would not stop until he can make it a reality.

Extroverted Feeling (Fe)

Gut’s feelings are absolutely recessive, having not much experience on talking to dating the woman he loves, Casca. However, his pride is too high as he can’t exactly find the words to comfort those he cares about, but his emotions are reflected based off of the other person as well. It’s also the fact that his emotions are unhealthy due to him having a lot of hatred for many things, and even almost lost control of his body when using the Berserker Armor. SUBMITTER’S NOTE: Guts is someone I found difficult to type, and I kept thinking to myself, Is he more of a Fe or a Ti... I realized that he needs to use his Ti as it shows that it balances well with his Se as an Auxiliary. Also, I always found Guts to embody emotions based off of other people, making him have Fe instead of Fi.

(Si) Introverted Sensing

Imaizumi’s bike riding remains consistent as he focuses not on new abilities but on improving what he’s familiar with. He also remembers his loss to Midousuji vividly despite the fact that it had happened while they were children. Imaizumi then uses this memory of loss as encouragement to meet his goal of beating Midousuji and winning the Inter High.

(Te) Extroverted Thinking

Imaizumi tries to not let his emotions impact his decisions in a race and is willing to leave behind his friends if it’s the logical thing to do. Imaizumi takes pride in his systematic style of bike riding. If he encounters a situation, such as a hill, he understands the sequential steps he must take to handle it whether it be adjusting his gears or pedaling faster.

(Fi) Introverted Feeling

Imaizumi tends to be reserved and a bit uneasy when it comes to deep emotional connections with his teammates. He has his own beliefs on how biking should be done and judges those around him based on these morals. This is seen when Imaizumi underestimates Onoda’s abilities due to his belief that biking is about fun. 

(Ne) Extroverted Intuition 

Imaizumi creates a serious exterior for himself that sometimes fades when he talks about topics he’s passionate about. He is also open to new ideas and biking styles.

(Si) Introverted Sensing 

 Shion often refers to his first meeting with Nezumi in the past as a decider for his actions throughout the series. Despite other characters warnings about Nezumi, he focuses mostly on their childhood meeting as a definition of Nezumi's character. This aspect also presents a problem as Shion only thinks of Safu as the boyish childhood friend he grew up with and not the woman/potential love interest she wishes to be seen. Shion also shows major loyalty to those he's created bonds with despite outside prompting to move on. This shows when he continued to request a way to contact those in No. 6 after leaving despite Nezumi's instructions to cut ties. Shion also continues small tasks and behaviors that he once performed in No. 6 while living with Nezumi as those with the Si trait tend to stick to routines even within chaos.

(Fe) Extroverted Feeling 

 Those with the Fe trait feel a strong sense to help those around them and enjoy doing so. Though Nezumi broke in to his room during their first meeting and posed a possible threat, Shion felt the need to help him once he noticed he was wounded. Like other Fe trait holders, Shion displays the need to protect the feelings of those he cares about even though he tends to become more upset than the person themselves. This applies to Shion defending Dogkeeper from Nezumi's insults and mostly so when he attacked Rikiga after he offered to make Nezumi a prostitute. 

(Ti) Introverted Thinking 

 Shion shows Ti trait stubbornness throughout his character development when he rejects Nezumi's belief that No. 6 is evil without direct evidence. He required multiple examples of the crimes committed by No. 6 before he grasped the concept that No.6 was corrupted. Shion also tries to fully understand how the world outside No.6 works and constantly asks Nezumi 'why' certain aspects of it were the way they were. It is common for those with the Ti trait to want to understand the world around them to the fullest.

(Ne) Extroverted Thinking 

 Those with the Ne trait are known for their scientific thinking and Shion shows this through his advanced medical knowledge at a young age. Shion thinks a lot about his impact on the things around him based on his actions. He asks himself a lot about the future of No. 6 if he decides to help Nezumi destroy the barrier. He also asks himself what will happen if he chooses not to do anything about the bees despite his knowledge of the situation.
