I haven't seen what he's said, and I'm just as confused because one moment we were hanging out and having a lot of fun, then I went to the hospital for mania, and when I came back he had removed me and all the people I knew who knew him from his friend list and he disappeared. I didn't even know we weren't friends any more until I posted fan art he drew and a friend of his yelled at me for it while I was completely fucking clueless as to why

to me it seems like he met someone who completely changed his views and made him do a 180

Cutting can be hard to stop cold turkey. It's kind of an addiction when you use it to self-medicate emotional pain. My arms used to ache when I got the urge to do it. If a therapist simply said 'that's bad you shouldn't do it' it would be ineffective, it could even make things worse. Most people know it's bad, you're literally hurting yourself, but sometimes you feel like you need it whether as punishment or endorphin release or w/e. Better to try to keep someone safe while helping them stop.

It's definitely a sort of addiction, it has relapses just like one.

The big problem is, if you make someone feel bad about doing it, you're still making them feel BAD, which will increase their likelihood of doing it. When you show understanding, and show you won't get upset at them if they relapse, they'll be more likely to trust you and tell you when they feel the urge or at least tell you when they do it. They will feel encouraged, not to cut, but to treat themselves better, and a first step to that can be reducing harm.

Hey Jitters, I know you got like eleven hundred things going on now, but have you ever seen the stop-motion short My Little Goat? Have you considered doing a Once Upon A Calamity story based around the fairy tale sometime in the future?

I have seen the animation, yes. Spooky but very effective message. As for a story based on the fairytale it was based on, I'm not sure. I'd have to come up with an idea for it that's unique enough that it's not just a retelling of either the original or the animation.
