It’s getting to be that time of year!! For my followers joining me at Anime NebrasKon 2024 this upcoming weekend, I’ll be hosting a few kaiju-centric panels over the weekend!!

First up is my typical G-fandom panel Hail to the King: 70 years of Godzilla. In this panel we'll cover and celebrate Godzilla's triumphs, share interesting kaiju trivia, and engage both kaiju newcomers and tokusatsu diehards alike! Finally, my favorite panel to run, Kaiju Jeopardy! A competitive challenge for kaiju fans of all kinds, this panel features trivia based on Godzilla, King Kong, Ultraman, and all of their giant monster friends. Contestants are selected via audience raffle, and the winner will receive a fabulous kaiju prize! After all, this isn't your grandparents' Jeopardy. This! Is! KAIJU JEOPARDY!!! i competed in the hall contest intermediate category at nebkon, and i'm surprised i won! there were so many well done cosplays in the hall contest.

i didn't get to wander around or attend as many panels as i usually do since we brought along our 1-year-old baby this year, but it was still a lot of fun!

Made this tshirt design for Anime Nebraskon in 2022. They wanted their animal mascots turned into magical people, so I happily obliged with a dog girl and cat boy! (they're both definitely trans btw)

To my knowledge the shirts sold out pretty quick, so I'm pretty proud of that ✨

From sketch to the main stage! My first time cosplaying in a main stage contest, going on stage was so fun but I was totally burned out by the end.

I had an amazing time cosplaying at Anime NebrasKon over the weekend!

On Friday, I debuted a new costume, Trucy from Ace Attorney! It was my first time cosplaying a character from the series, but I’ve been a fan of the games for years. Trucy’s outfit is super cute, and I had lots of fun making and wearing it.

On Saturday, I was Sophy from PriPara! I made her original coord, White Swan, to celebrate this year being PriPara’s tenth anniversary. It was very emotional for me to revisit this character who I first cosplayed so many years ago!

On Sunday, I wore Irida from Pokémon Legends: Arceus! I really enjoy wearing this costume, and I’m happy that I chose to do it a second time. It’s always been my experience that Pokémon costumes get some of the kindest reactions from people at cons.

i am from nebraska and some terrible bills passed a round of debate in the state legislature:

these bills target trans youth and their parents rights under the guise of protecting school sports and 'protecting the children' from nefarious things from nefarious boogeymen in the forms of trans rights.
