“Draconia” appears to be a bastardization of “draco/draconis” (latin for dragon). I cannot verify the validity of that specifically, but hes based off maleficent so hes certainly being named after dragons in one way or another

Actually Lelouch (riding the horse) is never shown riding outside of the theme song and likely cannot actually ride a horse (he's probably scared of them), but I think that makes this horse iconic for managing to score a prominent spot in multiple theme songs."

"Anne is a Kelpie, so idk if she counts, but the design is basically the same as a horse (hope the image link works). One of the protagonists, Senshi, was especially fond of her for their good relationship when he went down to the water level to fish. She kept him company and he formed a bond of friendship. Unfortunately, Anne was at the end of the day still a monster and tried to eat him when she had the chance. I know that sounds fucked up, but what i love about her is that it works as a parallel to real life people treating exotic*/wild animals as pets without any regard for the animal's actual nature, like backyard zoos or that weird trend decades ago of having pet chimps, which often times ended really badly. *(some exotic animals can be kept as pets -such as birds or reptiles - but a lot of people don't offer proper care, it might be more accurate to compare her to a wild animal though)."
