As for the music, one of the many reasons why my answer is so late was because I wanted to listen to it all :') And when I played the soundtrack from Mugen Train, I tried to write my one fic 💀 And I'll say this, it was fun to listen to haha. I really vibed to it!I think I should play soundtracks more often for writing, I used to be addicted to The Death Cure Soundtrack and Harry Potter or Game of Thrones, it's also very good for me. Because of you ('cause you're making me want listening to soundtracks lmao) I also played the Fruits Basket Soundtrack and ahhhh the poetry 🤌🏻

When I was at a coldrain concert (you may not know them, because it's a metalcore band, but they have a few songs for animd openings) this year, during a break between supports, some people next to me started talking about JJK and a girl asked so loudly what the openings were with JJK, because she forgot. And then I jumped out and sang "You are my special" 😭😭😭

Lost in paradise is so classic!! Also a song that is hard not to dance to. Since we're talking about JJK, I also love Ao No Sumika (S2 OP1) by Tatsuya Kitani (just... i think the total is 25! there are some that i kinda watched in passing while my sister had it on the tv and i just happened to be nearby, but for these i only count the ones that i actively paid attention to. definitely not as many as a well-versed weeb but i can no longer call myself a beginner either lmao.

i only have music from the following animes: demon slayer, my hero academia, attack on titan, jujutsu kaisen, assassination classroom, mashle, paradox live (unfortunately 😵‍💫). i have the opening theme of my happy marriage and the instrumental of the ending but i feel like that barely counts. some of the ones i have from demon slayer are like instrumental/characters theme covers that other people make cause i don't think the official ost is released on spotify and any osts uploaded on youtube get taken down sooner or later 😔 (mugen train i'm referring to you 😩 you didn't ask but i have so many favs from the ost [tracks 21 {tanjiro vs. enmu}-25, 27-30, 32-33 {rengoku vs. akaza}])

currently only 36 songs in my weeb playlist, but there are definitely songs i know that i just haven't saved! either cause i don't like it enough to save or cause i don't actively think about saving anime music when i initially hear it lol :") or cause it's not on spotify and i'm too lazy to download locally. i only saved a bunch of MHA stuff recently because you sent me that ask about it a while ago LMAO

i wish i could pull together my own spotify wrapped-esque graphics since this year's sucked BALLS (i heard they laid off a bunch of their staff and used ai for the wrapped this year. ugh). but for the stats themselves, looks like songs (lyrics) vs. instrumentals/themes (no lyrics) is split ~60/40. some of these songs with lyrics i would definitely forfeit for the instrumentals if were actually on spotify (e.g. some of the paralive stuff... the rapping is sooo cringe but the beats are sooo good 😭)
